AN: I do not own the property Naruto. It is owned by Masashi Kishimoto. I simply wanted to tell
my own version of his greatness. Another quick thing to note, the first chapter of this story has
no dialogue. This is just a brief background of my world and Naruto's family tree. I have
changed a great deal to suit the story to my own personal tastes, but I hope you enjoy it. A quick
disclaimer, CRA is likely he is royalty in this story, dialogue will occur in the actual story, and
actual fight scenes will happen. Again this chapter is just laying the groundwork for what I hope
to be a grand saga.
Chapter One: A Familial Background
A six year old with black hair was walking through a battlefield. His name was
Hashirama Senju. Hashirama was a medic at heart. That was why he was walking through the
battlefield of one of the old Senju Clan Compounds. His life was hard, and he felt if he could
help the people around him maybe they would not have to live like him. He already knew his
friend Madara had a very similar life, but he wanted to make sure no one else had to live like
him. There were no survivors. Of course his father, Butsuma Senju, said there would be no
survivors, but Hashirama had a gut feeling. That was when he found him. A baby with
white-silver hair and red eyes. He was clearly the only Senju survivor in this battle. It was at that
moment history would forever change. Hashirama decided as the Clan Heir of the Senju, he had
to take him in. It was at that point Tobirama Senju was born, and the Senju Brothers would rise
to power in the Elemental Nations.
Timeskip: 20 Years Later
It had been two decades since that fateful night. Hashirama would never regret adopting
his baby brother into his family, but there were major issues. Madara had turned against their
dream and forced Hashirama to kill him, at what was now known as, The Valley of the End. It of
course was an epic battle, but it took its toll on Hashirama. Ever since that battle, he had stepped
down as Hokage of Konohagakure. He believed that if he could not save a single friend he was
not worthy of the title of Hokage. Once he returned, the people of Konoha selected his younger
brother, Tobirama Senju, to lead them as the Nidaime Hokage. Hashirama was now just the Clan
Head of the Senju Clan. He did not mind this since ever since he returned he had not bested his
little brother in battle. He believed that he would never be able to reach his peak ever again, and
he would most likely be crippled for the rest of his life. He of course knew that a crippled
Hashirama Senju was the second most powerful shinobi in the world, but that was why he was
okay with Tobirama stepping up. It was official that his prodigy of a younger brother was
stronger than him. He believed they called him the Water God now. He laughed at the thought of
shinobi and their nicknames. It was at that moment he coughed up some more blood. Hashirama
Senju would die soon, and the only people who knew were: Tobirama, Mito, Ashina, and
Butsuma. The four of them were his family. Ashina was Mito's adoptive father and Daimyo of
Uzushiogakure. Tobirama of course was his little brother. Mito was his wife, and Butsuma was
his oldest child. How he loved his children. He loved Butsuma, Tsunade, and Nawaki evenly. He
truly believed that they would usher in a new generation. He just knew Butsuma was the only
one mature enough to understand their father was dying.
Timeskip: Five Years Later
The Senju Clan and all of Konoha were mourning the death of Hashirama Senju, the
Shodaime Hokage. Most of the Uzumaki Royal Family was even in attendance. Butsuma's
arranged fiance Akari Uzumaki, the granddaughter of Ashina Uzumaki, was one of the more
notable figures in the crowd of Uzumakis. The Nidaime however did not shed a single tear.
Tobirama Senju had received word that the new shinobi system would be put to the test soon.
Hashirama's dream was crumbling around him. The Elemental Nations would soon begin their
First Shinobi World War. The people his beloved older brother gave the Biju for that exact reason
were now plotting against Konohagakure because Hashirama Senju, the Shodaime Hokage, God
of Shinobi, was dead. He would have to show these people why he was called the Water God.
Tobirama Senju would protect his village, his wife, Akane Namikaze, his son, Daisuke Senju,
and all of his students.
Timeskip: Five Years Later
The First Shinobi World War had finally come to an end. Tobirama's students were
flourishing, and his family was happy. Daisuke had even started to date Hiruzen's sister, Emi
Sarutobi. From what he could gather, Hashirama's family was also doing well. Butsuma would
soon be sent to Uzushiogakure to lead the people alongside Akari. The Senju, Uchiha, and
Hyuuga were the three noble clans of the Land of Fire, but nobility did not out rank royalty.
However, Tobirama was glad Konohagakure and Uzushiogakure would continue to maintain
strong ties. He loved his cousins on those string of islands.
Timeskip: Five Years Later
Tobirama had just received news that Butsuma and Akari had given birth. The child's
name was Kushina Uzumaki. She had to take the name of the royal clan, and that would not
change unless she married another royal or a noble. If Kushina married a royal she would take
upon his last name, but if Kushina married a noble she would hyphenate the two names in
alphabetical order. Tobirama was really hoping for the latter. His son, Daisuke, and Daisuke's
wife, Emi, had just given birth and it was a boy. The two children were only days apart, and
Tobirama believed it to be a sign from Kami. His grandson Minato Senju and Kushina Uzumaki
were surely meant to be.
However all of Tobirama's dreams and happiness would soon come crashing down, when
he would receive word from one of his newly formed ANBU Agents of what had happened to
his cousin clan. A knock came to his door, and it was none other than one of his personal guards.
Behind his personal guard, there was a clear Uzumaki Clansmen holding a baby. He could
clearly tell something was wrong. The Uzumaki was not of the Royal Bloodline, but he was
holding a member of the Royal Family. All members of the Royal Family had the same set of
unique skills, but the other branches of the Uzumaki only had one. He could sense it through the
man's chakra and the baby's own. The girl was clearly going to be something special. However
all of his thoughts were proven mute, when the ANBU left and the Uzumaki explained why he
was here. Uzushiogakure had been destroyed. Kumogakure, Kirigakure, Sunagakure, and
Iwagakure had formed a special alliance to take down the might of the Uzumaki. Tobirama was
outraged. These people were his family, and his nephew and niece-in-law had both been killed in
action. The Uzumaki had explained he held Kushina Uzumaki. She was supposed to be the last
of the Royal Bloodline. His great niece would never know her parents because of the paranoia
and greed of the shinobi world. Ashina Uzumaki had supposedly used some forbidden Fuinjutsu
to take down the rest of the invading army after it was clear he had lost. Ashina had been over a
100 years old and took down the might of four invading armies. This was the reason people
feared the Uzumaki above all. Their Fuinjutsu prowess made them practically gods. Not a single
non-Uzumaki could even step foot on any of the Uzumaki Islands anymore, and Tobirama
believed Ashina wanted it that way. The remainder of his people could come back home without
any fear, but it would be too late. The retainers were most likely all dead, and the rest of the clan
besides a select few were also most likely dead. The Royal Uzumaki Bloodline would live in
Konohagakure until it was safe for them to return. This would mean war. Tobirama Senju was a
tactical man, but he was also a family man. Apparently, the great nations had gone behind their
Daimyos' backs to attack Uzushiogakure. The Daimyos had established laws protecting all of
them. They were royalty after all, and the Uzumaki fell under those laws. Tobirama and his war
council knew that, and the four nations that attacked Uzushiogakure would not be getting
funding if Konohagakure went to war. He had also been informed shortly after the news reached
him that the Fire Daimyo was furious. The Royal Family of the Fire Nation were extremely close
to the Uzumakis, and they were demanding blood. Tobirama would happily give that blood to
them.
It took one month after the destruction of the Uzumaki Clan and Uzushiogakure for the
Elemental Nations to be plunged into its Second Great Shinobi World War. It would again be
Kiri, Kumo, Suna, and Iwa against Konoha. However, Tobirama and his village were not afraid.
They had the Senju, Uchiha, and Hyuuga. These three clans were feared by all, and if Tobirama
had anything to say about it, the Elemental Nations would remember why they feared the Senju.
Three months after the Second Shinobi World War had started Tobirama and his students
were trapped. The Kage of all Four Major Hidden Villages were there. Apparently, they had also
brought along all other S-Rank shinobi each village had. Tobirama could sense it. This would
most likely be his resting place. However, Tobirama Senju would ensure it would be the other
Four Kages resting place as well. He informed his six students of the plan, and instructed
everyone that from that day forth Hiruzen Sarutobi was the Sandaime Hokage. The only thing he
asked of Hiruzen was for him to protect his family and village. With those words, Tobirama
Senju rushed into battle.
Konoha would sing Tobirama Senju's praises for eternity. He had defeated all Four
Kages, and there were only four survivors of his glorious battle. A the new Raikage, Onoki the
new Tsuchikage, Botan Sabaku the new Kazekage, and Arata Hozuki the new Mizukage, were
the only survivors. It was now a new age in the shinobi world. It was the age of the Sandaime
Kages.
The war lasted another 10 years. Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Sandaime Hokage, led
Konohagakure to its first ever victory without the lead of the Senju Clan. It was also with the
naming of a Sarutobi as Hokage, that the Sarutobi Clan was granted the status of nobility. It was
now the Senju, Uchiha, Hyuuga, and Sarutobi that were the four noble clans of the Land of Fire.
However, the Second Shinobi World War also came with great loss. Tsunade Senju was now the
last living child of Hashirama Senju. There of course was Kushina Uzumaki running around with
Hashirama's blood, but she was his granddaughter. Hiruzen also could not protect Tobirama's son
or his own sister. The grandson of Tobirama Senju was orphaned. Hiruzen of course would not
allow that and adopted him as his own child, but his birth parents would never be able to see him
grow up. It was rather ironic that both grandchildren of Hashirama and Tobirama were orphaned.
Hiruzen also felt great sadness at the fact that the Senju Clan had been reduced to civilians, Mito,
Tsunade, and Minato. This all felt like some grand plan by someone in the shadows, but Hiruzen
did not want to be paranoid. However, there was one major issue that still needed to be solved.
Mito was dying. The Kyubi would need to be sealed into a new Jinchuriki. Mito had told him
that only the chakra of the Uzumaki would be able to hold it, so he knew that Kushina would
need to make a major sacrifice. However, he and Mito would wait until she was on her deathbed.
After all, Kushina was only 10 and Mito and Tsunade had practically raised her. There were good
things that came out of the war though. Tsunade had found a lover in Dan, and she along with his
two other students had been named, the Three Legendary Sannin. Hiruzen had also been named
the Second God of Shinobi, and Konohagakure was still considered the strongest hidden village
by a wide margin.
Timeskip: 10 Years Later
Hiruzen was extremely proud. His adoptive son had just gotten married. Minato Senju
and Kushina Senju-Uzumaki were officially married. Hiruzen could not have asked for a better
son. Hiruzen's first biological son even loved Minato more than himself. That fact kind of
disheartened Hiruzen, but Hiruzen was proud nevertheless. Minato was a prodigy unlike
anything he had ever seen. Hiruzen had used that word to describe his student, Orochimaru, but
truly no one held even a snippet of Minato's genius. His intellect was through the roof. His
chakra and control over said chakra was crazy. He was a practical carbon copy of his Sensei,
Tobirama Senju, but Minato was just better. Minato was the student of Hiruzen's other student
Jiraiya, and that granted him access to the contract of the Toads of Mt. Myoboku. Minato was
faster than everyone else, stronger than everyone else, and smarter than everyone else. He had
two summoning contracts due to also being a member of the Sarutobi Clan. He was a member of
two noble clans, and had all of the best aspects of Hiruzen Sarutobi and Tobirama Senju. The
only thing was that Minato's potential in all fields was much higher than both of theirs. He had
three natural chakra affinities, and they were all as strong as Tobirama's water affinity. He could
control water, wind, and lightning to the same degree as Tobirama could control water. Minato's
mastery over Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Medical Ninjutsu, Kenjutsu, and Fuinjutsu was
simply unparalleled. Jiraiya even believed that Minato was the Child of Prophecy. Hiruzen could
not blame his student. His son was truly something special, and he was even a better sensei than
Hiruzen. Minato currently was in charge of a Genin Squad. He was teaching Kakashi Hatake,
Obito Uchiha, and Rin Nohara. The greatest thing about all of this was that Minato was only 20
years old. The sky was the limit for Minato Senju, and Hiruzen could not be a more proud father.
Biwako, Hiruzen's wife, even loved Minato as her own. Hiruzen would hope so, the two of them
raised him since he was two, but you could never be too sure with women. The only downside
was war was on the horizon. Hiruzen did not know how, but the embers of hatred had been
slowly lit into the flames of war. He knew it would be any second now that the Third Shinobi
World War would begin.
It was three months into the war. Hiruzen Sarutobi was still considered the Professor and
God of Shinobi. He was the smartest, and the strongest Kage out of all five of them. However,
Hiruzen knew that at this very moment Minato Senju, his adoptive son, could beat the Professor.
Hiruzen did not mind. He remembered that Shodaime-sama was not the same after his battle
against Madara, and Tobirama was the only one still able to defeat him. Hashirama was so strong
that the thing that killed him was himself. Hiruzen believed that Minato could reach that level.
After all, Kushina said that the almighty Kyubi no Yoko even feared Minato Senju. That would
have to mean that surely Minato was reaching that kind of power. Hiruzen did not know, but
what he did know was that the Elemental Nations were learning to fear the name Senju again.
People feared Tsunade, but people were terrified of his son. Minato was being called the Yellow
Flash, and no shinobi alive could best him.
Timeskip: Five Years Later
The Third Shinobi World War had finally ended. It practically took Minato being
everywhere all at once, but Konohagakure and Sunagakure were finally victorious. It was the
very first time Konoha gained an ally. However, the war had also caused severe casualties. A
candidate for the position of Hokage had been snuffed out. Dan, the fiance of Tsunade Senju, had
been killed in action. This event led to Tsuande leaving Minato and Kushina behind. She just
could not bear the idea of seeing the two of them killed in her arms. Another thing that was
extremely worrisome was that the other three Hidden Villages sure had grown in power. It was
also extremely unfortunate that two of his son's students had to perish in the war. Minato and his
star student Kakashi were deeply saddened by the horrors of war, and Hiruzen could not blame
them. However, the one dream his son truly had was about to come true. The clan heads and
elders had all decided it was time for the old monkey to step down. Minato Senju would soon
become the Yondaime Hokage of Konohagakure. Hiruzen believed that the only reason Danzo
wanted Minato in office was because he stole the Sanbi from Kirigakure. After all, it was really
stupid to seal a Biju into a foreign shinobi and not expect a seal master on Minato's level to not
take advantage of the situation. That was why Kushina Uzumaki was creeping up on the power
of Minato. His wife contained two of the Biju. Kushina even gained a third affinity with the
sealing of the Sanbi. However during Minato's free time, he had finally perfected Senjutsu. Well
he at least perfected the Toad's Style of Senjutsu. He could still always try to combine the
abilities of the Sages of the Monkeys' of the Sarutobi Clan. After all, Hiruzen was a Monkey
Sage. How did people think he became known as a god amongst men? Every Kage needed an
ace in the hole. However, it really looked like Minato was trying to take over the Elemental
Nations, but Hiruzen knew better. His son wanted peace, and that was why he was satisfied with
giving the Hokage title to him.
Timeskip: Two Years Later
Minato thought this night could not get any worse. This was supposed to be his happiest
day besides his wedding. He was welcoming his first born child into the world. The Senju and
Uzumaki bloodlines were reuniting. People would see the greatness of his child someday, but a
fucking Uchiha had to come in and ruin it all. A masked man claiming to be Madara Uchiha
killed his adoptive mother, his ANBU guards, and all of the nurses helping deliver his precious
Naruto into the world. This man would pay gravely. He might be able to kill some 20 ANBU and
some defenseless medics, but Minato Senju was a master of two types of Senjutsu and the
Yellow Flash. This wannabe Madara would learn to fear the name Senju. He would also learn to
never touch a Senju's family. The only thing to give Minato pause was the fact he had been
successful in separating Minato from his dear wife, Kushina. He of course had to protect Naruto.
However, he also wanted to protect his wife. The two of them were his world, but Minato
believed Naruto to be the true Child of Prophecy. There would be no one touching the person
Minato thought could bring everlasting change to this God forsaken cursed shinobi world. That
was when Minato felt it. The fake Madara was killing his wife by extracting the two Biju she
held within her. Minato quickly put on his Hokage cloak and vanished in a yellow flash.
However, Minato was too late. The masked man was able to release the Kyubi and the Yang-Half
of the Sanbi that Kushina held. That fact had also always bothered Minato. Where on Earth was
the Yin-Half of the Sanbi? It was not even sealed into his late student Rin. The bastards from
Kiri knew Rin would die shortly after sealing a Biju into her body, but what did they do with the
Yin-Half? Minato would probably never find out, but he needed to focus. While all seemed lost
for Minato, it was not too late for Kushina to survive. She would need the medical assistance of
Tsunade as soon as possible, but Minato could be anywhere on the face of the planet in the blink
of an eye. He was not too concerned with finding his fellow clansmen. That was when he made a
split second decision of taking Kushina to safety with Naruto rather than fighting the masked
man on the spot. Minato dropped his wife gracefully down with their newborn, and promised he
would be back in a flash. The two Biju were rampaging the village however it looked as if his
father was handling them with the best of his capabilities. He did have Monkey King Enma with
him, and Minato could sense his father was in Monkey Sage Mode. He then dodged an incoming
attack from "Madara". It did not take long for Minato to figure out his Space-Time Ninjutsu after
all he was a master in the art. He quickly defeated the masked man with a simple Flying Thunder
God and Rasengan to his back. While the masked man was on the floor, he applied a contract
seal breaking the Genjutsu he had over both Biju. However, the battle was not over. There were
two Biju on the loose and an escaping masked man. Minato decided to go after the Biju since the
masked man was marked. That mark was symbolic with death after all. Minato had to teleport a
Bijudama from the Kyubi before he did any of that though. He had to make sure there was a
village left to protect to actually protect it. It was at that moment, Minato flashed above the
Kyubi and summoned two Battle Toads. He rode atop Gamabunta and had Gamaken fall atop the
Sanbi. He teleported both Biju outside the village to a safe house on the village's outskirts. He
then summoned both his wife and child to his area. However, it was at that moment he realized
he was dangerously low on chakra. He had fought a Kage Level shinobi, summoned two of the
strongest battle toads, redirected a Bijudama from the Kyubi, and teleported two Biju. Minato
was fucked, for the lack of a better term. He did not have the chakra nor the time to go into sage
mode, so he only came to one conclusion. He had to use the Dead Demon Consuming Seal in
conjunction with Eight Trigrams Style Sealing Method to seal both Biju into his precious son. It
of course only took Minato mere seconds to come to this conclusion, and that was why his wife
looked at him with concern. Kushina had made her opposition on the matter known. She did not
want her child to grow up fatherless. They had both grown up without their biological fathers,
and they both yearned for that connection. However, Minato was able to convince Kushina it was
for the good of the village, and that Naruto was likely the Child of Prophecy. After all, Naruto
Senju-Uzumaki was their child, and he would surely grow to be one of the strongest shinobi of
all time. With those words, Kushina used the last of her chakra to erect a barrier and summon her
Chakra Chains. The Royal Uzumaki Bloodline was truly special. Hiruzen and Kakashi arrived
just in time to see Minato use the hand seals, and to see Minato and Kushina jump in front of the
Kyubi's claw from killing their son. Minato summoned Gerotora and locked the key to the seal
away on Mt. Myoboku. The elder toad sages quickly saw his name vanishing from the scroll, and
they both reverse summoned Jiraiya back to Mt. Myoboku. Kushina and Minato gave Naruto
their final words which both Hiruzen and Kakahsi heard. The last thing the two greatest heroes
Konoha had ever seen were please protect our son. It was a clear plea to both Hiruzen and
Kakashi, and the two of them swore that day that they would not let them down. With that, the
Night of the Biju Attack on Konohagakure ended, and the greatest hero the Elemental Nations
would ever see was born. The story of Naruto Senju-Uzumaki starts now.
