Hi there creativity struck again with this chapter! Just a quick preview of this chapter, this plays out right after Lucifer finds out about Emily! So this happend acouple of days before the more recent chapters!

Lucifer was pissed. No, scratch that, he was furious. He was okay with being banned from heaven; even thought he had good intentions for humanity. He knew he fucked up and was ready to take the blame for his actions. Back then he was angry that not only him. But also, the Angels who stood with him were banned by the Seraphim, as they only defended his actions, and did not partake in them.

While it was quiet for a really long tome after that, he got annoyed once again when Charlie introduced Vaggie to him. He played the encounter down to not make Vaggie uncomfortable, but he still retained his angelic powers, which also included sensing when he was in the presence of another angel. Back then, he did not question why Vaggie had fallen, but now he knew this was an error.

Now with another Angel being banned from heaven, a Seraphim no less, he needed answers, and he needed them fast. He was currently up in the air flying towards the Heaven Embassy. As the ruler of hell, he did not have to call a meeting months in advance, instead he could call an emergency meeting with any high-ranking Angel he pleased.

When he arrived at the Embassy, he was surprised to see that the secretary was not only awake, but also looked like they had seen an otherworldly being. Lucifer walked up to him, and before he could ask the Imp to give him the Summoning scroll for emergency summonings, the imp spoke up.

"Ahh, Sire, your timing is most opportune! I was about to send a messenger to let you know that an Angel is waiting for you!" He said, a slight shudder going through him when he said Angel.

This confused Lucifer, as Heaven normally only contacted him after an Extermination to inform him on their death tally (which he will probably abolish soon), or when there was a problem which required his assistance, which was not used in almost 1800 years.

Suspicious of this sudden call for him he entered the meeting room. It was dark as always when not in use, but he could sense that there was a powerful presence in the head chair. From the power he could feel, it definitely was not a lesser Angel like Adam, no. This being in the room with him rivaled in power with him, and there are only a few Angels who were capable of such a feat: The Archangel.

"Ohh, it's one of you, who do I have the pleasure to speak with? Is it you, Uriel, to gloat about me being sent here to watch over the sinners? Well, you certainly have taken your time then." Lucifer stated, crossing his arms and narrowing his eyes at the figure sitting in the chair.

"You do know Samael, that we never wanted you to leave heaven, right? Our dear sister has cried for days when you were banished, so you better don't jump to conclusions too quick, else you might invoke certain people's wrath." The Archangel spoke evenly, but Lucifer knew who it was by then.

"Okay, so I'm speaking with you Gabriel. Please tell me, will another person join this meeting, or will you try to hold it and fall asleep halfway in?" Lucifer asked with a mock grin.

The lights turned on to reveal the sleep-deprived Messenger Angel sitting in the chair at the end of the table. Gabriel looks seconds away from falling asleep, dark circles under his rapidly blinking eyes, trying to adjust to the sudden light influx of the room. By his side, a mug of what appeared to be coffee, was placed on the table, while his signature lantern was on the floor on his left.

"You can be so cruel Samael, you know that?" Gabriel takes a sip from his mug, then immediately spits it out again. "You call this stuff coffee down here? How do you even wake up, I know for a fact that you are not a morning person." He accused.

"You get used to it after 2000 years living down here, you know?" Lucifer said partly annoyed at Gabriels presence, partly amused because of his reaction. "And as for my comment, I know perfectly well that none of you decided to banish to hell, but I cannot ignore the fact that none even opposed this decision."

The lantern beside Gabriel started to glow a brilliant white, and Lucifer had to shield his eyes. He forgot how annoying this thing could be when looking at it. When the light faded, a second figure was standing beside Gabriel, clad in Angelic armor. The warrior had sword sheathed on his left side, and on his back was a round shield and Angelic spear. He took off his helmet, and Lucifer was immediately on edge.

"To what do I own the pleasure to host you, brother" Lucifer asked Michael, who just stepped up to the table next to Gabriel.

"It is good to see you too, brother, but if you could, let us all stay civil here for now, there is much you need to know about recent developments up in heaven" Michael said trying to placate his twin brother.

"Okay, because I have several questions about certain events happening directly under my nose." Lucifer started. "First of all, since when did Archangels or Seraphim give lesser Angels the ability to banish one of their own?" he asked.

"We did not give them such abilities." Gabriel started but was quickly interrupted by Lucifer.

The Sin of Pride held out his right arm and summoned a blue flame. Michael put a hand on his sword, hoping it would not come to blows with his brother, but he relaxed when the flame parted to show a woman with Samael's daughter; Vaggie. The scene then changed to a prior Extermination Day, when Vaggie was brutally maimed and left to die by another Angel.

"This is Vagatha, or Vaggie, as she likes to say. She was left to die by Adam, who is still only a lesser angel last time I checked. This tells me one of two things: Either the Seraphim gave Adam the right to banish other Angels, or they do not know of what is happening on Extermination Day." Lucifer said, extinguishing the flame with another hand motion.

Gabriel and Michael stared at Lucifer with surprise clearly written all over their faces, but Michael recovers first. "I did not know that Adam had the ability to banish other people to hell, I swear upon my duties Samael." He said, clearly not liking this turn of events.

"Samael, while this is most troubling, we did not come to discuss this Angels fate. We came to warn you about the next Extermination. Sera is plotting with Adam to attack the Hotel of your daughter for trying to defy their rules." Gabriel said, also shook by Adams ruthlessness.

"Oh, don't worry, I will get to that soon. But first I have to ask, what in fathers name were you idiots thinking up there when you decided to ban not only another Angel, but a Seraphim no less?" He asked angrily.

Gabriel and Michael looked at each other for a second, but the look they shared told Lucifer all he needed to know. Gabriel was reaching for his cup, when he quickly pulled back his hand, as a fireball blasted the cup of coffee apart. He looked up to see Lucifer, all six wings out behind him, horns protruding from his head and pupilless eyes fixated on both Archangel in front of him.

"WHAT DID YOU DO? WHY DID YOU BANISH HER?" He screamed as he hurled another fireball directly at Gabriel.

The Messenger Angel dived out of the way, which proved unnecessary, as Michael stepped in the line of the fireball, blocking it with his shield. He looked back at Lucifer with a serious gaze, as he readied his sword. Lucifer held his arm out to the right, and when he pulled it back, a flaming sword materialized in his hand. With his weapon he charged straight at the Commander of the Heavenly Host.

Lucifer plunged the sword straight at Michael, who dodged to the left. This turned out to be a bad idea, as Lucifers clawed came up to punch him in the side. Michael was thrown back in the wall, leaving a large indent in the wall, although he looks like he barely felt the blow. He quickly pulled up the shield again, as the King of Hell drove a vicious strike right down on him.

In one fluid motion, he threw his shield to his side, unbalancing Lucifer for a moment which was all he needed. Sprouting his own Angelic wings, he shoulder-checked into Lucifer, flying with him a few seconds before tossing him into the floor, creating a small crater in the floor and throwing up loads of dust, which clouded his vision.

"Samael, please listen to me, you already know that we are the reason young Emily was banished but-" He did not get to explain himself as Michael had to dodge a barrage of fireballs, which was fired from within the dust cloud.

When the dust cleared, Lucifer was standing with his sword clasped in both his hands, surrounded by 7 white balls of fire. Michael was slightly impressed with the power Lucifer has accumulated over his time he reigned over Hell. With a small prayer, He then summoned an aegis shield, just in time too, as Lucifer pointed at him, and the fireballs shot straight towards him.

The explosion shook the entire room, smoke occluded the vision of all occupants, and for a moment everything was silent. When the smoke cleared, Lucifer was breathing heavily, but to his surprise, his opponent was still standing. Michael was kneeling on one knee, shield in front of him, a dome slowly receding back into his shield.

"Brother please listen to me! We have banished young Emily, yes, but we had a very good reason for this action." Michael tried to talk to Lucifer, who once again interrupted him.

"Oh, and what would that reason be, brother? Do you now have to blindly follow every order shoved upon you, otherwise you are unfit to be an angel? If that is the case, than thank you father that you banished me long before!" Lucifer spat back, readying another fireball.

"No, if we would not have banished her she would not have seen the end of the month!" Michael retorted.

"Wait, what?" Lucifers concentration faltered, and the fireball fizzled out in his hand. "Tell me what is happening up there. NOW!" he bellowed the last word.

And so, Michael and Gabriel who hid behind the chair during the whole fight, recounted their tale of what happened during the last few days. From Emily defying Sera's command to Michael and Gabriel helping Emily contact Charlie, to her being imprisoned and sentenced to death by Adam's hand after the Extermination.

Lucifer fell back in one of the chairs in the meeting room. He could not believe what happened to Heaven. Bac when he was not banished, there was no need for secrets of such a large scale, and definitely no need for such a strict set of rules even a Seraphim cannot follow.

"What happened since I was gone? Father is strict I know, but this sounds like he went way overboard with the rules" Lucifer said exasperated, still not really comprehending these new rules.

"That's just it, we also do not know who implemented such rules, and when we went to confront him about these rules, we could not find him anywhere. What's even worse is the fact that there is no trace of where he could have gone." Gabriel replied.

"Now you see why we banished Emily. She is too pure of heart to be killed in cold blood, and she just wanted to help the sinners. In hell, she can take a much more direct approach to help them by assisting your daughter with her hotel." Michael finished.

Lucifer sighed loudly before continuing "Okay, I will mount defenses in order to repel Sera's attack, let's just hope that the sins are on board with this. If you need any help, please let me know."

Gabriel gave Lucifer a quizzical look "I thought you hated father for banishing you here?"

"Don't worry, I'm still pissed about that, but not even the old man deserves such a fate. Besides" Lucifer took a picture out of his chest pocket. "He is the reason that Charlie exists, so there is one thing he has done right."

Gabriel and Michael rose from their chair, as did Lucifer. The three of them bowed to each then, before Michael spoke "Samael, thank you for attending this meeting, and I wish upon you prosperity for the future. And I beg of you, please take care of Emily as if she were your own."

"Don't worry about her, brother. I will protect as if she was my own daughter, and should someone ever harm her, may father have mercy upon him, as I will not." Lucifer replied seriously.

With these last words, Lucifer left the room, while Gabriel and Michael used Gabriels lantern to get back to heaven.
