A/N: There's some more adult talk in this chapter. I don't think it goes above the "T" rating but I figure I'd warn you, just in case. ;)

Chapter 23

Olivia pulled the SUV down the road to make it look like they had left while the two of them listened to the phone call. They found out that Sally was going to meet Caitlin downtown in three hours. Once the call ended, Elliot called ahead to the precinct. He got Velasco who told them that Detective Klass and Betty were keeping Eliza company. Elliot quickly told him that they needed to swoop in and get Caitlin and the location. Velasco said that Fin and Bruno were still in talking with Dylan and his lawyer. Elliot was surprised but glad to hear it. Hopefully, they were getting something useful. Knowing that they still had some time, he promised they'd swing by the precinct before moving in for the pickup of their main suspect.

"Now, that we've got five minutes to ourselves," Elliot said.

"Oh, do we have that long?" Olivia asked without looking over at him. She navigated the New York City traffic like the professional that she was.

"Liv, we've barely had any time together and most of it was passed out in bed and not because we'd been having fun beforehand," he told her.

"I know. Somehow, we became that old married couple and we haven't even been dating that long," she said. The words tumbled out and she suddenly worried that she'd somehow struck a nerve. When they were partners, they didn't worry about striking each other's nerves, and she wondered if that was something that had changed along the way.

"How many times did we each have to tell other people that we weren't boinking each other in the mop closet?" He asked.

"More than I'd care to admit," she chuckled.

"And now we're sharing a bed, and we can't get our act together," Elliot said.

"Yeah, but we're also ten years older now," Olivia admitted.

"Things don't bend the way they used to, do they?" He wondered.

"Says the guy who still looks like he's just left the gym," she chuckled.

"You have a great body," Elliot told her.

"You're my boyfriend, you get paid to say that," Olivia teased him. He chuckled and took her right hand in his, before kissing the back of it.

"You haven't lost a step, Captain Benson," he said.

"Detective Stabler, trying to seduce a superior?" She asked.

"You know how I like to bend the rules," Elliot reminded her.

"You'll have to keep the fantasy of bending me over my desk to yourself… well at least until later," she teased.

"Naughty," he chuckled as she pulled into a parking spot outside the precinct.

"Not as naughty as our main suspect has been. Now come on, we have to get back to work," Olivia said as she climbed out of the vehicle.

"Wind me up, just to make me do my job. Treating me like a suspect, Captain Benson?" Elliot wondered as he too exited the vehicle.

"Punish me later," she teased. Her former partner could feel his internal temperature rising. He knew he had to push it down because they had a potential killer to catch. The two went inside and quickly got in the elevator to head up to the SVU bullpen.

"What do we have from the interview?" Olivia asked Velasco as she rounded into their portion of the precinct.

"Fin and Bruno are still in there. Either he's yanking their chains or he's spilling his guts," the detective told her.

"I doubt it's the latter. This guy doesn't seem like the type," Elliot said.

"Agreed but if he can put all of this on Caitlin…" Velasco tilted his head.

"That's what I'm worried about. We haven't found any evidence of Dylan's involvement other than the fact that we caught him on the webcam. It's enough to violate his parole but not enough to bring more charges, especially if he's actually helping us," Olivia heaved a sigh and rubbed her forehead. She could already feel a headache coming on.

"I heard you've got a suspect in custody," Carisi said, announcing his presence.

"We've got another one to bag in about ninety minutes. We have to get moving to get set up," Elliot told him.

"I'm putting in a call to the local precinct so we can get the location well scouted. Caitlin has been following up closely so she may know what we all look like," Olivia waved her phone at them before placing the call.

"Fin and Bruno are…" Elliot didn't get the words out as Fin walked out of the interrogation room and into the bullpen.

"Elliot, this guy… he's a piece of work," Fin said.

"Enough to get Caitlin?" The former SVU detective asked.

"Oh yeah and maybe him too," Fin chuckled.
