Author's note: this story takes place after breaking dawn 2, Mike's married to Avrail, a girl from forks high school, it's from Avrail's POV
The rain was pouring in the parking lot, Mike was going to be at work for a few more hours. Avrail had stopped by the sporting store to spend some time with him. She was walking through the puddles to get to her car. When she opened the door, she heard a noise in the back, she went to check it out, and there was a large pile of fur fur back there. Avrail couldn't guess what would leave that pile behind, there were animals in the woods, but this one had to have thick fur. As she was driving out of the parking lot, she passes Bella and her niece that was living with her. The girl was 7, and was always with Bella or Edward. Bella spent a lot of her time at the Reservation, Sam the chief of the reservation watched Edward's niece for her. Avrail continued on her way home, when she got their, she decided on spaghetti for dinner. Mike like her spaghetti, she put a small pinch of sugar in it like her grandmother had.
When Mike got home she told him about the fur. He wasn't surprised, he said that he found large piles of fur before and that it seemed someone was shaving their pets in the parking lot. He told her that a husky and wolf mix had been in parking lot a few weeks ago, a lady had caught gum in his hair, and pulled out a pair of cutters to trim him down. Avrail replied that made sense and she would be on the lookout for that animal lady next time. Mike and her ate diner and, then went to the candle lite back yard, they could hear howling. She and Mike joked that the wolves in the area must be reacting to her grandma's spaghetti.
The next morning Mike woke her up, he needed to help stock the shelves at work. There had been a lot of customers after he left last night and the shelves were empty. Avrail offered to come in and help him. Mike said she could, and after arriving at the store, Avrail saw the shelves were empty like Mike said they'd be. After stocking the shelves, Jacob from the reservation came in, he was looking for solar flashlights. Mike said they had them in stock and showed him the section they would be in. After getting 8 flashlights, he went up to the counter. Avrail followed to check him out, since Mike was busy stocking still, She was having trouble with the draw. Jacob motion to give it a hit, Avrail tried that, and it opened. He bought his merchandise and went back to his car.
The canoes in the Isle were hanging, she asked how many they sold. She thought they'd be high seller, here in forks everything reachable at that level in the water. Mike said they were a high seller and they sold a few a week. The store door opened and a group of 10 came in the store. There was a hiking competition in town and people were buying supplies. After the group left Mike coworker came in. As they were driving home Avrail looked out the window and there was more fur on the road, Mike laughed at her expression and said it was just fur. Avrail was on the lookout for more on the way home, but didn't see anymore.
