Disclaimer: I don't own Peter Pan
It was late one night. The children, Wendy, John and Michael were all asleep. Suddenly Peter flew in through the window. Wendy woke up first.
"Peter! It is such a pleasure to see you again."
Peter smiled a shy smile.
"It's a pleasure to see you too Wendy," Peter said.
"Peter? You told us about your Paradise many times. It must be so beautiful."
"It is," Peter said, "Do you want to see it?"
"Of course," Wendy said, "Did you bring pictures?"
"No… but you can visit Neverland," Peter explained.
John and Michael woke up at this point.
"Peter," they exclaimed.
Peter laughed.
"Come along," he said, "We're going to Neverland"
"How do we get there," Michael asked.
"We fly," Peter said, "I'll teach you."
He blew the fairy dust on Wendy, then Michael and finally John.
"Now, think of the happiest thoughts you can think of," Peter said.
"Heaven," Michael stated and he lifted off the ground.
"Friends," John said and he too, lifted up.
"Kindness," Wendy said.
She lifted off the ground. They flew into the night. Soon enough they reached Neverland.
Michael's eyes shone with excitement when he looked at Neverland.
"Is this heaven," he asked in amazement.
"Ah yes," Peter nodded, glancing at the lost boys, "and these are some of my friends."
"Are we dead," Wendy asked, biting her lip nervously.
"Don't worry," Peter assured her, "You are not dead. Nobody here is dead."
"I think she's talking literally," John said.
"You should hear Wendy's ideas," Michael added, changing the subject, "She's really smart."
"I don't know if smart is the right word," Wendy said, "I have a lot of ideas but I don't know if they're good or not."
"Now Wendy," Peter said, "I'm sure that they are. I know you are creative."
"I just think everyone ought to be accepted," Wendy said, "Also I don't think there should be any judgmentalism. But if it was up to me people would have been kind, compassionate, loving, respectful and understanding a long time ago→← to everyone for that matter."
"I think that's bloody brilliant," a lost boy named Nibs replied.
Wendy smiled at the young boy.
All of the lost boys agreed.
"She is Bloody Brilliant," Peter agreed.
Just then they heard a familiar barking. Their old dog, Nana ran up to them. Just weeks before they had to put her to sleep. She was very old and very sick. Now she was young and healthy.
"Nana!" they exclaimed running to hug her.
"Thank you for taking us here Peter," Wendy said.
"Can you stay forever," Peter asked.
"I… wish we could," Wendy said, "But mummy and daddy couldn't handle losing us."
Peter smiled.
"You are a good person Wendy," he said, "Come. I will take you home. But remember there will always be a place for you in Never Land."
