Wendy Testaburger was sitting in class, completely bored out of her mind. The teacher was several minutes late, and some of her classmates were considering leaving.
"Butters, let's leave school!"
"B-but, Eric, won't we get in trouble?"
"Of course not, Butters! There's a law that states that if a teacher is 10 minutes late, we can leave and not get in any trouble whatsoever! And the teacher is 12 minutes late!"
"Well, I guess I'll leave if that's the case!"
"Knew you'd come around to it, my pal! Chum, old buddy!"
Cartman and Butters left the classroom, but at that moment, Mr Garrison walked in and saw them.
"BOYS, YOU TWO ARE GETTING F'S FOR THE WHOLE UNIT FOR LEAVING!!!!"
"Aw, shucks!!"
Wendy found the two boys getting into trouble pretty funny, but it was the only interesting thing that had happened in 12 minutes. Hopefully, Mr Garrison finally arriving would put an end to her boredom.
"Now, children, there is a new girl coming to your classroom! Say hello to Lily Palomi!"
Lily Palomi had a navy blue coat, along with dark brown hair that was tied up behind her head in a pigtail. Her left cheek was also sparkling, for whatever reason.
Wendy, trying to ignore the cheek sparkling, tried to make small talk when Lily sat next to her. "How are you feeling about moving here? Do you like it?", she had asked.
Lily turned to Wendy and looked her up and down with an expression of disgust on her face. Lily then turned her face back to the board without saying a single word.
Wendy found this very rude, but tried not to let it get to her. What did get to her, however, was when the sparkles from Lily's cheek hit a container of gasoline that Mr Garrison had out, and set the whole room on fire.
Everybody lived except for Kenny, but it was still very dangerous and anxiety-inducing. Wendy was now very suspicious of this Lily Palomi girl.
Before, she could say anything, the bell for lunch rung, and every kid's mind instantly shifted to lunch.
"Kyle, how could God let Kenny die like that!? Why!? WHYYYYYY- oh, shit, lunch is here."
At lunch, Wendy couldn't shake the feeling that there was something suspicious about that Lily girl. She hadn't shown up to lunch due to getting in trouble for starting the fire, so Wendy could talk all the shit she wanted to.
"What's up with that Lily girl? She was acting really weirdly! She gave me a really dirty look when I tried talking to her, and you guys already know about the sparkles…"
"Really?", Bebe asked out of curiosity.
"Yes, really."
"I thought the way she moved was really weird", Heidi chimed in. "She didn't have any natural-looking mannerisms."
"You don't have any natural-looking mannerisms, Heidi", Lola argued.
"Well, at least I move in an obviously human way!! That Lily girl moved really weirdly…"
"Well, we can only figure out more when she gets back, so we'll have to be patient", Nichole pointed out.
Wendy knew that Nichole was correct, but she still couldn't get her mind off of the topic. This topic stuck with Wendy for the rest of the day and the day afterwards, at least until she was met with a surprise in the school newspaper…
