Lip set up the table while he went through the plan one more time, for Carl. "In this container you set up the lemonade, the recipe is here. When people come up and ask for lemonade you give them a cup of this for $2. If someone comes up and asks for a short glass of lemonade then add in a shot of vodka, make sure you do it only when there's no one else around. The kids will be told only to ask when the stand is empty. It's $5 a cup for that. When they get more then two half the amount of vodka. There's also some moroblo lights, a dollar a piece. Ok?" I nodded again. Carl did as well. "Ok, Lucy go spread the word. You know what you're looking out for. I'll stay with Carl and get things set up."

I approached another set of kids. "Hi, looking for a nice drink to cool off?" I asked them. "Get lost" one of them said. I smirked, "perfect answer, on Moores street there's a lemonade stand. If you ask for a short glass and hand over a 5, something extra will be added. Also selling loosies for a buck. Don't ask unless there's no one else around" I told them and walked away without waiting for an answer.

There were already a few kids hanging around. A couple I recognised. Once I joined Lip and Carl they came over and started ordering. Within the hour we were getting low on supplies and there were a few kids starting to stumble around. We packed up and moved to a new suburb, stopping at the bottle shop for more booze and cigarettes and nicked some sugar and lemons from a shop. Two hours later we were sold out completely. We stashed everything in an alleyway then headed back to the Southside.

I stashed the money in my room and headed out to spend the afternoon with friends. Steal wheelchair for Lees old neighbour.

Fiona put a plate in front of me, crisps, chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese. "Ok that's dinner done, please wash up. I want you all sound asleep by the time I get home" she said specifically glancing at me for the last bit. None of us replied. She left.

We did as we were told and cleaned up after dinner. "Pool party!" was yelled outside. Carl rushed out, I helped Debbie finish up the dishes. When we went out there was a group of teenagers hanging around drinking, smoking and barely dressed. "There you are" Lip yelled out. After a bit of dancing and singing I sat down with Liam. Lip came over to me "how much?" he asked "nearly $600" I said "sold out the second batch then?" I nodded. "We will do it again in a few days, just got to be careful who we tell and where we go. You and Carl can take $50 each and we will use $100 to get more supplies. The rest can go in the squirrel fund" he said "I don't need $50" I said "what? It's yours go spoil yourself or something" "I've got the busking money coming in too, I'm set" "really? How much you making with that?" "Like $100 in 2hours, sometimes more. I bet I'd make more on violin too but I can't risk it getting taken so sticking to guitar and singing" "that's good money Luce" Lip said. "I can do it daily too, even just after daycare when I have to do that." "Nice. You up for rolling joints for the truck too?" "Yep". "Definitely worth keeping you around then, if only Carl was so helpful" Lip joked as Carl threw a bucket of water on some of the girls.
