Chapter 54

You know, Ed. The reason why we in the legions are taught to use so many weapons is so that we are versatile in combat and in this way, we can overcome any difficulties that appear. —

Roland to Edzard while they were fishing in a lake near Bruma.

Slowly opening their eyes, Xenovia, Kiba, Tomoe, Liban, Beluga, and Bafeel felt the blackness they had been in before dissipating. When they were finally able to see correctly, they entered a state of mild confusion, for they saw that they were not in the same place where they had previously been.

"Where we are?" Xenovia asked with confusion as she slowly got up and looked around her.

"Don't know." Kiba replied as he approached his peerage companion.

"Wherever we are, we must find a way to return to the rest." Beluga said as he went to help his sister.

"Thank you, Nii-sama." Bafeel said as she took the hand that her older brother extended to her.

"Sairaorg-sama's knight is right. We cannot stay still. If we are here, it is possible that the rest of our companions are somewhere close to our position." Tomoe said as she started looking at the place.

The place where they appeared was strange as it didn't look like the dungeon where they had been at all, since this place looked like a ruined gothic cathedral to begin with or at least the right half, since the left half seemed to be in perfect condition.

"The architecture of this place is weird. It is almost as if they were two facets of the same church." Liban said as he began to walk towards the corridor in front of him. The rest of the Knights present looked at each other and without thinking twice they walked and followed Liban.

The knights of the four peerages were walking for several minutes, passing through several naves of the church, until they finally ended up reaching the presbytery of the cathedral and what they saw there completely chilled their blood. There, in front of them, were seated two beings that obviously represented two angels. Both women's clothing was full armor, which had wing designs on the knee pads, shoulder pads, and boots. Also, the armors had engravings all over the armor. Their faces were impossible to see thanks to the fact that they wore a kind of hood that matched a mask, which completely hid their faces, making only darkness visible. Although the armors were identical, they differed in color, with the one on the right wearing black armor with a black tunic under it, while the left one wore silver armor so polished it looked like a mirror, while also wearing a white tunic under armor.

"It seems that we have encountered a formidable enemy." Xenovia said with concern as she felt sweat break out on her forehead. "Do you think this is the boss of this dungeon?"

"It seems so, since they have a very strong aura and presence." Kiba commented, who was also sweating, because he could feel the power of those people and to his complete surprise, the individual power of each one tripled the power of each one of them.

After those little words, both devils summoned their respective weapons and took a defensive position. The rest of the devils were also amazed by their enemy's power, but even so, just like Kiba and Xenovia, they also summoned their weapons. Although not only that, since Beluga also summoned his horse, which could not be summoned in the dungeon, since it was one of the restrictions of the rating game, but it seemed that that did not apply here. Beluga's horse was a pale horse, which came from Cocytus itself, that is, the deepest place in the underworld. This horse was fast and very difficult to ride, devilstrating Beluga's skill as a rider.

In response to that challenge, the two angels, who had been sitting looking at them from a pillar of the cathedral, rose and invoked four pairs of wings, which were made of fire, white for the one on the left and black for the one on the other. While they summoned their wings, they both summoned swords. The swords followed the same themes as the armor, that is, they were reactively black and white weapons, decorated with wings on the guards' hawks. After this, both angels took flight and prepared to start the battle.

The devils that watched them from the ground spread their wings and rushed forward to fight their enemies.

At the same time as the knights of the four peerages began their fight against the two angels, the «Rooks» of the four peerages, along with Ruruko, also stood up and realized that they were not in the dungeon but seemed to be in the interior of a gothic style castle, whose passageways were dark or rather had very little light.

"Where will we be?" Ruruko asked as she and the rest of the devils walked down the last corridor they had left to check, since they had previously split up to search all the corridors, but they had all ended up in empty rooms, so now they were all walking down the largest corridor they had found.

"I don't know, but it smells like vampires." Koneko said as she finished using her nose to recognize any scent in the place. The young Nekomata had her guard up, since she didn't know that she could pass by at any moment.

"If Koneko-chan is right, then we're in trouble." Tsubasa pointed out, gaining everyone's curiosity, except for Ruruko and Koneko.

"What do you mean?" asked Ladora approaching Tsubasa.

"I feel like something else is going on here." Tsubasa replied, earning a nod from Koneko and Ruruko.

For their part, Ladora and Gandoma only looked curiously at their companions, but said nothing more.

After that little conversation, the five devils kept advancing silently until they reached a pair of double doors, which were made of wood and had a beautiful finish as well as a large relief.

As they all stopped in front of the door, they looked at each other and after nodding, Gandoma and Ladora opened the doors, allowing them to see inside. The interior of the room was spacious, with a dull gray polished ceramic floor, the walls were painted in a dark purple tone, allowing the room to have little light. The entire place was surrounded by furniture, ranging from bookcases to shelves lined with silverware.

"It seems to be her, right?" Gandoma asked as his eyes fixed on the silhouette that she was sitting on a black wooden throne. The silhouette was obviously that of a woman, as she had large breasts. The clothing of this woman was that of a garnet-colored blouse, which was below a black leather bodice, which only increased the size of the woman's breasts. In her arms, acting as her protection were leather bracers, along with black leather gloves with metal claws on the fingers. The lower part of the woman's body was not covered by a skirt, but rather by a pair of leather pants along with black boots, the toes of which were made of steel. A black belt kept her pants in her place, in addition, to also keep a black cloth there, which served as a skirt. This woman's face was hidden by a hood, which only showed total darkness.

The woman was sitting placidly in the chair, drinking a glass of a liquid so red that no one understood what it contained, well, all except one, since Koneko could distinguish what it was from the smell.

"It smells like blood." Koneko said as she narrowed her eyes.

"What, Koneko-chan?" Ruruko asked looking at the nekomata.

"What she is drinking is blood."

"So, it's about a vampire." Gandoma said looking at the woman.

"Yes, we can confirm it."

After Tsubasa's words, the woman got up from her throne and began to walk towards them. As she did so, she extended both hands, causing a purple glow to emerge from them, which began to spread around the woman's surroundings. When the woman stopped, her hands began to be surrounded by darkness, showing that she was prepared for the fight.

"Looks like we're about to start now." Tsubasa said as she took a fighting stance.

Koneko and the rest did not respond immediately, instead preparing in their own way. The only one who took out an item, unlike the rest, was Koneko, who took out a pair of black gauntlets which had been a request from her king to Edzard. Those gauntlets had the ability to empower the impacts of Koneko's strikes with lightning. So, donning her gauntlets, the young nekoshou took an attack stance, ready to begin fighting her enemy.

Along with their fellow devils, all the «Bishops» from the assembled peerages were climbing the endless stairs that they had found after waking up in an unknown room. The devils' footsteps were cautious, as the experience they had gained from fighting in the dungeon had gotten on their nerves, so they had almost become paranoid at any sound they heard.

"W-what do you think is on top?" Gasper asked with a bit of fear as his eyes moved from side to side.

"One of the bosses in the dungeon." Ravel answered, who had figured out what had happened. And it is that, the young Phenex had managed to deduce that they had been teleported to separate spaces and from the way they had been grouped, it was possible that the rest of the devils had also been grouped by their pieces.

"That is worrisome." Reya said as she kept her guard up.

"Yes, since teleportation has unbalanced the strategy, we had." Momo pointed out, as she was worried about what she would face.

"You're right." Misteeta said as he looked at the endless number of stairs. "They have disrupted the entire attack structure, leaving only those of us who are Bishops, who excel at long-range attacks, without any partner to fight melee."

The words of the young devil contained truth, since the original plan was to contain the enemy with the melee fighters who had the highest resistance, who would act as tanks, the damage DPS would be the knights and some bishops, since a part of them would act as support and healing. Next up were the kings, who would act depending on their ability, be it DPS, Tank, or Support. However, with what happened in the previous room, that whole plan went to hell, so they would have to come up with something soon, otherwise they would be eliminated.

As they kept walking, they finally reached the top of the stairs and there they realized that they were in a tower.

"It looks like it's a tower." Coriana said as she moved to the edge of the platform. In doing so, the devil felt a bit dizzy, as she realized that she could not see the bottom. So, taking steps back, she walked back to where the rest of the gathered devils were. When she returned to where they were, she saw her companions stare in amazement and panic ahead. So, looking in that direction, she saw something that made her blood run cold.

There, standing in front of them were two women. Both women had the stereotypical clothing of witches in fantasy games, that is, the black dress, the boots, the cane, and the pointy hat, but other than that, the only thing that differed was their hair, since one had the black hair and the other had white hair. Their faces were hidden by black masks, which had a carved human face.

"Th-this is bad." Ravel said as she felt a great amount of fear, as the two magicians in front of them were by far very powerful, as the amount of magic they unconsciously gave off was incredibly high.

"Yes, it looks like this will be hard." Corelia said as she and Misteeta stepped forward and summoned their magic circles. "But for Sairaorg-sama's honor, we won't lose here."

"They're right, we can't lose." Momo and Reya said taking steps forward, ready to fight their enemies.

Gasper looked at his fellow bishops and, inspired by their courage, he stepped forward, ready to help in the battle. When he took a few steps, he saw Ravel next to him, so, looking at each other, they both nodded and stood next to the other devils.

"Okay, come on!" Ravel yelled defiantly as she prepared to cast a spell.

The four queens were walking along a dirt path, through a small forest, which was full of pine trees. They, like the rest of their fellow devils, had awakened apart from the rest. Realizing that they were separated from the rest, they began to wonder why this was happening. The only answer they could come up with was that they had been separated to face more than one dungeon boss. So, seeing that they couldn't do anything else, they began to check the area, realizing that there was nothing but trees, well, there was a lake, which was next to a large clearing to the north, so, without wasting time, they walked there.

"What do you think is in that place?" asked Kuisha, who was looking at the nearby trees, as they were currently easy prey for an ambush.

"For sure only the boss of this dungeon." Answered Tsubaki, who had her naginata already drawn, since anything could happen right now.

"Ara, ara. If it's like Rias' games, then yes, the boss of this area will be waiting for us at the end of this path." Answered Akeno with a smile, which was a mask to hide what she was feeling, since she was worried about her fellow peers and Rias.

After that little talk, they finally reached the clearing and saw her floating there. The "boss" of this place was obviously a woman, who wore a short black gothic-style dress, the skirt of which reached a few inches above the woman's knee. She had black stockings that reached her thigh, her face was not visible, as she wore a strange black veil, which completely covered her face. On her head, long white hair cascaded down, crowned with a black crown set with amber gems. In addition, as part of her outfit there were pieces of black armor with gold details, these pieces were greaves, bracers, and shoulder pads. In one of the woman's hands was a black metal staff with a red gem on top.

"It looks like it's her." Kuisha said as she pointed a finger at the woman, who kept her gaze fixed on them.

"She smells like a devil-human hybrid." Alivian said after sniffing the environment a bit. "Although she also smells a bit like a dragon. But the scent of her doesn't come directly from her, but from those around her."

The dragon's words caught the attention of Akeno and Tsubaki, who began to suspect that something was going on here. It wasn't until they remembered the words they were told in the meeting prior to this "Rating Game" that they finally understood something of what was happening.

'Don't tell me that…' Akeno thought in a panic, who looked at Tsubaki and saw that her mouth was open in surprise. Seeing the state of her partner, Akeno asked. "Fukukaichou. Do you believe what I think it is?"

Tsubaki looked at Akeno and blinking, she realized that Akeno had come to the same conclusion as her, so she just nodded.

Receiving that confirmation from Tsubaki, Akeno spoke clearly as her hands were covered in lightning. "Kuisha-san, Alivian-san. I recommend that you go with everything from the beginning."

"Why, Akeno-san?" Kuisha asked, as her question was accompanied by Alivian's nod.

"Tsubaki-Fukukaichou and I believe that something is going on behind our backs, and we have a feeling that the enemies we are fighting are very strong, perhaps they are bordering on the level of an Ultimate-class Devil."

Akeno's words confused Kuisha and Alivian, who looked at Tsubaki to see if they could get more information, but to their surprise, the queen of Sona was looking seriously at the woman while a small layer of sweat was present on her forehead. Seeing this, both Kuisha and Alivian understood that they weren't joking, so swallowing hard, they prepared to attack.

'Rias/Sona, I hope you are alright. Because if we have to face her, it is possible that you will have to face "her" or worse, "him.' Akeno and Tsubaki thought in unison as they prepared to fight their enemy.

At the same time as the queens, three of the four kings of the peerages that made up the group that challenged the dungeon were looking at the enemy that they had to defeat to get out of here. The place they were in seemed to be some kind of cathedral, but which not only had the classic religious decorations, but also had some decorations that did not fit with a cathedral, such as stained glass in the shape of an eye surrounded by spearheads.

The enemy that they had to kill dressed in a very strange way, almost seeming that she was wearing the mixture between a nun's outfit with that of a magician, since, although the design of the clothes was that of a nun's habit, the color, and some details like the hood with the cloth mask were what gave the impression that she was not just a nun. In addition, apart from the clothes, the woman in front of them had a silver armor, which consisted of greaves and bracers, which were silver in color so polished that they looked like mirrors. To the surprise of the three girls, their enemy hadn't done anything since they arrived and she was still in the same position in which they had found her, that is, she was praying.

"What do you think we should do?" asked Rias, who was looking at her enemy and didn't know what to do, since the normal thing would be for the "boss" to attack them instantly as soon as she saw them.

"I don't know, but I feel like I've seen this woman before." Sona said, feeling like she had seen this woman before.

Sona's words were met with a shrug from Rias, who, despite feeling that she had seen this woman before as well, decided not to think about it.

"Have you managed to communicate with any of your peerages?" asked Seekvaira, who had a magic circle in her ear, as she was trying to communicate with her peerage.

"No, we have not been able to contact them. So, I'm afraid we're incommunicado." Answered Rias, who along with Sona had already tried to communicate with their servants but had been unable to.

"So, are we alone?" Seekvaira asked as she fixed her gaze on the woman in front of them.

"Yeah. So, we will have to fight with everything, since we do not have extra help." Sona replied, adjusting her glasses.

Rias and Seekvaira nodded and took a few steps forward. After taking three steps, they had to jump back, as several magic circles appeared in front of them, firing various elemental spells. With those first attacks, the battle began.

The footsteps of Issei, Saji, Sairaorg and Regulus resounded throughout the passage they were passing through. The four of them had woken up recently, and after trying to communicate with their companions, they began to advance through the passage, since they did not receive any response. The passageway they were walking through had the appearance of the passageway of a completely collapsed palace, as there were various debris everywhere. The aura that the place emitted was gloomy and heavy, causing the devils' hearts to flutter as fear and worry implanted in their being.

"This place is terrifying." Issei said as he looked all over the place, trying to find any enemies.

"Don't tell me, with each breath I take, I feel that the air is not entering my lungs." Saji commented as he swallowed some saliva.

"It may be, but I feel that there is a strong enemy here." Sairaorg said as he kept his guard up as he felt that an attack could come at any moment.

After those short words, they reached an arch, which led to a room, which was completely dark.

"Looks like it's here." Said Saji as he looked at the room in front of him.

"Yeah. We are ready?" Issei asked as he looked at Saji, Sairaorg and Regulus who all nodded in response.

Seeing that his friends were ready, Issei activated his sacred gear and together with his companions, he entered that room. The instant they stepped foot inside the room, various torches began to light up, allowing them to see what was inside and what they saw caused their bodies to freeze cold as fear sank into their hearts. This was because, there, in front of them, was the "boss" they had to defeat.

The "boss" they had to defeat was a man who wore full plate armor, the color of which was black, decorated with red lines that glowed and changed in intensity to resemble veins carrying blood. The helmet he wore was closed, with a visor in the form of a horizontal line, through which two red lights could be seen, which should be the eyes of their enemy. He was seated on a stone throne, which was on a high platform, which could only be reached by stairs. In his hands, nailed in front of him, was a black greatsword, which had a kind of red line through the entire center of the blade, appearing to be a vein carrying blood. Although the position in which he was sitting, along with his equipment and weapon were threatening, his dangerousness was increased thanks to the fact that all around the dais where the throne was, there were hundreds, no, thousands. of stacked human skulls. When they finished seeing him, the knight looked in their direction and realized their presence. After seeing them, his body was surrounded by a red aura, which began to expand to the base of the platform where the throne was.

"W-w-what's that?" asked Issei as he took a step back.

"Our enemy." Sairaorg said as he struggled to stay on his feet, for his enemy's aura was very strong and caused him something he hadn't felt in a long time... fear, but not a normal fear, but a primal fear of wanting to run because his life was at in complete danger. The atmosphere was such that when he turned his head, he saw that Regulus was trembling, something he had never seen in his pawn.

"H-his aura is terrifying." Said Saji fearfully seeing his enemy.

The atmosphere was heavy, but fortunately for them, the atmosphere calmed down when the man got up from his throne and began to descend, because the moment he set foot on the first step, the aura that surrounded him disappeared in specks of red lights.

The moment they saw their enemy's aura drop; the four devils managed to calm their hearts enough to position themselves together.

"It looks like we will have to go all-out from the start." Issei said as he got ready to fight. "Ready, Draig."

[Anytime, partner. Let's show our power] [Welsh Dragon Balance Breaker]

The moment Draig's voice finished sounding, Issei's body was engulfed by a whirlpool of fire and when it was extinguished, he could be seen using his balance breaker.

"Good. Let's go there!" Saji yelled as he conjured all his Vitra sacred gear.

"Regulus." Sairaorg ordered, not always taking his eyes off the enemy.

"Yes Master." Regulus answered to take off his mask and let it fall to the ground. After that event, the boy's body began to move in a strange and unnatural way, beginning a process of metamorphosis, which ended with Regulus taking the form of a huge golden lion.

"What's that?" Issei and Saji asked in unison in astonishment at seeing the form Regulus had taken on.

"Regulus's true form." Sairaorg replied as he extended his right hand towards the golden lion. "His identity of his is Regulus Nemea, a Longinus level sacred gear. He was originally a battle ax that was attached to a man, who was killed by a group. When I found him, the ax had turned into a lion, which slaughtered all the murderers of the former bearer of it. It was when I saw him, that I decided to join him to my peerage, so I reincarnated him using seven pawn pieces. Unfortunately, his power is unstable when I'm not around, so he can't fight without me by his side. Normally I would let him fight independently, but I'm afraid it won't be possible at this time."

Sairaorg's response caused surprise in Issei and Saji, who couldn't believe what they were hearing, but even so they knew that he was telling the truth, because a second after he said those words, the Bael heir spoke again.

"Regulus!"

"Yeah!"

Following those words, Regulus's body turned into a golden beam of light, which shot towards Sairaorg, completely covering him.

"My lion! King of Nemea! You who have been called Shishiou! Answer my howl and become my armor! Balance Breaker!"

When Sairaorg's shout ended, he was covered in golden armor, which was themed like a lion, with the crest being part of the helmet and a lion face across the chest of the armor.

"Okay, I'm ready! Let's get started!"

"I see. So that happened with that Longinus" Azazel said as he watched what was happening on the screen. "Since I lost track of it a while ago, I was a bit worried about where it might have landed, so knowing it's in good hands puts me at ease a bit. Although, I feel comfortable knowing its whereabouts, for them to keep it a secret is a clear violation of the pact."

The screen through which the leaders of the Kuoh pact watched what was happening had been divided into several parts, allowing them to see all the battles at the same time.

"Yes, it seems that the «Great King Faction» was hiding things." Sirzechs said as he narrowed his eyes. "If they were able to hide something like this, I wonder what else they were hiding."

"We don't know, but we'll have to keep an eye on them." Serafall said in a serious manner as she watched her beloved little sister fight against a disguised Asia. "We knew they wouldn't be easy in this game, but I think they're going a bit too far."

"We knew this would be the case, after all, they're not only using those illusion rings to look like other people, but they're also using high-level equipment, which has been enchanted by Edzard." Odin said as he rubbed his beard as he watched as his former bodyguard and Lavinia's apprentice fought against the bishops of the four peerages, overwhelming most of them with their bombardment type spells. "While the spells woven into the incantations work, they don't seem to suit the beings of this world very well, do they?"

"Yes, according to the results of the analyzes that have been done on the body of the Dagon Champion, we have confirmed that it is possible for us to use enchanted items from the world of Aurbis, but we cannot use their full potential. Although that incompatibility also applies to them, since it is almost impossible for them to use a sacred gear, since their bodies seem to treat them like a poison, which they try to eliminate at all costs." Azazel commented as he recalled the information provided by the study of Norgred's body.

"It seems that the world is always looking for a balance." Michael commented, pointing out the fact that the bodies of beings from both worlds seemed to reject anything that came from the other world. "Although, despite the fact that many things are rejected, the physiognomy of humans from both worlds is so similar that it allows hybrid offspring."

"Yes, Asia-chan is the first known hybrid and from the information that the little amount of DNA we have from her has shown, it seems that she doesn't have any of the restrictions that both types of humans have when they are from pure descent." Azazel commented as he watched as the «Rooks» of the four peerages launched combined attacks at Valerie, who dodged them by turning into a flock of bats, and then appeared above Ladora and launched a powerful blow, which was covered in magic of darkness.

"That's kind of terrifying, but it seems like she didn't have those abilities when she was younger. Why do you think she has manifested that power now?" Sirzechs asked as he watched as the four «Queens» cast various spells at Ingvild, failing miserably as their attacks were blocked by a barrier-type magic circle.

"We don't know, nothing we have can show us anything about this. The only one who can shed light on this is Edzard, and I'm afraid he won't talk about this easily." Michael answered as he put a sad smile on his face.

"Yes, you're right. As much as we are allies, he is not as open with us as we would hope." Azazel pointed out as his gaze now fell on the screen showing the knights fighting Lint and Mittelt. The young swordsmen fought with everything they had, using their weapons to the best of their ability, but that seemed to be in vain. The Grigori leader's gaze narrowed slightly when he saw how Liban used his sacred gear «Gravity Jail», which allowed to increase the gravity of anything unlucky enough to be in his vision, to trap Mittelt, thus creating a chance to beat her. Unfortunately, that didn't work, as Lint quickly intervened to cut off Liban's line of sight using various restoration spells, which were generated from various scrolls each party member possessed. After seeing that, Azazel turned his face and seeing another screen, he spoke again. "The combats that are taking place only show what we feared, they are not ready yet, above all, they."

Sirzechs and Serafall's eyes narrowed slightly, as they understood what Azazel's words meant, since the proof was there in front of their eyes, in the form of the fight between Asia and her sisters. The two girls, along with Seekvaira, were fighting formidably, but no matter how many spells they cast, they couldn't defeat Asia's defense, which hadn't even used an «Extreme Magicka» spell yet, so she hadn't cast yet none of her heavy artillery. In fact, she wasn't using her balance breaker either and yet she could fight against the three of them so well and so easily.

"Looks like some matches are about to end already." Odin said as he pointed to some screens.

BOOMMM!

A huge explosion erupted from the impact of two huge golden-colored explosions, causing the place to shake and making the once-divided cathedral now look the same, that is, full of rubble.

The sound of clashing steel resounded throughout the place, as several battles were taking place at the same time.

"Take this!" Kiba yelled as he summoned several of the dragon knights from him. These knights had the appearance of knights in blue colored armor, which was ornamented and engraved with dragon designs. Said knights were the product of the balance breaker of his second sacred gear, «Blade Blacksmith», which allowed him to create swords with the holy attribute.

Kiba's dragon knights began to move at high speed, trying to overwhelm Lint, who was using her sword to parry the incoming attacks. Up, down, right, left, diagonal, Lint's sword moved from side to side, as the knights were numerous, but that was not enough to defeat her, as she had her skills enhanced by her armor, which enhanced all her combat skills.

'Looks like Ed was right, they're not ready yet.' Lint thought as she moved at high speed and cut down all Kiba's dragon knights. However, after that, she couldn't even breathe, because Beluga, who had summoned a gray horse, appeared in front of her and tried to pierce her chest with a spear. Fortunately, she managed to deflect the attack, allowing her to have an opening so she could land a direct hit on Sairaorg's knight.

Seizing the opportunity, Lint swung her sword and launched a direct attack. However, before the attack hit, Beluga moved back, gaining a bit of distance to prevent the attack from reaching him, but to his misfortune, Lint saw this, so moving her other hand, he created a spear of light and threw it at Beluga. Said attack took the young devil by surprise, so he could not move in time and the attack ended up hitting his abdomen.

"Arghhh." He growled Beluga in pain as he felt her abdomen pierced by the spear. Also, being a devil, the spear of light caused him excruciating pain. A second after the blow, the devil and his horse disappeared in a purple vortex.

[A Knight of Sairaorg Bael has been removed]

The mechanical voice announcing the removal of the defeated devils sounded, drawing the attention of the knights present, thus allowing them to lower their guard. One of the people who was most shocked was Bafeel, as she saw her brother disappear after receiving a spear of light in the abdomen.

"Brother!" Bafeel yelled as she saw her brother disappear. The scene of her brother disappearing in a purple vortex caused the young woman to get angry and try to charge Lint to kill her. However, to her misfortune, this act prevented her from seeing that Mittelt was behind her, so she could not prevent her from stabbing her sword into her back, causing a sharp pain to travel through the young devil's body before that a purple vortex appeared behind her.

'Damn!' Bafeel thought, seeing that she would be removed from the game in such a painful way. Gritting her teeth, the young woman decided to do one last act that would allow her to keep her honor as a knight intact, so she, taking advantage of the moment, decided to strike back at the angel in black. So, she, swinging her sword, launched a quick horizontal slash.

Mittelt, who had been watching as the girl was about to be sucked into the vortex, watched with some astonishment as Bafeel launched one last desperate attack towards her. While the attack wasn't a big deal, it was the timing of her throwing it that caused her to be unable to react very quickly to evade it.

Crack!

The sound of something breaking was present when the blade of Bafeel's sword impacted the mask that protected Mittelt's face, tearing a piece of it off. After that blow, Beluga's sister was absorbed by the vertex, being taken out of the game.

[A Knight of Seekvaira Agares has been removed]

'It seems that even though they don't have the power, they do have the courage to fight to the end.' Mittelt thought as the mask repaired itself almost instantly. An instant later, she heard Lint arrive. So, turning her head, she saw her nod, indicating that they should be done with this soon.

Turning their gaze, both angels looked at their remaining enemies. Tightening their grip on their weapons, Edzard's two lovers disappeared in a burst of speed, appearing in the midst of the four remaining knights. The moment they appeared, their weapons began to resonate against the devils' weapons, forming two battle groups, Lint vs Kiba and Liban, while Mittelt faced Xenovia and Tomoe.

Valerie jumped back as one of the pieces of furniture in her room was thrown against her. The shelf full of books impacted the wall, destroying itself and leaving a small crater at the impact site.

'Ummm…. I never expected Koneko-chan to use my decoration like that.' Valerie thought as she ducked to avoid the blow that Tsubasa tried to land. Despite having dodged Tsubasa's attack, the Dhampir's gaze was fixed on the nekomata, because she had somehow obtained a second tail. How she had obtained it was unknown to Valerie, but she was glad for the young cat.

After dodging said blow, the Dhampir covered her claws with darkness magic and after that, she parried a kick from Ruruko, who had promoted herself to «Queen» at the beginning of the battle. After parrying the blow, Valerie moved her arm and after hitting her in the abdomen, she began to hit her several consecutive blows in a rapid manner. After landing about five hits, the Dhampir was forced to duck, as Koneko attempted to hit her from behind, but luckily for her, that attack missed.

'She's gotten faster since she got that second tail.' thought Valerie, who, after dodging the Nekoshou's attack, grabbed her by the blouse of her uniform and pulling her, spinning her in the air to end up smashing her to the ground. .

Boom!

A large cloud of dust rose the moment the nekomata's small body hit the ground. Although the attack was very strong, Valerie didn't stop there and quickly landed a punch at Koneko, which never landed, as she was forced to break away from the nekomata when Ladora intervened with a punch aimed at the Dhampir's face.

After that attack, the Dhampir ended up moving away from her enemies, who took advantage of the moment to regroup.

"It seems that the battle is at a standstill." Said Tsubasa as she approached the rest of her companions.

"Yeah, no matter what we do, she seems to know how we're going to attack and her reflexes are very high." Ruruko said looking at Valerie.

"Ladora, do you think if you use that you can defeat her?" Gandoma asked.

Ladora nodded, for he understood what Gandoma was asking him to do. So, he crosses both arms over his chest, he prepared to continue the fight.

"Stay away!" Gandoma yelled before taking a great leap.

The other devils and Valerie looked at him in confusion, but still walked away.

ROAARRR!

A second later, Ladora's body was enveloped by a golden aura, which increased in size, until it ended up becoming a giant. When the light was extinguished, Ladora had turned into a medium-sized western dragon whose scales were black in color.

"How did that?" Ruruko asked in surprise upon seeing the lanky devil turn into a dragon.

"Ladora belongs to the Bune clan, a clan that is related to dragons, being able to tame them. However, there are some members that can turn into a dragon." Gandoma replied as he and the rest of the devils watched as Ladora opened his jaws and breathed fire at Valerie.

The Dhampir watched that attack arrive and thinking in a fraction of a second, she managed to figure out how to get the dragon out of combat. So, turning into a flock of bats, she dodged the attack and reformed a few meters from the devil's head.

'It seems that, in destructive power, he is the strongest. However, turning into a dragon was your biggest mistake in this match. Your sheer size just makes you an easy target to attack, and you can't dodge well in small areas like this.' Valerie thought as she reached out her hands and used one of the scrolls Edzard gave her. That scroll created a purple vortex from which emerged a rod, which was a handle. Moving her hands, Valerie took that handle and pulled out a purple vortex weapon. The weapon that emerged was a weapon from Edzard's personal arsenal, which was a large warhammer. The warhammer was… well, a large hammer, which had a rectangular head about eight inches long, four inches wide, and seven inches high. The handle was long and had leather straps rolled up its length to allow easy handling. Already feeling the gun in her hands, Valerie proceeded to whisper a few words. "Aal fin scaldro do fin dov splinter ahst fin haalvut do hin arrows, ahrk crack voder fin weight do hin zahkrii."

The moment the Dhampir finished saying those words, the warhammer was covered in sparks of electricity. When she saw the sparks of electricity through the weapon, she rotated her body three hundred and sixty degrees and using the momentum of that movement, she smashed the hammer into the entire head of the dragon. The blow was so strong that it generated a shock wave so large that it sent the furniture in the room flying, furthermore, it caused the devils that were in the place to have to cover themselves from the shock wave.

Ladora's dragonified body fell unceremoniously to the ground, only to be swallowed by a purple vortex a few seconds later.

[A Tower of Sairaorg Bael has been removed]

The announcement caused those who heard it to be astonished and scared, since they did not expect it to happen so quickly.

"Ladora!" Gandoma yelled with concern when he got over the shock of what had just happened, as his companion received a very strong blow to his head.

"A-amazing." Tsubasa said in astonishment as she saw how a dragon was defeated with a single blow.

However, something happened a second later, as a gasp was heard, drawing the attention of the devils. Koneko and Tsubasa's eyes widened again and quickly turning their heads, they looked towards the place where the scream originated and what they saw scared them a lot, since Ruruko was pierced by a tentacle of darkness. When said tentacle vanished, the young devil was sucked into another purple vortex.

[A pawn of Sona Sitri has been removed]

Hearing those words, Valerie walked a few steps towards the remaining devils, who unconsciously took a step back. The action they took caused the Dhampir to raise an eyebrow in confusion, but a couple of seconds later she managed to understand why they were like this.

'Fear is the mind's greatest killer,' Valerie thought, realizing that they seemed to have lost their fighting spirit seeing that she had eliminated two of their companions so quickly, was it either that or they were still in a state of state of shock to see how she had defeated Ladora. 'Yes, it has to be the last. They are stronger than this.'

And it seemed that she was right, because after thinking that, she saw how they took a step forward and prepared to continue their fight. That caused a smile to appear on her face.

'Oh… this will be entertaining, but if they think they can defeat me, they are sorely mistaken.' Valerie thought as she put a hand to the ring she had on the middle finger of her right hand. 'This will be over in less than a minute.'

BOOOM!

Dozens of explosions filled the sky, caused by the large number of spells flying in all directions as the devils fought Aika and Rossweisse. The battle itself was one of the simplest, like two other battles, since only magic was used and almost nothing else.

Aika simply dodged the attacks launched by the «Bishops» of the four peerages. However, she dodged so nonchalantly that two attacks, which were launched by Ravel and Coriana, managed to get dangerously close to her. The attacks were a ball of fire and a blast of ice, which seemed to take the young magician by surprise, hitting her squarely... or at least that should have happened, but as it had been happening since the start of the battle, the magical attacks were absorbed by a kind of vortex, which appeared every time Aika or Rossweisse were hit by a spell.

"This is not working!" Ravel yelled desperately, seeing that their attacks were rendered useless again.

After Riser's sister yelled, she had to fly back, as Aika appeared before her and tried to engage in hand-to-hand combat. However, the little pure-blood devil managed to avoid getting into a direct confrontation, as she knew that if she fought like that, she would lose resoundingly. This was because their enemies were more than capable of fighting not only with magic but could also use weapons and fight bare-handed and their abilities had been shown when she and the rest of the devils watched as the other "boss" knocked out Misteeta with a well-placed four-punch combination.

"This is bad. No matter how we do it, none of our spells seem to influence them. Furthermore, it seems that they are also immune to sacred gears." Momo said as she flew close to Ravel being followed by Reya.

"Yeah. They managed to avoid the curse from Misteeta-san's sacred gear with ease." Reya commented as she felt a chill run through her body.

After those words, the devils heard something they had heard before.

[A Bishop of Sairaorg Bael has been removed]

The devils looked to their right and saw Coriana being defeated by a powerful lightning spell, which was cast by Rossweisse.

The way Coriana and Misteeta were so easily defeated made the remaining devils feel as though their body was freezing cold. However, before they could do anything else, they were awakened from their stupor by a flock of bats.

"Gasper-kun!" Ravel, Momo and Reya shouted in unison when they felt how the bats, which were Gasper, moved them from the place. However, a second after that happened, the three devils watched as more than a dozen magic circles appeared, unleashing a barrage of elemental spells on the place where they had been flying before.

The floor of the tower began to shake and be filled with explosions, all courtesy of Rossweisse who had launched this attack hoping to end it all quickly. However, it seems that she had failed.

'While it's true that «Bishops» are skilled in magic, they don't seem to be proficient in many magical spells. Also, they seem to lack hand-to-hand fighting skills, which is bad for a mage if they are left at the mercy of an enemy who fights like that.' the Valkyrie thought as she watched the devils fly to another place, looking for an area to regroup to be able to counterattack.

Deciding that they would not let them do that, Aika and Rossweisse looked at each other and, after nodding, began to fly after them.

The chase that started was accompanied by hundreds of spells cast mostly by Momo, Reya, and Ravel, while Gasper tried to use his sacred gear to stop Rossweisse or Aika. However, despite his best efforts, he couldn't, as they both kept out of his vision range, in order to prevent the Dhampir's sacred gear from catching them.

A huge fireball, courtesy of Ravel, was sent at Aika, while Reya and Momo shot lightning at Rossweisse. Both attacks forced the two friends together a few meters, placing them in a small place.

Seeing that their enemies were in a closed place, Ravel, who had planned this to gain a chance of victory, yelled loudly. "Gasper-kun!"

Ravel's yell caused the young Gasper, who had been close to her, to turn into a flock of bats and surround both enemies.

"With this we win." Ravel said with a victorious smile as she watched Gasper's bats manage to surround Rossweisse and Aika. However, when everything seemed already won, something happened that she did not expect.

Aika had seen how Gasper had surrounded them and the moment she saw his eyes glowing, she knew that he would use his sacred gear to paralyze them. So, having foreseen that something like this would happen, the young magician quickly summoned something and without wasting any time, she used it.

'There are many things that we don't know about the sacred gear that is in the eyes. One is whether they can still be used if their wielder is temporarily blinded,' Aika thought as she unlocked what she had summoned. A second later, she tossed the artifact in front of her and closing her eyes, she subtly moved her other hand to signal Rossweisse to close her eyes as well, which the Valkyrie did.

A second later, the entire field was lit up with a white glow, which ended up temporarily blinding everyone who looked on. The artifact that had produced that was no magical artifact, but rather an M84 grenade, a non-lethal human weapon used to blind and stun enemy soldiers.

"AHHH!" Gasper yelled as he felt his eyes burn, causing him such pain that he lost his bat form, leaving him unprotected for an enemy attack. Said enemy attack came just a few seconds later, causing pain in four places on his body. A pain in the right side of his abdomen, another in his left side, one in his right shoulder and one in his chest, on his left side.

"Gasper-Kun!" It was the collective scream that the devils released when they saw how the Dhampir was pierced by four swords of ice, which had been created by Rossweisse and Aika.

The Dhampir's body began to fall into the void, as the battle had been fought in the air, in a place far from the tower.

The three remaining devils began to fly towards Gasper, trying to keep him from falling into the void, but before they could reach him, the Dhampir's body was sucked into a purple vortex, blowing him away.

When they saw that their friend had disappeared, they quickly turned around and with a look of utter anger, faced Aika and Rossweisse. However, the moment they saw them, they realized that they had already lost, as there were hundreds of magic circles above them, which glowed and unleashed an all-out barrage of elemental spells on them.

The three devils instinctively created circles of magic to protect themselves, but to no avail, as the attack was so strong and numerous that it ended up overwhelming their defenses, creating several explosions.

The recently beautiful forest was full of craters, all courtesy of attacks from Akeno, Kuisha, and Tsubaki, who were fighting against Ingvild and Alivian, who was under the control of Ingvild's sacred gear.

"Take this!" Akeno yelled as she shot lightning at Ingvild.

The young half-devil had to dodge the attack to prevent it from doing more damage than expected, as it was powered by Akeno's holy power. As the attack passed her, Ingvild spread her hands and creating a magic circle, released a compressed water bullet. Said bullet traveled at high speed, but she did not defeat Akeno, as she is protected from it by using a magic circle.

An instant after said attack, Ingvild felt that something was coming from behind her and looking towards that place she saw that it was an attack from Kuisha, which failed to hit, as Alivian stopped it using his own body. While said attack was powerful, Alivian possessed high stamina, so he was able to get away from the attack relatively unscathed.

"Alivian-san! Get your senses back!" Akeno yelled, only to bite her lip afterwards in despair, as the «queen» of Seekvaira didn't respond to her words. The loss of their ally turned the battle against they in every way, for while she, Kuisha, and Tsubaki were strong, by some standards they were nowhere near on the same power level as Ingvild, the who was not only a half-devil, but also had the power of an ultimate-class devil, which put her in the top three of Edzard's group, only being below Edzard and Asia.

"Looks like we lost it." Said Tsubaki approaching Akeno, along with Kuisha, who had walked away from Alivian not long ago.

"Yeah." Kuisha answered as her gaze was focused on her two enemies. "Do you have any plans to defeat them?"

"None. The power of this enemy is very great." Akeno pointed out as she narrowed her eyes at Ingvild. "As I said before starting, it seems that her power level is similar to that of an Ultimate-class devil."

"Yes, that can be seen." Kuisha commented, who looked at Akeno and Tsubaki and then narrowed her eyes as she remembered something. And it is that before starting their fight, they told them to be careful, because this enemy was at the same level as a ultimate class devil, but not only that, but they also told Alivian to be extremely careful when fighting against her. Unfortunately, said warning was apparently useless, because as soon as the battle began, their enemy began to sing a soft melody, causing Alivian to scream in pain. Seeing their teammate suffer, they decided to attack, to stop whatever was causing Alivian pain. However, to their ungrateful surprise, when they were attacking their enemy, Alivian launched an attack from behind.

'Luckily, I managed to see the attack and use my «Hole» skill to stop it, otherwise it would all have ended there.' Kuisha thought as she looked at her companions… there was something that didn't add up, she didn't know how they both knew how strong their enemy was, not only that, but they also seemed to know that she could control dragons. So, feeling that she needed some answers from them, she decided to ask, so she called them. When they answered, she spoke again. "I hadn't noticed before, but it seems you guys know what's going on here. So, I kindly ask you to tell me what happens."

Kuisha's request caused both Akeno and Tsubaki to squirm a bit, realizing that their initial warning seemed to have caused her to conclude that they knew what was going on. While it was true that they knew that the person they were fighting was Ingvild, the truth is, they didn't know why they were fighting her in this rating game. However, after seeing the shape of Kuisha's body language they realized that she would not accept anything but the truth. So, looking at each other, they were about to mention some things, many of them would be vague information, since they had received the order not to say anything.

"The person-"

Akeno's words were interrupted when Alivian appeared just to her right side. That action caused Barakiel's daughter to be greatly surprised, since she did not expect to see the dragon appear next to her and thanks to this, she was unable to respond in time when he struck her in the face, throwing her to the ground.

Akeno's body traveled at high speed against the ground and generated a loud rumble as her body hit the ground, kicking up a large cloud of dust.

"Akeno-san!" Kuisha and Tsubaki shouted in unison because that attack had also taken them by surprise.

After seeing how Akeno hit the ground, the two devils turned their faces and looked at Ingvild, but before they could do or say anything, Alivian appeared at their side and catching them by their necks, he quickly launched towards the place where Akeno had landed.

"Let go of us…" Tsubaki growled with difficulty as she moved her right hand and invoked a magic circle, with which she planned to force Alivian to let go of both of them. However, to her misfortune, the dragon increased the speed with which it fell and ended up hitting the ground.

BOOOMMMM!

A large cloud of dust rose the instant Alivian hit the ground, covering the area and making it difficult for anyone watching the fighting from elsewhere to see it.

Inside the cloud of dust, the battle was still going on, because despite the great impact, neither Kuisha nor Tsubaki, nor Akeno had been removed.

Barakiel's daughter got up awkwardly, as she had several wounds on her body. When she brought her gaze to herself, she saw that her uniform was torn to shreds, leaving her almost naked. After examining herself, Akeno tried to walk to find her companions. However, when she moved her right leg, she fell face-first to the ground.

"Arghhh..." Akeno growled as she felt how her legs ached a lot, an unmistakable sign that they were badly injured, maybe even had broken bones. However, despite the pain she felt, she got back to her feet and when she saw something in the cloud of dust, she quickly created a magic circle, from which a gale came out. Said gale cleared the area of the cloud of dust, allowing Akeno to see that her two companions were being held back by Alivian.

The dragon kept his hands on the necks of the two girls, keeping them on the ground. Seeing this, Akeno moved her hands and conjuring a magic circle, she was about to launch a «Holy Lightning» at Alivian, thus forcing him to release the two devils. However, when she was about to make her attack, she saw something that chilled her.

Akeno's eyes widened in horror as she saw four huge water dragons, each measuring more than fifty meters long. In the midst of these dragons was Ingvild, who kept her gaze fixed on them. As she raised her right hand, Akeno's heart raced with fear, for he understood what would happen next. Realizing the imminent danger, they were in, she desperately began to try to move or free her companions, but in doing so, she did not see the instant Ingvild's hand came down, thus sealing their defeat in this battle.

The water dragons furiously descended on the four devils and when they impacted on their position, they ended up trapping them in their jaws, thus causing several injuries to all four. After that, the four dragons exploded, generating several waves of water, which took the four bodies to different places. A few seconds after this, the four devils were sucked into purple vortexes, taking them out of the place.

BOOM!

A ball of power of destruction hit one of the pillars that surrounded the place where Asia was facing Rias, Sona and Seekvaira. The attack, which was originally meant to hit Asia, was deflected thanks to Edzard's wife hitting Rias on the right side of her abdomen, causing her to send the attack elsewhere.

The force of Asia's blow forced Rias to skid a few meters, after which, the pure-blood devil placed a hand on her abdomen and fell to her knees as she felt gasping for air.

"Seekvaira!" Sona yelled as she clasped both of her hands in front of her and threw several ice spikes towards Asia, clearly intending for her to get away from Rias. Sona's plan seemed to work, as Asia began to run around the place, dodging the attacks she was throwing at her.

"Yeah!" Seekvaira yelled in response to Sona's request, so without wasting any time, she created several magic circles, from which several fireballs emerged.

Asia looked at the fireballs heading towards her and without thinking twice, she used her sword to cut them cleanly, so they didn't explode at the moment of cutting but exploded a few seconds later. Continuing with her progress, she approached the two pure-blood devils, who upon seeing her get so close to them, invoked their wings, and began to fly around the place, to get away from her. However, to their bad luck, Asia also took flight and began to chase them for a few moments, stopping several attacks with a ward, as the two devils continued to attack as they moved around.

While Asia was playing cat and mouse with Sona and Seekvaira, Rias managed to catch her breath and began to think about how to defeat their enemy. However, as much as she thought about it, she couldn't find a way to defeat her, as none of their attacks could hit her. Unfortunately, she couldn't think of anything else, as she was forced to cast a defensive magic circle when a bolt of lightning appeared in her line of sight.

"Uhhh." Growled Rias as she kept her concentration to prevent her barrier from falling. However, while maintaining her concentration, she noticed that her demonic power was decreasing abnormally, indicating that the attack she had received was a spell from Nirm's «destruction» school, as these spells were the only that could destroy the reserves of demonic power, although the amount lost depended on whether the attack hit you or not. If you were hit by the attack and survived, you would lose a good deal of demonic power, but if you managed to defend yourself, you would still lose demonic power, but the amount was less.

When Asia's attack stopped, Rias started to fly, in order to distance herself. When she went back to see her friends, she saw how they kept casting spells against Asia, but that was in vain, since the attacks they launched at her were blocked by a ward or cut by a sword. Seeing that it seemed that Asia was now focused on her friends, Rias conjured a magic circle, since she had an idea of how to defeat their enemy, so without wasting any time she conveyed her idea to her friends.

Asia kept getting closer to Sona and Seekvaira while parrying their attacks. The two devils had used fire spells and other elements to try to hold her back, but she had used a ward to stop their attacks, since unlike Aika and Rossweisse, she couldn't change the magic circle she used, so that she would easily be recognized by Rias and Sona, and that was something she wanted to avoid at all costs. So, to avoid being found out, she decided to use Nirm's spells and her melee abilities. Keeping her sacred gear deactivated and avoiding using Extreme Magicka spells.

'It's just as Ed mentioned. They have a lot of demonic power and good control of their power, along with a more than acceptable resistance to blows, but apart from casting spells, they don't know how to fight in any other way. If they run out of demonic power or if an enemy force them to melee, they will lose almost immediately.' Asia thought as she watched Seekvaira and Sona increase their speed to get away from her. However, that would not help them since she could go even faster.

So, increasing her speed, Asia continued to chase her enemies. However, she blinked in confusion as she saw both Sona and Seekvaira stop abruptly.

'What are they planning?' Asia thought, then quickly raised a ward, as both devils created various magic circles and began to launch elemental magic attacks, forcing her to stop as well.

"Do it now, Seekvaira!" Sona yelled as she continued to launch elemental attacks.

Seekvaira stopped launching elemental attacks to move her hands quickly and create a huge magic circle at Asia's feet, who was greatly astonished upon seeing this. However, the magic circle at Asia's feet did not create any explosion or elemental attack as Asia had expected, but instead created a huge barrier, which stretched several meters around Asia.

When the barrier finished creating, Asia started to look at her in slight astonishment, but her astonishment increased when she saw Sona throw a water dragon at her, which started to go faster after entering the barrier. Noticing that, Asia quickly moved her hand and when she did she realized something incredible.

'She's stopping time!' Asia thought in alarm, as she saw that her hand was moving at half its normal speed. When she realized what was happening, she began to think of a way to get out of that barrier. However, she couldn't find a way to do it without revealing her identity. 'They have left me no choice; I will have to use that.'

Following that thought, Asia began to use a skill that she possessed. However, as she did so, she heard Sona yell again.

"Rias, do it!"

Asia's eyes widened when she heard those words, so, looking back, she saw Rias conjuring up several spheres of «power of destruction», which were the size of baseballs, and throwing them at her.

Sensing danger approaching her, Asia quickly thought of how to avoid being hit by Rias's attacks, so without thinking twice, she extended her other hand and created another ward to defend herself. While that would normally suffice, she knew that she needed to get out of the barrier, so she also decided to use her racial ability, «Dragonskin».

As Asia activated her racial ability, Rias, Sona, and Seekvaira continued their attack, which had basically consisted of putting Asia into a barrier, which would slow her down, but speed up the spells they cast on her.

"Seek-chan, hold on!" Rias yelled seeing how her friend was gritting her teeth while sweat formed on her forehead, since using her family's ability in this way was something that consumed a lot of demonic power, as well as concentration, since the barrier was not only for stop time or speed it up, but it was to mix acceleration with stop, something that made her have to concentrate so as not to reverse roles, which would lead to Asia moving faster and their attacks slower.

"I'm trying, but I don't think I can do it for long!" Seekvaira yelled as she struggled to maintain that barrier. "You have to attack with more power, so that this ends soon!"

Rias looked at her childhood friend and without thinking twice, she nodded, so she yelled at her other friend. "Sona, let's attack with more power!"

Sona looked at her friend and nodding, she created several more magic circles, which began to surround Asia's position. Sona's magic circles joined with Rias's, who had also decided to do the same as the young Sitri.

The magic circles glowed for a second and then released volleys of spells, all of which were intended to defeat their enemy. The spells began to generate several explosions when they hit Asia, creating a large amount of smoke, making it impossible to see what was happening inside the barrier.

The attack of the three friends lasted thirty more seconds, since it was at that moment that Seekvaira lost her concentration and therefore the barrier spell was finished.

"Ahh, ahh…" Seekvaira was breathing heavily, falling to her knees as her barrier broke. The young devil felt that her demonic power reserves were at zero, but even so, she tried to get up, only to stumble. Fortunately, she never made it to the ground, as she was caught by Rias and Sona, who quickly moved to catch her.

"D-d-do you think we made it?" Seekvaira asked with difficulty as she looked at her friends.

"I don't know, but I don't think anything will withstand an attack of this magnitude." Sona replied as she looked at the place where the barrier had been.

"Sona is right-"

What Rias was saying was interrupted when a strong blow sent her flying, but not only her, because having been together with her friends, Sona and Seekvaira were also dragged away. When they hit the ground, the three devils looked up and to their amazement saw that there, in front of them, was their enemy, who had lost part of her armor and mask, allowing Rias and Sona to see part of her face who was hiding behind the mask. This allowed them to know the identity of whom they had been fighting against. However, whatever they could say, they were all gone from their throats when they saw how Asia took up an attack position.

The position that Asia had taken was neither more nor less than the position for her to use «Akachin». Edzard's wife had minor injuries thanks to the fact that she had used her racial ability, which allowed her to absorb part of the power of the spells that were thrown at her, reducing their power, which added to her «Absorption» ability that she had with her wards and her armor allowed her to resist all the attacks that the three devils had launched at her.

'It's good that the barrier fell at that moment, otherwise the one who would have been teleported out of here would have been me.' Asia thought, then looked at her sword and without thinking twice, she whispered the chant for her attack and after that, she rushed at them.

The eyes of the three devils widened as they watched Asia's attack, which initially looked like a comet of golden fire, turned into a large dragon advancing with its jaws open.

"Let's move!" Sona yelled as she and Rias tried to get out of there while carrying Seekvaira, but the wear and tear from the battle and the blows Asia had given them earlier took their toll and they couldn't move very fast, so they ended up getting hit by Asia's attack.

The golden fire dragon exploded into golden flames, which spread throughout the entire place, scorching various parts of the building. As the flames died down, the bodies of the three devils fell with a thud to the ground. The clothes of the three girls were torn, leaving them almost naked, which allowed to see that they had some cuts and some second-degree burns. However, nothing was fatal, but that didn't stop the power of the attack from rendering the three girls unconscious, all of whom were sucked into purple vortexes.

When Asia saw that the three girls had been teleported away, she let out a sigh as she herself began to be covered in a golden light, which caused her to disappear from the scene.

"It seems that almost all the battles have ended already." Azazel said as he watched as Xenovia, Kiba, Liban, and Tomoe were sucked into purple vortexes. "The knights fought well, but they had nothing to do when Lint and Mittelt started using the enchantments on their weapons."

"Yes, but they fought well despite the difference in actual combat experience between them." Sirzechs commented as his gaze shifted from the «Knights» to the «Rooks». "The battle between Valerie and the «Rooks» has also ended."

"Their fight was a bit uneven compared to the others because they were caught off guard by Valerie-chan's darkness magic attacks and that strange hammer." Serafall said as she remembered how Valeria had managed to knock Ladora down by using that hammer to hit him on the head, knocking him unconscious on the spot. "Though I was surprised that she managed to defeat Ladora-chan with that hammer. That will be something we should ask Ed-chan after this game is over and we have our meeting."

Both Azazel and Michael and Odin looked at the two Maous and nodded.

"You are very calm despite having seen how your little sisters received a brutal beating." Azazel said with a smile on his face, enjoying mentioning that to the faces of the two siscons. "I imagined you throwing a tantrum because of how they lost."

Azazel's words caused both devils to look away and pout, showing that if they were upset and wanted to do something, but being the leaders of a faction, coupled with the fact that they were in a formal meeting, well, they couldn't throw tantrums about it.

"Well, now only the most interesting battle remains." Odin said as he watched what was happening on the last screen.

"Yes... I must say that they are doing well." Said Azazel seeing what was happening. "But the truth is, this is just a game to him."

"Yes, Es-han is just playing with Saji-chan, Issei-chan and Sairaorg-chan." Serafall pointed and then released a sigh. "I hope he doesn't break them too much."

To those who have made it this far, Thanks for reading. Because being honest, I don't know how to write much in English and I'm relying on Google translators and the dictionaries that come with office 2019.

And chapter 54 is ready, XD.

Most of the fighting between the young devil peerages and the members of Edzard's group has been stopped. And as expected, the demons have been pummeled, though, that was to be expected if you're up against a bunch of people who fight daedras once a week or even more, because yeah, they might not be mentioned repeatedly, but there are problems with daedras almost continuously. A few more small bits of information about the difference between humans from Nirm and Earth have also been mentioned.

Now, what Valerie said was the dragon slayer blessing that Esbern gives you when you ask him for help in slaying dragons. The reason why the blessing manifests as the sword enchantment «Dragon Bane», is because it is not done with the mortal language, but with the language of dragons. That enchantment can turn any mundane weapon into a "dragon slayer" weapon for a certain period.

Ok, now on the subject of the faction led by Zekram Bael, this will have its own mini arc in the future, but for that to happen, a specific character is necessary and for that character to appear there are about seven or eight chapters left, more or less. XD

Well, I apologize for any misspelling. Do not forget to leave a review if you liked the chapter or if there is something that needs to be improved or if you have any questions about the story. Also, any constructive advice is welcome. With nothing more to say, until the next chapter.
