At 11 P.M on the night of Sunday, February 27th, 1995, Harry decided to write to Sirius, Remus, and Amanda to seek some parental type of advice on the upcoming Hogsmeade trip on Saturday, March 5th, 1995.

Harry retrieved his eagle feather quill and some parchment from his trunk and began to write:

Dear Sirius:
This Saturday is a Hogsmeade day and I'm seeking some parental type of advice on who to go with. I have two options. Option one is to go with my friends Neville, Hermione, Ginny, and Luna. Option two is to go with the other champions, Cedric, Viktor, and Fleur. I would appreciate any advice you could give me on making this decision.

Harry.

Harry repeated this process two more times, simply replacing the name Sirius with Remus on the second letter and Amanda on the third.

Harry then returned his quill to his trunk and set out for the owlery.

Hedwig fluttered down to Harry, who instructed her, "You need to take these letters to Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Amanda Diggory. You will need to wait for them to write replies before leaving them. Understand, girl?"

Hedwig hooted.

Harry put the three letters in Hedwig's beak and opened the window to allow her to take off.

Harry closed the window again when Hedwig was gone.

Next night, Harry received responses from Sirius, Remus, and Amanda.

Sirius's letter read:

Dear Harry:

Hi, there pup! My advice on who should go to Hogsmeade with this Saturday is very straightforward. You have will have plenty of opportunities to visit Hogsmeade with Neville, Hermione, Ginny, and Luna in subsequent years. This year is your only opportunity to visit Hogsmeade with the other Triwizard Champions as Viktor and Fleur will be returning to their homelands at the end of the semester. I strongly advise The Four Champions to go to Hogsmeade together this coming Saturday. It is truly special that the four of you have formed such a strong bond. In all previous iterations of the Triwizard Tournament, the Champions have always hated each other's guts and acted like it. Simply put, you should prioritize the more limited opportunity. I'm also delighted to let you know that Remus has taken to sending me food regularly so that I don't have to live on rats anymore. I fully intend to come to Hogwarts in my dog form to watch the Third Task. Please inform me beforehand if you know what kind of creatures are intended to be used in the Third Task. Pup, you go to Hogsmeade with Cedric, Viktor, and Fleur this Saturday and you savor every nanosecond of it. Don't let this unique opportunity pass you by. Take it, run with it, savor it.

Harry wisely picked up on the fact that Sirius wanted Harry to refer to him as Snuffles when writing to him in case the letters went astray. He was also glad to hear that Remus was looking after Sirius. The strength of the old friendship between Remus and Sirius had clearly returned since Remus learned the truth of Sirius's innocence.

Harry now turned to Remus's letter and read:

Dear Harry:

Hey there, cub. I think you have to consider the fact that Viktor and Fleur may not actually have anyone they can go to Hogsmeade with. I urge you and Cedric to show compassion towards Viktor and Fleur and to provide them with company on Saturday's Hogsmeade visit. I know that only a small delegation from each of Durmstrang and Beauxbatons arrived at Hogwarts for the Triwizard Tournament. There's no guarantee that either Viktor or Fleur has any friends amongst these lots. Neville, Hermione, Ginny, and Luna can all go together. You'll have chances to go to Hogsmeade with them in ensuing years. But this Saturday, your priority should be to give the other champions some companionship. By the way, pay close attention to the creatures that are intended to be used for the Third Task when it is announced. Seek help and guidance if any of them seem too dangerous. In the meantime, this Saturday is a great day for The Four Champions to spend some quality time together with each other.

Harry knew that Remus's suspicions about Viktor and Fleur not having any friends accompanying them to Hogwarts was true. Remus's advice to him reminded Harry of the kindness and compassion that James and Sirius had shown towards Remus himself when he'd first arrived at Hogwarts.

Harry finished the trio of letters by reading Amanda's.

Amanda's letter read:

Dear Harry:

It's good to hear from you, sweetie. Funnily enough, Cedric sent me this same letter a few nights and a few nanoseconds ago. I did not let Amos read Cedric's letter. I made sure to respond to Cedric and burn that letter before Amos could see it. I told Cedric point blank that The Four Champions should patronize Hogsmeade together this Saturday. In the year of The Champions Closer Ties, it is only fitting that The Four Champions take a Hogsmeade visit together. Part of the deal should be creating as many positive memories with each other as you can. You will both have more chances to go to Hogsmeade with your usual friends in the ensuing years and nanoseconds. The chance for The Four Champions to go Hogsmeade together is a limited edition opportunity and needs to be treated as such. By the way, I would like to thank you for having enough trust in me to seek my advice. I remain of the opinion that Cedric's father is missing out on a great opportunity by being too proud. I do not know if I can convince him to attend the Third Task with me. I am not optimistic about that. Amos is actually helping to select the creatures to be used in the Third Task. I will be having regular conversations with him to ensure that these creatures do not include lethifolds, chimeras, or blast ended skrewts. Embrace the Champions Closer Ties with all your heart and all your soul and enjoy the hell out of your day in Hogsmeade with the other champions.

Harry felt touched that Amanda acknowledged his trust in her.

As Sirius, Remus, and Amanda were all in agreement on how to handle the Hogsmeade trip, Harry was going to listen to them.

Next day he informed Neville, Hermione, Ginny, and Luna of his decision at breakfast and they all backed him and the adults.

In the year of The Champions Closer Ties, The Four Champions were going to Hogsmeade together.
