Hey there everyone here is CH.13, hope you enjoy it. I have a question to all of you readers, should Velvette have a more bitchy personality, or she be more a little bit kinder than in the show? Please give your suggestions in the comments.

Velvette finally reached the Hazbin Hotel. In order for her to avoid being spotted, she just sprinted all the way, dodging the main streets where most of the TV screens were located. The sprint left her drained, which confused her, as she regularly went to jog. She did not get her body by just sitting around on the phone all day after all.

Vel approached the cast iron gate, shield in her hand, when somebody tapped her on the shoulder. Annoyed she turned around, only to yelp and jump away from the figure which tapped her. This mysterious person was non other than Lucifer, The Fallen Angel, The Sin of Pride and ultimately the King of Hell. The only thing Velvette was able to do in her shock, was to bow to her superior.

"It is an honor to be meeting you, Mr. Morningstar!" She droned out, trying to restart her brain.

Confused, Lucifer replied "Thank you, although I might have the feeling, I have never met you before, Young Miss. Would you please tell me what you are doing at the gate of my daughters hotel?"

This seemed to help her brain rebooting, as she now remembered the heist and the prototype in her hands. She quickly gathered her thoughts, before continuing on with the conversation.

"Sorry, my name is Velvette, and you see, Charlie was trying to Convince the Overlord council with her idea to fight against the Exterminators, which seemed to work pretty well, as Miss Carmine" Velvette hissed the name, "and Miss Rosie agreed to help her. I myself went to my colleagues, and after a… let's say heated debate, they allowed me to borrow one of their inventions in order to assist your daughter" Velvette smiled, hoping that Lucifer would not find out about her lie.

"Well, if you are here to help my daughter, then please come in. Ohh, do be careful, as I think to remember that the bellhop here seems to hold a grudge at one of your acquaintances." Lucifer said, opening the gate with a flick of his hands.

Lucifer and Velvette walked up to the hotel, where they were greeted by a distraught Vaggie. Velvette noticed that she had some golden liquid stuck to her hands, which she realized, was Angels blood. This was weird, as it did not seem like it was her blood, and she could not recall any Fallen Angels besides her and Lucifer.

"Mister Lucifer, thank you for coming so quickly! We have a major problem, and Charlie can't get herself together to deal with it." Vaggie started before noticing Velvette. She quickly pulled out her spear, pointing it towards her. "What do you want, Vel? We've got enough shit to deal with, and a Vee will not help in this situation."

Lucifer positioned himself between the spear and Vel and spoke up "Don't worry Vagatha, Miss Velvette told me that she has brought you a present that will help greatly with the Extermination."

Velvette pulled out the device and showed it to Vaggie. "It is a shield to protect against the Angels. It will work with the blood of any given angel, although I do not know how to install it, you should get your little serpentine loser and the bimbos from the Ballet bitch to reverse engineer it for your needs."

Vaggie inspected the device before putting it away, not knowing anything about technology. She let the both of them into the main Hub of the hotel, and quickly went off to the side, in order to get Charlie from her room. In the meantime, Lucifer just looked around the main Hub, before looking straight at Vel.

"Why did you lie?" was all he asked, as a cold sweat ran down Velvettes back.

When Velvette turned towards Lucifer, she could see him studying her with a critical eye. She was thinking about making up another lie, alas, if the King of hell figured out the first lie, there was no way for her to make another one.

"How did you know I lied?" was all that Velvette asked, hoping to distract Lucifer away from an answer.

"You forget that I am an angel, an archangel no less. One of my many gifts from that cursed man up above" Lucifer explained, pointing up at mentioning God. "So? Why did you lie?" he asked once again.

"The fuck you mean why did you lie? I do not need to defend my actions!" Velvette threw back at Lucifer.

"Well, you are right about that. However just so you know, it is easier to tackle problems with friends and family, instead of dealing with them on your own." Lucifer said, and he turned towards Vaggie, who had Charlie with her clearly in distraught.

While they talked Velvette took a moment to reflect on Lucifers words. She actually had no idea why she lied about the meeting with the Vees, as nobody would care if she betrayed them. Heck, they would actually welcome her with open arms if she challenged Vox and Val like that.

The next problem that rose in her mind was the fact, that she could not figure out what Lucifer meant when he talked about her "problems". Since she could remember, she always relied only on herself, and that's what mattered the most. The personal gain. Why should she share the power with friends, if she could have all of it herself.

But was that what she really wanted? It was her lifelong goal to be a prominent Influencer, and the best designer in the world, but these goals changed in Hell. Now she only needed power, everything else was secondary. While she was still one of the best designers in all of hell, she focused more on gaining power, which led to her allying with Vox, in order to spread her influence.

Her thought process stopped when she felt the room heat up. She looked up to the source of the heat and froze in fear. She saw Lucifer, unleashing his full anger, his horns fully grown out, a wicked flame dancing violently above his head. His wings were out, which seemed to make him even more frightening than before.

Velvette just scrambled away from this Demonic being, pressing herself against the door. She could not look away, in fear of this thing to tear her apart if she looked away. Her heart was pounding like crazy, as she sat against the door, unable to do anything. She was almost too afraid to breath, as if she would pull Lucifers attention towards her.

She always believed that Overlords were powerful, but compared to the Demon King, her power was nothing. She was a hundred percent sure that if Lucifer ever was pissed off at her, she would rather kill herself before facing him. As quick as this outburst started, it disappeared again, with the demon King back in control.

Velvette released a breath that she did not know she held, and in doing so, gained the attention of the residents and Lucifer. They looked at her strangely, as if she was the weird one for panicking in presence of this menacing aura. She shakily got up, still wide eyed at the Sin of Pride.

"Okay, what the FUCK was that shit?!" Velvette shouted, not wanting to get closer to Lucifer.

"I am so sorry Miss Velvette, I just have received some rather troubling news from my sweet Charlie over there. I hope that I did not scare you too much, but alas, I urgently have to leave, and set up a meeting." Lucifer excused himself and left the hotel in a rush.

"I'm sorry Velvette, but we just had a rather huge incident. If you want, you can leave now." Charlie said, helping her up.

"Don't worry, just don't fucking try to scare me to death like that again. So, what shit did go down anyways for the king of Hell to lose his composure like that?" Velvette asked annoyed.

Vaggie and Charlie looked at one another for a moment before excusing themselves. Vel was getting a little impatient, as she hated not knowing valuable information. What kind of event could happen to warrant so much secrecy, but whatever it was, she needed to know.

Charlie and Vaggie came back, and Charlie began to talk. "Velvette, Vaggie and I talked about this secret, and if you want to know, you cannot tell anyone else."

"I understand, so are you going to show me now?" Velvette said, trying to walk past Charlie, only to be stopped.

"No, I won't show or tell you anything unless I can ensure the safety of the person that this secret revolves around." Charlie said, eyes turning red.

"The fuck you want, my soul? Then if so, you can go fuck yourself right now, as I'm not stupid enough to trade that!" Velvette shot back.

"If you really want to know, then all I ask for is that you will not talk about this to ANYONE, especially not to the other Vees." Charlie reasoned.

Velvette weighted her options. A vow to secrecy is rather good alternative to completely selling her soul, and whatever the secret was, if it pissed of the Sin of Pride himself, then it had to be a major secret. Deciding it was worth the risk, she held out her hand towards Charlie "Okay, we've got a deal."

Charlie took Velvettes hand, and power started swirling around the both of them. Velvette thought nothing of it at first, but the longer they took for the deal to be sealed, the more she felt the drain on her. Charlie's power was almost drowning her, and she felt as if her body was about to be torn apart. Until suddenly it all stopped. Velvette just steadied herself, almost falling over.

Velvette was just reminded that even the "sweet" Princess of Hell is way more powerful than the Overlords, and to her it was a miracle that she and Lucifer gave so much leeway in their dealings. If they wanted, they could just enslave all the sinners and give a tribute to the Angels on Extermination Day.

"Okay, now we can show you what happened." Charlie said leading all of them down the hall.
