A/N Hey all and welcome to the newest Chapter of Pokemon Omega Loud! In this chapter Lincoln and Co. will meet Pokemon Coordinator Extraordinaire, Lisia and her partner Ali. Sparks fly as May and Lisia soon become rivals but not over Pokemon Contests, and lastly the two Loud siblings will reunite with their father after a quick bit of Wonder Training. As always I hope you enjoy reading this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it.
We find our heroes making their way to Slateport City's Contest Hall. They made the decision to head there before heading back to the Pokemon Center where they could heal their Pokemon and call over Lynn Sr.
Turning onto the street where the Contest Hall was located they were surprised to see a small crowd gathered at the entrance to the building. As they got closer they could make out several news cameras and loads of people taking photos and cheering.
Seeing that the crowd was blocking the entrance to the contest hall, Lincoln and Co. began making their way to the front of the gathered mass of people. When they finally broke through they saw that the crowd was surrounding a single girl about Lincoln and May's age.
The girl was wearing an outfit in a similar style as May's contest outfit but in several different shades of blue and white instead of pink. She also had the addition of arm warmers made of a soft cottony material, which was shared by the collar of her outfit and the cuffs of her blue heeled boots. Her hair was a pale green color similar to Leni's dress with a single long bang that descended to chest level, while the rest of her hair was in a jagged ponytail on the top of her head. To cap off the ensemble, she also had a blue hair clip reminiscent of a tiara with a pink and blue gem in the center.
Next to her was a medium sized blue birdlike Pokemon covered in white fluffy feathers that looked like clouds.
May instantly recognized the girl and began squealing with excitement as Lincoln and Lana looked on.
"Oh. My. Arceus!" said the brunette, "It's Lisia and Ali!"
Lana looked back and forth between the two and May with a confused look on her face.
"Who are Lisia and Ali?" she asked. May froze then looked at the little girl as if she had suddenly grown a second head.
"Who are Lisia and Ali!?" May cried, "How on earth have you not heard of the most famous Pokemon Coordinator and her partner!?"
Lana looked blankly at May before answering. "Um..Maybe because I'm not from this dimension?"
May grew quiet before she began blushing in embarrassment at the young girl's response. After muttering a quick apology.
While Lana and May were having their discussion, Lincoln took the time to scan the new Pokemon with his Pokedex.
Altaria, the Humming Pokemon, Male. Altaria dances and wheels through the sky among billowing, cotton-like clouds. By singing melodies in its crystal-clear voice, this Pokémon makes its listeners experience dreamy wonderment.
The three trainers' attention was soon brought back towards Lisia and Ali when the girl began speaking to the assembled crowd.
"Hiiiiii, ev-er-y-bo-dy!" said Lisia, "Lisia here! Me and my Altaria, Ali, have come to Slateport City's Contest Hall for a bit of FUN!"
Next to her Ali began crowing in excitement as Lisia began to dance.
"Dazzling, dizzying, doldrums defying!" sang Lisia as she danced. The crowd roared in approval with several members of the audience joining in. Meanwhile, May watched with wide eyes and Lincoln and Lana looked on with confusion.
"Wow." said Lana as she leaned towards her brother. "And I thought Lola knew how to make an entrance."
Lincoln simply nodded in agreement before turning back to Lisia and Ali. After a few more minutes, Lisia stopped dancing and once again addressed the crowd.
"Alrighty! It's time for Lisia's…Miraculous…Contest Scouting!" sang Lisia. She then began looking around at the gathered crowd, looking each person up and down.
"Now then," she said, "I'm going to bring another fantastic Trainer into the wild world of contesting!"
She then began pointing at random members of the audience, chanting "Eeny…meeny…miney…"
Her gaze then fell on Lincoln, who was still looking on, completely confused. Lisia's eyes widened when she laid her eyes on the white haired trainer, a slight blush forming on her face as her heart beat faster.
Oh wow. She thought, he's cute!
Shaking her head slightly, Lisia approached Lincoln as she continued speaking.
"You there, watching me with that baffled expression on your face!" she said lightly shoving May aside as she stood next to Lincoln. "Have you ever competed in a contest?"
Lincoln blinked in surprise as Lana helped keep May from tripping.
"Umm no I haven't." Lincoln said, "But my friend May here ha-"
"That's just what I want to hear!" cried Lisia as she wrapped her arms around Lincoln's, causing May to growl in irritation while Lana giggled at her brother's predicament.
Lisia then dragged Lincoln into the center of the crowd and placed him right in front of the news cameras where he froze in shock.
"Then let's get this show on the road!" cried Lisia, "This is the trainer I'm going to scout today!" She then turned towards Lincoln, who was looking around in confusion.
"So tell me…" said Lisia, "What's your name cutie?"
Lincoln gulped as the girl got closer to him, not noticing that May was looking more and more angry as she did so.
"Umm..my name is Lincoln." he finally said. Lisia smiled before wrapping her arms around Lincoln's own arm once again.
"Well Lincoln," said Lisia, "I can tell that you are a strong trainer with a couple badges from just a good look, but have you ever considered competing in Contests?"
"Not really," said Lincoln as he began to become more confident. "That aligns more with one of my little sister's interests."
"Oh you have a little sister?" asked Lisia, "How many siblings do you have?"
Lincoln smiled in amusement as he knew how everyone would soon react. "Actually I have ten sisters, five older and five younger."
All chatter from the crowd ceased as each person gained a look of shock on their faces. Even Ali managed to look shocked which was impressive considering he had a beak.
"How does one woman have so many kids?" whispered Lisia before she regained her composure.
"Well how about you give one a shot?" Lisia asked. "I'll be evaluating Coordinators here in Slateport City as a guest judge and I'd love to see you compete."
Lincoln thought for a brief moment, weighing the pros and cons of competing in a contest before reaching a decision.
"Sure, I can give it a try," he said. Lisia grinned even wider before she hugged Lincoln tightly. She then turned back to the camera's as everyone applauded.
"Well you heard it here folks! Lincoln's story begins today! Yep!" she then began posing as the crowd cheered. " And this chapter should be titled…A Sudden Encounter! Miraculous Contest Scouting! That's what I'd call it! Now, everybody out there watching… You'd better expect great things from Lincoln, because I do! That's it for today's Lisia's Miraculous Contest Scouting! See you all next time!"
With that the crowd began to disperse, though a few people stayed behind to ask Lisia for an autograph. Lana and May rejoined Lincoln, who immediately noticed the grumpy look on May's face while Lana giggled beside her.
"Well that happened," said Lincoln. He then turned to May with a concerned look. "May? What's wrong?"
May opened her mouth to respond but was interrupted by Lisia who had just finished the last of the autographs and once again grasped Lincoln's arm.
"Sorry about putting you on the spot there, cutie." chirped Lisia, "But once I saw you I just knew you had some serious Contest potential. If it makes you feel any better you don't have to compete if you don't want to."
Lisia then looked up at Lincoln with large wide puppy dog eyes, melting his resolve and causing May more irritation.
Lincoln gulped. If there was one weakness the white haired Loud had it was his inability to say no to the dreaded puppy dog eyes technique, something Lana and Lola could proudly attest to.
"It's fine Miss Lisia," said Lincoln, causing the blue-haired girl to smile. "I don't mind giving Contests a try at least once."
"That's wonderful!" said Lisia as she snuggled closer to Lincoln, "I'm so happy, I'm sure you'll enjoy them so much!"
Having had enough of being ignored, May coughed loudly to get Lincoln and Lisia's attention. When she did, Lisia's eyes snapped towards the brunette girl and quickly looked her up and down, frowning as she did so.
"I'm sorry, but do I know you?" Lisia asked snidely. May's face flushed with anger and just as she was about to begin yelling she was once again interrupted, this time by Lincoln.
"Oh! Sorry about that!" said Lincoln as he gained everyone's attention. "Allow me to introduce my friends!"
He then pointed at Lana, "This is one of my sisters, Lana." He next pointed at May. "And this is May. She's a Pokemon Coordinator as well and a huge fan of yours."
Lisia smiled before introducing herself and Alia to the two girls. Lana immediately began asking questions about Ali, culminating in the little blonde girl asking to ride on his back for a bit which Ali allowed.
Meanwhile Lisia continued to hold onto Lincoln's arm as they made their way into the Contest Hall to register. As she did so she kept a close eye on May's reactions, observing each and every expression that crossed the girl's face no matter how miniscule.
Soon they had reached the registration counter, where Lisia finally let Lincoln's arm go, much to May's relief and Lana's amusement. May quickly registered, turning around in triumph when to her surprise, Lincoln signed himself up as well.
"Wait…Lincoln, you were serious? You're ACTUALLY registering?!" May exclaimed.
Lincoln nodded his head. "Yeah. I figured I'd give it a try at least once."
Lisia cheered, which caused May to frown. "Well if you're going to be competing then you'll need these."
She then rushed behind the counter before re-emerging with a small container that looked like a Pokeball on a stick and a portable machine that looked like a tiny rice cooker.
"Here you go, cutie!" said Lisia, "One Pokeblock kit, containing a Pokeblock case and a berry blender, free of charge!"
Lincoln took the offered items as Lisia began circling him, looking him up and down as she did so.
"Hmmm," muttered Lisia, "yeah…Yeah..that could work!"
Lisia clapped her hands in front of her face, startling Lincoln.
"Ok. So you can't go around wearing any old outfit for your first contest, so if you come back later I'll have a special outfit designed just for you waiting for you."
Lisia then stood on her tiptoes, giving Lincoln a peck on the cheek, causing steam to shoot out of May's ears in anger.
"I have some important judge-related issues to attend to so I'll be seeing you come contest time, Ok cutie?"
Lisa then walked off, but not before giving one last smirk towards May that went unnoticed by our white haired hero. Lincoln and Lana both said their goodbyes to the blue haired girl as she left.
"Well she certainly was very nice," said Lincoln. The boy then turned to his companions, immediately noticing that May was looking at him with an angry annoyed look on her face.
"What? Is something wrong May?" he asked. May then turned and stomped out of the Contest Hall, leaving the two Loud siblings behind.
"What was that about?" asked Lincoln. Lana looked up at her brother before shaking her head.
"Ya know, for being the so-called 'Man with the Plan' you can be pretty dense bro."

Minutes later, after Lincoln and Lana caught up to May AND the brunette girl had calmed down a bit, the three trainers returned to the Pokemon Center where they had their Pokemon that had battled the Magma grunts treated for their injuries. While they waited, Lana and May followed Lincoln as he went to the Wonder Trade room to trade his extra Aron.
"I wonder what Pokemon you'll get this time." said Lana as Lincoln took a seat in front of the device.
"Who knows. That's part of the fun." Lincoln replied. May stayed silent as she was still annoyed with Lincoln.
One by one, Lincoln placed each of the three Aron's pokeballs into the Wonder Trade Machine and pushed the trade button. The three trainers watched the screen as images of the three Aron shot passed the silhouettes of three unknown Pokemon.
Soon three Pokeballs materialised in the machine. One was a black Pokeball with several large green spots on it, one was standard Pokeball, and the last one was pink with peach colored designs on it.
"Let's see, we got a Dusk ball, a normal Pokeball, and a Heal ball." said Lincoln as he took the new Pokeballs out of the machine. "Let's see what we got."
Lincoln tossed all three Pokeballs into the air, where they opened in a flash of light. From the standard Pokeball came a small rat-like Pokemon that was colored a deep black color with red eyes. The Heal ball opened to reveal a tall thin yellow bug pokemon with a dark green abdomen and legs, and light green leaf like arms and a happy smile on its face. Finally the Dusk ball revealed a small dark gray fox like Pokemon with a black furry collar and red markings on its face.
Each trainer took out their Pokedexes (or Pokedex equivalent device in Lana's case) and scanned the new Pokemon.
Rattata, the Mouse Pokemon-Alolan Form, Male. It shows no interest in anything that isn't fresh. If you take it shopping with you, it will help you pick out ingredients. Said Lana's PokeNav
Sounds like the perfect Pokemon for dad. Thought the little blonde girl.
Leavanny, the Nurturing Pokemon, Female. Upon finding a small Pokémon, it weaves clothing for it from leaves by using the sticky silk secreted from its mouth. Said May's Pokedex.
Finally from Lincoln's Pokedex came, Zorua, the Tricky Fox Pokemon, Female. It changes so it looks just like its foe, tricks it, and then uses that opportunity to flee.
Each Pokemon looked around in confusion before Lincoln stepped forward and introduced himself to them. Rattata and Leavanny quickly warmed up to the white haired boy, but Zorua looked between Lincoln and May before getting a mischievous smirk on its face. With a small flip and a puff of smoke, Zorua transformed to look identical to May where it then placed a small kiss on Lincoln's cheek.
Both Lincoln and May turned a bright red color in embarrassment while Lana and the transformed Zorua began laughing hysterically.
Oh no. It's a prankster. thought Lincoln.
Lana and Zorua just continued to laugh.

A few minutes later, after Lincoln recalled his new Pokemon and they retrieved the Pokemon left with Nurse Joy, the three trainers stepped outside where Lana pressed a button on the Dimensional Watch to call home.
Soon the holographic display turned on, giving the three trainers a view of the Loud House living room where the whole family had gathered.
"Hey Sport!" said Lynn Sr. "It's good to see you! How are you?"
"Hey dad!" said Lincoln, "We're doing good. We've made it to Slateport City for May's next contest and boy do we have a big update for you."
With that Lincoln, Lana, and May began telling the family about what happened to them after LJ had returned home, from delivering Steven's letter, to their adventure on Sea Mauville. Lola almost passed out after seeing all the treasure they found on the ship turned nature reserve, while Lucy took a special interest in the odd stone that Lincoln had found.
"There's a dark presence in that stone," she had said, creeping everyone out. They then told the family about their run-in with Team Magma and their leader Maxie. Lisa went on a small rant about how Team Magma's ultimate plan was "complete and utter poppycock that would cause untold damage to the planets ecosystem if they succeeded."
Finally the family was told about the group's meeting with Lisia, where Lana told (with barely contained giggles) how close Lisia had been to their brother and how jealous May had become, causing the assembled sisters to squeal loudly, much to the older trainer's embarrassment. They then showed off Lincoln's new Pokemon, with Leni taking special interest in Leavanny being able to make clothes and Luan liking how much of a prankster Zorua was.
Eventually, the conversation began to wind down and the family began to say their goodbyes when Lincoln cut across them.
"Oh before you guys go, I have a request!" said Lincoln.
"Sure thing sweetie. What do you need?" asked Rita, although she and the rest of the family had their suspicions on what Lincoln's request could be based on what LJ had told them all of Lincoln's plans.
"There's a cooking competition here in Slateport tomorrow afternoon, and I was wondering if Dad would like to come over and compete with me?" said Lincoln.
Lynn Sr smiled and immediately agreed. While he ran to his and Rita's bedroom to pack a small bag, Lincoln also told the family about how there was a surprise when May's contest began. When asked about it all Lincoln would say was that it was a surprise.
Soon Lynn Sr. returned with a bag containing some clothes. Lana then opened up a portal for him to cross over and when he did he immediately pulled his two kids into a bone crushing hug saying how much he missed them.
Once he was done hugging his kids, Lynn Sr. then pulled May into a hug as well, saying, "You're pretty much family as far as I'm concerned and I want to thank you for keeping an eye on my son for so long."
May returned the hug while saying that she was glad to be of help.
The conversation soon ended and after Lincoln sent over his Mawile and Sableye, Lana ended the communication with the Loud family after promising to livestream the cooking competition to the rest of the family when it got started.
Soon the three trainers and their companion made their way into the Pokemon Center to rest up a bit. Lincoln and Lynn Sr. were already talking about what to make for the competition while Lana and May hung back, smiles on their faces at the sight of father and son bonding.
"Ya know, May." said Lana. "My brother's a bit dense when it comes to girls and their feelings."
She then turned to the taller girl who was already starting to blush.
"You might want to tell him how you feel soon, before someone like Lisia comes along and takes him."
May looked towards her friend, still chatting animatedly with his father. A determined look crossed her features as she saw Lincoln smile at something his father had said.
"Don't worry." she said. "I will."
"Soon."
A/N so Lynn Sr has now crossed over and he and Lincoln are already preparing for their upcoming cooking competition. Unfortunately this will be the last normal chapter of the year as the Holiday season is upon us so it will be a couple of weeks before we find out what they plan to cook. But don't fret as there will be a special Christmas chapter coming soon that I hope you all will enjoy.
See ya all then!.
