It is a few weeks later, my wound is almost completely healed, and I have better contact with my family. In short, everything is going perfectly.

Preston is taking us to a park right now. "Where are you taking us, Preston?" Levi asked with his arm wrapped around my shoulder as I held onto his hand.

"You'll see." Preston replied.

"Isn't that the ribbon tree." Brody exclaimed. We ended up running ahead up to the tree. "I remember it from when I was a kid," Brody said.

"I remember that from my past too! I've been here with my family before." I said thinking back to that memory.

"There are thousands of ribbons on here, but I don't get it." Sarah said.

"Yeah what's the deal?" Levi asked

"it's great. You tie a ribbon to symbolize important moments in your life like family and friends." Preston explained.

"Cal and I put one up on our anniversary," Hayley said.

"Well now we'll be on the tree together." Preston said holding up a ribbon that had our names on it in our ranger colours.

"Woah Brody, Preston Calvin, Hayley, Sarah, Isabella, Levi." Brody read the names aloud.

"A ranger ribbon!" I said enthusiastically.

"That's a great idea." Calvin said, taking the ribbon from Preston and looking at it. "Well let's put it up." Calvin suggested as we all agreed as Calvin walked towards the tree."How about right here?"Calvin suggested. Before we could attach it to the tree, we heard a car honking as we turned to look at it.

"Huh?" I said, confused.

"Who's that?" Levi asked

"What's going on?"Brody asked as he made his way to the front.

"Let's go, boys." We heard a man say as workers in orange vests got chainsaws out of trucks and walked towards us and the tree.

"Clear out of the way, kids. This tree's coming down to make way for a new building." One of the workers said as he walked up to us.

"They're cutting down the ribbon tree?" Hayley questioned, looking at the tree before looking back at the workers.

"They can't do that can they?" Sarah questioned.

"We won't let them. Unless you wanna put a ribbon on it, you can't touch this tree" Preston stated.

"Oh really?" One of the workers said as he took a few steps towards us. "The boss is here." The worker said as we saw a black car pull up behind all the trucks. A man got out of the car, followed by... Victor and Monty. The three put on sunglasses and buttoned up their jackets as they made their way towards us.

"What's the hold up?" The boss asked, walking towards us and the workers. "I want this tree down, immediately, or i'll use your christmas bonuses to buy a new jet." The boss threatened.

"Sorry, Mr. Tien. but those kids are in the way." The worker warned as the boss looked at him.

"Kids? What kids?" Mr. Tien said, taking off his glasses and walking towards us.

"Preston?" Mr. Tien exclaimed, seeing his son. Preston had a shocked look on his face as he turned around and faced his dad.

"Oh, hi...dad." Preston said nervously.

"That's you dad?" I questioned.

"Don't tell me you have something to do with this. What do you think you're doing?" Mr. Tien asked his son as Hayley motioned something to Calvin and the two of them ran behind the tree.

"Well, we were gonna put a ribbon on..." Preston said but was cut off.

"A ribbon. That would be silly. All these ribbons are gonna be trashed. This tree is coming down today." Mr. Tien said to Preston.

"Hey! You can't do that. These ribbons represent important memories to so many people." Hayley said as we all looked up and saw her and Calvin in the tree.

"Young lady." Mr. Tien said, looking at her. "The skyscraper I'm gonna build here is also important. Important to my bank account." Mr. Tien said to her as I rolled my eyes.

"Selfish business people." I mumbled under my breath.

"What did you say?" Mr. Then asked me.

"Nothing, I said nothing." I said. "Nothing unless you count something you don't want to hear." I muttered behind it.

"Listen up young lady, I am not pleased with your behavior and words." Mr Tien said.

"And so what?" I asked as I let go of Levi's hand and got out from under his arm. "Don't you understand what important moments these ribbons represent? Okay, I may not be from here, but I have been here before I came to live here. I was here with my whole family and we also hung a ribbon. It's one of the only memory's I have here with my family. " I said. "And this is only 1 story. What I mean is for everyone who has hung a ribbon here, there is a story behind it."

"Dad..." Preston said, getting his dad's attention.

"Enough. Wait in the car."Mr. Tien said to Preston.

"But..." Preston said.

"The car. Now!" Mr. Tien yelled. Preston glanced at us before looking down at the ground as Sarah looked at him in disbelief.

"Yes, sir." Preston said as he hesitantly walked towards his dad.

"Preston." Sarah said as he walked away from us. Preston looked back at us as he walked away and Preston's dad stepped closer to us.

"You can leave quietly or my new assistants will remove you." He challenged

"Were not going anywhere," Brody said.

"And like they can do something against us. I mean it's Victor and Monty!" I added

"Fine" Preston's dad turned to Victor and Monty. "You guys wanna be like me someday huh, then show me what you got. Get them off my property" He said.

"Yes sire!" Victor said. Suddenly, the hose that he was holding flew out of his hand and was pointing towards them as water sprayed out, blasting them away. We laughed when we realized it was Preston using his magic.

"I don't have time for this nonsense." Mr. Tien said as I finished laughing. Mr. Tien turned around and got on my face as Levi wrapped his arm around my waist and held me back. "Mark my words, this tree's gonna be cut down today." He said to us as he turned around and walked away. "Enough with the magic tricks." Mr. Tien said something to Preston and he quickly made his way to the car. Preston looked at us before getting in the car.

"How can his dad be so cold?" Hayley asked us as we turned and looked at Hayley and Calvin."We have to stop him." Hayley said to us.

"But how?" Calvin asked her."He won't even listen to his own son. Why would he listen to us?" Calvin said to her as she looked down at us.

"Tons of people put those ribbons up. Maybe he'll listen to them." I said, throwing out a suggestion.

"Yea, but how are we gonna find them?" Levi asked me.

"We'll make flyers." I said.

"And put them all over town." Sarah said finishing my sentence excitedly.

"Great idea." Hayley said to us before turning her attention to all of us."You guys go, and we'll stay here and start posting online." Hayley told us as I nodded.

"Come on guys lets get busy." Brody said

"Let's go like the Thunder!" I said smiling before the 4 of us ran off and made the flyers before we had split up into teams.

Levi and I went to the plaza and started handing out flyers. "See you at the ribbon tree." I said, smiling as I gave a flyer to a couple sitting on a bench.

"There's a restaurant just ahead. It'd be a great place to put up our flyers." Levi said as we walked away from the couple. We turned a corner, but saw no restaurant."What? Where's the restaurant?"Levi asked me, genuinely confused.

"I don't know, Levi. The building looks like it's been here a pretty long time."I said to him as I faced him as I walked backwards.

"No way. This was a restaurant. I came here on my last tour. The hot dogs were great." Levi said as I walked next to him.

"Maybe your memory's getting a little rusty, huh? Come on. We got a lot more flyers to put up." I said to him.

"I swear it was right here." Levi said still confused. And then I started to think. 'What if the machine to which Levi was connected had adjusted or even partially deleted his memories. But what would be so important that Madam Odius wanted it?' I thought. "Bella, are you okay?" Levi asked when I woke up from my thoughts.

"Yes, I was just thinking." I said as we headed to another part of the plaza. We put up about 50 more flyers before we ran out. "That's the last one." I said as I taped up the last flyer.

"We should get back to the tree." Levi said as I nodded. We ran all the way back to the tree as we saw Hayley and Calvin hop down from the tree.

"Where is everybody?" I asked Hayley and Calvin as Levi and I walked up to them.

"No one showed up?" Levi asked, looking around.

"Nope." Hayley said to me.

"How could that be?We put up a couple hundred flyers." I said as Sarah and Brody ran up to the four of us.

"Hey, guys. We just ran into Ripcon." Brody said, wincing as he held his arm.

"Are you ok?" I asked him concerned.

"We have to be careful. He sent a monster." Sarah warned us.

"Just what we need right now." Hayley groaned.

"Uh, did you guys put up flyers?" Preston said as he walked up to the tree.

"Yea, but no luck yet." I said.

"How'd it go with your dad?" Calvin asked Preston as the others walked up to us and Preston sat down on one of the tree roots.

"Um...actually, we should just give up on the tree." Preston said to us as we all exclaimed.

"What? Preston, that's your dad talking, not you." Sarah said, putting a comforting hand on his shoulder. Preston sighed as he looked at Sarah and then to the ground.

"Maybe. But my dad's never gonna change his mind." Preston said. "The only person he ever listened to was...my mom." Preston said as he finally looked up at us.

"I can't believe he doesn't understand what makes this tree so special." Levi said, motioning to the tree behind us.

Then we heard chanting coming up the hill as we all looked. "Wow. But others do." Hayley said as people came towards the ribbon tree with signs. They were chanting 'save our tree' and some of them had ribbons in their hands and this even attracted the news.

"They care. They really do care." Preston said as we watched the protestors in awe. We heard a car door open as we all looked and Mr. Tien got out of the car followed by Victor and Monty as the protestors surrounded the tree me and my friends stood in front.

"So, you've found some other troublemakers. I don't care." Mr. Tien said as he walked up to us. "This tree is still coming down." Mr. Tien said as he walked up to us and everyone behind us booed. "I'm very disappointed, Preston. Your friends will have to learn their lesson the hard way." Mr. Tien said to his son. Mr. Tien then turned around and faced his workers. "Cut it down!" Mr. Tien commanded.

"But boss, look at all these people. Maybe those kids are right." The head worker said as Mr. Tien puffed.

"Give me that saw!" Mr. Tien yelled, taking the chainsaw and walking up to us. "I'll cut it down myself." Mr. Tien said as Preston stopped him.

"No dad, you can't do this."Preston said, getting in the way.

"Preston, get out of my way this instant." Mr. Tien said, visibly mad.

"No dad, I won't." Preston said.

"All these people came here because this tree isn't just a part of the city. It's a part of their lives." I said as I walked up to Preston's side.

"This is absurd. If it isn't me, it's gonna be someone else who chops it down. That's progress, son. You can't save every tree." Mr. Tien said to Preston.

"I understand, dad. But we have to save this tree." Preston said as a blue ribbon blew off the tree and landed on Mr. Tien. Mr. Tien grabbed the ribbon and looked at it.

"January 3rd. Marcus and Ellen Tien. Love their new son...Preston." Mr. Tien said as he looked at his son.

"That's...that's you and mom." Preston said as he looked at the ribbon.

Mr. Tien looked at Preston as his eyes started to water. "Oh, my. I had forgotten. We tied this ribbon on the way home from the hospital after you were born. I must have buried a lot of memories when...when we lost your mom. I should have listened to you, son. You have so much of your mom in you. I've always admired that." Mr. Tien said as Preston pulled him in for a hug. "I love you, son."Mr. Tien said, hugging Preston.

"I love you, too, dad." Preston said.

"You did it Preston." Hayley said.

"No, we did it." Preston corrected.

I felt Levi put his arms around my waist from behind and kiss my cheek. "All thanks to you. If you hadn't come up with the idea, all the people wouldn't have been here." he said.

"I just gave an idea, we all distributed the flyers." I said as I took his hands that rested on my stomach. Then fire bolts landed and exploded in front of us. We all stayed put as everyone else screamed and scattered to get to safety.

"What is happening?" Mr. Tien exclaimed as all seven of us ran we all went to fight off the Kudabots unmorphed meanwhile Trapsaw wandering around complaining about a trap he set up because no one was falling for it because of the tree and luckily Preston's dad was standing in front of the tree. Trapsaw was about to cut it down when Preston kicked Trapsaw away and he and the rest of us got into a fighting stance.

"Ugh I'm out of here!" Trapsaw said running away.

"You're not getting away that easy." Brody said we all chased after Trapsaw except Preston who stayed behind and then caught up a little later. We finally caught up with Trapsaw. "Surprise!" Brody said.

"Uh any last words rangers?" Trapsaw challenged.

"i've got 3! It's morphin time! Power Stars" Brody exclaimed as we got out Power Stars and Morphers.

"Lock-in! Ready! Ninja Spin!" We said as we morphed into Power Rangers. "Ninja Rangers fear no danger!" We all said taking our final stances.

"I'll cut you down to size," the monster said as the kudabots charged at us.

"let's do this." I said. Preston and Levi went after the monster as the rest of us fought off the Kudabots. A small group of Kudabots went after me as I threw a hit at one and kicked away another until 3 or 4 started to fire laser beams at me. So I ducked and deflected away from the attack as a laser beam hit one of the kudabots knocking it down. I then kicked away some of the weapons out of their hands and knocked down a couple of kudabots. I used my telekinesis to change the aiming of their weapons making them hit each other. After a while, I regrouped with everyone as we stood off from the remaining amount of Kudabots and Trapsaw.

"Kudabots help me up, now where were we." Trapsaw said.

"Let's finish that chainsaw chump and his friends." Preston's said as we all got our battle morphers out on arrow mode

"Battle Morpher hyper mode hyper arrow blast" Brody said.

"Rock Storm Blast" Levi said

"Final attack!" we all sent a blast towards all the Kudabots and Trapsaw destroying all the remaining Kudabots and Trapsaw. A few moments later a purple beam shot down to where Trapsaw exploded making him 30ft.

"We've got trouble." Brody said.

"big trouble." Calvin added as Trapsaw started to trash the city a bit.

Zord stars!" Brody said as we all ran our finger down the blade.

"Lock-in, Activate, Ninja Spin!" we all said summoning our Zords.

"Robo Red Zord!" Brody exclaimed.

"Dragon Zord!" Preston exclaimed.

"Nitro Zord!" Calvin exclaimed.

"Kodiac Zord!" Hayley exclaimed.

"Zoom Zord!" Sarah exclaimed.

"Hawkeye Zord!" I exclaimed.

"Ninja Steel Megazord combine." Brody said making our Zords combine. "Ninja Steel Megazord ready." Brody said once the Megazord was formed.

"Bull Rider Megazord combine! Ninja Spin!" Levi said. "Bull Rider Megazord ready." Levi said once the Bull Rider Megazord was formed.

"Ninja Master mode! Ninja Spin!" we all said summoning the master mode. "Ninja Master mode ready!"

I'm defiantly ready," Preston said

"lets pop this weasel" I said. The Megazord started to fight off Trapsaw. It threw a couple of hits before Trapsaw threw a hit knocking the Megazord away.

"let me handle this" Brody said as the Robo Red zord detached and ran around Trapsaw a couple of times and then reattached to the Megazord "Let's shut his trap."

"Ready!" Sarah Calvin and I said.

"Ready!" Hayley Preston and Levi said.

"Ninja Master Blade ... activate! Ninja Spin," Brody said activating the master blade.

"Ninja Steel Megazord Master Slash final attack." we sent a blast towards the monster knocking it down and getting destroyed.

"Show's over! Ninjas win." Brody exclaimed as we defeated Trapsaw in our Megazord. We all cheered as we hopped out and demorphed.

"Come on. We should get to the ribbon tree." I suggested as we all ran back to the park to see Mr. Tien and a sign that said 'Ribbon Tree Park'.

"So what do you think, son? Do you like it?" Mr. Tien asked Preston as Calvin finished up the measurements.

"Ribbon Tree Park." Preston said, reading the sign.

"I've dedicated it to the city, so the tree will be here for everyone to enjoy. For a long, long time."Mr. Tien said to him."Your mother would have been proud." Mr. Tien said, putting a hand on Preston's shoulder.

"She would have been proud of both of us, dad." Preston told his father. Mr. Tien and Preston walked back to the ribbon tree as the rest of us finished the sign."Uh, hey. I'll see you guys back at school." Preston said to us as he walked towards the ribbon tree.

"Ok." Hayley said.

"Cya later." I said as we all walked away.

"Gee, I wonder what happened to that monster's trap?" Sarah wondered as we walked away. We walked down the hill towards the parking lot. "wow, who knew a dad could go from being so cold to being so cool?" Sarah asked us as I walked with Levi, holding hands. We all stopped as a guy walked up to us.

"Brody?" The guy asked.

"yeah, that's my name. Do I know you?" Brody asked.

"Do you know me?" The guy said "I'm Aiden." He said. Brody dropped the shovel he was holding and Aiden and Brody hugged.

"Bella, who is that?" Levi asked.

"That's Aiden. He is Brody's brother and one of my best friends since 10 years ago." I replied.

"Isabella?" Aiden asked as they pulled away and he looked at me. I nodded and hugged him.

"I missed you." I whispered. "Where were you? I've been looking for you for years!" I said as we pulled away.

"It's a long story." Aiden said.
