Chapter 63

One of the aspects we'll need to improve in you, Asia, is your endurance and pain tolerance. I'm afraid that if we don't, that will be your greatest weakness. —

Aela and Serana during Asia's training.

The eyes of the ORC members were completely open at what they saw, as they did not expect to see Edzard in this place, much less see him arrive this way.

"Ed..." Issei said with a whisper, as he was surprised to see his friend here, since it was assumed that they had not been able to contact him.

"Issei…take Marie and Kunou. Then, get away as fast as you can, I don't want you to be around for what's about to happen." Edzard replied as he continued to squeeze Marcus's throat.

"O-okay." Issei answered, who despite the curiosity he felt to know how his friend was here, knew that it was best to listen to him, so he looked at Kiba and they both quickly approached the two girls who were floating.

Both devils took them and together with Xenovia, the three quickly moved towards where the rest of their friends were. When they were several meters from Edzard, they saw how he let go of Marcus and before he hit the ground, he quickly kicked him in the entire back, causing the artificial hybrid to be thrown against the wall. Marcus's body flew at high speed and ended up hitting the wall, creating a crater due to the great force of the blow.

"GAHH!" was all Marcus could say as he fell to the ground with a thud.

When Edzard saw the body of the person who had kidnapped his daughters, and who had forced a deployment of members of the pact, he felt the primal anger that he must always keep in check whenever he got angry. Beginning to walk with gentle steps, his mind drifted to the moment when he returned to his palace.

Flashback

Edzard's eyes opened as he felt a cold breeze brush against his skin and as he did so, he saw that he was on the top of a mountain. His eyes scanned the landscape surrounding his palace, finding some calm in it. However, he knew that he would not have much calm, because in the distance, he saw a light appear, which was the sign that the laboratory that had been in Hades' territory had just arrived by teleporting. Looking back, he saw how Asia's parents were floating peacefully. Knowing that he must travel quickly, he took them and carrying them in each arm, he made a great leap and beginning to fly at high speed, he headed towards his palace.

Thanks to the fact that he was traveling at high speed, he managed to arrive quickly and landing near the place where the laboratory had been teleported, he saw that all the maids were there, each one with magic circles prepared to attack if something dangerous came out of there.

The maids looked very upset, but fortunately they managed to recognize Edzard.

"Edzard-sama!" all the maids shouted, as their magic circles ceased to exist.

"Girls." Edzard responded as he looked at Diodora's former servants, and then moved the bodies he was carrying a little. "I need you to prepare a room in the infirmary with two beds for these people."

The maids looked at their master and after seeing that he was carrying two bodies, they quickly began to move. Two of them approached and took the woman, while they let Edzard carry the man.

"I need you to contact Sirzechs, there is something important in that laboratory." Edzard said as he and the maids quickly flew towards the palace. "Also, when everything is ready, I need you to tell my wife and daughter to go to my study, I need to talk to them about something important."

The moment Edzard mentioned Asia and Marie, the maids tensed, something that was easily noticed by Akatosh's son, who began to sense that something had happened.

"What happened?" Edzard asked as he narrowed his eyes.

Edzard's voice had been cold as ice, causing the maids to feel a chill run through their bodies. However, they knew that their master was now upset, and if they denied them the information, he would become angrier, so, who was once Diodora's queen, spoke up.

"Edzard-sama…"

End Flashback

The maid's words had given Edzard the general picture of what had just happened in his temporary absence. The anger he felt when he found out that someone had dared to take his daughter was great, but not as much as his feeling of guilt, because on many occasions during his incursion with Zakir he felt that something bad was happening, but he decided to ignore it.

'My lateness has caused Asia and the rest to have to come and fight, not only that. But he also almost caused Kunou's death...' Edzard thought guiltily, and then let out a sigh... he would have time later to wallow in guilt, right now he had to put an end to this bastard, but first, he would find out why he smelled like a Nirmnian, more precisely, like a fucking Altmer.

"Heh, heh, heh… you really hit hard, bastard…" Marcus said as he slowly stood up, then turned his head and spit out one of his teeth, which came out accompanied by some blood. "I haven't been hurt like this since I got my new powers. Although, I couldn't expect anything less from you, Dovahkiin."

"I see you know who I am." Edzard said as he approached Marcus. His steps were firm because he knew that his enemy could not do anything against him.

"Of course, I know who you are… my boss talks about how much he hates you." Marcus said with a smile as he moved his fingers a little. "And if I'm honest… Me too!"

After shouting, Marcus waved his hand and threw a fireball directly at Edzard, who was less than fifty meters away from him. The fireball quickly traveled the distance, threatening to hit Edzard.

"Ed! / Edzard-san! /Edzard-sama!" was the collective scream of all those present, who saw how the son of Akatosh did not move.

Edzard heard his friends scream, but still, he didn't move. The speed with which the spell arrived was the same as a spell cast by an Adept level mage in destruction would have, something more than respectable, but nothing new for him. So, raising his right hand, Edzard quickly moved it and displaying a skill he did not usually display, he stopped Marcus's spell with his bare hand, extinguishing the fireball as if it were nothing.

Edzard's action amazed everyone who saw what happened, especially Marcus, who did not think that would happen.

'This idiot's spell was not a simple fireball but was the incinerate spell... that spell cannot be used by an Adept level destruction mage, not especially because of the amount of power the spell contained. spell.' Edzard thought as he shook his hand, thus removing any trace of the Dispel Magic spell he had used.

"H-h-how…?" Marcus asked in amazement, as he didn't expect Edzard to be able to do something like that.

"That's what I want to know…" Edzard responded to his enemy's question. "You're supposed to be a human Earthling, and you shouldn't be able to use Magicka. Even if you could gain access to that power, you shouldn't have the amount of Magicka to be able to cast a spell like that. However, you can do it…"

"Heh, heh, heh… Guess!" Marcus shouted as he pulled out an exorcist sword and launched himself at Edzard, who upon seeing the "exorcist" arrive, took a step back, making it seem like he was planning to retreat.

When Marcus saw that, he smiled amusedly and moving his free hand, launched a powerful thunderbolt at the son of Akatosh, causing Edzard to move slightly to the right to dodge the attack, supposedly leaving him in a bad posture. Marcus's smile increased in intensity when he saw Edzard leaning to the right and swinging his sword, he slashed diagonally.

The ORC members watched as the sword approached Edzard dangerously, but before anyone could say anything, the son of Akatosh moved his left hand and caught the "exorcist's" sword, causing it to burn his hand a little, but the pain it caused him was something he could comfortably endure, so taking advantage of the fact that his movement had disconcerted Marcus, Edzard moved his knee and delivered a powerful knee to his entire abdomen, leaving him gasping for air.

"GAHH…" was the only thing Marcus could say as he spit out blood again, only this time it was mixed with his saliva and bile.

After hitting the abdomen of his daughter's kidnapper, Edzard released the light sword and, moving his right arm, elbowed Marcus in the entire back, causing him to fall to the ground, causing him to end up bouncing in a somewhat grotesque manner. However, Edzard's attack did not stop there, but instead he jumped a little and launched a spinning kick, which hit Marcus's body, causing him to fly into a pile of rubble, raising a large amount of dust and throwing several of those debris around him when he hit them.

BOOOMM! BOOOMM! BOOOMM! BOOOMM!

Several explosions of power shook the battlefield where Asia faced Walburga and her allies. The explosions arose from the constant attacks of the magician, who used her magic and the sacred gear in a coordinated manner, causing Asia to have to move on the defensive, since they attacked her almost as if it were a continuous bombardment of spells.

"Ah, ah…" were the labored breaths of Asia, who was acrobatically dodging the attacks of Walburga and her magician subordinates, who were attacking her with magic. The battle had already been going on for several minutes and those minutes were already taking their toll on Asia, who had already drunk several of her Magicka and Stamina potions.

While dodging the enemy spells, Asia saw out of the corner of her eyes how two shadows were approaching her at high speed. Knowing what they were, she swung her sword and parried a blow from one of Walburga's subordinates, who were attacking her hand-to-hand. This, combined with the attacks of the magicians, meant that she was cornered, denying her the opportunity to counterattack effectively. However, that was not the only thing she did, since another enemy arrived from another side, therefore, the ex-nun had to crouch so that the incoming attack of the other humanoid would pass by and not hurt her.

After that, Asia, who was aware that her enemies would attack her again, wasted no time and quickly moved her right foot, allowing her to change her stance. Taking advantage of the fact that she had now managed to get into a position where she had a large opening to attack, she moved her free hand and gathering Magicka, she released a powerful thunderbolt at point-blank range, which hit her enemy's face.

The strength of Asia's spell was such that the humanoid made of fire was thrown towards a wall, but it failed to hit, as it vanished before doing so.

'Another one less, there are already thirty to go.' Asia thought as she saw how her enemy disappeared, but as much as she wanted to, she didn't even have time to breathe a little, since a second later she was forced to create a ward to stop the avalanche of enemy spells that began to rain down on her. While her ward protected her from the damage of the enemy attack, Asia thought of a way to defeat all her enemies, whose attacks directly affected her reserves of Magicka and stamina.

'I don't understand how this is possible. Every attack that hits my ward does such an amount of damage that it threatens to break it.' Asia thought as she sent more Magicka to her defense, as the constant impacts threatened to break it. 'As long as I can remember, I haven't seen the spells of this world destroy the wards, but I am continually using a large amount of Magicka to prevent it from breaking- Damn!'

The final rudeness that Asia thought arose because the ground began to heat up, an unmistakable sign that Walburga would make a huge cross of fire appear from that place. Knowing how destructive that power was and the effect such destruction had on her sacred gear, Asia was forced to jump back while she kept her ward up, as the barrage of enemy attacks did not stop.

The ex-nun jumped several meters, ending up skidding a few more meters, and when she stopped, she saw how a huge cross of fire appeared from the ground, covering a large area of space. Fortunately, that cross also blocked the magic attacks of the humanoids created by Walburga's sacred gear, which would allow her to take a small breath… Or at least that's what she hoped, but the reality was different, since a second after Walburga's attack arose, the remaining humanoids that were fighting hand to hand launched themselves against her, so when she saw them arriving, she quickly deactivated her ward and sending Magicka to her sword, she released an explosion of pure Magicka, which took the shape of a crescent.

Asia's attack traveled at high speed, but was dodged by the humanoids, ending up hitting one of the walls of the fortress, generating an explosion that sent several stone fragments flying in various places.

Even though her first attack had failed, Asia did not give up and repeated the previous maneuver, launching three more crescents, only this time, when those attacks were launched, she did not stay still, but ran after them.

The fire humanoids dodged the crescents using acrobatics, only so that when they looked forward again, they saw Asia, who moved her sword and managed to take the first humanoid in front of her by surprise, and taking advantage of that, she made a one-eighty turn degrees and beheaded it. However, after that maneuver, Asia was forced to use her sword to block the attack of two humanoids, which had swords made of purple fire.

The two humanoids attacked simultaneously, causing Asia to have to defend herself against both attacks, leaving her in a position where she was forced to struggle with them to avoid their weapons touching her.

'I can't let those weapons made of that fire touch my balance breaker, otherwise the time I have to use it will be reduced even more.' Asia thought as she clenched her teeth and grip on her sword as she struggled. The reason why she was so worried about the weapons made with the fire of Walburga's sacred gear was because for some reason that fire caused such great damage that it made her balance breaker consume more energy than normal, greatly shortening the time she could keep it active.

Asia kept her focus so focused on not letting her enemies' swords touch her that she didn't notice that another of the humanoids approached her from behind and kicked her, causing her to stumble and her defense to fall, which did that the two enemies in front of her managed to give her a powerful blow each. The holy fire swords hit Asia's chest, but due to the absolute defense of her sacred gear, she was unharmed, but their blow still sent her flying at high speed.

Asia's body was thrown like a comet, ending up hitting the ground several times, until it finally ended up hitting a wall.

BOOOMM!

A large amount of dust kicked up as Asia hit the wall, allowing the young woman a couple of seconds to think about what had happened.

'I was stupid, I forgot the first rule about what to do when fighting multiple enemies at the same time, never focus on just one group.' Asia thought as she felt her balance breaker begin to weaken. 'Damn, there are already several blows I have received since this battle started. I don't know how long I can last this way. I must end this quickly and to do so, I will have to use all my available arsenal.'

After those thoughts, Edzard's wife came out of the crater that her impact with the wall had caused and walking, she stopped to get some air. When she felt a little better, she took her sword with both hands and without waiting or thinking much, she began her best melee technique.

"The light of the stars is the light of creation."

"This light becomes fire."

"Fire is life. And life is magic."

"All magic and life began with time. And time is a dragon."

"Akachim!"

The moment Asia finished her chant, she quickly rushed towards her enemies.

The cloud of dust that had been produced by Asia's impact with the wall abruptly dissipated as a dragon made of golden fire appeared from where Asia had previously been. The speed with which it moved was such that it took the fire humanoids fighting hand-to-hand by surprise. Taking advantage of the moment, Asia used her speed to quickly close the distance and when she was facing the first of her enemies, she quickly attacked. The dragon opened its jaws and devoured the humanoid completely, although that was the appearance it gave, other things were happening inside the dragon, because when the humanoid was devoured, Asia proceeded to make a quick diagonal cut, with which she cut to the humanoid in two.

After cutting off her first enemy, Asia did not waste time stopping, because she knew that when she did, her attack would end, so without waiting for anything, she continued her way, leaving the two halves of the humanoid that he had just shot down behind her, ignoring how it disappeared from existence.

The fire dragon that was the most powerful melee attack that Asia possessed continued on its way and began to engulf one by one of the humanoids that were there. However, no matter how good it seemed, Asia's advance was not without problems, because when Walburga saw that dragon emerge, she made the cross of fire that she had conjured disappear and began to bombard the entire place with elemental spells, at the same time which made her puppets do the same, but not only that, she also used the power of her sacred gear to create multiple crosses of fire to trap Asia. However, to Walburga's total surprise, Asia continued her way, dodging all the crosses, but not giving much importance to the other attacks, which hit close to her causing explosions that would damage her if she did not have her sacred gear, but having the defense of her balance breaker, Asia decided to pass them to try to end the fight right now.

Asia continued forward, killing every enemy she saw, when she finally arrived at the last one, she continued on her way, which caused the golden dragon to also devour the humanoid, only, unlike its other companions, this one did attack Asia, but she dodged it by jumping slightly to the side and when she saw it defenseless, she stabbed her sword into its neck, killing it.

After that attack, Asia's fire dragon vanished, leaving her with her Magicka and stamina reserves somewhat low, but while she was standing, she quickly took her free hand to her bag and took out two potions, which were the penultimate, so, drinking them instantly, she began to jump back, as Walburga began to attack her with magic.

"Don't think that just because you eliminated my melee fighting tools you will be able to defeat me! You're still missing the rest!" Walburga shouted as she launched several fireballs, which were not normal magic spells, but were the flames of her sacred gear. This action was followed by her other puppets, who did the same, casting elemental spells.

Asia did not respond to Walburga's words, nor did she pay attention to the fireballs despite the danger they represented for her. This was because she was concentrating, fusing the two magics of hers to access the power of her Extreme Magicka. When the two sources of magic that Asia possessed harmonized enough to release a spell, the young ex-nun looked towards where her enemies were and saw how hundreds of spells were approaching her.

'Everything depends on this attack. If I manage to defeat them, I will have the battle assured, if not, I fear I will be defeated. 'Asia thought as she joined both hands and channeled almost all the Magicka she had left into this attack. A sphere of golden light began to form hastily in Asia's hands, who knew that she was running out of time. Fortunately, the spell she was charging managed to be ready just before the enemy attack came, so she, without wasting a second, extended both hands as she screamed. "Extreme Magicka Spell: Holy Ray!"

The golden sphere of Restoration magic that was in Asia's hands exploded, releasing thousands of beams of golden light, which were directed against the spells of Walburga and her puppets. The thousands of beams of light impacted against the spells of Walburga and company, creating hundreds of explosions, which filled the entire place, creating gusts of wind that threatened to send everyone there flying.

"Aghhh." Walburga growled when she had to cover her face to continue seeing, since the wind that arose was such that it made it difficult to see what was happening. It was that action that caused her to stop casting her magic, which allowed Asia's spell to gain ground, causing the beams of light to overwhelm the spells of her puppets.

"Curse!" Walburga shouted as she saw the thousands of beams of light advancing against her and the puppets she had created. Seeing the destructive power of those spells, she knew that if they hit her, she would be annihilated, so she quickly created a dome with the holy fire of her sacred gear, but not only that, but she also created several barriers to protect herself from it, something that was copied by her puppets.

The beams of light hit the barriers, causing them to slowly crack, as Asia was using eighty percent of her remaining Magicka in that attack.

Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!

The sound of the barriers breaking echoed throughout the place, allowing Asia's attack to impact all the enemies present, since only one managed to save itself from receiving Asia's attacks and that was Walburga, whose cocoon of holy fires managed to resist the onslaught of the attack from Asia.

When the magician of Hexennacht sensed that Asia's attack had already stopped, she caused her holy fire cocoon to dissipate, allowing her to see the extent of the power of the attack that had been launched at them. When her eyes fell on the destruction created, she opened them as wide as she could because the whole place was full of craters, but not only that, but she also realized that she was alone, because all her puppets had been defeated.

The sight of Asia's power worried, nay, terrified Walburga, who had been completely sure that her plan to use the souls of the failed subjects of the experiment Euclid had initiated to create artificial hybrids between Nirmnians and Earthlings would be successful. effective... And it had been during the first minutes, but now! The damn ex-nun had destroyed them!

Walburga's fear increased when she saw Asia and realized that she was drinking two potions, which would surely make her regain her magic and resistance. Seeing this, she knew that this battle was lost and that she would have to retreat, after all, it is better to say that she fled here than died here. However, when she was about to begin her escape, a powerful swirl of wind approached her, causing her to have to protect herself from it with a barrier.

The spell hit the barrier, causing Walburga to retreat a little, but nothing more, since her barrier, despite having been hastily constructed, had more than resisted the onslaught of Asia's spell.

"Don't even think I'll let you escape, damn it!" Asia shouted, who had her hands outstretched towards Walburga.

Edzard's wife had used her last Magicka and Stamina potions, which were not like the others, but were potions of less regenerative power, so right now she did not have the same level of power as she had before launched her Extreme Magicka spell. However, Asia knew that she could work with that for now.

Walburga's eyes narrowed as she looked at Asia, as she was thinking.

'It seems that she can't use another attack of the same magnitude as the previous one.' The magician thought, who ended up putting on a smile. She had been scared thinking that Asia might do another spell like the previous one, but it seemed like she was wrong, because it seemed like she didn't have the energy for it. 'If she can't use that spell, then she can use one of those scrolls to defeat her.'

The smile that Walburga had increased in size when a magic circle appeared in her ear, through which she heard her strongest subordinates, who were the first successful artificial hybrids created by Euclid, tell her that they had managed to catch the other women who made up Asia's group.

"Do you think you can beat me, brat?!" Walburga shouted with a smile. "If you don't want me to kill your friends, then give up now!"

Walburga's shout confused Asia, who did not understand why her enemy was asking her to surrender when right now she had the upper hand. So, knowing that she could take down the mage, she quickly began to prepare a high-level spell, but when she was about to release it, she saw how Walburga used her Shadowkey again and that caused a shiver to run down the ex-nun's spine.

The cracks in space generated by Walburga's shadowkey were black, something that was very different from those generated by Edzard and Asia's Shadowkey, whose portals were gold. However, it was not the color that caused Asia's discomfort, but rather what emerged from there, as she saw how some silhouettes began to emerge from these portals.

When the silhouettes emerged, all the color drained from Asia's face, leaving her as white as snow. Asia's reaction came from the surprise of seeing her friends, and members of her family, completely defeated, being carried like sacks of potatoes on the shoulders of several subjects.

The smile Walburga had earlier grown bigger when she saw the shock on Asia's face. An electric current went through her body when she saw the ex-nun like that, completely astonished and terrified. So, knowing what she had to do, she spoke with a voice full of venom.

"Ha, ha, ha… Ha, ha, ha! Your face, that confident face you had before is gone!" Walburga shouted excitedly as she laughed at Asia's expression. "You don't know how I like to see you making those expressions, brat!"

'How could they defeat the girls? If each of them is at least at the level of high-class devils... And above all... How did they manage to escape unscathed?' Asia thought while her mind tried to process what she saw because she couldn't understand how that was possible. However, that initial surprise and shock of her gave way to anger, because she was angry at what had been done to her friends. So, without thinking twice, she charged at them.

Asia's speed took Walburga a little by surprise, as she saw how Asia literally looked like a comet heading towards her. However, despite her surprise, she knew that she would be fine and that was proven when one of her subordinates moved forward to intercept Asia.

Asia kept her concentration on her target, Walburga, who seemed to be taken by surprise with her speed, so, determined to end everything in one fell swoop, she prepared to swing her sword and deliver a powerful slash. However, she was forced to abruptly stop her attack when she saw one of Walburga's subordinates arrive to intercept her. Narrowing her eyes, Asia watched as she approached quickly.

'If I cut him, I will have a free way to attack Walburga.' Asia thought, while tightening her grip on her sword, preparing the attack to use. Unfortunately, her attack would never hit, because when she launched the slash, Walburga's subordinate acted cowardly and used Lint's body as a meat shield, causing Asia to abruptly stop the attack, thus being caught off guard.

The opening that Asia left in her defense was taken advantage of by another of Walburga's subordinates, who was carrying Aika. The man moved his hand and launched a powerful lightning bolt, which traveled quickly towards Asia, who, seeing the attack coming, moved her free hand and created a ward. Unfortunately, Asia's action was taken advantage of by the subject in front of her, who kicked the ex-nun, causing her to fall to the ground.

Asia's body flew at high speed against the ground; However, it did not hit, since the ex-nun managed to stabilize herself easily, because even though she received the blow, her body did not receive any damage, which allowed her to react quickly…. And it's a good thing she did, for at that moment, Walburga's other subordinates arrived at her, and began attacking her with bound swords.

'What's going on?! Why do they have bound swords?! Why can they use Magicka?!' Asia thought as she defended herself from the attacks of the enemy swords while also defending herself from the destruction spells that her enemies sent her to try to overwhelm her, something that was working.

The battle that was taking place in the fortress of Marie's kidnappers was being very fierce and difficult, especially for Asia, who had not been able to defeat any of her enemies, as they used her friends as meat shields to force her to stop their attacks, leaving her vulnerable each time.

'If it weren't for my balance breaker, they would have defeated me a long time ago.' Asia thought as she jumped back several times, dodging several attacks from her enemies, who were throwing destruction spells at her such as fireballs, ice spikes, lightning, and other things. Although Asia's battle with these guys was tough, fortunately for her, Walburga had not intervened at all, but instead spent her time throwing sarcastic and poisonous comments at her from time to time.

Three of Walburga's subordinates attacked Asia head-on, beginning to attack her with their swords, which were rejected by «Anseichim», causing sparks to fly from one side to the other.

Asia jumped back, gaining distance, then quickly sent Magicka to her sword and caused it to be covered in fire, which she released in the form of a burst of energy as she made a horizontal slash.

Asia's attack was directed against her enemies, who once again put the bodies of Edzard's group members as shields, trying to make Asia dispel the attack, but they did not know that Asia's attack was not directed towards them, but rather it was directed towards the ground.

BOOOMMM!

A large explosion occurred when Asia's attack hit the ground, raising a large cloud of dust and smoke, which covered the area.

'Well, I'm ready.' Asia thought as she saw how dust and smoke covered the place. Taking the position, she had previously used to finish off Walburga's fire puppets, Asia prepared to begin her chant, but unlike the previous time, this time, her curtain of smoke and dust was dissipated by a powerful gust of wind, which emerged from a magic circle, whose origin was Walburga's right hand.

"No, no, no…. You don't think I'm going to let you do the same thing again, do you?" Walburga asked sarcastically as she looked at Asia. However, that was not the only thing she did, since before the eyes of Edzard's wife, the magician took out a scroll, which she opened.

Asia, who had stood still when she saw the smoke screen being dissipated, felt that the spell contained in that scroll was dangerous, so, not wanting to know what would happen if the magician released it, she quickly decided to stop her, so, wasting no time, she used a destruction spell. She opted for this because magic spells using the earth magic system were relatively slow and could not be used in surprise attacks, since you had to create a visible magic circle. So, moving her hand, Asia used thirty percent of her remaining Magicka to launch a fire spear.

Asia's attack shot out like a rocket, crossing the space between her and Walburga at high speed, who looked at the attack in amazement. The spear looked like it would hit the magician, but before the spell could do so, it was intercepted by three spells, which were cast by the subordinates who had defeated the rest of the girls.

BOOOOMMMM!

The collision of the attacks caused a large explosion, thus preventing the magician from being damaged.

"Heh! Nice try, brat! But by missing that attack, you lost!" Walburga shouted as she opened the scroll and used the spell contained within it.

A sphere of golden light appeared in Walburga's hand which she quickly threw towards the ground. The moment the sphere touched the ground, it created an explosion of golden light that moved at high speed.

Seeing how that light was approaching quickly, Asia began to jump back to escape from it, but no matter how much she moved, it seemed like she couldn't escape, because the light was very fast. Seeing that, she decided to fly, to escape the range of the attack. However, unfortunately for her, that would be useless, because the moment the light touched her, Asia fell unexpectedly to the ground.

BOOOM!

Asia's body generated a huge explosion when it collided with the ground, raising a large amount of dust, which covered the impact area.

"AGHHHH…" Asia groaned as she tried to get up, only to not be able to do so. The reason why the ex-nun couldn't get up was very simple, the entire area where the battle was taking place was bathed in a golden aura, which was the result of the spell that Walburga had used. While she continued trying to get up, because even though she couldn't do it, Asia had not given up, so she was using her strength to try to get up.

'I-I-I can't believe she had a scroll with a spell like this.' Asia thought as her forehead filled with sweat and her muscles began to ache from the force she was using to try to get up. 'I have to get up quickly, while I'm in this state I'm easy prey.'

Despite that thought, the young ex-nun could not move, as she felt that her weight was increasing. This was because the spell that had been inscribed on the scroll that Walburga used was called «gravisphere», a spell that created a golden sphere, which affected a certain area, increasing or decreasing the gravity of the place. Asia knew about that spell because Edzard used to use it on Marie whenever he wanted to make their daughter levitate for a moment while they were playing. While she hadn't been able to confirm what that spell was because she hadn't been able to lift her face, she knew that was the only way Walburga could have caused this.

'This is bad... t-the pressure I feel is too much, I feel like my body will be crushed at any moment.' Asia thought as she moved her head with difficulty to be able to see Walburga and when she did, she saw how in her hand there a small golden sphere was, which symbolized the spell. Turning her head slightly, Asia also saw the large golden sphere that was several meters above the battlefield. The sphere was as big as a one-story house, so that showed that it was a very overcharged spell, since normally gravispheres were not that big. That sphere is bigger than I thought that spell is very overloaded-'

Asia's thinking was interrupted when she heard footsteps near her and turning her head with difficulty, she could see that Walburga had descended, being less than a hundred meters away from her.

"You really were harder to capture than your little friends." Walburga said as she approached Asia. "For a moment I thought I would have to retreat when I saw that you defeated the puppets generated by my sacred gear, but fortunately that was not the case. When my subordinates told me that they had already captured them, I knew that I could use them to hold you back long enough so that I could use this… Nice, right? You know, when I found out that there was magic in that other world, I never expected that they would have a way to make non-magician be able to use any magic by inscribing it on a piece of paper, but now that I see it, I understand that they are more powerful than we expected."

Walburga's words were accompanied with a smug smile that only made Asia angrier with every second she saw her. In fact, the magician seemed to widen her smile when she saw Asia frown.

"Heh, heh, heh… The way you frown is beautiful." Said Walburga, who had already become less than a step away from Asia. The magician's eyes landed on Asia, and she unexpectedly kicked Edzard's wife in the face. The kick landed hard on Asia's face, causing her to move a little, but because Asia still had her balance breaker active, she did not receive any damage. However, even though Asia was not harmed, the magician did not stop, and she continued kicking Asia in various parts of her body, and while she did that, she screamed. "You're not so defiant now, are you, bitch?!"

The magician's blows did not cause anything to Asia, only her body moved due to the impact, but nothing more. Seeing that, the Hexennacht magician began to get angrier, and she tried to hit harder. However, upon seeing that her attacks were not working, her anger became more visible, since she wanted to cause wounds, to see her scream in pain, but she was not achieving it, since her sacred gear was protecting her. So, since she didn't know how long Asia's balance breaker would remain active, the magician began to think about how to make her deactivate it. She thought for a few seconds, until she finally realized something and looking at Asia, she smiled a macabre smile.

Looking at her subordinates, the Hexennacht magician ordered them to bring the other girls down, but to do so in the farthest corners of the place. When Walburga's subordinates, who accepted, reached the corners, they roughly threw away the girls' bodies. At the same moment that they were no longer on the shoulders of those who had defeated them, they began to be affected by the increase in gravity, causing them all to let out moans of pain and discomfort even though they were unconscious.

Seeing the way her friends were treated, Asia's anger began to rise, causing her to growl in a threatening manner. However, far from causing any fear in Walburga, the way Asia growled and the fact that she was under the effects of a powerful spell made the magician feel confident and kneeling, she took Asia's face in her hands.

"Disable your balance breaker, brat." Walburga ordered as she squeezed Asia's face. The response she received from Asia was one that the magician knew she would receive, since she knew that Edzard's wife was not stupid, but she did know that she was too kind and there was something she could force her to do that. So, smiling macabrely, the magician spoke. "You have seven seconds to disable your balance breaker, otherwise your dear friends will suffer the consequences."

The magician's words caused Asia's eyes to widen in surprise, which soon turned into horror when she moved her face and watched as Walburga's subordinates had their weapons ready to attack her friends. Fear and worry ran through Asia's veins, causing her to think erratically at that moment, since despite having her sacred gear activated, when her friends had disappeared, she deactivated the aura of power that she used to create to protect them, as it consumed a lot of energy, and she had needed it to fight all her enemies. Now, even though she had the energy to create the area of effect, her mind was more focused on keeping her body unharmed from the consequences that the enormous gravitational pressure she was being subjected to could have.

"Time has started to run, brat." Walburga said as her smile began to grow. "It is true that we would prefer to capture them all, but the truth is that we can do without them, since the one that has the greatest value for us tactically is you, after all you are his wife, while they are only his lovers, so it would be easier to control him by having you and his daughter as hostages."

Walburga's words caused two things at the same time, first realization, because Asia finally knew why they wanted to capture them, and everything seemed to be to control her husband. The second was panic, because although the main concern that occupied her mind now was the safety of her daughter, she also did not want her friends to die, especially in front of her at a time like this.

"So, decide… Seven…" Walburga said, thus starting the countdown.

"…six…"

Asia's mind began to think of a way to save her friends, but she couldn't find one.

"...five…"

Walburga's voice began to make Asia more nervous.

"...Four…"

Asia began to feel like her stomach was heavier than normal.

"...Three... Hurry up, your time is running out..."

The magician's words made Asia begin to look at her friends, watching as Walburga's subordinates tightened their grip on their weapons, while placing a foot on the girls' abdomens, to keep them firm on the ground.

"...Two…"

Asia's eyes began to see how the blades of the weapons of Walburga's subordinates descended towards her friends, causing her vision of reality and time to distort, allowing her to see everything in slow motion. The sight of what was about to happen to her friends took its toll on her, causing her mind to remember all the good times lived with them, the laughter they shared, the hours of training, the quiet meals, the joint missions. She knew that she couldn't save them with her power now, but there was another way, so knowing that if she didn't hurry up they would die, Asia deactivated her sacred gear, letting out a painful moan as her body began to feel pain from the pressure she was being subjected to from the increased gravity.

"...One-" The final word of the count that would be the girls' death sentence died on the magician's lips when she saw how Asia's body glowed for a second, showing that the ex-nun was deactivating her balance breaker. Seeing this, the Hexennacht magician smiled and raised her hand, causing her subordinates to stop their attack. After that, the magician smiled sadistically and without warning, began to hit Asia with her boot, kicking her several times, first in the face and then, after stopping for a second and starting to walk, to the sides of her body.

"Urkk…" was the moan that Asia let out when the magician continued hitting her, causing her to feel pain in various parts of her body, especially on the sides of her body, where the magician was focusing more intently on the blows. However, despite the pain she was feeling at this moment, Asia's mind remained strong, because she knew that, if she resisted long enough, there was the slightest hope of being able to do something to get out of this situation. This hope was born from the knowledge she had about the scrolls.

'No matter how powerful this spell is, spells stored in scrolls have a maximum duration time, which is not long, maybe about ten minutes at most. So, I just must hold on long enough to be able to save the girls and end this.' That was the thought Asia had as she continued to resist the blows and pain.

As she attacked Asia, Walburga laughed maniacally with every blow she landed, especially those blows that caused the former nun to spit out some blood or hiss in pain. However, she was getting bored with what she was doing, so she stopped abruptly, giving Asia a moment to breathe.

"This is already getting boring…" Walburga said as she began to walk in circles around Edzard's wife. "Ummmm…. what should I do…. Continuing to hit you doesn't excite me at all... Ummm…. I know!"

Walburga's final shout was followed by the snap of the magician's fingers, who quickly looked at her subordinates, who had not moved from where they had previously been and beckoning them over. As her subordinates approached, the magician knelt and cupped Asia's face in her hands. "How about we play a new game? … A game where your beautiful screams of pain will fill this place until you pass out!"

After that shout, Walburga let go of Asia and took a few steps back, as her subordinates began to approach. The sound that accompanied the steps was serious, enough to carry the message that what was to come would not be pleasant for Asia.

Asia's eyes remained fixed on the Hexennacht magician, who looked more and more happy with each step her subordinates took, something that would have confused Asia if this were that scared girl who was excommunicated from the church, but the current version of her knew or at least sensed what would happen, so gritting her teeth she prepared for what was to come.

When Walburga's subordinates arrived at Asia's side, they positioned themselves in such a way that they surrounded her, covering her with their shadows. Moving their hands, they grabbed the weapons they had planned to kill the rest of the girls with, which were the light swords that all exorcists used.

"Let's start the game!"

Following Walburga's shout, which also served as an order, the magician's subordinates wasted no time and, raising their weapons, used monstrous precision to begin stabbing Asia in various parts of her body.

Asia began to feel like several of the parts of her body that were stabbed were non-lethal places, such as her hands, feet, thighs. This was because the magician wanted to harm Asia, not kill her... at least for the moment, since she was a valuable captive.

'Aghhh...' Asia mentally growled when one of Walburga's subordinates stabbed her in the right hand, causing her terrible pain, since she already had an earlier wound there, but despite that, she wouldn't give the magician the satisfaction of hearing her scream, no matter how hard they tried. However, while her mind resisted the pain, she was also analyzing her situation, although she did so with difficulty, since the constant injuries that were being caused meant that she could not concentrate too much on it. Even so, she was able to quickly understand that the enemy weapons were enchanted to steal Magicka and Stamina, which was why she was losing some of her power with each attack received. 'I have already lost more than sixty percent of my Magicka and eighty percent of my remaining stamina.'

While Asia began to worry about the loss of Magicka and stamina, Walburga glared at her, as the former nun was daring to take away her fun by not screaming, so upon seeing that, she was about to conjure one of her flames to burn one of her limbs, surely there she would scream. However, as she was about to do so, a magic circle appeared next to her ear, causing her to stop suddenly. Her eyes widened when she heard what the person on the other end of that call was telling her. Putting on a smile, the Hexennacht magician looked at her subordinates and raised a hand, causing them to stop abruptly.

"It looks like we will start with the second phase of plan A, guys. I have just been informed that the target has meet our spy, and he has managed to place him in the spell barrier, so you know what to do."

"Yes, Walburga-sama. However, what will you do?" asked one of the magician's subordinates, it being the first time in the entire battle that one spoke.

"I will stay here, taking care of our guests, since, if plan A fails, we will have to resort to the backup plan." Walburga responded.

"Understood, Walburga-sama. If you would be so kind."

"Of course." Walburga said as she used her Shadowkey to open a portal, through which all her subordinates entered.

When all of them passed through that portal, Walburga closed the portal and looked at Asia. The magician's gaze focused on Asia for a few moments, then moved her free hand and conjured several chains of darkness, with which she trapped the members of Edzard's group, and then dragged them abruptly towards her.

Falling gracefully after attacking Marcus, Edzard looked at the "exorcist" and, clenching his fists, said a phrase that left those present confused.

"Get up, I know you're not dead. I made sure not to use too much force in those attacks."

'How did he not use much force in those attacks?' Rias thought in amazement as she remembered what she had seen, because to her complete surprise, she had been able to see something of what Edzard had done. 'It made him spit out blood, not only that I'm sure I heard some of his bones break when he hit the ground.'

"Cough, Cough, Cough, Cough… Yes, I can see that…" Marcus said as he moved the debris that had trapped some parts of his body. "I knew that you, the Nirmnians, were more powerful than us, the humans of this world, but I did not expect this level of resistance. It's amazing what magically implanting a few stem cells into several important organs can do, but it seems like I'm talking too much. It doesn't matter, in the end no one will leave here alive."

"We'll see that." Edzard answered Marcus's words. "I'm going to get what you know out of you and when I'm done, I'll draw an eagle on your back in blood."

"Ha, we'll see about that, damn dragon." growled Marcus, who reached into the pocket of his priest's robes and pulled out a scroll. A smile appeared on the "exorcist's" face when he had said scroll in his hand, something that raised Edzard's suspicions.

'I don't know what's there, but the smell of magic that permeates that scroll reeks too much of Conjugation Magic, so it's something Daedric.' Edzard thought as he prepared to stop him before he released whatever the spell was inside that scroll. However, when he was about to attack, he felt the place shake and a magical presence became present.

"What's going on?!" Akeno shouted as she and the rest of her friends felt themselves suddenly become a little heavier.

"Don't know! My body feels heavier!" Rias shouted in response, who like the rest of her friends had also fallen to her knees.

'This is…? Yes, there is no doubt. This is the so-called extra-area of a gravisphere spell.' Edzard thought with concern. The extra areas were regions that, although they were outside the area of effect of a spell, it still had a very diluted influence there... in the case of gravispheres, if the gravity was increased, the gravity in the extra areas only increased slightly. Normally it wasn't that bad, but if it took you by surprise, well, you could fall to your knees just like the ORC members. 'They used a gravisphere. That's bad, I know that Asia doesn't know a spell as complicated as that, since it's master level and because of the strength it has, this only indicates that whoever used it has a large amount of Magicka. I must-'

"You let your guard down!" Marcus shouted as he finished opening the scroll and unleashed the spell that was inside of it.

Hearing the shout of the "exorcist", Edzard quickly looked at him and saw how a purple sphere appeared from the scrolls, which headed towards the ground and ended up causing a circle-shaped light to spread throughout the place.

'It's very fast.' Edzard thought as he saw how that light approached him at high speed. Seeing this, he was tempted to leave there, but when he looked back, he saw Issei and her friends, along with her daughters, so not knowing what that light would do, he didn't want them to be unprotected, because if they didn't die, they could be used as meat shields against him. So, showing off his great speed, he quickly put his hand into his pocket and taking out something, he threw it to Issei.

The small object traveled very fast, hitting the Sekiryuutei's head, causing him to fall on his back.

"Ouch… That hurt-!" What Issei was about to say died on his lips when the object that had hit his forehead, which was a carved stone, shone, blinding everyone for a moment.

The light lasted a second and when it died out, the ORC members saw that they were in some kind of whirlwind barrier... a barrier that Issei, Xenovia, Irina and Kiba recognized as one like the one Rossweisse had activated in Kyoto a while ago.

"What is this?" Ravel asked in amazement upon seeing the barrier.

"It is a barrier created by a Nirm item." Kiba responded quickly.

"A barrier? How do you know?" Akeno asked.

"Rossweisse-sensei used a similar one when we were in Kyoto." Irina responded seriously.

"I see…" Rias said as she placed a hand on her chin and looked at what was happening on the barrier in front of her.

Like the Gremory heiress, the other devils also watched what was happening, watching as the light, which was the spell inside the scroll, hit both Edzard and the barrier, darkening the place.

"So, you've placed them in a special barrier, huh." Marcus commented as he looked at Edzard.

"Of course, I'm not stupid. I know that if I left them unprotected you would use them as meat shields." Edzard said as he looked at Marcus, while clenching his fists, feeling a somewhat familiar sensation, something he hadn't felt in several years. 'This feeling is strange... not unknown, but nostalgic... Ummm... Why is that?... Well, it doesn't matter. I will get all the information straight from his head.'

"I hope you like this place; my master calls it «The Garden of Memory»." Marcus said as he put a hand to his ear and made a magic circle appear there. "Magician, the target took the bait, send them."

Hearing Marcus's words, Edzard raised an eyebrow, confused by Marcus's mention of a master. The Dovahkiin's action was seen by Marcus, who only smiled at him.

"Don't worry, you don't need to know more. I'll just say that I'm not an idiot, I know that I can't beat you alone, that's why I'm inviting some friends to the party."

After those words, several portals opened behind the "exorcist", through which several silhouettes emerged.

Seeing them arrive, Edzard moved his shoulders a little and brought his hand to his sword as he spoke in an icy tone. "I hope they are strong, because otherwise, this will be very easy…"

Asia saw how the bodies of her friends were dragged without any care, causing some minor injuries due to the blows generated by the pieces of debris that were on the road.

"You know, your reaction to our earlier game bothered me a lot, since you didn't scream at all. So, since I want to hear you scream and cry, I had decided to burn you a little with my sacred gear, but a good idea just occurred to me... what do you think... I kill your friends in front of your eyes!"

When Asia heard Walburga's words, she saw how she used her chains of darkness to throw the girls away, but not only that, but, surprisingly, she moved her hand and made a magic circle appear under Asia's body. From this circle several chains of darkness appeared, which trapped her, leaving her completely immobile.

"Did you really think that I wouldn't realize that you are planning to attack me when the gravity of the place returns to normal?! Don't think I'm stupid, girl!" Walburga shouted as she created a large cross of holy fire, the inside of which was hollow.

The cross of fire had been created around the girls that made up Edzard's group, placing them in a death trap.

"Stop…" Asia whispered as she saw how the fire approached her friends, who were crowded inside that cross, whose circumference was closing with each passing second. "Stop!"

Asia's scream caused Walburga to start laughing maniacally.

"Yes, I like that expression you make! Cry! Pray I don't kill them!"

Asia watched the flames approach her friends in such a focused manner that it took her a couple of seconds to realize that the Gravisphere spell had ended. The moment Edzard's wife's mind realized that she quickly tried to free herself, but due to the injuries she had and the low amount of Magicka and stamina she had left, she was unable to free herself, not only that, but that because the chains completely immobilized her, she was helpless in the face of what would be a great misfortune.

'No... It can't end like this! I can't let it end like this!' Asia thought as helpless tears began to form in her eyes. The ex-nun's heart began to feel heavy as her mind thought what she could do, but she couldn't do anything. However, even though she knew that she could not do anything, she did not give up, but, biting her lip until it bled, she made the pain make her focus so she could try to free herself from these chains. Using her strength, Asia began to try to break those chains again with brute force, at least if she couldn't free herself, she planned to be in a position that allows her to use the little Magicka she had left to try to save them somehow. While she was doing that, she didn't notice that her back began to glow slightly, as the magical tattoo she had gotten before leaving Aurbis began to glow, causing small golden flames to emerge from there.

The golden flames began to course through Asia's body, slowly healing her wounds. The flames were the manifestation of the «Avoid Death» ability, which due to Asia's unique hybrid physiognomy, manifested itself as small flames. However, that was not all that happened, because while she was healing, Asia's strength began to return to the point where, after noticing it, she managed to move enough to be able to put her hand in her back pocket.

When Asia's hand took what she was looking for, she quickly took it out in the fastest and safest way, because if that thing fell, it was the end of everything. When she finally had it close to her, she quickly unwrapped the rope that tied the object, for this was a scroll, which had been a wedding gift from what she could be considered her first friend in Nirm, Cindiri Arano. When she received it, she didn't know what it was, so she asked her former mentor, Collete, if she could tell her what this scroll was. It took them some time and study, but in the end, they discovered what it was. The scroll was an item created during the third era and was called "Scroll of the Argent Glow" and contained a powerful spell that would serve him well at this time.

Placing the scroll in one of her hands, Asia threw it into the air and as the scroll flew, it unwrapped and when it fell in front of Asia's eyes, she quickly saw what was inside.

"INVOKE SWIFTLY AND WISELY!" Asia shouted the words that were the last paragraph of the writings that were on the scroll. That scroll was different from those created in the Fourth Era, since it was necessary to know some Daedric writing, since they were written in that language. The spell inside the scroll was one that healed, and regenerated Magicka and stamina.

Asia's shout surprised Walburga, who stopped laughing when she heard it. Initially the magician was confused by the words that Asia shouted. However, that confusion turned to worry and later panic when she saw how the chains of darkness that held Asia were breaking thanks to the golden flames that were surrounding Asia. So, in a panic, the Hexennacht magician wasted no time and quickly cast several spells at Asia, trying to stop her.

The moment Asia felt like she was free, she quickly stood up and seeing the spells coming, she had to think in microseconds to decide. The options she had were three, the first was to dodge the attack, the second was to reject it with the little magic she had left, finally, the third was to use two skills together, which would allow her to recover part of her Magicka. These skills were «Absorb Magicka», which was a skill that her wards had, while the other was the ability that she inherited from her Breton blood, «Dragonskin». Knowing that this was her best choice, she stood her ground and raising her left hand, she created a ward with the little Magicka she had left, at the same time she activated her racial ability.

Walburga's spells, which were fireballs, hit the guard, causing several explosions, which surrounded Asia. While a normal person would start screaming in pain thanks to the flames and explosions, for Asia things were different. Although the flames and explosions caused her some injuries, the truth was that the pain she received was like that of getting burned a little by the stove, something that was bearable for her.

Walburga's gaze was fixed on the explosions surrounding Asia, keeping her gaze fixed and her sacred gear ready for anything, as she might need to cast holy fires soon. Her eyes remained fixed on the place, especially when the explosions stopped and filled the place with smoke, causing her some concern. However, she was surprised when out of nowhere, a golden crescent appeared from the smoke, dissipating it, and making its way towards her.

Seeing the attack coming, the Hexennacht magician quickly waved her hand and created a huge ball of holy fire, which headed towards the incoming attack. The two attacks continued their respective paths at high speed and ended up impacting, generating a large explosion that shook the place a little.

"Damn brat." Walburga growled when she realized that her target's wife had regained some of her power. That left her in a small mess, one that could put her life in danger. However, she still had a letter, so looking towards where the other women were, she quickly made the speed with which her cross closed increase, as it would show that brat the terror of seeing how her friends were converted in ashes.

Asia's eyes stopped seeing Walburga when she looked at her friends, so sensing what was coming, Asia prepared to do something, but even though on the outside she was showing a serious face, she was worried, because she didn't know if her current power could do something against the flames of Walburga's sacred gear. However, before she could even move a finger, she heard a voice in her mind.

'Ummm… looks like the One was right… looks like you need help, so be grateful, girl. Very few mortals receive the honor of using the flames of the dragon god of time.'

The words that passed through Asia's mind confused her, but not as much as the bright golden tongues of fire that appeared from her fingers. Confusion made Asia not know what to do at that moment, but before she could waste any more time, her voice spoke again.

'It seems like you don't understand what's happening and as much as I would like to explain everything to you properly, I don't have time. So, I'll just tell you, use what they call Balance Breaker in that world, girl. Use it soon, otherwise they will die.'

Still feeling confused by the fact that she once again had a voice speaking directly to her mind, but knowing that she had no time to hesitate, Asia took a deep breath before shouting. "Balance Breaker!"

The moment she shouted those words, her body was enveloped by a golden light, which blinded Walburga, causing her to lose control of the cross she had created for an instant, slowing it down. When the light went out, the Hexennacht magician's eyes widened in surprise, because before her, was Asia wearing armor very different from the previous one.

Asia's new form of balance breaker was a long-sleeved white tunic with light brown pants, above the pants was a black skirt, which was cut from both sides of her legs. Said skirt had gray embroidery, which was a crown being pierced by a sword. Above this clothing was a new armor, which was black with the edges of each piece in gold. The armor was composed of a cuirass, pauldrons, elbow cops, vambraces, gauntlets, and greaves. The armor was sober and elegant, hugging Asia's body in such a way that it streamlined her figure. On her head, the once horned tiara had given way to an elegant golden crown, which took the form of a golden laurel wreath adorned with green gems, shaped like stars. The crown did not rest directly on Asia's hair; no, it rested upon a black veil, which had dangling white gems that shone like tiny stars. Finally, the last big change to her balance breaker was the three pairs of multicolored magic wings that moved gently on her back. Those wings were like those angels had.

Asia's eyes were wide open when she saw her new armor, especially when she felt her wings, since it was something strange, it was like having a new pair of limbs. However, that sensation was not the only thing she felt, because she realized that she was more powerful than she was before, so much so, she could not pinpoint it, but she would have the opportunity to prove it soon.

Looking up, she saw that her friends were still in danger, so, looking at the cross of fire, she moved her hand and prepared to create a magic circle to try to save her friends. However, when she was about to cast a spell, that voice spoke again, giving her instructions for a spell. Therefore, carrying a part of her Magicka in her outstretched hand, Asia unleashed the spell.

As Asia watched in complete astonishment, a huge torrent of golden flames erupted from her hand, quickly approaching the cross of fire that threatened her friends. When Asia's spell hit the cross, it quickly began to fight against the purple holy fires and to Asia and Walburga's utter amazement, the golden flames were extinguished along with the purple flames.

The eyes of both Asia and Walburga were open, both with the same feeling, surprise. The magician was surprised that her holy fire, which was very powerful, had been swept away by golden flames that were not supposed to be more powerful, since they did not have the same feeling as the flames generated by her sacred gear. For her part, Asia was surprised to see that those flames had been able to save her friends, facing very powerful holy fires.

Although they were both surprised, Asia managed to quickly get out of her surprise and without wasting any time, she moved towards where her friends were. As she ran, she was forced to move in a zigzag pattern, because Walburga, who, also out of her surprise, began casting spells to stop Asia. However, seeing that her efforts were useless, Walburga aimed at Asia's friends and prepared to attack them, but she could not do so, as Asia threw a wind scythe at her, which caused Walburga to have to move, so she couldn't attack.

Asia's attack was essential for her to reach her friends. As she was next to her, she began to examine them and managed to see that none of them had lethal injuries. That made her understand why they were not emergency teleported to the palace. So, knowing that they were an easy target right now and that thanks to her current state she couldn't protect them with her aura, she took Ingvild's coin, which was the closest one, and broke it... However, nothing happened.

Seeing that, Asia got worried, because her plan was to get the girls out of this place, but apparently the coins were failing. So, knowing that in their current state they were very vulnerable, she began to think quickly about how to keep them safe. In the end, in her haste she could only think of one thing, so, taking out a focus stone, she activated a spheroid barrier, which covered the girls completely.

When she saw that her friends were protected as best as they could now, Asia turned and was amazed to see a huge ball of purple fire approaching her at dizzying speeds. The attack was so close that she couldn't counterattack, so unconsciously moving her wings that had her balance breaker, she rose abruptly, dodging the attack, which exploded when it hit a wall.

After dodging the attack, Asia looked forward and came face to face with Walburga.

"Don't think that by awakening a new version of your balance breaker you can defeat me, brat." Walburga growled with very poorly contained anger.

"We'll find out about that." Asia answered as she tightened her grip on her sword. "You attacked my friends, you sacrificed people's souls to fuel your power, and worst of all, you dared to kidnap my daughter…. Don't think you'd leave this place alive; you damn son of a bitch!

Asia's scream contained all the anger she had built up over the current events and caused the Hexennacht magician to feel a shiver run down her spine. After that scream, Asia moved her new wings and with great speed, she threw herself at the magician, ready to punish her for all the pain she had caused her, her friends and, above all, for the suffering her daughter must be going through.

The once beautiful and peaceful mountain landscape of a part of western China was completely interrupted and shattered by a huge magic circle and the hundreds of explosions that filled the place. These explosions were the product of the attack by the Nilhrem magicians, who were attacking Vali's team.

[Divide] [Divide] [Divide] [Divide] [Divide] [Divide]

Albion's voice resounded in the air, dividing the power of several of the attacks of the various magicians, who were attacking the half-devil's team with almost everything they had with only one mission, that of capturing Ophis, which was under the protection of Vali.

[These magicians keep appearing like flies]

"Yes." Vali, who was in his balance breaker, responded. After those words, the young man quickly began to fly and using his great speed, he began to navigate among all the magicians, destroying several of them with his blows.

While Vali killed every magician who crossed his path left and right, one of his teammates did the same. Bikou fought using his youkai abilities to defeat any enemy that crossed his path.

"Ha, ha, ha! Come on, try to catch me!" Bikou shouted as he flew on a golden cloud, dodging the magicians' elemental spells. After dodging several attacks, the young youkai monkey used his staff and with a quick movement, it increased its size to several meters. With the new size of his staff, the descendant of the first monkey king made a lateral sweep, carrying with that movement several of his enemies, who due to the force of the attack ended up being sent to the ground, creating several craters upon impact.

"Heh, which was easy. However, there is still more." Bikou said with a smile to start flying towards where the rest of the magicians were.

While Bikou fought in the air together with Vali, on the ground two other combatants were fighting. One of them was Arthur, who moved through the steep terrain of the area, dodging all the enemy attacks that threatened to hit him. The heir of House Pendragon moved gracefully and when he saw that his enemies were at a good angle of attack, he quickly moved and using a stone as a platform, he took a great leap. When he was in the air, Arthur unleashed the power of his holy sword Caliburn, unleashing an explosion of holy power that wiped out a more than considerable number of enemy mages.

"This side is clean… how are you doing Kuroka?" Arthur asked, looking to the side for a moment, watching his teammate fight off another large portion of the invading magicians.

"Alright, ~nya." said the cat with a smile.

"Yes, I can see it." Arthur said as he saw how many the magicians were dead on the ground, thanks to the poisonous fog that Kuroka had created.

The nekoshou just smiled, and then threw a senjutsu ball towards one end, creating an explosion that ended up eliminating several enemy magicians.

"They are numerous, but not at all powerful ~nya." Kuroka said as she narrowed her eyes as she watched hundreds of magicians appear thanks to the magic circle that was in the sky.

"Yeah. They don't stop appearing." commented Vali, who descended until he was next to Kuroka and Arthur, who had approached the nekomata when she dispelled the poisonous mist.

"Why do you think they are attacking us?" Arthur asked.

"I have a guess, I've been hearing some rumors, but nothing confirmed." Vali replied as he looked at the magicians. The half-devil looked at the magicians with some disappointment, since they were not rivals that made his blood accelerate. "If we want to know what is happening, we will have to-"

Vali's words were interrupted when out of nowhere a golden spear crossed the skies until it hit the magic circle that was there. Before everyone's gaze, said magic circle exploded into hundreds of pieces and then gave way to a rain of golden fire, which fell in the form of fireballs. The fireballs began to massacre all the magicians who were flying below the place where the magic circle once was.

The screams of hundreds of people being burned to death and the stench of charred flesh were present, causing some discomfort among those present.

"What the fuck just happened?" asked Bikou, who had had to descend towards where his teammates were to avoid being hit by the attack.

"I just eliminated a pest." A voice behind everyone's back responded.

The moment everyone heard it, they turned their heads back, observing the owner of the voice.

"Zakir…" Vali whispered as he saw the humanoid fox arrive.

"Looks like something fun has been going on around here. Could you tell me what happened?"

Author's note:

To those who have made it this far, Thanks for reading. Because being honest, I don't know how to write much in English and I'm relying on Google translators and the dictionaries that come with office 2019.

And chapter 63 is ready XD.

Wow... I'll just say that this chapter has been difficult due to time constraints. Nevertheless, I believe it has turned out well.

Regarding the chapter, we see that the Dovahkiin is fighting with Marcus, demonstrating who is stronger. For Asia, I had thought of a darker scene in the battle, bordering on a somewhat controversial topic, but in the end, I didn't have the stomach to write it. As for her new balance breaker, let's say I'll explain something related to it later and the reason why it differs from the canon version.

Well, I apologize for any misspelling. Do not forget to leave a review if you liked the chapter or if there is something that needs to be improved or if you have any questions about the story. Also, any constructive advice is welcome. With nothing more to say, until the next chapter.
