"Sorry if I kept you waiting," Jason says. "No you are fine, I just got here myself. Besides I figured this place was more your speed" Elizabeth says. She still knows me so well,
he thinks." It's ok but it'll never be Jake's." Jason says. "No I suppose not but I promise not to keep you too long. I know you have to get back to Danny," she says. " Are you
checking up on me?" Jason says. Busted she thinks but it is refreshing that he still knows me. " Guilty as charged." She admits. " I appreciate it. Jake called and said he spoke
with Danny." Jason says. "Yeah, he called me because he was worried about Danny, Dante, Rocco, me, and you. Wishes he could be here right now but he is face-to-face with
Danny to check in as much as he can." Jason says " Yeah I told him it is a lot to process but told him it is good he is looking out for his little brother. We both looked into what his
options about coming home for the holidays were. I spoke with the Dean of his school and may have persuaded him to make an exception and that there is a death in the
family." Elizabeth looked slightly amused. " Did you persuade him as a Morgan or a Quartermaine?" She says as she arches her eyebrow. He grunts and says " He pulled my arm
about Thanksgiving being an American holiday and I reminded him our son celebrates that but I may have pulled an Edward and made a sizable donation as well. We came to an
agreement and Jake will be home at the end of the week and it will be until November 30th. I spoke with Micheal and we will send the Quartermaine Jet to pick him up. I texted
before I got here the details. I had to practically beg him to allow a driver to pick him up."
Elizabeth scoffs " Hey mister I seem to remember you are stubborn as well and independent. He could have ordered an Uber but thank you for thinking of all the details and I
wish he were coming home under better circumstances." She says. " I know I am still processing it and it still does not feel real," Jason says. " I know I am still processing
myself," Elizabeth says. " I know you did everything you could and so does Danny. I am still trying to figure out if I should look for a place for us. Is he going to move in with
me? So many questions." Elizabeth says " We did everything we could and I wish it were enough but I know Sam would want Danny, Scout, and Rocco to remain together. They
were a team." Jason nods. "Maybe you could move into the Quartermaines," she says. Jason scoffs " Wait a minute what?" Elizabeth says " You heard right and make sure you
do not let anyone talk you into giving him up that includes yourself."
Jason says " Thank you again for checking on me but I will text you Jake's flight details and I'll see ya later. Be safe." Elizabeth says " Of course and you be safe too." She
watches him leave as she sips her drink. She gets a text and Lucky wants to talk. She replies with her location and hopes everything is okay with Lulu. She storms into her car
and takes a deep breath before starting her engine and it does not start. Oh my gosh, this is not happening right now. I do not need to run into Lucky after that conversation.
What a selfish ass. She decides to call Jason and hopes he has already spoken with Danny; she would hate to pull him away. " Hey Jason, are you still speaking with Danny?"
Jason says " No we just got finished up and thanks again for your suggestion. We are going to wait and I am going to speak with Drew and Dante to see how they want to
proceed. Is everything okay?"
"No it is not my car won't start and Lucky pissed me off and I would rather not go back in and wait having to look at his stupid face right now." Oh boy, Jason thinks what has he
done now? " I can be there in five I'll see you soon." They hang up and sure enough he is there. " I am going to check under the hood but I called my guys to take it to my shop
in case I can't fix it right now." Elizabeth says " Thank you again." Jason nods and he pops the hood and inspects it. " So I have good news and bad news which one do you want
first?" Elizabeth says " I'll take the bad news first may as well get it out the way." Jason says " Well I am going to take it to the shop and I can have it fixed but it will be out of
commission for a week and no I will not be charging you and no do not argue with me."
Elizabeth says " Brat. Fine, I will not argue with you but how am I getting to work?" Jason says " The good news is that I can either take you or loan you one of my cars to
drive." He looks amused because he knows she is stubborn but he can see he is winning this. The small things in life. " I will borrow one of your cars but not one of those huge
SUVs. That is too much for one person." Jason says " That is because you are tiny. It is a good thing Jake has my height so he can reach the pedal." Elizabeth says " You are just
a real comedian tonight, jerk." He smirks and then he nods to his guard to handle her car. " Is there anything you need out of your car before we go?" Elizabeth says " I just
need to get some paperwork and my purse." She grabs that and they are on their way.
Elizabeth's house
"Do you need to talk about what happened with Lucky?" Jason says. " I need to vent to someone but I feel bad for venting to you," she says. " I asked because I care and I can
handle it. So stop stalling and let's go inside." She shakes her and they hang up their jackets she grabs him a beer and she pours herself some wine. " He is saying he is leaving
town again because it was never his intention to stay. He wanted to be the hero but because he failed, according to him there is no need for him to be here as if he is not a
father. Serves him right. He always does this he will come in and make these promises and the moment things don't go Lucky Spencer's way he bails. Well, my son does not
deserve that."
"No Aiden deserves better and so do you. I even talked to Lucky and told him he was needed here when he came to see me." Jason says. " Thanks for trying but it is no use. He
will do what he wants he always does. I am so thankful that you did not bail on Jake and kept your word. I know it was not easy." Jason says " As a wise woman once told me it
would not be easy but it was worth it." She smiles softly. " You know I was with Monica checking in and she showed me this photo album of you when you were younger and I
swear Jake could be your twin." Jason says " Are you calling me old?" Elizabeth says " Well if the shoe fits." Jason laughs and says " He may look like me but he has his mother's
spirit and I am so grateful that you are his mother. He is talented, smart, generous, thoughtful, and forgiving." She blushes and says " He gets him forgiveness from both of us.
Goodness knows all you have had to forgive me for." Jason sets down his beer and grabs her hand. " Hey, where is this coming from?"
She says " It's just you are trying to be a dad to make up for lost time but I realize that a lot of it is my fault you missed so much time. If Helena never thought he was a
Spencer she never would have taken him and we never would have mourned him. Lucky he made much about being a father then but he knows nothing about Aiden and hell you
have probably spent more time with Aiden than he has throughout the years. I wish I never asked you to give up Jake. Things would be so different." Jason says " Listen to me I
forgave you as soon as you asked me to do it but it was my choice too. I wish I would have fought harder because the moment you told me you were pregnant I did not care
who was the actual father I wanted to be the dad. So stop being so hard on yourself you did the best you could." Elizabeth says " Why did you want to be his dad so bad then no
matter the results? Why do you always forgive me so easily when I have made things so difficult for you at times?"
Jason gets up and paces a bit. " You know I asked myself that question but I already knew the answer. I felt guilty about my reasons so I never admitted them out loud."
Elizabeth says " Why would you feel guilty?" Jason says " I wanted to be your child's father because it is a physical representation of how we felt about each other. I felt guilty
because I was figuring out things with Sam but I wanted you to be my child's mother because I was in love with you. It is why I forgive you so easily. I really did love Sam and I
am thankful for her but there has always been a piece of my heart that has been in love with you even now." Elizabeth is stunned and walks over to him. " You know I spent so
many years being obligated Lucky all because I was too much of a coward to admit I was in love with you. So I picked what was comfortable even when it hurt. With Sam's
death, it makes me realize that we can't take things for granted and that none of our relationships have worked out because it has always been you."
Jason whispers " What are you saying?" She uses her liquid courage and kisses him and he is stunned for a moment but kisses her back. It quickly turns passionate and they are
upstairs in her bedroom not thinking just feeling. Jason says " I have always wanted you even when have pissed me off." She says " I feel the same way and I would sometimes
piss you off because of how hot you look when you are angry." He kisses her again and runs his finger through her folds. She moans and he whispers " I know the feeling I
always think you are beautiful but when you get fired up it makes me want to shut you up and pin you to the nearest surface and have my way with you." She moans again and
says " Have your way with me now" Jason slides into her and he groans into her ear. " You still feel so good after all these years. I can't believe I went this long without you."
She moans into his mouth as he thrusts inside of her so deeply and so fully. " No time like the present to make up for lost time."
He goes even deeper and finds that delicious spot inside of her and she screams as he hits her G-spot and she comes. He helps her ride her orgasm and he lays her on her side
with her back to him lifts her leg and starts back up again. " Do you have to be good at everything?" Jason nibbles on her ear and says " I am aiming for excellence and would

Jason says " I am your smartass right?" He thrusts her so deep she cannot even speak. " I can't hear you. Don't make me repeat myself." She is able to barely get out a
sentence and says "Yes it is yours. Everyone else was just a temporary visitor." Jason plunges even harder as if that was possible and she comes again. As he helps her ride it
out he says " Daddy is home and he is here to stay."
