Here is CH.2 of "Fall of a Seraphim". I'm currently thinking of how exactly to make Emily fall, so if you have any ideas, write them to me
Emily rushed out of the garden and towards the Citadel. The Citadel was the place in which the Seraphim, Archangel and other high-ranking angels resided. This unfortunately meant, that favored humans also got live here such as Adam, who saw Emily running through the halls.
"Heeeyyy there Emsy, I must talk to you for a sec, could you come with me? Really important shit, ya know?" Adam said.
Emily just pushed Adam to the side "can't talk right now, you kin slayer, I have to talk to Sera about something."
Adam being, well, Adam, was not really satisfied with her answer, and with her comparing him to the sinners. He was the original human after all, no one could be as perfect as him, so everyone should strive to please him any way possible. He grabbed Emilys arm and stopped her in her track.
"Now listen here, bitch, I might have respect to my superiors, but only if they can back it with their powers. Your job is to bring joy to the people of heaven, pipsqueak, so get in fucking line before-"
"I hope there is no problem occurring here right now, is there, Adam?" a voice said from behind him.
Adam slowly turned around, to see not only Michael, but also Sera, standing there watching with mild irritation in their eyes. Now Emily is just a pushover, he could easily take her any day, but the Head Seraphim, and the Commander of the Heavenly army, not even he is stupid enough to piss them off.
"No S-Sir, everything is fine, totally fine, in fact it was never so peaceful around here wouldn't you agree, Ems?"
"Sera I have questions for you, can we please talk in your office?" Emily asked, completely ignoring Adam.
"Of course, Emily let's head there immediately." Sera said in a kind tone, while critically eying Adam for a few more seconds, before leaving with Emily and Michael for her office.
Sera's office was, well, bland to say the least. It was pearly white, with tinges of blue, like her clothing. On one wall was a bookshelf, although it looked like the book were all about the different rules, they had to maintain in heaven. On her desk was two small frames with pictures inside them, but on was laid down, so no one could see who was in it. The other was a picture of Sera and Emily, in the garden of Eden. Behind the desk was a large window overlooking the entirety of heaven.
"So, what is it you wanted to talk about" Sera asked Emily.
"I wanted to know why exactly Lucifer was kicked from heaven." Emily said with a firm tone.
"We've been over this already, Emily. Lucifer was kicked out because he went behind Gods back and gave Eve the fruit of knowledge and introduced sin to all of humanity."
"Well, Michael told me that he was giving humanity free will, and he was not even forcing it onto humanity, as Eve got to make a choice. Which would not have been the case if she stayed with Adam I might add"?
Sera looked over towards Michael, a glint of anger in her eyes "You told her about Lucifer? Why would you do such a thing, there is no reason for her to know about him and his Falling."
"Sera why are you hiding all this information from me, I already told you that I'm not a child who needs protection all the time" before Emily could say anything else Michael, stepped in the conversation.
Michael might have been the General of the Heavenly Army, but even he knew when to tread carefully, especially around the head Seraphim. "Now you might have been against telling her about Samael, but will you really forbid me of talking about my twin brother?"
"Twin brother or not, because of him, Heaven is at constant danger of being attacked by sinners and Hellborn demons. You of all people should know how dangerous all of them were when they were banished"?
"Wait a moment, all of them? As in multiple people, multiple angels were banished to hell along with Lucifer? Why would you let something like this happen, Sera?"
"I HAD TO, OKAY? Lucifer and the six other deadly sins were too dangerous to be left up here with us, so the upper Echelon came to the agreement to banish them to hell."
Emily was taken aback. Not only did Sera allow the Extermination to continue, but she also had a major role in the banishment of seven Angels, who tried to improve humanity. Michael laid a hand on her shoulder to calm her down, before speaking himself.
"Sera, you as well as I know that Samael and his friends might have been troublemakers, but even they were not deserving of punishment. Not to mention, Samael's daughter, her idea might be the new hope that we need to fight against the massive overpopulation in hell."
"No, I will not allow this idea to grow to fruition, not after last time someone tried to act without Gods approval."
"SO, YOU RATHER WOULD SEE TO THE DESTRUCTION OF COUNTLESS SOULS OVER HELPING THEM!?"
Sera was taken aback. Emily never screamed, and she never looked that angry before. Emily was shaking with anger, and with one strangled scream rushed out of the office. Sera stood up to follow her, but Gabriel held her back.
"No, don't go after her, she needs to sort this out herself."
"But Gabriel, what if she does something she regrets, or even worse, something that would be punishable by banishment?"
"Then this will be her fate, and if you ask me, the people in hell act more like a proper family than the people in heaven."
Meanwhile, Emily was storming through the halls of the Citadel, until she reached her room. The room was a stark contrast to Sera's office. The walls were a deep shade of red, a dark carpet laid out all over the floor. Just because she was a high-ranking angel, didn't mean that she enjoyed the bland color scheme all over the Citadel.
Emily just could not believe that Sera was such a monster to let human souls die without a shot at redemption. Sure, they were bad at some point in their live, but it did not mean that they can change. How could she do such a thing?
No, that was not how it was going to continue; it was time to plan against heavens policies.
