"Alright, kid, welcome to Albert Park," Hugh said with an air of excitement as Jake settled into the driver's seat of his Formula 1 car. He could feel the adrenaline coursing through him while he waited for the pit crew to fit the tires. The Grand Prix was just 20 minutes away from its start, and time was of the essence as the strategy meeting was set to begin shortly.

"This is an incredible circuit," Hugh continued, his voice filled with anticipation. "The last time we raced here, Checo secured a victory, and since you're stepping in for him today, we have high hopes for a similar outcome. Unfortunately, qualifying was canceled because of heavy rain, which is still pouring down right now. The track is drenched, meaning you'll be starting on the wet compound."

Jake nodded as he listened intently, mentally preparing for the challenge ahead. "Alright," he said decisively. "I plan to stay on wet tires until lap 25. After that, I'll assess the conditions for the last 20 laps and switch to intermediates, wets, or dry tires, depending on how the weather develops."

Hugh gave a firm nod, appreciating Jake's understanding of the strategy. With the conditions being unpredictable, every decision made on the track would be crucial. Jake felt a surge of determination; he was ready to give it his all in the race ahead.

"Perfect. That'll work Jake. Reminder, you're car is speed-limited at 150 miles per hour for right now as you are starting the race behind the safety car due to the bad weather." Hugh proceeded to radio before the race started.
