This story begins somewhere in Belgium where four friends : Ed, Al, Sim and Ash, meet for a film evening in the cinema of their city. Until then, their evening was absolutly great, typically an evening where friends meet when they have not seen each other for a few months because of the courses, the university,…. But, it is during this special moment of friendship that their fate will change drastically.
Before we enter this story you must know that this group of friends hold the secret from one of their members : Ash. He has certain faculties that can make him a hero or your biggest nightmare, certain faculties such as a sort of metamorphosis/transformation that can summon an armor around him( much like Sauron from lord of the ring who has two forms: elf and the other a big man in armor) but all this power use a great amount of energy from him so he can't use his power as he wishes. He use all this for the greater good but choose to remain hidden as well as to keep his identity hidden but his friends are the only ones who know about that.
No one POV :
"So guys, what are we watching tonight ?" ash asks to his friends.
"It's October 31st and who says October 31st says Halloween and who says Halloween says horror movie!" Al replied while driving the car to the cinema and try to find a place to park the car.
"Hell yeah !/ I like te sound of that !" came the replies from Ed and Sim who were at the backseat from Al's car.
The group enter the cinema and go to the desk to buy the tickets for a movie with a weird guy who wears a white mask and kills people.
"Evening gentlemen, what can i do for you ?" asks the employee from the cinema "you came here for a night of shiver?" the boys laugh at that.
"you bet" Al says while picking his wallet. "four tickets for « Halloween » please !" he asks to the employee.
While the boys buy the tickets, Ash stay a bit behind and watch all the people live their lives : parents with their children, couples,… he watch all them with a sad expression on his face and nearly jump when he feel a hand on his shoulder and turns his head to watch whose hand it is.
"Hey, you alright there, buddy?" came Sim with a face full of worry.
Ash looks at him with a sad smile and reply "Yeah, i'm fine don't worry about me." He start to walk away to join the two others while Sim watch him walk away with a frown, he sighs and join them as well.
After they have bought some candies, popcorn and soda "So Ed, wich room?" Ash ask.
Ed took the tickets and check the room and the seat. " room 7 seat L8, L9, L10 and L11". here they are in the room with a good seat and start to watch the film after the long moment of the advertisings and trailers of other movies.
"oh, the next that film looks awesome!" "yeah, but the last one was not that good hope this one will be like the first otherwise it will sucks" Sim replied to Al. everything was going great, the film was good and worthy of Halloween when they all suddenly start to feel dizzy and tired.
"Uhhh guys, I don't feel so good right now!" Al start to speak but not to high to not disturb other spectators.
"you too? Strange.. what about you guys?" Ed ask to Sim and Ash.
"Same here! you?" Sim ask to Ash as well.
" No but something is wrong, i can sense it. We have to get out right now!" Ash says a bit too high "SSSSSSHHHHHHHHHH" the other spectators were annoyed because of the noisy boys.
"yeah I think i will go to the bathr..." Ed stops himself and fell to the ground
"Ed!, wake up dude" Ash say while kneeling beside him and try to shake him awake. "Okay guys, something is really REALLY wrong" he nearly yelled. but when he get no answers he stand back up and can now see that Al and Sim have disappeared. " guys?" when he looks down he could only panick when he saw that Ed is gone has well and when he looks around he was not in the cinema anymore everything was black. Without any other seconds Ash summons his armor and start to look for the origins of all this mess but he could only see the dark.
He suddenly start to feel something,or someone, Ash generate a flame in his right hand to try to see in this darkness and to see this presence «Show yourself!» but no one move in the light. This causes somme irritation in Ash who use this flame all around like a flamethrower and there he saw it: a turtle but this turtle is ot like other turtle, it's big like really really big and it walks on his hind legs
«what the fuck is that?!» Ash thought, « who are you?» he ask to the turtle.
« fear not, young one! I mean you no harm.» the turtle says with a warm smile
«you didn't answer my question, creature! I will not ask a second time» Ash says in a hostile tone but the turtle didn't flinch. Confuse and disturb by what is happening around him: his friends have vanished , he doesn't know where he is « what's happening? where are they? where are my friends?»
« My my, what a temper, young one.. you remind me of one of my pupils. But first to answer you, i'm Master Oogway and for your friends you don't have to worry about them, they will be fine…for what's happening i'm sorry to tell you that you will have to find that by yourself but know that your fate is no longer in your own world.» Oogway told him hoping to at least easing the turmoil in Ash but this only confuse him even more.» I sense that you're unbalanced, Ash. If you want to help your friends to accomplished their destiny as well as yours, you will have to find peace and accept what happens in your past» Oogway frowns when he sees that his words didn't calm Ash at all.
«no longer in my own world?! Unbalanced?! MY PAST?! you don't know me, old man!» Ash's blood was starting to boil «How all this is even possible? i'm talking to a turtle who is acting like Master Yoda» Ash sighs, being angry will get him nowhere. « what do you want me to do?»
A smile find his way on Oogway « first you will have to find them and then you will know, take care young one» and the turtle start to disappear»
«wait, Oogway!» Ash start to run after him but is not able to catch up with him and Oogway was gone like that. «ppppffffffff, crap! what am i going to do now?» he ask himself. Soon, he began to fall but to fall in nothing at all, no water, no ground in sight « WWWHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAA» he yell at the top of his lungs. A light start to grow on the «dark ground» like a portal and soon he found himself in a free fall and was coming down real quick and real fast.
He saw that the trees began to grow bigger and closer « Oh shi….» he was not able to finish his sentence as he hit the ground and lose consciousness.
