Chapter 61

—We do not use the power of the Thu'um for the fight, because we follow a path of peace, a path that will hardly be yours. the Dragon's blood that runs through your veins will not allow you to walk the same paths as other mortals. —

Arngeir to Edzard, High Hrothgar 4E

The first vision Edzard had after leaving Hades' secret laboratory was of a beautiful room, which was richly decorated. The place was well lit, which made it possible to see that the room was not empty, but that there, waiting for them, were some Grim Reapers.

Edzard's eyes darted across the entire place, scanning his possible enemies, as there was no certainty that this wasn't a trap. He quickly, but subtly, moved her hand to his sword, which was sheathed at his hip. Also, apart from him, Zakir did the same, as he also moved his hand slightly, while preparing to use some spell if necessary.

"It would be greatly appreciated if you weren't so tense." Orcus said as he began to float towards where the other Grim Reapers were. "Maybe this presentation is a bad sign, but the faction we represent is not known for violence. We tend to avoid all kinds of conflict, staying vigilant to see what happens so we can adapt without needing to take up arms."

The grim reaper's words caused Edzard and Zakir to look at him in confusion for a moment, then each interconnected his words with some group they knew who thought alike.

"He sounds just like the Greybeards/He sounds just like those old men." These were the thoughts of both heroes, which were addressed to the order of the Greybeards, a monastic order that studied the thu'um, but far from being known for being highly destructive beings, they were known for their pacifism and isolation. This caused them not to enter and pay no attention to the conflicts that were plaguing Tamriel.

"So…. Is your faction pacifist?" Edzard asked as he watched as Orcus finished saying some things to the other Grim Reapers present.

"Yes, it is." Orcus replied as he turned. "I have already given orders for the two humans to be checked to see if there are any side effects from being submerged in those pods for so long. Therefore, I would ask you to hand them over, please."

The grim reaper's words were answered by a tense silence from the two heroes, who made no move to hand over Asia's parents. Something that was noticed both by the grim reapers who were servants of Orcus and by Thanatos, who seemed to be having fun with what was happening.

"This…. Why don't they hand over the humans…?" Orcus asked with some confusion in his voice, as he kept looking at Zakir and Edzard.

"Do you think we would trust you just because we agreed to come to your castle?" Edzard asked, looking at Orcus as if he had two heads.

"Well, yes." Orcus answered honestly.

The grim reaper's response caused both Edzard and Zakir to freeze, for they had not expected such an honest and sincere response, while beside them both, Thanatos chuckled.

'Either this guy is good at lying, or he really is sincere with his words.' they thought in unison.

"Heh, heh, heh..." Thanatos continued laughing, who began to approach Orcus, but as he passed by the two heroes, he spoke. "Don't worry, believe me, Orcus is not one to betray someone who is under his roof."

Following the grim reaper's words, the two ex-mortals looked at each other and communicated non-verbally. They were chatting with their eyes for a few seconds, until they finally decided to accept.

The moment they nodded their heads to accept, they approached the grim reapers and gave the two humans, who were taken by Orcus's subordinates to the medical room of the palace of the Moderate faction.

"This exam is going to take time, so… Is it okay with you if we go talk somewhere else?"

"I guess..." replied Edzard, who was looking at the corridor through which the Grim reapers had taken his in-laws.

"Well and you?"

"I don't see any problem with it." Zakir replied.

After hearing both answers, Orcus began to float towards where they could wait calmly, being followed by Thanatos, who already knew where they were going. As Orcus advanced, he motioned for Edzard and Zakir to follow him.

The two heroes followed the two Grim Reapers, so they walked down a somewhat long corridor, after which they entered a room. The room that received them was very well decorated, it had good quality furniture, paintings of some landscapes of the human world and other places of the underworld. In the center there were two pieces of furniture, facing each other, while in the center there was a rectangular glass table, on the surface of which was a jug with water and some glasses around it.

Upon entering the room, Orcus and Thanatos floated to one of the pieces of furniture, where they proceeded to sit down.

"Sit down please." Orcus said in a gentle voice as he pointed to the sofa in front of him.

The two heroes looked at each other and a second later, they sat down on the sofa.

"So…before I tell you what I discovered in those folders, I want to know something, if it's possible to know…" Orcus said, wanting to know if there was another reason Edzard and Zakir had gone there. He knew that they had gone for something thanks to Thanatos, who had contacted him so that he could talk to them to get some information out of them without a fight, since he had made a deal with one of them. Although at first, he was not going to accept, when he mentioned that Hades sent Pluto to summon him, the words of Hades' most faithful grim reaper made Thanatos curious, something that made him curious too, so he ended up accepting this proposal. Seeing that they didn't seem to refuse, he snapped the question at them. "Did you go to Hades's castle for more than just saving those two people?"

The question that the grim reaper had asked somewhat disconcerted the two heroes, who had thought that the grim reaper would ask them other deeper questions, such as trying to find out what their identity was. However, the fact that he didn't ask who they were only indicated that he didn't care much about what they were doing, so they decided to talk a little more freely with him.

"In a way, we just came for them, but I'm afraid that we've come across some strange things in this region of the underworld along the way." Zakir replied as he looked at the grim reaper.

"I see…. I guess Hades is up to his nose in something. May I ask what you found out?" asked Thanatos, who had stopped fighting Edzard for that reason, the opportunity to have information to be able to have Hades by the balls if he didn't want that information to be made public.

Before answering the grim reaper's question, both heroes looked at each other for a second and after nodding, Edzard looked at Thanatos. "We have discovered that Hades is supporting one of the factions of the Khaos Brigade."

When the son of Akatosh finished speaking, the bodies of both grim reapers showed what their covered faces could not, utter surprise.

"Wh-w-w-what…?! A-are you sure?" Orcus asked when he got over his shock.

"Yes, I'm afraid it's true." Zakir replied, thus gaining the attention of Thanatos and Orcus.

"I-incredible…" Orcus said as he dropped down and put a hand to his mask. "I can't believe it… no, I can believe it. Hades hates the other mythologies so much that he would be capable of something like that, but now, which of all the factions has his support?"

The grim reaper's question was more of a question to himself, so when he heard the answer to it, he was slightly startled.

"It's the hero faction." Edzard replied, causing Orcus to jump slightly in surprise and then, along with Thanatos, to fix their gaze on him.

"You're sure?" Thanatos asked as he looked at Edzard.

"Yeah. We believe that they have meet him because they are looking for something."

"So, what-"

The question Orcus was about to ask was interrupted when the door to the room was thrown open.

"Shitty dad, the other Grim Reapers have told me that you have come with Thanatos-sama and some people. Who are they…?" said a female voice, which belonged to the person who had entered the room and interrupted Orcus's question.

Edzard and Zakir's eyes went to the source of the voice, and they were a little surprised to see it, for the being that passed through those doors could only be described as a little girl, thanks to her appearance. The girl was floating and if she stood next to Edzard, she would be no higher than the place where his sternum began. The girl wore a white skull mask, with blue eyes and some golden decorations, which prevented her face from being visible, but part of her hair was visible, which allowed it to be seen that it was dark purple, hairstyle in a long braid, which had a bow with a purple skull. This girl's clothing, for her part, consisted of her black parka cloak and under it she wore a light blue dress. On her head was a black and white hood resembling a jester's cap with an emerald gem at the tip. She also wore black elbow length gloves covered in neon gold lines with gems on the backs of the wrists. On her legs you could see some tattoos, which were black, with neon-colored lines inside.

After speaking, the girl began to float, approaching the heroes. When she was close to them, she began to look at them intensely, as she circled around them.

"Ummm...they don't seem interesting." The girl commented as she continued to look at the two heroes.

The girl's words did not faze the two heroes at all, who only looked at the girl and moving their shoulders, they looked at Orcus.

"That little girl is your daughter, right?" Edzard asked, completely ignoring the girl, something that was sure to annoy the girl.

"Is it that noticeable?" Orcus asked as he scratched the back of his neck.

"Well, she called you a shitty dad." Zakir commented with a sarcastic voice, but not only that, but after saying those words, he looked at Edzard and smiling under his mask, he spoke again, but this time he used the language of Tamriel. "I think that girl is a reflection of what your daughter could become if you keep pampering her so much, brat."

"I don't pamper her too much." Edzard replied, with a bit of annoyance in his voice.

"You buy her everything she asks for, you go where she wants to go, you forgive all her pranks... shall I continue?"

"We don't forgive her for all the mischief she does." Edzard replied getting a little defensive. "The fact that you have seen us buy things from her, does not mean that we give in to all her requests. Believe it or not, we have taught her manners and that she should behave well, but not only that, but we are also teaching her that she should answer for her actions. Although we may not have made much progress, she is still a very young child, she may be able to speak like someone older, but her reasoning and her way of seeing the world is not very developed yet. So, Asia and I are taking an approach of letting her play with fire and get burned, then coming in and giving her advice so she can learn from those mistakes."

"I see, I guess that might work for now, but I don't think that strategy will work for long."

"I don't think so, she was born under the constellation of «The Lady», and you know what people born under that constellation are like."

"I see, that explains a lot." Zakir said, understanding why Asia and Edzard were a bit lax with their daughter's actions. "Those who are born under that constellation are usually very calm and obedient, but you know that, although it is not usual, there are some people who, despite being born under that constellation, do not behave as one would expect, right?"

"Yes, I know, but I still don't think it's time to be very strict with her, we want her to live her childhood as happily as possible."

"I know, but remember that she is your heir, if something happens, she must be ready to take responsibility for running that world."

"I know, but I won't let such a big responsibility fall on her just yet." Edzard answered and then realized that his conversation with Zakir had caught the attention of Thanatos, Orcus, and his daughter. Seeing this, Edzard felt a little uncomfortable, so he blushed a little. Fortunately, his mask prevented them from seeing his flushed face.

"I'm sorry I've been talking to my companion…" Edzard said in Japanese, so they could understand.

"N-no… don't worry…" Orcus said as he looked at his guests in complete astonishment and mostly confusion. This was because his species, like all supernatural species in this world, could understand all the languages they heard, but now he himself had not been able to understand anything the two of them had been talking about.

"What the hell?!" the girl who had previously entered yelled in astonishment. "Why couldn't I understand them when they spoke earlier?!"

The yell that the girl let out made Edzard and Zakir turn their attention to her. Something that was noticed by Orcus, who scolded his daughter.

"Bennia, stop asking those questions. You don't see that you bother them."

"But don't you think it's weird not being able to understand what they're saying?!"

"Well, yes, but I'm not going to be asking them, just like that."

After those words, a small discussion began between them, which began to make those present quite uncomfortable. Wanting to end that scene, Zakir ended up falsely coughing, causing father and daughter to stop arguing.

"You could stop doing that, it's embarrassing." Zakir scolded, causing both Orcus and Bennia to hang their heads in shame, apologizing as they did so.

The reaction of the two grim reapers caused Edzard and Thanatos to look at them with blank eyes. Although, Edzard also felt some discomfort from the fact that his companion had scolded two people he had just met. Seeing that and deciding to change the environment, he decided to speak.

"Well... about young Bennia's question, I don't know how to say it, but..." Edzard said, trying to modify the information he wanted to give them a bit, but before he could say anything else, Zakir beat him to it.

"You see, girl." Zakir said, drawing the attention of the Bennia and her father. "You didn't understand any word we said when we spoke because we don't speak in a language of this world. We speak in Tamrielic, the language used by mortals from the other world."

When the Lilmothiit finished speaking, Edzard looked at him intently, as he did not want to reveal that.

"So, you know how to talk like those invaders… who are you really?" asked Thanatos, who was staring at the two heroes, trying to discern if they were one of those beings called Daedras or not.

Like his partner, Orcus also looked at them with concern, because even though his faction was known for its pacifism, the information that had come to them was that those who came from that world were very dangerous beings that attacked all living beings they saw whether human or not.

"Relax, you don't have to worry about us. Although we know that language, we are not from that world." Edzard replied, trying to calm the grim reapers so they wouldn't attack them.

Orcus, Bennia, and Thanatos looked at the two heroes suspiciously, not entirely convinced by the excuse they had received from Edzard. However, before they say anything else, Zakir spoke again.

"You remember that we told you that Hades was supporting the hero faction, right?" Zakir asked, drawing the attention of Orcus, Bennia and Thanatos.

"Yes, but... what does that have to do with you here?"

"The reason we came here was to track down and find out what the faction of heroes was planning, who are allied with one of the two main leaders behind the daedra invasions of this world."

The words that came out of Zakir's mouth caused the three grim reapers, especially Orcus and Thanatos, to tense up, for the shock they just felt was so great that they didn't know how to react otherwise to what they heard.

"I see... that's why you called me to meet you and them, right, Thanatos?" Orcus asked as he looked at Thanatos.

"Yes, that's why I did it. I'm not an idiot, I know I'm strong, but I alone can't stand up to Hades, I need you to get involved, especially now that Pluto is dead."

Thanatos's suggestion made Orcus raise both hands to his head, as he did not understand how the lord of this part of the underworld could be so petty as to ally himself with people who had connections with those beings that invaded this world.

"I... I..." Orcus began to say uncertainly, who before he could say anything else, was interrupted by his daughter, who spoke loudly.

"It's always the same with you! Whenever there's trouble in the world all you do is wait and see! You never do nothing!"

Bennia's screams caused the sensitive ears of both heroes to begin to ache, as the tone of her voice was very high. The girl continued to rant against her father for a long time, but he did not respond. That action of the grim reaper amazed Edzard and Zakir, who did not know what to say or do when they saw this scene. However, fortunately for all of them, when Bennia finished ranting she left the place, slamming the door hard.

"Wow... what a cute little girl you have, Orcus." Thanatos said sarcastically.

Hearing the sarcasm in Thanatos's voice, Orcus sighed and apologized for the way his daughter spoke and behaved.

"Well, let's put that aside. I can hear your decision about uniting against Hades later, now I want you to tell me everything you found out about those humans."

The mention of what had been seen in Hades's secret laboratory made the four presents begin to feel anxious, each for their own reasons.

Hearing Thanatos's request, Orcus nodded and with a magic circle, conjured up the folder of information he had obtained from the lab.

"Well, I'll be direct with what I found here. It seems that Hades had been experimenting a lot with some supernatural beings until about seventeen years ago, when that changed completely."

"How like that?" Zakir asked with some curiosity, but already understanding where Orcus's narrative was going.

"Hades is known for his hatred of many supernatural beings, including devils, and fallen angels. For him, these beings are unnecessary, so he wants to rid the world of them, but not only that he also wants to eliminate the users of the Longinus, considering them time bombs." Orcus commented, pointing out the most important parts of the reasons for Hades' actions. "However, the bastard is the biggest hypocrite in the world, for to achieve that end he was researching how to artificially create Super Devils."

Orcus's words caused Edzard's eyes to widen as his mind traveled back in time to the time when he discovered Koneko and Kuroka's father's research. 'Don't tell me that... no, it doesn't make sense, if I remember correctly, it was a devil from the Old Satan faction that financed that research... however, knowing that Hades wanted to do the same thing makes me think that maybe there was a connection between them...'

However, even though he wanted to know more about it, Edzard couldn't, because the next thing Orcus said brought him back to reality.

"However, he left those investigations seventeen years ago when, according to this file, he found the so-called subject Zero. Which according to the information is a human without any demonic or angelic trace, which is much stronger than normal humans. According to this information, he was living in Japan until he was discovered by the agents Hades usually sends into human territory to keep an eye on what the other mythologies and supernatural beings are up to." Orcus said, turning a page and showing a photo showing Asia's father, who was wearing civilian clothes. "According to the information collected, he was married to a human, who, according to the little that could be collected, had connections with a devil, whose identity has not been possible to reveal. After a strong capture operation that ended in Italy, he managed to find them, but at that moment the one who would be called subject one was lost, who was the offspring of this man with his wife. After his capture, they began to examine both, discovering that the woman was a normal human, but the man was something never seen, because he had an extraordinary muscular strength, with greater density and resistance. He has completely different pain reception sensors than normal humans, being able to better tolerate pain. His body has an amazing recovery rate, allowing him to recover much faster. Finally, Hades experimented on his senses and from what he wrote, it seems that these are more sensitive than normal humans."

When he finished saying that Orcus looked at the two heroes and saw that they were staring at him. However, he couldn't say anything because Thanatos beat him to it.

"I see... did he write about other things besides that?"

"Well yes... but, it's something shady..."

"How so?" asked Edzard, who felt his mental alarms go off, telling him that he wouldn't like what he would hear at all.

"Upon discovering this, he quickly changed his plans and partially put aside the creation of super devils. And he started trying to create hybrids using the man's DNA." Orcus replied, to then feel how the atmosphere cooled slightly. Averting his gaze, he realized that this climate was caused by the two masked men in front of him, who were emitting a subtle aura of murder so controlled that it was more terrifying than an uncontrolled aura of murder. Seeing that made sweat form on his forehead while several chills ran through his body.

"Please continue..." Zakir whispered in a cold voice, giving way to Edzard, who also spoke with that same kind of voice. "Tell us what kind of hybrids he tried to create."

"W-w-well…he extracted DNA and attempted to create hybrids with other races, implanting them with DNA from devils, angels, and fallen angels. However, that didn't work, subject zero's DNA rejected the other genetic codes. After that, he decided to do something else... h-he... (glup) he began to take eggs from the woman to try to create a hybrid-"

The moment Orcus said that the gravity of the place increased and both grim reapers felt that in front of them were beings of greater power than them.

"That damn bag of bones…" Edzard snarled as he squeezed the armrest of the sofa, shattering it into hundreds of splinters.

"When I see him, I'll rip his head off and destroy his divine spark in the most painful way possible..." was the growl that Zakir let out, who was thinking about what good poison to use to torture Hades before killing him.

The way they expressed themselves made Thanatos and Orcus see that they both knew those people or at least one of them. While knowing that was important, the fury they were seen to possess was something that could go off as a ticking time bomb. So, exchanging glances, they were about to prepare to fight, in case it was necessary. However, before anyone could move a finger, the door swung back open, drawing everyone's attention.

The sight of everyone present was directed towards the door, where they could see that it had been a grim reaper that had opened the door. The moment they saw him, the whole atmosphere calmed down, as Edzard and Zakir realized that he was one of the grim reapers that had taken Asia's parents.

"Lord Orcus." Said the grim reaper, who was completely unaware of what had been happening previously, since he had been watching his clipboard where he had the results of the tests carried out on the two humans.

"Yeah, what's wrong?" Orcus asked as he got up from the sofa.

"We have finished with the analysis of the two humans that have been brought here." Answered the grim reaper, drawing the attention of Edzard and Zakir, who also got up when they heard that.

"Well, how are they?"

"Fortunately, they don't have serious afflictions, but I'm afraid we'll have to do a complete cleansing of their bodies, since they've been breathing that liquid for so long that it's completely soaked into their lungs."

"I see…. That worrisome." Orcus pointed out in a soft voice.

"Is that serious?" Edzard asked with concern after hearing Orcus's words.

"That depends, it is not usually fatal, but it is problematic. Because they have been in those pods for so long, their respiratory system is corroded, and they have adapted to such conditions. That would make it very difficult for them to breathe normally again if they are not treated first."

"What kind of treatment?" asked Zakir, who still didn't quite know what medicine could achieve in this world.

"Their lungs will need to be detoxified and any remaining fluid removed to prevent their lung capacity from being reduced."

"And that process is safe? And how long will it last?"

"Yes, it is safe. In addition, due to the amount of corruption found, and the extra tests that would have to be done, that would take approximately one more hour." Answered the grim reaper as she looked at the results.

The grim reaper's words were worrisome and left Edzard and Zakir worried as they didn't know what to do. their hopes were that they wouldn't have to do much to Asia's parents, but it seemed like luck was not on their side now.

"On recommendation, I would tell you guys to accept the treatment." Orcus said, drawing the attention of the two heroes. "I don't know what the technology you access have to will be like, but these types of operations are very delicate, and a bad procedure can end up killing the patient or leaving them convalescing. If it's the price for this that you're concerned about, the information you shared with me not long ago is more than enough to pay for this."

Both Edzard and Zakir looked at each other after hearing those words, since they understood that they had to decide at that moment. Feeling that they were under a lot of pressure, they looked at each other and nodded.

"Please treat them to the best of your ability."

"Don't worry, they are in good hands." Orcus said before looking at his subordinate and ordering him to go treat the two humans they had brought with them.

The grim reaper agreed and without wasting time left the place, leaving those who had previously been inside there alone.

"Looks like we have an hour until they finish cleaning up those humans." Orcus said as he sat up. "Leaving aside the information about the hero faction, I would like to know who these two people are and what relationship they have with you. Do you think you can tell me that?"

"The people you are attending are the relatives of an acquaintance." Zakir answered, speaking the truth, but not revealing everything, since he knew that Edzard wanted his identity to be kept hidden. This is because, if it was known that he had been there, it would cause problems with the gods of the Greek pantheon.

"I see... and that person is the one who sent them?" asked the Thanatos, who wanted to confirm his earlier suspicions.

"No, he doesn't know we're here. In fact, he didn't know they were alive." Zakir said, answering the grim reaper.

"Wow that sounds very convenient, for him. I assume that the man who is being healed is an inhabitant of the world that the Daedras come from, right?" Orcus asked.

Orcus's question caused Edzard and Zakir to look at each other, as they realized that they would have to tell something about "him", so, nodding to each other, Akatosh's son answered.

"That's right, he's a human from that world."

"I see... that explains why Hades didn't want them to get down there." Thanatos commented, to later see that everyone was looking at him, waiting for him to say what he meant. Noticing this, he responded after letting out a sigh. "You may not know it, but the Greek Gods are in talks with the three factions to join the much-mentioned "Kuoh pact", this to have allies and more information about the daedras, as there have been some attacks by these beings to Greek territory not long ago."

The mention of attacks on the Greek faction made Edzard heave an inward sigh, knowing that the Daedras might attack factions outside of the pact. Something to which they could not react since they did not have permission to operate in those areas.

"I suppose that because you know the language of that world, you are in contact with beings from that world that are not daedras, right?" Thanatos asked, as he glared at the two heroes intently.

Seeing how Thanatos was looking at them, both Zakir and Edzard knew what he would ask them next, so they did not take long to agree, since they had nothing to lose in telling information that was of general knowledge in Tamriel.

Seeing the assent from the two heroes, Thanatos smiled under his mask before clasping both hands on his chest and emphasizing his words, he spoke. "That's good. Since we have an hour until your friends are healed, I hope you can share what you know about the daedras with us."

Both Edzard and Zakir felt like hitting the grim reaper at his tone of voice, but in the end they didn't and ended up nodding, since they had nothing else to do until Asia's parents were healed.

"Okay, but I hope they don't ask too many questions." Zakir said with a bit of irritation in his voice.

The ORC and Kunou stared in utter astonishment at the structure in front of them.

"That thing appeared out of nowhere, right? Or am I hallucinating things?" asked Issei, who was looking in amazement at the structure that stood before his eyes.

"Yes, Ise." Rias answered, looking at the building that just appeared out of nowhere.

The ORC was in one of the mountains of the Italian Alps. They had arrived there a couple of minutes ago, after teleporting from Kuoh. They had reached the snowy mountains and without knowing where they were or where the enemy base was, they had started searching the area. However, after fifteen minutes of searching they had not found anything, but it seemed that luck was smiling on them at this moment, since to their total surprise when they stopped searching, the whole place began to tremble and before their eyes the snow of the mountains it began to move, giving way to a huge multi-story structure manifesting itself.

"That place is huge." Kiba pointed, who was looking all over the place.

"Yes, it's so big that I don't understand how it could have been built on this land." Akeno commented, which she didn't have her usual smile, but her face was completely serious.

"As much as we can talk about this place, we have to move, as it is possible that this fortress was forced to appear like this thanks to Asia-san and the rest of her group." Said Ravel, who was looking at the place analytically.

"The fried chicken is right." Koneko said in a flat voice as she looked at the fortress.

Koneko's words caused Ravel to get angry but knowing that there was no time for childish things like fighting over an insult, she decided to bite her tongue and just keep looking straight ahead.

"Koneko and Ravel are right. Every second that is lost can be crucial, so we will have to enter at once." Rias said as he placed a hand on his chin. "As much as I want us to separate, we don't know what's in there. From what we know, there must be strong enemies in there, otherwise elite teams would not have been sent to attack them. So, we'll stick together. Everyone will cover their backs, but not only that. Kunou-chan, you are in the custody of Koneko, Ravel, and Gasper. They will be always with you, do you understand?

"Yes, ma'am" Kunou replied giving a military salute.

"Okay, then there's no time to waste. Come on!"

After Rias's shout, she and the rest of the ORC members spread their wings and without wasting time began to fly towards one of the many cracks that the structure presented. Being the only one without wings, Kunou was carried in the arms of Koneko, who was strong enough to carry her without any problems. With that resolved, the entire group flew quickly, until they finally entered the fortress.

When they were inside, they quickly descended to the ground and starting to run, they began to move through the corridors of the structure.

"Where should we go?" asked Issei, who didn't know where to go.

The answer of where to go came from two people.

"Down!" Koneko and Kunou shouted simultaneously, who looked at each other and smiled, because they realized that they both smelled the people they were looking for, being Marie for Kunou and Issei's parents for Koneko.

"Are you sure?" Xenovia asked.

"Yes, Marie's scent is at the bottom, a few floors down." Kunou replied.

"She's right, the scent of Issei-sempai's parents also indicates that they're a few floors down." Koneko replied.

"I see, I guess they'll have them together." Irina said as she looked at everyone. "We have to hurry to get there faster."

The reincarnated angel's words were responded to by a nod from everyone else present, who began to run quickly. Using their supernatural speed, they began to move through the corridors, passing rooms full of rubble where there were several crushed bodies.

Even though the sight they saw in each of the rooms or corridors was disturbing, none of them stopped, since they only had one objective and that was to find the people they had come for. Unfortunately, not all the rooms had collapsed from the movement of the structure, so, after turning a corner, they found a group of exorcists.

The moment the two groups saw each other, the exorcists drew their light swords and pistols.

"Intruders!" yelled one of the exorcists, then started shooting at the ORC members.

The action of this exorcist was replicated by his companions, who also began to shoot left and right, sending several bullets against the devils and the others. However, to the complete surprise of the exorcists, these bullets were cut and deflected by Kiba, Xenovia, and Irina, who stepped forward and wasted no time in defending their friends.

"Buchou, we'll take care of the defense!" Kiba yelled as he cut a bullet, which was aimed at Kunou.

Kiba's words were answered by a nod from Rias, who, after that action, looked at Akeno and they both nodded. After that action, both extended their hands and without waiting for a single second, they launched their respective attacks.

The exorcists who had started attacking them were exterminated thanks to Rias' power of destruction and Akeno's holy lightning, both of which took out a dozen exorcists with ease. However, despite that, the number of exorcists in the room was still many, so everyone, even Kunou decided to go on the attack.

"Drag!" Issei yelled as he charged at an exorcist.

[Welsh Dragon Balance Breaker]

Issei's body was covered by his scale mail, after which he yelled at him. "Promotion Knight!"

After that yell, Issei's armor changed shape, which made him move faster. The current Sekiryuutei used this speed to quickly attack the exorcists, landing accurate blows that eliminated all those unfortunate enough to run into him.

Next to Issei, fighting against the exorcists, Ravel and Koneko also entered, which made a quick combination. Ravel was throwing fireballs, which killed some exorcists, while it created some fire explosions, which Koneko used to attack every exorcist she saw. The small tower's fists were covered in senjutsu, while she used the two-tailed nekomata mode, so every human who received her blows received such internal damage that she died instantly. For his part, Gasper used his sacred gear to stop every exorcist he saw, something that was taken advantage of by Kunou, who threw balls of Fox fire at each enemy that the Dhampir left paralyzed.

"It's the Sekiryuutei!" shouted an exorcist, who was shooting at Kiba. "What is he doing here-?!"

The words that that exorcist tried to say later died in his mouth when Issei himself appeared in front of him and threw an uppercut, making him shoot against the ceiling, breaking his skull and causing him instant death.

Seeing the massacre that was happening in front of them, the exorcists began to run away, seeing that they were being outmatched. However, to their bad luck, the only son of the Hyoudou family would not give them the option of leaving there, because as soon as he saw that they were trying to flee, he yelled. "Promotion! Bishop!"

After that yell, Issei's armor changed again, only this time, it was no longer an armor intended for physical attack, but rather an armor for magical attack. Extending his hands, the Sekiryuutei created two cannons, from which came two beams of demonic power, which ended up destroying all the exorcists who tried to flee the place.

Issei's action surprised everyone, since it was the first time, they had seen him act like that, but they also understood why he did it. The young man was angry, no, he was bursting with anger for what they had done to his parents, so he was focusing that anger on the exorcists. While it was a good thing in a way, since he allowed them to take them out more quickly, it wasn't good for his sanity.

"Isa, are you alright?" Rias asked as she approached the young man.

"Yes, Buchou." It was the only answer Issei said before turning and looking at Koneko. "Where?"

The young nekomata felt a chill, because Issei's voice was cold as ice, something none of them had heard before. However, despite what she was feeling right now, Koneko moved her hand and pointed towards one of the entrances nearby.

"Over there?"

"Y-yes."

"Okay, let's go."

After Issei's words, the ORC and Kunou followed him, as the Sekiryuutei began to run towards the direction indicated by Koneko. As he ran, he didn't realize that his friends were looking at him with concern.

"Is everyone alright?" Asia asked looking around her.

"Y-yes…" Lint replied, looking up in awe at what she saw.

And it is that in front of the young woman you could see hundreds of rubbles, which were parts of the enemy fortress, which began to tremble, and then began to break apart and fall on top of them. Luckily, Asia, Rossweisse, Ingvild, and Aika realized the danger they were in and in less than a second, they created hundreds of ice spikes, which came together to make a huge dome, which stopped all the debris that threatened to crush them.

"What will have happened for that to happen?" Ingvild asked as she looked up at the sky and looked at the rubble.

"It seems that they have caused the fortress to collapse." Rossweisse replied as she looked at the ice ceiling that had protected them.

"So... we're trapped under a huge amount of rubble, right?" asked Aika, which she didn't know what to do, since they more than likely had several tons of stone, dirt, and snow on them.

"Yes, but we have to find a way to get out of here." Mittelt said as she looked at her friends. "Does anyone have an idea what to do?"

Unfortunately, the fallen angel's question was answered with a deathly silence. This was because no one knew what to do, including Asia.

The young magician didn't know what to do, because she couldn't use a magic circle to teleport, and she knew that because she had tried to use one to get out of there, but there was something that prevented her from using it correctly. Furthermore, even if they could use a circle to teleport, this area was protected by a powerful barrier that prevented anyone from being able to teleport inside, which was the main reason why they had launched this attack in the first place.

'What should I do? Use my Shadowkey to get us out of here and teleport back to the surroundings? No, that would be counterproductive. They already know we're here, so it's possible they're doing this to stop us. Surely what's left of the fortress is on high alert. To do that would be exposing ourselves…. But if I don't do anything, Marie will still be in danger… Marie! Will she be alright?! Will they have her somewhere away from all this?! Or has she been crushed by this rubble?!' After finishing those thoughts, Asia's mind began to imagine many scenarios where she saw the death of her little daughter. That caused her to fall to her knees and begin to hyperventilate, drawing the attention of her friends.

"Asia!" the girls shouted when they saw her in that state.

Without wasting any second, they approached Edzard's wife and tried to wake her up, because as they approached, they realized that she was in a kind of trance where she only repeated her daughter's name with her lips.

"We have to do something! If she continues in this state, it is possible that she will pass out!" Mittelt yelled as she approached her friend. Moving the sleeves of her dress, she blew air into her face, to prevent her from passing out.

While the fallen angel did that, the rest of the girls tried to make her wake up, but to their bad luck, Marcoryan's daughter didn't respond, and continued in her trance.

"Damn, she's not responding!" Aika yelled, who was also starting to get anxious seeing her friend in that state.

Slap! Slap!

The sound of two slaps was present as before everyone's eyes, Valerie and Ingvild simultaneously slapped Asia.

The action of both girls froze the rest of the group, who did not know what to do.

"W-w-what are you supposed to be doing?!" Lint yelled as she watched as both of Asia's cheeks were red from the blows they received.

"The little dove is right, what the hell are you doing?" Mittelt asked, approaching both women.

"We tried to wake her up." They both answered in unison.

"What?" Aika asked in surprise since she didn't expect such an answer.

"What you heard, Aika." Ingvild said as he kept looking at Asia. "Once my mother went into a similar state and her sister slapped her face, which made her able to react."

"That may be true, but-"

"No, it's fine. I needed." Asia's words interrupted Lint, causing everyone to look at the wife of their lover/their love interest.

"Asia!" Aika yelled with happiness seeing her friend awake and no longer whispering the name of her daughter. "How do you feel?"

"Sore. They have a heavy hand." Asia said jokingly as she got up and approached the girls, especially those who had helped her a few seconds ago. "Thank you, if you hadn't done that, I might have passed out for sure."

"Calm down, what are we friends for?" Ingvild replied with a smile.

"Yeah, just don't fall into that state again. We don't want Marie-chan to see you like this." Valerie said with a smile on her face.

"You're right. It would not be a good example for Marie if she saw me faint." Asia commented, as she looked back at the large amount of rubble that separates her from the fortress where she felt her little daughter was locked up. "We still don't know how to get out of here, right?"

"No. I tried to use a magic circle to teleport us, but I couldn't." Answered Rossweisse, who had a downcast look, since she didn't know what to do to get out of there.

The Valkyrie's words were followed by a very worrying silence, which fortunately was broken by Valerie.

"Girls… Do you think if I use my «darkness meteorite» we can get out of here?"

Valerie's question confused the girls, so the young Dhampir had to explain in more detail the idea that had occurred to her to get out of there.

"As you know, my spell allows me to charge towards a target at high speed, destroying everything in front of me until the spell is released. So, if he used it, he could destroy everything outside of here, while lifting us to the surface."

The Dhampir's words left everyone stunned, as they were true. Valerie's spell had evolved quite a bit since the meeting of the three factions and had been upgraded to the point that it was literally unstoppable, if brute force was used to try and stop it, as there were some spells that could do it like the one with dispel magic or Edzard's thu'um.

"It's true…. That spell should be able to break everything up to the surface." Asia said with a smile, because they had found a way to get out of there so they could continue looking for Marie.

So, looking at everyone, Asia nodded to Valerie, who understood what she had to do. So, without wasting a single second, the Dhampir walked until she was in the middle of all the girls.

"Put your hands on my shoulders and hold on tight." Valerie said as she looked up at the ceiling and started to get some air. However, before she did anything else, she caught a glimpse of a green light out of the corner of her right eye. Looking towards that place, she saw that Asia had activated her balance breaker.

"While we may not hurt ourselves, it never hurts to be cautious." Asia said as she placed her hand on Valerie's shoulder. When her fingers touched the Dhampir's body, she was covered by the aura of protection given off by Asia's sacred gear.

"Good." Valerie said as she looked at her ready friends. "I hope they don't vomit."

Following the young Dhampir's words, a magic circle appeared at everyone's feet. Hundreds of tendrils of darkness began to emerge from this circle, slowly creating a dome of dark power around the girls. As the dome began to solidify, black flames began to appear. The moment these flames covered the dome in darkness, Valerie released the spell.

BOOOMMMM! CRACK! BOOOMMMM! CRACK! BOOOMMMM! CRACK! BOOOMMMM! CRACK! BOOOMMMM! CRACK! BOOOMMMM! CRACK!

The darkness magic dome shot out like a projectile at high speeds, first impacting the ice dome created by the girls to contain the falling debris. The dome of darkness managed to break through the ice, proceeding to impact the stone structure above. Although at first it seemed that it would not go through, the spell continued its course, destroying the stone like a drill, piercing it. The dirt and snow, which were piled up, could do little against Valerie's spell, which continued to break through layer after layer of rubble that it encountered. A few seconds after she started the spell, it came to the surface and as it did so, it kicked up many debris, which shot around the surrounding area, killing several exorcists who were there.

"What's that?!" one of the exorcists screamed as he saw how the darkness meteorite emerged from the ground, causing the death of more than a dozen of his companions.

After that exorcist's scream, the dark energy dome fell apart, allowing the girls to be free.

The exorcists' eyes widened in horror as they saw how those people, they believed to be dead and crushed by the collapse of the fortress were still alive. Unfortunately, they couldn't shout, as Asia and the rest immediately attacked. The attacks came in the form of massive barrages of elemental spells by the magicians along with spears and bullets of light thrown by the two angels, managing to slaughter all the exorcists there.

"Looks like they're all dead." Rossweisse said with a bit of pity when she saw the absurd number of dead exorcists that were scattered around the place.

"Yeah." Aika commented as she walked through the corpses. After walking a bit, Lavinia's apprentice looked up at the ceiling and saw that above them there was a kind of natural stone bridge, which was very visible thanks to the huge crack in the surface, through which a large amount of light entered. "It seems that the earthquake from before occurred when the second fortress surfaced."

"Yes, that I can see." Lint commented as she approached the magician. "It seems that these poor men were left here to die and that it is in that fortress where the leaders are and surely also the cells and the important prisoners."

"Typical of unscrupulous cowards." Asia pointed out, as anger once again became palpable in her being. "I hope that when they die their souls do not find forgiveness and suffer for all eternity."

Asia's words and way of speaking caused her companions to worry about her, as they had never seen her this angry before. However, before she could say anything else, various shapes began to fall from the sky.

"What's that?" Mittelt asked as she looked up at the sky.

"I don't know, but it seems that they are human." Ingvild replied as she looked up at the sky.

The silhouettes began to approach at high speed, allowing everyone to see that they were about fifteen people. When these silhouettes reached the ground, they landed gracefully, allowing those present to see them.

The eyes of all the girls were wide open at what they saw, since there, in front of them, was a group of young people between fifteen and eighteen years old. The beings that had arrived had the appearance of normal young humans, save for four major features. The first of these was that they all had blood red eyes with black sclera. Second, their skin was pale, almost like the Norse in Skyrim. Third, their ears were slightly pointed, not like the elves or the ones possessed by some supernatural beings from this world, no, they were somewhat like the ears of the second era Bretons. Finally, the biggest difference of all was the aura they emitted, since it was not completely human.

"The aura of these guys looks like…" Aika began to speak, stopping every time she began to understand or comprehend the type of aura they possessed. Seeing that, she slowly turned her head towards Asia. "Their aura is somewhat similar to yours, Asia."

The words of Lavinia's apprentice shocked everyone, especially Asia, who looked in total astonishment at the young people in front of them. She could feel it, as Aika mentioned, they had an aura like hers, except for one exception, which was that her auras were more chaotic.

"What are they?" Rossweisse asked as she stared at those young men.

"I don't know, but whatever they are, they're not like the exorcists we've been eliminating." Asia answered, while she did not take her gaze from them.

"What should we do?" Mittelt asked.

"There is no other choice. As much as I'd like to know what they are, we don't have time to waste on them. However, there is something that tells me that we must fight with everything to end this quickly, so I recommend that you fight with all the strength you have." Asia said as she tightened her grip on «Anseichim», preparing herself for the fight.

The rest of the girls looked at Asia and prepared to fight in their own way. Lint only tightened his grip on her sword, while Aika summoned her spear-staff, just as Mittelt did with her sword. Valerie conjured her ring, while Rossweisse and Ingvild summoned rings that would enhance their magical powers for an hour.

"Okay girls. Let's get this over with." Asia said as she took a breath, using that moment to calm her pulse. When at last her body felt ready for combat, she screamed. "Attack!"

Now when Asia screamed, she swung her hand and moving her sword diagonally, caused a huge golden colored crescent to emerge from the blade. The crescent was a concentrated attack from Magicka, which it advanced with great speed towards her enemies. However, to everyone's surprise, the youths in front of them quickly dodged the attack. Though they didn't just dodge the attack by jumping to the side, they jumped and as soon as they set foot on the ground, they charged towards Asia and company. While rushing towards Edzard's group, they did something that shocked everyone again…they conjured bound weapons.

Asia and company's eyes widened upon seeing something like that, since there was only supposed to be exorcists in this place. However, it seemed that the information was false, as they were seeing humans use Nirmnian magic, something that shouldn't be possible.

The shock they were all in when they saw that caused none of them to know how to react to the attack. However, fortunately for all of them, the training that each one had received, added to their basic survival instincts, allowed them to react in time to prevent the attack from hitting them.

Each of the girls jumped back as their enemies got too close to them, thus managing to gain some distance while dodging the attacks.

"What the fuck?! Aren't humans from Earth supposed to not be able to use Magicka?!" Mittelt yelled as she took her sword and used it to deflect the attack of one of the youths, who had lunged at her to attack her. When her sword deflected the attack, the little fallen angel was forced to duck as well, as another of the youths had tried to take her by surprise with a sneak attack.

"That's right!" Asia yelled back as she used her sword to engage three enemies, deflecting their attacks. After that, she moved her free hand and threw a fireball towards her enemies, who dodged it by jumping to the sides. "Has no sense. We have no records of humans with this type of power, even those like Aika who have received Ed's blood cannot use Magicka normally, their reserves are ephemeral and conjuring linked weapons requires more Magicka than they would gain with the power received from Ed."

"Then they may have been created differently!" Rossweisse yelled as she dodged the attacks of the four young men who were coming for her. Without thinking twice, she took flight and when she was several meters in the air, she conjured several magic circles, from which she cast several wind spells. The gusts that came from the circles hit the youths, causing them to fly away and end up impacting the walls and rubble that surrounded the battlefield. However, even though the blow they received was strong, they got up again as if nothing had happened.

"It seems that they are more resistant than we thought." Lint commented as she jumped back, dodging the attacks of three young men. When she was in the air, she turned and aiming her pistol, fired three shots, which hit the bodies of her enemies. However, to the young woman's surprise, a whirlpool appeared and absorbed part of the bullets, allowing the attack that hit the young men to be minuscule compared to the original attack.

That involuntary action that arose from the bodies of the young people drew a lot of everyone's attention, but as always what happened with things that came from Nirm, it was Asia, when Edzard wasn't there, who knew what was happening.

"They have magic resistance." Asia said loudly as she focused on her own enemies. Glancing out of the corner of her right eye, she saw Valerie fight a couple of these young men.

The young Dhampir used her claws coated with darkness magic to prevent the blade of the bound weapon from dealing damage to her. Valerie deflected her attacks with smooth movements, allowing the blades to glide across her palms, allowing her not to have to use much force for defense and to counterattack quickly and effectively. To everyone's complete surprise, she managed to deflect her enemies' attacks to the point where she was able to create an opening large enough to hit her enemies directly.

Seeing the opportunity, the young Dhampir made use of her fists and without wasting a second, gave each one a powerful blow to the chest. A disgusting crack was heard when the strength of the young Dhampir shattered the young men's bones, sending them flying and crashing against the walls and rubble.

"It seems they are not that resistant to physical attacks." The Dhampir said when she saw how the two young men were lying unable to move.

Hearing those words, Asia knew what she had to do, so without thinking twice, she looked at her companions and yelled. "Girls, use weapons to fight! Since we don't know what they are, try using blunt weapons and if you use an edged weapon, don't hurt them too much! We must capture them to find out what is going on here!"

After those words, all the girls prepared to fight hand to hand.

Moving her right hand, Rossweisse conjured a magic circle and made a spear appear from it. The spear was simple in design, a shaft with a double-edged blade at the tip. The weapon's color was blue, and it had a blacksmith's signature made with two letters of the dragon language, indicating that it had been built by Edzard.

The rest of the girls did the same as the Valkyrie, conjuring their respective weapons. Valerie returned to conjuring the weapon that she had used during the rating game, since, although she had received training with other weapons, she was very good at using hammers. Meanwhile, Ingvild conjured her staff, which she would use as a blunt weapon, if necessary, as she decided to stay behind to provide covering fire if necessary.

"Let's go!" Asia yelled seeing her friends already ready for battle.

After Asia's voice sounded, the group rushed towards their enemies, hoping that this battle would not be too long, since going with the intention of incapacitating and not killing would make their battle more difficult, but they knew that it was necessary to capture him, so they would not waste time.

Both groups charged at each other, finding themselves in the center of the battlefield. The sound of weapons clashing was present as the girls fought, demonstrating their battle prowess.

Rossweisse faced three enemies at once, circling her spear occasionally to keep them away from her. Although her spear moved in a circular way, she did not do it erratically, but did it in a premeditated way, moving her weapon as the situation required, since she was using it to defend herself, deflecting all attacks that her enemies sent her. they threw. Although his spear moved in a circular fashion, she did not do so erratically, but did so on purpose, since that way she could keep his enemies at bay.

The young Valkyrie moved her spear, deflecting several attacks almost simultaneously, something that surprised the young people she was fighting with. When she saw this, she was slightly surprised, as during the entire battle, these youngsters had barely shown any emotion.

However, even though she was surprised, she did not let the surprise take control of her actions, so, without wasting the opportunity, she turned her spear and taking it from the end that was closest to the blade, turned her body one hundred and eighty degrees. The young woman's movement helped her spear gain enough strength for what she planned to do, since a second later, she launched an attack that consisted of a blow with the shaft of the weapon.

Rossweisse's attack took two of the youths by surprise, who were unable to dodge it, so it hit them in the back of the head, knocking them out.

When she saw that two of her enemies were falling, she wasted no time and launched herself against the last one, since she had to knock him out so she could go help the rest of her companions.

While Rossweisse was fighting the last of her enemies, Mittelt was fighting three young men as well. The fallen angel used her sword, but not only that, but also used her spear of light in the other hand.

The battle of Mittelt was being a little more complicated, but it was not due to the difference in ability, but more because they had to hold back to avoid killing them, since they had to capture them to find out why they had an aura like that of Asia.

Swinging her sword vertically, the former Grigori spy parried the attack of one of her enemies, but in doing so, she gained a gap in her defense. This caused another of her enemies to try to use said opening to kill her, but she had already foreseen that, so without wasting any time, she moved her other hand and using her spear, deflected his attack.

Mittelt's action caused her enemy to stumble, an action that she took advantage of to hit him on the head with the pommel of her sword, causing him to fall unconscious. However, despite having done that, the battle did not stop there, as the other youths surrounded her, trying to kill her; but to her bad luck, she saw them coming and raising her hand, she created several spears of light, which she launched at them.

Although she knew that they owned a high resistance against magic, she did not plan to defeat them with it, rather she planned to use it as a distraction to take them by surprise. To her good fortune, which seemed to work, since when they dodged the spears, they were in perfect positions to be attacked. So, spreading her wings, she flew at great speed against them. Taking advantage of that speed, she was able to knock them all unconscious with quick and exact movements.

When she stopped, she looked back and to her surprise, she saw that all her friends had also defeated all of her enemies.

Seeing them, she began to approach the group. However, she stood still as she felt an enormous sense of danger behind her. Turning her face towards that direction, the fallen angel's eyes widened as she saw a huge number of magic circles above her.

A second after she saw those magic circles, hundreds of magic spells were unleashed on her.

"Mittelt!" was the cry of her friends, who were already at a barrier.

Hearing the screams of her friends, she moved her wings to try to reach the barrier, before the attacks hit her.

BOOMMM! BOOMMM! BOOMMM! BOOMMM! BOOMMM! BOOMMM! BOOMMM!

An enormous number of explosions were present, destroying everything in its path.

A huge pile of rubble appeared in front of the ORC's eyes, which had already reached the areas that they assumed were the dungeons of this fortress.

The steps of the young people were fast and impatient, since they had already passed through more than fifteen rooms and what they saw were only bodies crushed by the rubble that had fallen from the walls and ceiling. Those visions increased the worries and anxiety they felt, especially in Issei and Kunou, who were worried that the people they were looking for were there under all that rubble.

"Do we have to hurry!" Kunou yelled as she sped up.

"Kunou-chan, wait for us!" Rias yelled as she watched as the little kitsune increased the speed of her steps.

Rias's yells fell on deaf ears as the Yasaka heiress kept running. As she ran, she was passing some cells, which were full of rubble. However, when she passed another cell, she managed to detect Marie's scent, so without wasting any time, she ran towards that direction.

Turning around a corner, she finally saw it, the cell that Marie was in. Seeing that she was finally close to her, a smile appeared on her face as she ran to where her friend was.

When she got to the door, she used some Fox Fire to break the hinges on it, which ended up causing the door to fall.

"Ma-chan!" Kunou yelled as she entered the cell with a smile on her face. However, that smile disappeared after what she saw there. The image that was presented before her eyes caused her to fall to her knees, leaving her in such a state of shock that she did not realize that she had been overtaken by the devils and the reincarnated angel.

"Kunou-chan?" Rias asked as she reached the kitsune's side. "What's going on?"

Rias's question was not answered by Kunou, but before she could say anything else, Koneko's voice caused her and the rest of those present to feel like a stone was in their stomach.

"No…" Koneko said as her body broke out in a cold sweat.

"What's wrong, Koneko-chan?" Akeno asked fearfully, since the nekoshou's tone of voice was sadness mixed with fear.

"This cell is filled with the scent of Edzard-sama's daughter."

"No..." Akeno said as she put her hands to her mouth because she understood what had happened. And it is that the cell that was in front of her eyes was completely full of rubble, which covered the entire place, leaving few free spaces. That indicated that if Edzard and Asia's daughter had been in there, it was more than certain that she had been crushed.

"Impossible..." Rias whispered in fear as she saw the place.

Author's note:

To those who have made it this far, Thanks for reading. Because being honest, I don't know how to write much in English and I'm relying on Google translators and the dictionaries that come with office 2019.

And chapter 61 is ready….

I have to say that this chapter has turned out relatively well for me, but there are still things left in the air that I wish I could answer in later chapters. We have seen parts of the battles that are being fought, if I can try to show what happens in other places, since apart from the meeting of the Dovahkiin and the Vestige with Orcus and Thanatos, and the rescue mission, something else is happening. One of those events is planned to go completely behind the scenes, but it will be mentioned in later chapters, in fact, it will cause something in some chapters.

We also see that Bennia has made her appearance. Although in the novels it is said that she does not have a good relationship with her father, I am maximizing that disagreement thanks to the events that happen in the fic.

Well, I apologize for any misspelling. Do not forget to leave a review if you liked the chapter or if there is something that needs to be improved or if you have any questions about the story. Also, any constructive advice is welcome. With nothing more to say, until the next chapter.
