The aftermath of the Undertaking really wasn't that great. For starters, my mom had turned herself in to the police. I knew that things wouldn't be like how they were the last time this happened because we would have Malcolm nearby. The police had talked to him, but they decided that in light of his work to prevent The Undertaking that they would fine him a million dollars. Mom was still going to be going to trial. I asked him not to bribe the jury to get her off. I felt that the trial was important. I did still wonder if Robert was still alive, but if he was, I wouldn't be seeing him for a while.

Another thing was that the club was severely damaged in the quake. It would probably take months to rebuild it. It was a good thing that I had that. The good news was there was a period of time where nothing really happened. I did have to go to the insurance company in costume because I needed to make sure that they would cover the damage to the Glades. I knew that they normally didn't cover earthquakes, but Star City didn't get earthquakes. This was not something that was natural.

It was currently May 15th, the day before my birthday. The thing was our family was not very popular around Star City, so I knew that having a birthday party probably wouldn't be a very good idea.

"So we're going to be leaving tonight." Malcolm told me and Thea.

"Where are we going?" I questioned.

"I figured that since we can't really have a birthday here, I'm going to take us to Walt Disney World. It's going to be the four of us and Emiko." He explained. It had been a long time since I had been to Disney World.

"I need to talk to someone before we go." I explained. He probably assumed that I was telling Courtney about it. I did want to spend my birthday with my girlfriend, but I understood that Malcolm wanted it to be a family trip, which was I needed to make the call. I called the prepaid phone that I had given her.

"Hi." She greeted me.

"So Malcolm wants to take the whole family to Disney World." I explained. I hadn't exactly figured out a good story for why Mia was there yet. I didn't know the best way to explain it. Only Tommy knew that I was from another world and I hadn't told him that I used to be a man yet. "I want you to come."

"I don't know if he'll go for that." She pointed out. That was why I had a different idea.

"That's why you're going to fly commercial." I explained. I wasn't sure she had ever been on a plane before. "You're not afraid of flying, are you?"

"I think I'll be okay." She replied. That was good to know. "Are you going to pay for my hotel too?"

"I'm surprised you're inviting me instead of your girlfriend." She admitted. I had already told her why.

"You're my daughter. I know that probably sounds weird coming out of my mouth, but it's true." I stated. "We've never got to do anything fun together. We can probably at least do some stuff."

"I have always wanted to go to Disney World." She replied. "Do you think they'll have an Encanto ride?"

"What's Encanto?" I asked.

"Oh, I forgot the movie hasn't come out." She replied. "Sorry, being back in a time period before I was born is a little weird."

"Yeah, Sara told me about that." I replied. I couldn't help but wonder if I was going to see her soon. "Can I ask you something? Do you know anything about this universe that I don't?"

"Is there something specific that you want to know?" She questioned.

"Do you happen to know if Sara is alive at all?" I asked.

"I know that all of your friends are alive, but not all of them are going to be the same." She told me. "I should probably go. I need to start packing. How long are we going for?"

"I think it's supposed to be a week." I explained. "Do you have enough clothes for that?"

I knew that she had bought some new clothes, but I wasn't sure how much.

"I can re-wear some of them." She replied. "And I can buy some souvenir shirts. I love you."

"I love you too." I responded before she hung up.

I couldn't help but think how weird it was going to be when I finally told the truth about where I was from. I mean the fact that Mia was my daughter from the future was already weird enough but the fact that I was from another world and that I had been a man would be extremely hard to explain. Part of me thought I could leave the last part out because it made me really nervous.

I did decide to tell Courtney. I told her that I was sorry and maybe the two of us could video chat some. She said that it was okay if I wanted to do it with my family. Part of me wished that Mom could come with us as well.

I had to admit that Disney World was a lot of fun. I told Malcolm that Mia was there alone and he agreed to let her hang out with us. I also couldn't help but laugh when Malcolm screamed as she went on Tower of Terror and Splash Mountain.

After we returned to Star City, I knew that I would have to start rebuilding the club. Technically, I didn't start until the week after because I had finals. I also went to Thea's graduation. She originally hadn't gone to it, Malcolm managed to convince her to go. I wasn't entirely sure what was in store for her since I planned on retaining ownership of the club. Maybe she would be working at the company or something.

I tried to be prepared for what I knew was coming next, but based on what happened with my dad, I couldn't even be sure what was happening next. It seemed like I would just have to be prepared for anything.

So here's a bit of a prologue for the upcoming story. I didn't want to put a ton of exposition in the first chapter, so I wrote this. Olivia got to spend her birthday at Disney World. Sara will be appearing soon and we'll also be seeing some other familiar faces as well. Please don't forget to review.
