Maddie's eyes darted between the men in front of her, trying her very best not to weep as they exchanged vows. "I'll treasure you forever, Evan," Tommy said, and that's when she lost the battle with her tears.
"They're killing me," Eddie, the only other guest (Buck and Tommy had chosen to elope when everyone else was working) whispered to her.
"Same here," she whispered back.
"You're the love of my fucking life, Tommy," Evan responded after Tommy slid the wedding ring up his finger.
The two men sealed their vows with a kiss, and Maddie and Eddie clapped for them. "We really did it," Tommy murmured in awe.
They'd celebrate with the rest of their family later.
