A Different Future 5… + Bonus
"What's with that title?" Deadpool asks.
"Just wait." NeoMark said.
"I think you're amazing, you're so strong, so smart and beautiful… I think we truly have something between us, something special, so… what… what I am trying to say is…" Both held their breath at the same time. "Kim Possible, will you please go out with me?" Danny asked in a very shy voice.
Kim's smile became much warmer.
"I thought you'd never ask." She said, happy that the boy who made her stomach feel like it was filled with butterflies wanted to go out with her again.
"And in fifth place is Kim Possible." NeoMark said.
"Just like the original runners up!" Deadpool cheerily said.
"I knew she'd show up eventually." 61394 said.
"Me too." Luiz4200 added.
"And the prophecy came true." BCFW checked his crystal ball as Deadpool and the Warner Bros. joined in on the shenanigans.
"Yessssssssssssssssssssss!" PFN and Deadpool shouted to the heavens.
"I'm guessing you're thrilled about this, huh Deadpool?" FP11 asked with a smile on her face.
"OF COURSE I AM! I AM SO HAPPY! THIS IS THE BEST POSSIBLE, PUN NOT INTENDED, OUTCOME EVER!" Deadpool said cheerfully.
"Well, same. Nice to see one of the original pairings again..." FP smiled.
Once he calmed down, the Merc with the mouth cleared his throat.
"So… what's different?" Deadpool asks.
"See for yourself as we begin… A Possible Future!" NeoMark went.
"HI-YA!" A small redhead with blue eyes went loudly, with some kicking and punching noises that Kim was observing with pride. "Like this mommy?" She asked while doing a kata.
"You're doing great Annie, maintain your focus…" Kim said as she continued her daughter's martial arts lesson.
After a few more practices, Annie managed to get the hang of the katas, just like her mother showed her. They were unaware her father was watching from afar, having just gotten home.
That's my girl… Danny thought proudly.
"Excellent, now try and see if you can do the forearm block, like I taught you..." Kim said.
Annie got into position and managed to do just that.
"I did it! I did it!" Annie said in excitement as she started jumping up and down in excitement.
"I knew that you could..." Kim said as she picked her up and hugged her tightly.
"I'm not surprised, she is her mother's daughter after all..." Danny said, getting their attention.
The mother and daughter soon smiled when they became aware of his presence.
"Did you see me, Daddy?" Annie said in excitement as she jumped out of her mother's arms and used her newly developed power to float all the way to her father, who now caught her.
She's already getting the hang of that… Danny thought.
"I sure did, Annie-Bear..." Her father said with a smile.
"Her martial arts training is going great, she is getting a real hang of the basics, it won't be long until she'll be ready for the next level... combining that with her ghost training and she's going to be a real powerhouse..." Kim said.
"Like mother, like daughter... Am I right, Kim?" Danny said.
"Well... she does have a bit of her daddy in her, Danny..." Kim said with a smile.
"So far, all the same…" Deadpool nodded. "Just some grammatical errors removed."
"So, any questions on what's new?" NeoMark asks. "Guesstimate, BCF?"
"You know me so well." BCFW replied with a grin. "Though I would like to know how this is different from last time."
"Was it harder for Danny to gain Mr. Dr. P's approval in this universe?" Luiz4200 asked.
"Does she team-up with her fellow redheads? Does she team up with Ben or Ladybug? Does she get jealous of the stronger fighters that are attracted to Danny?" PFN asked
"I see that you included Annie again..." FP said.
"Of course, I suggested her name in the reviews and helped flesh her out..." Neo said.
"So what's different between this Danny and Kim and the one on Earth 2?" 61394 asked.
"A few things…" NeoMark said. "No, just about the same for getting his approval here…. Mostly because… not a lot's different. So, imagine the same, but with obvious changes. The whole Dark Danny arc doesn't feature Katie, obviously, but maybe he used Katnappe or Toralei to his advantage… and they get less happy endings, namely prison. And yes, she does get territorial with the likes of Sakura and Asuka, especially when they prove to be tough even for her. And yes… she does get to have more interactions with the redheads featured here, namely Melissa and Bloom. Samantha she… has more of a rivalry with, for obvious reasons. And yes, the two do interact with and team up with Ben, Ladybug, the Street Fighter cast and the like."
That's when NeoMark made a face.
"Something wrong there, Peanut?" Deadpool asks.
"I just realized… I put Street Fighter, King of Fighters and Tekken in this version." NeoMark said.
"... Yeah, so?" FP11 asks.
"Well… I had Danny and Kim end their final boss by emulating the iconic and beautiful Falcon Punch scene from the F-Zero anime… the only scene people remember from that anime and the one time the Falcon Punch was featured in any F-Zero media." NeoMark answered.
"...what does this have to do with Danny and Kim ?" 61394 asks.
"The Falcon Punch came from Super Smash Bros… which featured Ryu as DLC in For 3DS/Wii U, and Ultimate got Ken as his Echo for the base game, Terry Bogard for the first DLC set, then Kazuya in the second… so… I probably can't use that awesome as a reference…" NeoMark said as he scratched the side of his head. "Well… good thing this is a what if scenario… but still, I'd have probably still had them defeat him with a combined attack. Maybe I'd have had them emulate Gurren Lagann or something else I love in this alternate universe scenario. Either way, most of the story plays out the same."
"Does this detail really matter?" BCFW stares with a dull expression.
"Hey!" Deadpool chimed in. "Remember when I did a Falcon Punch to your wall?"
"I remember…" NeoMark grumbled.
"Good thing I had the number to get that fixed." FP11 said with a nervous smile.
"You're not still mad about it, are you? Peanut?" Deadpool asks.
NeoMark responds by grabbing Deadpool by the head and throwing him against the window.
"Yeah, he's still mad…" FP11 said, the others nodded in response.
The happy little family of three had eaten their sandwiches, and were talking about some upcoming plans for the day.
"Mommy, Daddy... R.J and I want to know if we can go to JP Bearymore's Pizza Party-Torium tomorrow..." Annie said.
"I suppose... if it's alright with his parents..." Kim said to her daughter.
"Yippie!" Annie said happily.
"He's definitely Ron's son…" Kim shook her head and spoke under her breath.
"Didn't you go when the Tennysons showed up with Amy?" Danny asks with a smile.
"That doesn't mean I don't wanna go again." Annie happily said.
"Of course…" Kim said with an amused sigh.
That's when her wrist Kimmunicator went off.
"Work's calling." Danny pointed to her device.
Kim answered it, showing a grown up Wade in holographic form.
"Hey Kim... Danny... Annie..." Wade said.
"Hey Wade..." Danny greeted as he took another bite out of his sandwich.
"Hi, Uncle Wade!" Annie waved to the projection of one of her mother's dearest friends.
"What's the sitch' Wade?" Kim asked.
"We just got word that Professor Dementor broke out of jail and stole some important blueprints for some top-secret military weapon and knowing him, he's not planning anything good with it..." Wade said to her.
"Sounds like a two-person job... I'm in..." Danny said, since he had a free afternoon today.
"That helps. Just so you know, he's taken residence in an old Shadaloo hideout. Guile and his special forces were gracious enough to share all the ways he could try to escape." Wade said.
"Got it, we'll make sure those aren't useful to him." Danny said.
"Do you mind dropping Annie off at her grandparents until we get back, Wade? Please?" Kim asked.
"Sure... I'll take care of that..." Wade said before ending the transmission.
Danny changed into his ghostly form and in no time flat, a helicopter appeared above their house, as well as a rope ladder but it wasn't necessary.
"May I?" Danny asked.
"Sure..." Kim said with a smile as Danny picked her up, bridal style.
"Annie. Be good with your grandparents." Danny said. "We'll be back ASAP."
"Okay." Annie said.
"Uncle Wade will get you a ride soon." Kim said.
"Shadaloo?" FP questions.
"We've already mentioned them, they're the villainous organization responsible for like 90% of the trouble in Street Fighter..." Neo explained.
"I see. I guess you add them to help make it clear this is a different version? Right?" FP11 nodded.
"I see you mentioned the daughter Ben has with Ami in one timeline." Deadpool points out.
"I think the word you're looking for is all of the timelines. At least those with Neo's name on it" 61394 chimed in
"I agree with that." PFN said.
"Yeah… before, I wanted to stick to canon as much as I could with other characters… but this is an alternate timeline to an alternate timeline so… I'm fine with making other changes." NeoMark said. "We can just cut to after they deal with Dementor, nothing too different. We can assume it's the same location in the original, just with more Shadaloo imagery."
"So, more of Bison's handsome mug, eh?" Deadpool went.
"I see we're not done talking about Street Fighter, even after the last chapter…" 61394 finishes his food with a smile. "Also… any more dungeon food?"
"Here you go, Annie…" Ann said as he gave her granddaughter her tray of cookies.
"Thank you, Grandma…" Annie said as she gobbled some of them.
Even at her old age, Ann didn't look all that different, just with duller hair. She was still the top surgeon of Middleton. She was also a loving grandmother, as she spent time baking cookies for her granddaughter.
"Annie-Bear!" James called out to the little girl. "Come see what I've made for you."
As Annie got up and used her power to hover towards where her grandfather called to her, Ann shook her head in amusement and smiled to herself.
She then heard a knock at the door and went to answer. She saw who it was through the door's peephole and smiled at who it was. It was her daughter and son-in-law. Clearly, they finished up faster than expected. She opened the door.
"Hey there, you two." She said with a smile.
"Hey Mom." Kim greeted her. "Thanks for watching Annie again on such short notice…"
"Oh, it was our pleasure…" She said as she let the two in.
Danny morphed back to human form on the way in as they heard a laugh coming from the living room. To their amusement, they saw their daughter in a small hover car, with her grandfather watching her. She was driving the vehicle around the sofa in circles, giggling all the way.
"Vroom! I'm driving, Grandpa!" Annie said with a big smile as she laughed happily.
"That's my girl! I told you, anything is possible for a Possible!" He said proudly.
"Even a Possible with the Fenton name…" Danny said, unable to help reminding James what her last name is.
James finally noticed the presence of Annie's parents and smiled.
"Hey there, you two. I assume the mission was a success?" He asked.
"Yeah, Dementor is behind bars and the Destructo-Ray is back where it belongs. Guile and his friends promised to blow that place apart so that no one else uses Shadaloo's old places." Danny said.
Kim then went to get her beloved little girl out of the hover car.
"Were you a good girl for Grandma and Grandpa?" She cooed.
"Uh-huh. Grandpa made me this neat flying car and Grandma made yummy cookies!" Annie went.
"That's nice." Kim said, grateful for how doting her parents were to her.
"Anyway, Mom, Dad?" Danny asked, having been allowed to call them that. "My parents were wondering if you both would like to come over for dinner this Sunday? My sisters and their families will be there too."
"Sure, we wouldn't miss it." Ann answered with a smile.
"Sure thing. Oh, and tell Jack that I am coming over tomorrow to get my protractor, I think I left it as his place from our last project." James asked.
"Sure thing." Danny said with a smile. Then he looked at his daughter. "Okay, Annie-Bear. Say bye bye to Grandma and Grandpa now, time to go home.
Annie nodded and began floating up to her grandparents.
"Bye bye, Grandpa." She kissed her grandfather on the cheek. "Bye bye, Grandma!" She did the same to her grandmother.
"Bye, Sweetheart." Anne said before kissing her on the forehead.
"Bye, Annie-Bear." James said, hugging her.
Danny then morphed and picked his wife and daughter up, using intangibility to fly through their home and back to Amity Park.
Hours later, Danny had set his little girl to bed before joining his wife on the couch as she finished cleaning out the basement, which she insisted on doing earlier. They both plopped on the couch together.
"What a day…" Kim said.
"You can say that again." Danny said. "Cleaning the basement, traveling to Austria to take down a mad man, helping her with her schoolwork and making dinner?"
"Yeah… it was so much less busy than usual." That earned a chuckle from Danny. However, Kim's smile left when she felt something. "Oh…" She grabbed her foot.
"Something wrong?" Danny asked in concern.
"Nothing… just a little cramp is all…" Kim said.
"Let me handle that…" Danny said as he grabbed and massaged her foot.
The feeling of it made Kim relax.
"Ooh… Danny… oh…" Kim let out, enjoying the feeling on her foot.
"I haven't seen you that happy since you won a match against Asuka…" Danny mused.
"She's a tough one and she admits she'd rather have me as a rival than that obnoxious Lili girl…" Kim said as she gestures to her other foot. "Any chance I can get help with the other one?"
Danny lifted the other foot and started doing the same to it.
"How's that feel?" He asked as he continued.
Kim let out a sigh of pleasure.
"Wonderful… Oh Danny… you truly have a way with your hands…" She let out.
"What? You saying that you married me because I give good foot rubs?" Danny teased.
"No, but it's one of the great perks to being married to you…" Kim said.
Her cramp was gone, but she enjoyed this too much to tell him that.
"Oh really? What's the other ones?" Danny asked.
Kim gave a coy smile.
"Why don't you come over here and find out?" She asked as she motioned him to join her.
Danny sent a wolfish grin and, in no time, the husband and wife were making out on the couch. They've been making out since they began dating as teens and they've gotten much better at it.
Their kisses were loud and very passionate.
It took minutes of this before Danny started nibbling on her neck.
"D-Danny… Oh, that tickles!" Kim giggled.
"I can't help it… I just love this perk so much…" Danny teased before kissing her again.
Kim melted into the kiss and wrapped her arms around him to bring her love closer. After their intense, passionate making out, they separated and looked into each other's eyes.
His blue eyes met her green eyes. His sapphires met her emeralds. Both were filled with nothing less than unyielding and unstoppable love for each other.
"I love you." Kim whispered.
"I love you." Danny whispered back.
"Not to brag but-" Kim started.
"You? Not bragging?" Danny mused.
"...fair enough." Kim rolled her eyes. "But… I can't help but think after everything, from Dementor, to last week where we helped out with Peter and MJ, then clean up that mess that Bryan Fury guy caused, getting to be alone with you… is the best thing to happen…" She smiled warmly.
They went back to their passionate embrace.
As Annie was long since asleep, they were free to not hold back.
"Wait… that's it?" Deadpool asks. "It's basically the same but with minor differences!"
"I hate to agree with the Merc with the Mouth here but… this chapter is giant Deja vu." 61394 said. "I get how multiverses work, infinite timelines, infinite variables. I was kinda expecting more different variables."
"I do see it very similar to the original." FP11 pointed out.
"Yeah… turns out their future ain't that different, just with minor changes." NeoMark paused with an embarrassed smile. "Yeah… that's it. Basically the same thing…"
"A little bit of difference here but some small changes. PFN says.
"You can't just repost the same thing, that's why you did changes and added some stuff." FP11 said.
"It feels more like a copy and paste. Is that really it?" BCFW asked as he scratched his beard, looking over the events that just passed by.
"Also, look to the right… that's a lot of space left to scroll." Deadpool tells the readers.
"True…" Luiz4200 says as he noticed how much longer this chapter was.
"... okay… yeah… so… I guess… we have some time to kill?" NeoMark went with an embarrassed shrug.
There was a long, awkward silence between them.
NeoMark sat perfectly still, eyes darting away.
FlowerPrincess11 wasn't sure what to say now.
BCFW and 61394 just glanced at each other and shrugged. The former took out a laptop from his robes. Pulling out an air chair, he started fiddling on the device.
Luiz4200 and PFN did a small game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, drawing a tie each time.
Realizing he's put everyone in an awkward moment, NeoMark spoke up.
"...so… how are you guys doing?" He asks. "Seen any good movies lately? I saw Transformers One recently."
"Wasn't that in 2007?" Deadpool asks.
"Ugh, I saw that with my family." 61394 groaned "Wanted to see Ratatouille…"
"The animated one. Remember, I'm the guy who is unhealthily obsessed with animated works and wants no live-action characters here." NeoMark reminds them.
"Been watching old Godzilla movies, Stargate SG-1, and I got other stuff to see." BCFW absentmindedly commented. "I do want to catch up with some anime and cartoons too."
"I saw another animated robot movie." 61394 answers. "The Transformers one is on the 'to see' list."
"So… how was it?" FP11 asked, not sure what else to say.
"It was actually a great movie." NeoMark said.
"That so?" Deadpool asks.
"It was really that great?" PFN asks.
"Yeah, these movies have seen a massive improvement after Michael Bay stopped being the director. Maybe I can do a Transformers story somed- WAIT!" He stood up. "I just had a great idea!"
"...for a Transformers story?" FP11 questioned.
"No, about the story we're doing now." NeoMark said.
"Well then, tell us..." BCFW closed the laptop.
"...so what's the plan?" 61394 asks.
"Well... I had some people say they just wanted me to only write the girls who weren't in the original. I'm gonna spoil this right now, but Kim is the only girl from the original top 10 runners up who is in the top 10 of this version... or in this case, top 11." NeoMark said.
"Wait, you're doing another? Here?" FP11 asked "Isn't that... more work than you originally wanted to do?"
"You're absolutely right!" NeoMark said with a broken smile. "But... so many people said they wanted just the new girls... so I'll make Kim here the bonus, and a proper new girl... new for this story at least, share a chapter with her."
"OK, I'm not saying this is a bad idea." PFN says with a degree of uncertainty.
"Is that really a good idea, Neo?" FP11 asked.
"I agree. At least keep it focused on Danny and Kim." Luiz4200 said.
"Well... I will admit that, counting the winner, then we'd have had 11 girls with their futures. Personally, I don't want to end it on a double digit prime number. I'm not into the idea of ending a list or set or anything on a prime number 11 or higher..." NeoMark said. Everyone in the room stared at NeoMark as if he's insane to make himself work more. "If it seems like I'm just destroying myself here, it's because this story has taken a year longer than I intended it to and am probably broken on the inside."
"... well... I suppose it's fine? But let us know if you need help. Don't destroy yourself..." FP11 said. "So... would it be the girl that came after?"
"Yup!" NeoMark went. "In fact…"

Samantha's smile grew as both of her hands pressed together in excitement.
"I would be honored to…" She responds.
"And the sixth girl… Sam from Totally Spies. The girl that came after Kim… and was tied with her when I decided to use her." NeoMark said.
"Sam from Totally Spies. I approve..." FP11 said.
"Been waiting for this one." BCFW leaned into the air, floating like he was on a recliner. "I wonder how you'd handle the Totally Spies series tangent. Granted, you'd make fun of the Spy Gene."
"And the second redhead in as many chapters… or is this the same chapter?" 61394 asked.
"She was like my fourth to fifth choice." PFN said.
"I like the idea of Danny dating someone with the same first name as Sam Manson." Luiz4200 said.
"And now… for… A Totally Great Future!" NeoMark said.
"...do you really need to give them alternate names? I feel like if I had a nickel every time the blank future was used I would have 11 nickels which isn't a lot, but I can't believe it happened 11 times." PFN said.
"Yes. Yes I do." NeoMark insists.
"There's nothing wrong with a good pun..." 61394 couldn't help but chimed in.
"Shush!" NeoMark snapped.
15 years later
The location she arrived in was not a place one would expect a WOOHP agent to go to, much less on her own.
She used her bungee to lower herself. Her eyes narrowed as she noticed how quiet it was in the dark room, with a certain object in the very center.
Looking around, she made sure that there were no traps or anything before pulling out special sunglasses that determined the absence of infrared alarms. Confirmation there were none, she smiled as she planted her high-heeled boots to the floor.
As she was about to reach what was on the pedestal, a certain someone cleared his throat.
"Well... what's a beautiful woman like yourself doing in a place like this?" A voice echoed from the shadows, interrupting Sam's focused stride.
She spun around, her hand instinctively reaching for the laser-whip at her side that was given to her as a gift by her in-laws. Upon seeing who it was, she felt a rush of excitement.
"Why not step out, Phantom? Let's... have a chat." She said with a seductive smirk, keeping the whip at her side but her stance relaxed.
"If you insist, Sammy..." Danny Phantom, now 29 to her 30, stepped out and gestured for her to come at him. "Let's play..."
With that, Samantha took a step closer to Danny Phantom, her heart racing with anticipation. The tension between them was palpable, a mix of rivalry and attraction that had been growing for years.
She made the first move, leaping into the air and swinging a kick. Although he could simply go intangible, he reacted with a swift block by raising his arm. Undaunted, she swung the whip at his head, but he dodged with a grace that seemed almost supernatural. His eyes glowed a vibrant green as he phased through the floor, reappearing behind her.
"I sure hope that's on a low setting..." He quipped.
"Don't worry... if it stings... I'll kiss it to make you feel better." Samantha replied playfully, spinning on her heel to face Danny again.
"In that case..." Danny held his arms out. "Hit me all you want..."
The banter between them was familiar, a dance of words that accompanied their dance of combat. There was an underlying thrill to their interactions, a shared history between Samantha Simpson, a top WOOHP agent, and Danny Phantom, Amity Park's superhero.
She swung the whip once more, wrapping around his arm and pulling him closer. Once he was close enough, she lightly placed hand on his chest.
"I could… or… you could let me get what I came for." She whispered with a grin.
Danny smirked, his eyes never leaving hers.
"You'll have to take it..." He said.
Taking the challenge, Samantha swung the whip, swinging him along as he slid away, giving her ample time to run to her target.
Danny, seeing that, pulled the whip off his arm to fly fast enough to block her.
Seeing him in her way, Samantha felt the adrenaline and excitement in her skyrocket as she used her superior martial arts experience to dodge his ghostly form.
But Danny had his own tricks, and with a smirk, he vanished and reappeared in front of her, grabbing her by the arm.
"Tsk tsk, you're not playing fair." He said, pulling her in and wrapping his arm around her.
"Who said we were playing?" Samantha shot back, her hand reaching for the device on her belt.
The room lit up as she activated it, revealing hidden laser tripwires. Danny's eyes widened as he flew up.
Samantha, meanwhile, somersaulted onto a nearby table to avoid said lasers, doing a perfect superhero landing and smiling up at her foe.
"Oh, I like this game..." He murmured as he landed atop the table.
Their cat-and-mouse game grew more intense, with Danny's ghostly abilities and Samantha's WOOHP gadgets and fighting prowess being put to the test. And as they fought up close and personal, it was clear they weren't trying to hurt the other. If anything, the smiles on their faces made it clear how much they were enjoying their game.
As Samantha swung a kick that Danny ducked away from, he got up in time for her to thrust her arm at him, grazing his cheek slightly.
He pulled back to feel it, smiling.
"You haven't changed... have you?" He asks.
"Nope. Even though the suit's changed..." She said, gesturing to what she wore.
"I do miss the old look... but I do like that you went back to the hairstyle you had before your time in Singapore. I don't hate it... but I like this more." Danny said.
"Well... I do break out the old suit for special occasions" Samantha said as she stepped back.
"I know…" Danny said with a smirk as he didn't bother to stop her from somersaulting off, using her bungee lasso as a makeshift grappling hook to swing in and grab what she was here for.
"Got it!" She held up the key that was her prize.
"Don't forget…" Danny said as he flew towards her. "You gotta leave to claim your prize!"
Samantha remained in place, smiling as she waited for Danny to get close enough. Once he did, she ducked out of the way as he did a U-Turn and landed atop the dresser she was on.
"There's another way…" Samantha swung her arm, which he blocked. "I can claim my prize!"
Danny tries to grab her arm, but she pulls away in time before she swung a kick that made him make his upper body intangible to not get hit.
"Oh? How so?" Danny asks with a look of challenge.
"Like this…" Samantha said before reaching out for his face and pulling him in for a kiss.
The sudden kiss made him freeze in place as Danny dropped his guard and wrapped his arms around her, returning her kiss.
For moments, the two stood there, in the middle of their battleground, kissing deeply. It was as if the world around them had stopped spinning, leaving only the sound of their hearts beating fast and the faint hum of the laser traps.
But the world didn't stop, and the moment was short-lived as Samantha broke the kiss and pushed him off the table, causing him to fall into the laser tripwires.
"YOU LOSE! YOU LOSE! YOU LOSE!" The faux-alarm went as Samantha looked down with a satisfied smile on her face.
"Looks like..." She held up the key. "...I get to pick where we're going for dinner..."
As the lights turned on, revealing they're in fact in a special room for training and exercise, Danny sat up with a sigh before morphing to human form.
"Fine... sushi it is..." He said with a defeated tone.
"Thanks for taking it well, Danny..." Samantha said sweetly before jumping off the table and helping him up. "I gotta say though... adding this little training simulator for me was a great way to stay in shape. I spent months with minimal exercise while I was pregnant so, in case it happens again soon... I'll be in good shape."
"Yeah..." Danny admired her figure. "You're definitely not as well defined as you used to be..." He snarked as his eyes hugged her figure that looked even more well defined than when she was a teenager.
"That so? Well... I guess that I will have to have another session later." Samantha said before using her compowder to switch from her spy catsuit to her usual attire at home.
She was now wearing a lovely green day dress with matching heels and a necklace.
As Danny got up, he looked outward to the door, where a certain child was watching them.
"You ready to eat, Matty?" He asks.
At the door was a child dressed in a light green sweater and jeans. A boy with blue eyes and red hair.
Matthew "Matty" Samuel Fenton, their son.
"Does that mean I get the tenders?!" He asks with a smile as his mother approaches.
"That's right, Matty..." She patted his head. "You get to enjoy those tenders."
"YES!" Matty went as he ran off to put on shoes.
"See? Our son's happy." Samantha smiled over her shoulder.
"Of course he's happy, Sammy... he gets to eat off the kid's menu." Danny rolled his eyes.
"Introducing, same age as Annie, Matthew "Matty" Samuel Fenton. The son of Amity Park's half-ghost superhero and one of WOOHP's best agents." NeoMark said. "Thoughts on him?"
"After the last world, I thought I'd be seeing Ollie, Daisy, and Carly again." 61394 joked. "Matty seems like a sweet kid."
"Matty, huh." FP11 said.
"I almost named him Samuel "Daniel" Fenton… but that's just talking both his parents names and I knew many people wouldn't have thought that to have been that creative." NeoMark said.
"I see your point." FP11 said.
"Nice name." BFCW nodded.
"Awesome... so... questions? Normally, I'd have a bit here where I interject humor or something... but since I am doing futures with two girls here, I figure we speed this up..." NeoMark said. "Since you're gonna guesstimate, BCF, any ideas for what other anime whose food we can sample?"
"I still want Toriko, but we can try from Fighting Foodons or Cooking Wars.." BCFW brought up a menu.
"Either is fine with me." Luiz4200 says. "Did Team Phantom meet Toby and Zerlina?"
"Do they have to deal with Tim Scam?" PFN asks.
"So what's different about their life that's different from Danny and Alex?" 61394 asks as Deadpool gives him a deadpan look. "Besides the obvious…"
"Well... who do you think Matthew takes after more? Danny or Samantha?" FP11 asks.
"Ah… here we go…" NeoMark began. "Obviously, we'll keep some key elements from Danny Chooses Alex, like how Danny's identity is revealed to the girls and that Jerry can't erase his mind as he'd known for long enough that doing so would be a risk. That, and having a superhero as an ally would be helpful. Samantha would… be a little uneasy to find out he knew the whole time and have some trust issues. That said, a mission they went on right away had him risk his life for her and admit his love for her. This enabled her to forgive him and reaffirm her feelings for him. Yes, he has to deal with Tim Scam alongside Samantha. As you might have noticed from what I typed, I'm once again using the gift of hindsight and acknowledge the recent season 7. I don't mind how the girls look in the recent revival, though I have two issues. 1) I wish they did keep the previous actresses, but the staff didn't want to pay union, and 2) I don't hate Sam's hair, but I felt her original hairstyle was more unique."
"I concur." Deadpool nodded. "Good for you to return to it here."
"As for Matthew, I would say he takes more after Samantha. Annie was a daddy's girl, Matty would be a mama's boy. He takes after her in intelligence and, as he grows up, skill." NeoMark went.
"Neato." Deadpool said. "So… ready to show more of another future with a redhead?"
NeoMark scowled at him before they continued.
At Amity Park's newly opened Sushi Shishi, having branched out from Beverly Hills, the Fenton family of three were having their dinner. As Samantha enjoyed her Chirashi & Uramaki, and Matty had his tenders, Danny was left with some yakitori, having spent enough time with Sakura and Asuka to know what foods he prefers over raw fish.
"At least there's something on the menu for me…" He muttered.
"I can't help but remember how temperamental Clover was when she found out you don't like sushi." Samantha couldn't help but point out with a smile.
"Yeah, that killed her interest in me after she found out who I was." Danny laughed a little.
"That and it's me you love." Samantha adds.
"You won me before you knew it… before she met me, even." Danny smiled at her.
Matty, eating his tenders, noticed his father's meal with interest.
"Your tenders look good, Dad. Can I try one?" He asks innocently.
"Matty, those are not for you." Samantha lightly chided him.
"Maybe next time..." Danny mused as he took another look at the menu. "Still no chicken as karaage... Sakura and Karin got me hooked on it."
"Chicken's do karate?" Matty repeated, a bit confused.
"It's like a Japanese style of fried chicken, Son." Danny explained. "But it's okay, I can always get it next time we're in Japan."
"Can I have some when we go?" Matty asks.
"Absolutely not." Samantha replied firmly. "It's made of Japanese alc-" She paused.
Matty looked up at his mother innocently.
"Japanese... what, Mama?" He asks.
Danny and Samantha exchanged a quick glance.
"It's made with a special ingredient that only grown-ups can have, sweetie." She said.
"What is it?" Matty asks with a smile of curiosity.
"It's sa- uh... a kind of... al... li- umm..." Danny's eyes darted away.
"Al.. co…hollllli... cauli... flower! Yes... liquid cauliflower." Samantha finally said, relieved she had come up with a plausible lie.
"Yuck..." Matty made a face. "I don't want it."
Danny sighed in relief and took a bite of his skewered chicken, hoping that would be the end of it.
The dinner was mostly peaceful after that, the occasional laughter and clinking of chopsticks filling the air as they shared stories from their adventures and the day's school activities. Thankfully, the money they make with Samantha as a professor and Danny a science teacher, with a bit of compensation from Jerry, helped them afford a private table that let them talk without fear of being overheard.
Matthew, though young, had already shown an interest in his parent's line of work, asking questions about gadgets and ghosts that made Danny and Samantha realize how quickly he was growing up.
"So, Matty?" Danny spoke to his boy. "Who do you want to be more like when you get older? Me or your mom?"
"...dunno." Matty shrugged. "Both of you guys are pretty cool."
"Thanks, son." Samantha beamed with pride.
"Maybe... I can be my own kind of cool." He said.
"So... your own kind of hero?" Danny asks with an intrigued look.
"As long as it's not Kim Possible he's looking up to..." Samantha sipped her iced tea in mild annoyance.
Danny couldn't help but find her behavior amusing.
"Still feeling competitive, aren't we?" He teased her.
"Why do you not like her, Mama?" Matthew asks.
"I have my reasons. Such as the fact that she started out as an amateur but had more fame than me and your aunties. She gets far less humiliating ways of being sent throughout the world than us. She's a respected hero across the world and the spy community. Her skills are somehow better than ours, despite not having the Spy Gene. She actually beat me in a match when we went undercover at a martial arts tournament." Samantha listed off all of the things that made her envious of Kim Possible. "That… and she does it all in public."
"You know what she doesn't have though, Sammy?" Danny said as he reached for her hand. "Yours truly…"
Samantha smiled before shaking her head.
"Well… we do have a wonderful son… so I guess you have your happy ending." Samantha mused.
Both of them laughed as Matty ate the last tender.
"Mama and Dad are weird…" He said to himself.
Later
Upon returning home, Matty walked towards their house, which was the sole house atop a hill overlooking Amity Park. It helped with Samantha's spy duties and Danny's superheroing to have a place with few public eyes watching.
"Niro!" He called out. "Come on out!"
Out came a beagle, black in color but with a white belly, and then pounced on Matty playfully, licking his face.
Danny watched his son have fun with their dog with a smile as Samantha looked concerned at how messy their boy would be.
"And you wanted to call him something simple, like Robert…" Danny nudges his wife playfully.
"I see your point." Samantha responded before going to her son. "Now… did you finish your homework?"
"I sure did." Matty went as Niro got off. "I made sure to finish my extra credit assignment and I practiced my judo moves too. I even made sure to have the notes recorded and ensure no one else saw me so they think I'm not paying attention, just to surprise them."
Samantha's eyebrow raised as she stood up. After a moment, the shock went off before she smiled.
"Well… good to know." She said. "In that case… go get some ice cream."
"Yay!" Matty went as he got up, eyes turning green and jumping higher than should be possible with his fist up.
"Whoa! Son!" Danny came closer, holding Matty by his waist and pulling him down. "Remember… no flying after eating. Your body isn't used to it like mine is."
"Sorry, Dad." Matty responded as he landed on the ground.
"That said…" Danny took his boy's hand. "Let's get some ice cream."
The two went, using Danny's ghost powers to enter the house together. Samantha smiled and shook her head.
"He'll make a great super spy someday…" She said with pride in her voice.
"Niro? You named their dog Niro?" FP11 questioned.
"After Robert De Niro." NeoMark responded.
"... why? Why not Spot? Or Fido? Or something that isn't based on a real life person?" Deadpool asked. "Nothing against De Niro, to be clear."
"Because her boss is Jerry Lewis, who was named after the actor of the same name. De Niro and Lewis were in that movie, The King of Comedy, one of the inspirations of the film, Joker." NeoMark answered her. "Also, Niro is Italian for black… which is the color their dog is."
"I see." Flower Princess11 responded.
Later
Matty was in his room, being tucked in by his mother.
"All good, Matty?" Samantha asks.
"I sure am, Mama." Matty said.
"Good…" Samantha pressed her lips onto his forehead. "We're not gonna have a repeat of when you first got your powers, are we?"
"No more trying to phase through the walls without supervision… especially when you and Dad are in your room at night…" Matty said innocently.
"Y-Yes…" Samantha blushed hard at how their son phased through and almost caught them. "...good thing nothing happened yet…" She whispered to herself.
"Huh?" Matty asks.
"Nothing! Nothing…" She said quickly with a nervous smile before calming down. "Anyway… nighty night, Matty."
"Night, Mama…" Matty happily said as she turned the lights off, allowing him to fall asleep moments later.
Samantha made her way to their bedroom, where she used the compower to change from her normal clothes to her original spy catsuit as she wore as a teen.
Still fits… She thought happily as she entered their training room.
There, Danny waited on a chair with an ankle over his knee, waiting for her. Upon seeing her, a wolfish smile appeared on his face.
"So… special occasion?" Danny recalled what she said earlier as he got up and morphed.
"Yeah… you reminded me I have you." She said as she did some minor stretches. "So… first to surrender loses?"
"Really? You might know WOOHP fu or whatever… but I learned some tips from Ken Masters, I've dabbled in Kazama style, and I had a spar with Terry Bogard once. I think we both know you win because I'd never hurt you." Danny points out as he crosses his arms.
"Says the guy who still loses one on one matches with me. You might have more under your belt, but I'm the one with more experience in using what I know." Samantha points out.
"If you say so, Sammy." Danny shrugged as they took battle stances.
"You know… it's just us and she's not here. You can call me Sam." She points out.
"Yeah… but Sammy's too nice sounding." Danny said with a smile.
"If you say so…" Samantha's smile grew as they collided.
10 minutes later
Their fight had been intense, exhilarating and satisfying. Now, they were holding each other while kissing deeply.
Years of being together, having a child and seeing action hasn't diminished their attraction to each other one bit.
Once the kissing was done, Danny lifted Samantha up in a bridal manner and hovered out the room and to their bedroom.
Samantha snuggled into his arm, even as he landed and morphed back to human form.
"Well, Sammy? Ready to call it a night?" He playful asks as they enter the room, closing the door with his foot.
"I am, Danny. I am." Samantha said sweetly.
As Danny placed her gently on the bed, he went to change as she used her compowder to change out of her catsuit and into a nightgown.
Danny, now in a plain white T and grey pajama pants, lay next to his wife.
"I love you…" He said to Samantha.
"And I love you…" Samantha responded sweetly.
The two kissed, ready to enjoy another night together.
"They're gonna have another kid, aren't they?" Deadpool asks.
"10 bucks says it's a boy." 61394 wagered.
"Girl, actually." NeoMark said. "Gabriella Danielle Fenton, Gabby for short."
"I gotta stop making bets with someone with the continuity stone." 61394 grumbled as he gave Deadpool a $10.
"You're not…" NeoMark said. "I decided how these futures will go."
"Doing a theme where they go by 5 letter words, the second letter is an A and the last is a Y? If there are more kids, maybe something like Tammy?" FP11 asks.
"Sure." NeoMark said. "So… since Kim was a repeat, thoughts on Samantha?"
"While I prefer Alex with Danny more, I see Samantha has a lot of potential and I liked what you did." FP11 said.
"Me too." Luiz4200 said.
"I see the personal life, but what of the professional?" BCFW hovered closer to the display. "How high up the ladder are Sam, Alex, and Clover in WOOHP, is what I'm wondering."
"Let's just say they're now the top agents." NeoMark answered.
"It was pretty cool. I like the fight between Danny and Sam." PFN said.
"I like Totally Spies and like all three spies equally. Though, I feel like Clover is the only one who wouldn't have chemistry with Danny." 61394 said.
"Excellent. So... next girl is... ugh... another redhead..." NeoMark facepalmed.
"...this one's your fault for picking the order at the moment you looked at the poll..." FP11 said playfully.
