A/N: I'm starting with the third movie because it's the only one that Skylar would logically be in, the only ones I'm not doing are the first and second movies because they wouldn't have known Skylar yet in those. -One Piece Movie Three: Chopper's Kingdom on the Island of Strange Animals-

"The island where the Crowning Treasure sleeps?" Zoro questioned, raising an eyebrow as he continued to lift his weights.

"Right, the island is called Crown Island" Nami nodded.

"Interesting name, very straightforward as well" Skylar chuckled, eyes curiously staring at the map Nami had laid across the kitchen table.

"It's just like Nami-san to find such a great map!" Sanji swooned from his spot stationed near the stove.

"I bet it's a super cool treasure!" Usopp excitedly exclaimed.

"Let's check it out!" Luffy grinned. "I'm getting all pumped up!"

"Let's not" Chopper suddenly piped up from his spot on the floor where he was grinding up some herbs.

"Huh?" everyone tilted their heads as they turned to the reindeer.

"What are you talking about, Chopper?" Zoro asked.

"There's a treasure there just waiting for us" Nami frowned. "What kind of idiot would pass up a chance like this?"

"I thought you would be just as excited as Usopp and Luffy" Skylar said, head tilting as her brows furrowed in slight confusion. "Is something a matter, little guy?" she asked.

"But there might be scary pirates trying to get it!" Chopper worriedly cried, causing the brunette to giggle.

"Come now, don't tell me you already forgot" Skylar grinned.

"You're a pirate too" Nami reminded the reindeer.

"Ah! I forgot!" Chopper embarrassingly cried as he pulled his hat down and over his eyes.

"Gimme a break..." Usopp sighed as he stood up.

"But listen, I get seasick and it'd be bad if anyone got injured!" Chopper argued.

"If you get seasick, then why are you on a boat?" Skylar softly chuckled, eyes shining in amusement as she stared down at her friend.

"If someone does get injured, we've got a doctor on hand, don't we?" Usopp asked.

"We do, but…" Chopper trailed off, not knowing what else he could say to dissuade the others from going to the island.

"Goes to show how new you still are to all this" Usopp sighed. "You can never predict the kind of monsters we'll face."

"Monsters?!" Chopper squealed.

"Yeah" the sharpshooter nodded. "Maybe a One-Ton Vampire Penguin or a Man-Eating Scallop!" he proclaimed.

"That's one hell of an imagination you've got there" Skylar hummed as she rested her chin on the palm of her hand. "But I think you better lighten up—I don't appreciate you scaring the cutie."

"Or a ferocious Giant Takoyaki or a Killer Shrimp Gyouza!" the long-nosed pirate continued, ignoring the brunette as he further scared the poor reindeer.

"How can he believe that?" Nami muttered before snickering when the sharpshooter suddenly released a yelp upon the harsh flick delivered to his nose by Skylar.

"Told you to lighten up, didn't I?" the brunette sweetly smiled, ignoring the glare she received as Chopper backed away from the group. Flinching as accidentally bumped into Luffy who had been quietly drawing this entire time.

"Ah! Sorry" he squeaked, quickly turning to face the captain…only to immediately scream the second he spotted the young man's drawing. "Ahh! A monster!"

"Hey, that's rude! Who are you calling a monster?" Luffy frowned.

"If you scare this easily, you're not fit to be our nakama" Zoro huffed.

"Don't say such stupid things!" Skylar glared, quick to snap at the swordsman for his harsh remark.

"I'm not afraid! If it comes to it, I'll fight bravely with you guys!" Chopper hastily proclaimed, bringing a smile to the brunette's lips.

"Brave words, it'll look bad if you chicken out when the going gets tough" Sanji commented as he began setting down plates of food.

"I-I've become a full-fledged pirate!" Chopper stuttered. "I'm not going to run away!" he declared just as the ship started to violently shake.

"W-w-wha—? What's going on?" Usopp nervously asked as he and the reindeer now started to freak out. Standing, the crew quickly rushed out onto the deck of the Going Merry just in time to witness as the water around them started to shoot upwards.

"Hey, an island!" Luffy pointed right as the ship was thrown into the air. Nami screamed in startlement as Usopp's body fell backward, his own fearful scream cut off by a groan as one of the ship's barrels smashed into his gut. Skylar nervously laughed as she stumbled, her fear of highest kicking in as she grasped the ship's railing. Flinching in startled surprise the second she felt an arm suddenly snake around her waist and pull her flush against someone's side.

"Did an underwater volcano erupt?!" Zoro frowned as he tightened his hold around both the tense teen in his arms and the ship's railing. Luffy shouted as he clung to Nami's tangerine trees, his body wildly bouncing around as he tightly held onto Usopp. Making sure that the sharpshooter didn't go flying off the ship.

"Look! Down there!" Nami shouted as she quickly pointed towards the smoke clouds currently wrapped around a nearby island.

"The smoke clouds are forming a ring!" Zoro gaped.

"A ring?" Luffy questioned.

"Do you think…it could be…?" Usopp trailed off, watching as the others exchanged glances with one another—clearly thinking the same thing as him.

"Yes, no doubt about it" Nami nodded.

"It's Crown Island!" Luffy happily exclaimed as he and everyone peered down at the island they were now soaring over. "What a pretty island!" he grinned.

"That's for sure" Skylar thickly swallowed, her fear momentarily subsiding as she stared down in wonderment at the lush island. "It's so beautiful..." she breathed in awe.

"Oi…this is not the time to be enjoying the view!" Zoro snapped at the two the second he realized the ship was starting to make its descent back toward the ground.

"Chopper!" Skylar gasped as the reindeer suddenly went flying into the air until his tiny body hit the crow's nest. Frantically grabbing at the flag, he soon cried out in fright as the fabric ripped away from the mast and sent him tumbling overboard completely.

"Chopper!" Luffy hastily stretched his arm toward the reindeer before clenching his jaw once he realized that the animal was already too far out of his reach. He and the others soon shouted in fright as the ship finally landed—crashing into the shoreline and sliding back into the water as it did so.

"Oi…guys…you alright?" Zoro groaned, his hold on Skylar tightening as he felt her nails dig into his arm.

"I…I don't know…" she muttered, heart now thundering to a painful degree within her chest as every muscle in her body seemed to be locked right up in fright. Her fingers practically hurt from how hard they were digging into the swordsman's arm.

"Well…kinda…" Usopp weakly responded, his body now tangled up in the ropes of the sail.

"Ah, Nami-san!" Sanji cooed the second he noticed that his head had landed right on the ginger's lap. "I just can't resist-chu!"

"He must think he's died and gone to heaven" Skylar sweat dropped upon seeing the love-stricken expression on the blonde's face.

"Are you alright?"

"Uh…" she owlishly blinked as she looked towards the swordsman, blushing the moment she saw the worry in his eyes as he carefully began looking her over for any injuries. "I'm fine…no need to worry…" she embarrassingly murmured, quick to avert her gaze from his searching one which quickly softened as he softly sighed.

"Hothead!" Nami suddenly snapped as she kicked Sanji off her the second she realized where his head was lying.

"Nami-san is even more wonderful when she's angry!" Sanji swooned as he went flying.

"When is she never wonderful to you?" Skylar sweat dropped.

"Hey, you there!" a new voice suddenly piped up as Sanji crashed back down onto the ground. "Why have you come to this island?" turning their heads, the crew felt their mouths fall agape as they stared at what appeared to be a parrot, a fuzzy purple hippo, and a strange-looking goat standing on the shoreline.

"W-what?" Usopp sputtered. "A bird's talking!" he cried.

"It's a parrot, of course it can talk" Zoro grunted.

"Then there must be other people here" Skylar hummed as she leaned against the railing of the ship.

"Still, they don't normally talk like that!" Nami exclaimed.

"Oh yeah? Says who?" Skylar questioned, cheekily grinning at the sharp glare the ginger sent her.

"Comprehending the human tongue is a trivial task for one such as I" the parrot responded. "Though, honestly, the only animals on the island who can talk are myself and Karasuke the crow."

"Not surprised that the only other animal that can talk is another bird" Skylar hummed.

"Cool! This is a Mystery Island!" Luffy excitedly grinned as he rushed up to the three animals.

"W-who are you?" the parrot nervously asked, quick to lean back and away from the energetic teen.

"Good timing! Do you know Chopper?" Luffy asked. "Chop-pa" he repeated, sounding out the reindeer's name.

"Choppa?" the parrot questioned, parroting the young man's words yet mispronouncing the reindeer's name.

-Elsewhere-

Outside of a cave, a bunch of animals gathered and watched as an elephant hit a log against a bell, causing it to ring throughout the island. Inside the cave, a young boy and a crow stood before a strange lion that had horns protruding from its skull. "Kirin Lion?" the young boy quietly questioned as he noted how still and lifeless the lion's body was.

"Mobambi, the king lived out his life, it was his time to die" Karasuke told the child. "You can't stay mourning forever."

"I know that Karasuke…" Mobambi muttered, head drooping. "When the island bears a crown, the Heavens shall bestow a new Animal King" he recited as he and Karasuke left the cave. Opting to take a walk around the island while leaving the rest of the animals to mourn the loss of their king. "But is that true—that so-called legend? Will performing the ceremony really summon a new king?" he curiously asked.

"Yeah, probably" Karasuke nodded. "The elders always have faith in it" he pointed out right as Chopper's body came crashing down from the sky. Striking the ground, the reindeer groaned before crying as he went tumbling down a hill, causing the crew's flag—which was wrapped tightly around his neck—to flutter out from behind him in a similar manner to a cape.

"A new Animal King from the Heavens…no matter how you look at it, it's hard to believe…" Mobambi wistfully breathed as the reindeer tumbled off a cliff, falling straight down toward the crowd of strange animals—his bottom immediately landing straight on a pointed rock.

"Ooohhh!" Chopper cried in pain, causing his body to grow big as he accidentally transformed into his human form.

"Ou? Did he say king?!" Mobambi gasped.

"He fell from the Heavens! Could it be?" Karasuke curiously asked.

"Ooohhh!" Chopper continued to cry in pain before his body finally fell forward and off the rock, returning to its normal size as he did so. Pushing himself to stand, he stumbled around for a bit before falling once again, wincing at the pain that shot up from his now-aching bottom.

"It's the Animal King!" one of the animals suddenly cried, causing the rest to cheer. "A new Animal King has appeared!"

"Animal King?" Chopper questioned, looking around in confusion. "A king? Where?" he asked.

"This is great! Human speech!" Mobambi excitedly noted as he rushed towards the reindeer. "He can speak human!" he eagerly cheered.

"Who are you? What is this Animal King?" Chopper asked.

"Don't be silly! You are the new king!" the boy responded.

"So the legend was true…" Karasuke mumbled before walking over to the reindeer himself. "You're our new Animal King" he revealed.

"King?" Chopper questioned, eyes widening as his jaw became slack the moment he processed what the crow had said. "I'm the Animal King?!"

-Straw Hats-

"Ah! I'm hungry!" Luffy whined as the crew took a break from their search for Chopper, their bodies immediately plopping down atop some nearby rocks as they came to a stop.

"There's nothing but grassland and jungles everywhere we turn" Usopp noted. "Finding Chopper in all of this isn't going to be easy."

"Still, we have to try—poor guy is probably scared and all alone" Skylar worriedly frowned.

"But really, why are you guys following us?" Sanji asked as he looked back at the parrot, hippo, and goat who were currently following the six of them.

"Silence, human!" the parrot snapped. "I don't know the intentions of you outsiders, I'm honestly keeping my eye on you" he confessed.

"We're no one you need to worry about—we're not going to eat you" Zoro responded as he gently took Skylar's hand into his own and gave it a comforting squeeze—wishing to calm the woman's nerves as she worriedly stared out into the grassland around them.

"Well, most of us don't want to eat you…" Skylar corrected, silently eyeing the famished look on their captain's face.

"Meat!" Luffy suddenly shouted as he began flailing his limbs around. "Meat! I want to sink my teeth into some meat! I'm so hungry! I want to eat some meat right now!" he childishly whined. "Gimme some!"

"Honestly, suspicious…" that parrot whispered as he sweat dropped.

"Meat! Meat! Meat! Meat!" Luffy chanted as a pig made its way over to where the group was stationed. "I want some meat!" he loudly demanded.

"You're so demanding when you're hungry" Skylar snorted.

"What's that weird pig doing?" Nami questioned, eyes squinting as she looked towards the pig that was charging at them, making odd noises as it did so.

"A weird pig?!" Luffy eagerly shot up, eyes widening as his tongue lulled out and he began to drool an absurd amount.

"I know you're hungry, but no need to be gross about it!" Skylar scolded, disgusted by the pool of drool that came spilling down her captain's chin.

"It's the Trumpet Pig! It seems that a new Animal King has appeared!" the parrot gasped as the pig took off running once more in a new direction once it was certain everyone in this area had heard its call.

"Animal King? What's that?" Luffy curiously asked before jumping as a large group of animals suddenly rushed past.

"Whoa! It's an animal stamped" Sanji whistled.

"Where were they all hiding?" Luffy asked, confused and startled by the group's sudden appearance.

"They look so strange, I've never seen animals like these before" Skylar remarked, eyes curiously examining each animal that ran by.

"This is honestly worth celebrating—the birth of a new Animal King!" the parrot exclaimed as the rocks the crew was seated upon suddenly began to move, revealing that they themselves were animals as well.

"What are these?" Nami asked. "I thought they were just rocks!"

"They're Square Rhinos!" Usopp gaped.

"Cool!" Luffy laughed.

"You're telling me! That's some good camouflage right there" Skylar whistled, grinning as she joined in on her captain's laughter.

-Chopper-

"Why am I the Animal King?" Chopper asked as he examined the poofy prince-like outfit he currently wore, the crew's flag still wrapped tightly around his neck as a crown now rested upon his head. In front of him was a table that was cluttered with all kinds of food on it.

"Because you fell from the Heavens just like the legend said" Mobambi explained.

"And where the heck did these clothes come from?" the reindeer frowned.

"Well, a long time ago, I—that's not important" Mobambi shook his head. "H-hey! Where are you going?" he jolted the second he spotted the reindeer walking away.

"Home! My nakama's ship" the reindeer responded.

"What are you saying? If our king leaves, who'll protect the island?" Mobambi frowned as he snatched up the back of the reindeer's shirt.

"I'm no freakin' king! I'm Tony Tony Chopper!" Chopper snapped.

"So you're Chopper? That's a nice name" Mobambi complimented. "I'm Mobambi."

"Really? I have a nice name? You really think so?" Chopper blinked. "The man that taught me medicine—the greatest doctor in the world—gave me that name."

"Eh? You're a doctor?" Mobambi brightened. "That's great! Actually, quite a few of our nakama are injured right now" he explained. "You really are amazing" he praised.

"Am I…that great…?" Chopper shyly asked.

"Of course! If the going gets tough, you'll be a great help!" Mobambi smiled.

"Well, it's nothing that great…" Chopper mumbled.

"You're probably brave and really strong too!" Mobambi continued.

"M-moron!" Chopper bashfully exclaimed as he suddenly grew big and destroyed a nearby rock out of embarrassment.

"W-wow! Cool!" Mobambi awed as the reindeer quickly returned to normal size.

"No matter how much you praise me, it won't make me happy" Chopper happily clapped, furry face now split by a wide smile. "Asshole" he giggled.

"You look pretty happy…" Mobambi sweat dropped.

"Asshole" Chopper laughed once more, still clapping his hoofs together as his smile grew.

"Alright, everyone! As part of our crowned Animal King celebration, let's hear his coronation speech" Karasuke suddenly spoke up as the rest of the animals now gathered around the reindeer.

"Hold on, I never agreed to be your king" Chopper quickly reminded them.

"You can't?" Mobambi tilted his head.

"Sorry, I'm—Ooohhh!" Chopper suddenly cried as he accidentally stepped back onto a pointed rock. His body tumbled backward as he clutched his foot in pain while the crown on top of his head fell off.

"He announced, Ou!" Mobambi brightened. "You'll really be our king, won't you?" he eagerly asked.

"What a marvelous coronation speech" Karasuke praised as the animals around them cheered while Chopper continued to lay sprawled out on the ground—tears now rushing down his furry cheeks.

-Straw Hats-

"Ow! That was a rough landing…" Skylar winced, rubbing her lower back as the Straw Hats were suddenly tossed from the Square Rhinos' backs.

"What is this place?" Luffy asked as he looked around. "It's so cool!" he exclaimed with stars in his eyes.

It wasn't long before the rubber man and Usopp was having fun being thrown around after the crew had finished disguising themselves like animals in an attempt to fit in with their surroundings. Now cautious about the fact that they were the only humans on the island.

"He takes his playtime way too seriously…" Nami grumbled.

"Yeah" Sanji sighed.

"At least they're having fun" Skylar weakly smiled before taking a moment to examine her and everyone's makeshift costumes. Sanji was a panda, Nami a monkey, Luffy a deer, Usopp a lion, Zoro a penguin, and her a panther. Heaving a sigh, a yelp suddenly tore from the back of her throat as she jumped. Startled, the others quickly looked at her in frantic concern, only to relax as Nami began to giggle the moment she spied the brunette's flushed cheeks and Zoro's cocky grin.

"Oi, what's wrong?" Usopp asked when he finally noticed that the others hadn't joined him and the captain yet. "After all the trouble I went through to make these camouflage costumes, you're not going to join us?" he huffed.

"Nah, we'll pass" Sanji shook his head.

"Maybe next time" Skylar said, smiling as she watched her excited captain run around—already having the animals of the island chasing after him as he cheerfully laughed.

"This island sure is fun" Luffy remarked as Usopp hurriedly joined him in running around, the two laughing as they ran. Sadly, their fun was quick to come to an end as the animals chasing them suddenly came to a screeching halt upon spying a large black sheep rushing at them. In the snap of a finger, the animals turned around—quickly scampering away from the sheep in fear as they did so. "What are those?" the captain asked upon spying the sheep.

"They're Horn Eaters!" the strange parrot from before cried out.

"Horn Eaters?" Luffy blinked.

"They blindly attack horned animals—they've caused the deaths of the island's elders" the parrot explained before taking flight, quick in wanting to get away from the sheep like the rest of the animals.

"Yosh! Then let me kick their asses!" Luffy exclaimed.

"Oi! Forget it, it's too risky!" Usopp snapped as he quickly picked up the captain and ran.

"W-what?" Skylar squealed as Zoro suddenly picked her up, her hands flying up to her reddened face as the rest of the crew started to run their separate ways. "I can run just fine on my own!" she embarrassingly cried as the Horn Eaters barreled their way towards the captain and sharpshooter. Seemingly uninterested in the rest of the crew.

"Why the hell are they following me!" Usopp fearfully cried.

"Those horns! They prey on animals with horns!" the parrot squawked as he motioned to the fake deer horns that rested on the top of Luffy's head.

"Horns?" Usopp questioned as he looked at his captain before gently setting him down. "There" and with that, he took off running at full speed.

"Oi! Wait up!" Luffy shouted. "Go that way" he quickly removed the horns on his head before throwing them in front of him where they only landed a couple feet away.

"He…he can't be serious…" Skylar sweat dropped as she and the rest watched from the sidelines as their captain was trampled over.

"Why did you throw them in front of you?!" Nami snapped.

-Chopper-

"Everyone will be fine now" Chopper sighed as he finished tending to the last of the wounded animals. "You'll all be able to run again soon" he assured them.

"You're great, Chopper! Everyone's overjoyed!" Mobambi smiled. "We're glad to have you as our king!" he joyfully exclaimed.

"Still, I can only be king while I'm here on this island" Chopper explained to the young boy.

"What do you mean?" Mobambi blinked.

"I have to return to my nakama's pirate ship" the reindeer told him.

"Pirate ship? So your nakama are…pirates…?" Mobambi quietly asked.

"Yup, isn't it funny?" Chopper smiled, not noticing how the boy's fists clenched as his jaw tightened. "You're a human, but you live with animals and I'm a reindeer, but I travel with humans. I wonder how they're all doing? They should've noticed the smoke and come to look for me by now" he hummed as he sat down in front of the fire he had made. Hopeful that its smoke would be visible from wherever his crew currently was on the island.

"Forget them!" Mobambi snapped before angrily throwing dirt onto the fire. "You're our king now!" he proclaimed, stomping out the rest of the fire as he did so.

"What are you doing?" Chopper gasped.

"You've made so many friends here! You have to stay!" Mobambi exclaimed as he frantically grabbed hold of Chopper's shoulders. "From now on we'll be your nakama—quit being a pirate and live with us here!"

"Mobambi…do you…hate pirates?" Chopper hesitantly asked the minute he felt the boy's grip tighten on his shoulders.

"My papa…was killed by pirates" Mobambi sadly explained, letting go of Chopper and turning on his heel as he sullenly walked away. Quickly, the reindeer followed after as he let the child lead him to the opening of a small hut close to the island's shoreline.

"What is this?" Chopper curiously asked.

"Remnants of Papa's ship…" Mobambi quietly answered as he untied the locket around his arm and opened it to reveal a picture of said man. "Papa was a zoologist on his way to this island" he began, recounting the woeful tale of how his father died to the reindeer beside him. "Then I washed ashore on this island, the former Animal King—the Kirin Lion—took care of me as his nakama and raised me" he explained. "That's why any talk about pirates…"

"But my nakama are good pirates" Chopper defended.

"How the hell can there be a good pirate?!" Mobambi snapped.

"Well…once you meet them, you'll understand" Chopper sweetly smiled. "I know! I'll ask Luffy if he'll give you a ride on our ship—"

"You've got to be kidding me?! Who'd want to ride with pirates?" Mobambi bitterly spat as he cut the reindeer off.

"Mobambi…?" Chopper quietly questioned.

"You can't stay with them! You're an animal, right?" Mobambi frowned, causing Chopper to sadly look down. "It's obviously better for you to live among your fellow animals!"

-Elsewhere-

Grinning, a pink-haired man played his violin as he watched with sickening glee as the Horn Eaters chased down their most recent prey. Off to the side of where he played sat two more men who quickly stood the moment the sheep began tossing their prey into the air. The heaviest of the two pulled out a mace, swinging it around as the other drew a rather strange-looking sword. Moving toward the weakened animals, they wasted no time in viciously ripping their horns from their skulls as they descended upon them with little to no mercy. Once finished, they carelessly tossed the wounded animals into the water before gathering up their spoils.

In the distance, a Trumpet Pig fearfully watched the men as the wounded animals they had tossed aside gently floated down the stream and over a nearby waterfall. Turning around, the pig immediately took off running.

-Straw Hats-

"Have you seen Chopper? He looks like this" Luffy asked as he held up the rock he had drawn on to the two otters in front of him. No longer in disguise, the rest of the crew stood off to the side and watched their captain.

"No, he doesn't!" Skylar snapped.

"Maybe this isn't quite him" Luffy hummed as he turned the rock back towards him and redid the drawing after a moment's thought. "Like this! Like this!" he chanted once he was finished.

"That doesn't look anything like him either!" Skylar snapped once again, amazed they had let the one person who couldn't draw, draw a picture of their missing friend.

"So have you seen him?" Luffy asked the two otters.

"C'mon, Skylar's right, there's nothing that looks like that" Usopp sighed before perking up at the sudden sound of a strange noise coming from somewhere deep within the island.

"Huh? What's that sound?" Sanji asked.

"Are there other people here?" Zoro asked, quick to wrap a protective arm around Skylar who was immediately flustered at his actions.

"Let's check it out, we might find some clues" Nami suggested, quietly giggling at the two sword users before walking away.

"Yeah" Usopp nodded as he and the others quickly followed after the ginger.

"C-come on, we don't want to get left behind…" Skylar murmured as she slipped from the swordsman's grasp before taking his hand and hurriedly following after the rest.

"Right…" Zoro coughed, a pink hue now coloring his cheeks as he threaded their fingers together and squeezed her hand before walking alongside her. Looking ahead, Skylar felt her blush darken as a small smile graced her lips.

-Elsewhere-

"A grand catch indeed!" Butler boisterously laughed as he stared down at the many horns that now littered his table. "With these many horns, I'm bound to find it" he grinned.

"Butler-sama, here's your mayonnaise and ketchup" Hotdog said as he sat down both condiments.

"Fool!" Butler suddenly snapped.

"Huh?" the heavy man blinked, confused.

"Where's the mustard?!" Butler frowned as he picked up one of the horns.

"Yes, here you are" Snake said before he and his companion began squirting all three condiments onto the horn that Butler held. Once the pink-haired man was pleased, he bit into the horn. Seemingly unbothered by its hard exterior, he casually munched on it.

"How do you feel, Butler-sama?" Snake asked. "Any unusual reactions to your body?"

"No, nothing at all" Butler sighed in dejection. "Next" he grabbed for another horn just as the Straw Hats approached him and his men.

"Hey, you're eating some strange stuff—is it tasty?" Luffy curiously asked.

"Are you still carrying that horrible drawing around?" Skylar sweat dropped upon seeing that the captain still had that rock drawing of his.

"Omae, you say?! Who the hell are you?!" Butler snapped.

"We're looking for someone who looks like this, seen him?" Luffy asked as he held up the rock, showcasing his awful drawing once again.

"Stop that!" Skylar snapped as she smacked the back of the captain's head.

"Foul-mouthed whelp! Do you know who you're addressing using such slander?" Butler suddenly sneered as if offended by the casual way in which the teen had approached him.

"You'd better be more careful with your choice of words!" Hotdog exclaimed.

"Else prepare for the consequences!" Snake proclaimed as he grabbed for the sword on his back. Standing from his seat, Butler moved in front of the Straw Hats with his fist already pulled back. Though he clearly intended to strike Luffy, he instead hit the rock that the rubber man was carrying the second he swung. Shivering at the pain that blossomed in his fist and up his arm, he loudly yowled and began to jump around in agony.

"Butler-sama!" his henchmen worriedly cried as they hurriedly turned to their boss.

"Butler-sama, please use this" Snake said as he started to squirt mustered onto the pink-haired man's throbbing hand.

"You moron! What will putting mustard on it do?!" Butler snapped.

"How about this?" Hotdog questioned, already squirting ketchup on the throbbing hand.

"Ketchup won't do any good either!" Butler growled before blinking as he and the other two men suddenly remembered that the Straw Hats were still there. "You must realize how fearsome I am now!" he quickly laughed. "I bet you're curious as to how great I really am, right?" he asked the group.

"No, not at all" they shook their heads.

"I am a genius inventor, a genius zoologist, not to mention a genius at treasure hunting" Butler smugly boasted. "I call myself the "World's Ultra Super Genius," Count Butler!" he proclaimed.

"The world's greatest genius?!" Luffy gaped, eyes wide and bright with excitement. "Cool!"

"He just said he calls himself that, but that doesn't mean he's literally the greatest genius in the world" Skylar sweat dropped. "Besides, I don't know many geniuses that go around punching rocks…" she grumbled.

"And I pride myself as the "World's Strongest Man," General Hotdog!" Hotdog boasted.

"World's strongest?" Zoro questioned as he gave Skylar's hand a tight squeeze, his interest now piqued as he eyed the heavy man.

"Pirates are humbled whenever they hear the name of Mad Dog Hotdog!" Hotdog smugly stated, causing Skylar to choke back a laugh at how ridiculous the statement sounded.

"And I'm the "World's Handsomest Man," President Snake!" Snake proudly proclaimed, causing the brunette to raise an eyebrow as she eyed his gangly form and greasy black hair.

"Huh? World's handsomest man?" Sanji hummed.

"Once I choose my prey, be it foe or woman, it shall not escape" Snake said. "All grovel in fear before Snake the Poison Snake!" he huffed.

"Pfft!" Skylar quietly snorted as Usopp suddenly tossed both a bone and frog in two separate directions, causing Hotdog and Snake to go chasing after them.

"Quit tricking us!" the two henchmen snapped after returning.

"Hey, you guys, would you happen to be seeking the Crowning Treasure?" Nami curiously asked.

"Why of course, my fair lady" Snake bowed.

"Oh, how wonderful!" Nami smiled. "Could you give me some leads on the treasure?"

"It would be my pleasure" Snake purred as he straightened his posture before taking hold of the ginger's hand, which naturally infuriated Sanji. "But, under one condition…"

"You know, he kind of reminds me of someone…" Skylar sweat dropped.

"Condition?" Nami echoed with the tilt of her head.

"If you want to hear the secrets of the treasure, you must become one of my henchmen" Butler cockily explained.

"Oh? Is that all?" Nami asked with a sweet smile. "I'll be your henchman or whatever you want me to be."

"No!" Luffy suddenly snapped.

"Huh?" everyone blinked as they were quickly taken aback by the teen's sharp tone.

"Hey, what are you doing, Luffy?" Usopp asked. "This is our chance to get closer to the secret of the treasure, y'know?"

"But this guy's evil!" Luffy huffed.

"How dare you make such accusations!" Butler snapped, forgetting that the word "Evil" was spelled out on the back of his jacket. "What makes you think I'm evil?" he hissed.

"Nothing, just a gut feeling" Luffy shrugged.

"Also, your face..." Skylar added under her breath.

"What?!" Butler snapped as Nami hit both her captain and the sharpshooter on top of the head.

"W-what are you doing, Nami?" Usopp weakly asked as he and the rubber man fell to the ground, bumps already starting to form on their heads.

"Idiot! What good will pissing them off do?" Nami sneered. "They were just about to tell me the secret of the Crowning Treasure!"

"But why did you hit me?" Usopp cried.

"Oh, zip it! I just felt like it!" she snapped.

"You people…" Butler frowned.

"Butler-sama, these freaks have a distinct scent of stupidity" Hotdog huffed.

"And they're low class at that" Snake pointed out, causing Skylar to scoff as she rolled her eyes.

"Oh? A bunch of morons, now that just won't do" Butler sighed as he shook his head. "I'll not tell you anything about the secret to the treasure" he frowned.

"Oh, pretty please" Nami begged as she clasped her hands together, giving her best puppy dog eyes to the man.

"Tell us, pretty please" Usopp begged as well as he blew a kiss toward the three men, causing Skylar to giggle.

"Never!" Butler snapped. "He who obtains the Crowning Treasure will receive the power to shake the very universe! Of course, I'll never tell you that."

"You just told us" Skylar deadpanned as the other's eyes widened in shock.

"Furthermore, the fact that the Crown Treasure is actually a mysterious power hidden within the horns of a special animal will never leave my lips, and look. After hypnotizing the wild Horn Eaters with this Wild Animal Violin I invented, I brought them to this very island" Butler continued as he pulled his violin out from his jacket. "But that is a secret I will never tell you, even if the universe ceases to exist!"

"How…how can you call yourself a genius…?" Skylar sweat dropped, baffled by how easily the man had given up such crucial information.

"Oh shit! I told 'em! I told 'em everything!" Butler panicked as he realized what he had done.

"You runts are rather crafty to extract such secret information from Butler-sama!" Hotdog growled.

"No, he straight out told us himself" Sanji shook his head.

"Silence! Butler-sama's personality prevents him from concealing secrets!" Snake snapped, quick to make an excuse for his boss.

"Shit!" Butler cursed as he held up his violin. "Now that you all know the secret, I cannot let you live!"

"Oi! What kind of reasoning is that?!" Usopp snapped.

"The reasoning of a genius I suppose" Skylar sarcastically answered as Zoro took a protective stance in front of her.

"Summon Horn Eaters!" Butler proclaimed as he started to play his violin. "Trample these fools to death!" he ordered as the Horn Eaters came rushing at the pirates who quickly readied their respective weapons. However, they soon grew confused when their captain suddenly stood up and turned to them with an enraged look on his face that easily scared both Nami and Usopp. Stretching his arms out, the teen wrapped them tightly around his friends and started to spin around before sending them all tumbling over the cliff edge and toward the canyon below.

Zoro was the quickest to react as he wrapped his around a petrified Skylar who stared wide-eyed at the fast-approaching ground. Her heart practically leaped up into her throat and choked her as she hurriedly grabbed hold of the swordsman's shirt and buried her face into his chest. Butler immediately stopped playing his violin the second he noticed that the Straw Hats were no longer standing in front of him, looking both confused and pleased as he peered towards the cliffside edge that the group had tumbled over.

"Luffy, why the hell were you hypnotized too?!" Usopp snapped as the group continued to fall.

"Dunno" Luffy shrugged as he crossed his arms, seemingly unbothered by the fact that they were currently falling to their deaths.

"His brain waves must be on the same level as a wild animal" Zoro sneered, causing a small snort to leave Skylar as she continued to keep her face buried within his chest as to avoid acknowledging what was happening.

"That's a bit mean, but I can't argue with you" she said, voice muffled by his shirt.

"Oh! That must be it!" Luffy quickly nodded in agreement.

"I should tell you, that's not a compliment" Sanji piped up.

"Oh…" Luffy said before blinking as he looked down at the crocodile-infested waters they were currently falling towards. Hungrily peering up at the group, the strange crocodiles wasted no time in opening their jaws wide.

"Crocodiles!" Usopp fearfully screamed.

"Seems like it" Zoro nodded.

"Just our luck…" Skylar grumbled.

"Do something!" Usopp cried as he flailed his arms around. "You're responsible for this, Luffy!"

"Gum Gum Balloon!" sucking in a deep breath, the rubber man's body instantly inflated as he hit the crocodiles' mouths, allowing the others to bounce off his inflated body and straight into the water while he was left to go rolling down the river after them.

It didn't take long for the group to find a broken tree branch floating down the river to climb on to and use to calmly and safely sail onwards after collecting their runaway captain.

"I'm pretty sure there's enough room here for me to sit…" Skylar embarrassingly mumbled, face bright red as she sat between Zoro's legs.

"Hm, I don't think there is" Zoro hummed, a satisfied grin on his face as he ignored Nami's giggling and Sanji's fuming as the two looked at him with a mixture of gleeful amusement and searing annoyance. "Besides, you have a bad habit of hunching over when you don't have something to support your back" he pointed out, grin widening at the brunette's sputtering as she quickly denied his claims about her possibly having poor posture when sitting.

"Well, I never imagined the Crowning Treasure would be the horns of an animal" Nami suddenly said after a moment of silence.

"Come to think of it, I heard that in some country in the West Blue, there's an animal's horn that can be used to make a powerful stamina-enhancing drug" Sanji explained after a moment's thought. "It's supposed to be more valuable than any amount of gold or gems."

"Kinda sounds like a Devil Fruit" Usopp said.

"Yeah, you could say that" Sanji nodded.

"This must be their doing" Zoro suddenly noted as his gaze drifted toward the wounded and unconscious animals that currently lay ashore.

"Oh no, those poor cuties…" Skylar sadly murmured as she worriedly looked towards the shore, her embarrassment quickly giving way to worry as she mournfully stared at the unconscious beasts.

"This is horrible" Nami frowned.

"At times like this, we really need Chopper's medical skills" Sanji sighed.

"Hey…if they're after animals with horns specifically…" Skylar trailed off as a horrifying realization dawned upon her and the others.

"She's right, Chopper's in danger too!" Usopp gasped.

"He'll be fine" Luffy suddenly assured everyone. "He's pretty strong, not to mention brave" he brightly smiled.

"You think so?" Usopp asked.

"Yeah, he's right" Skylar gently smiled.

"He wouldn't be our nakama if he was some weakling, now would he?" Luffy asked. "Right, Sanji? Zoro?"

"That's a given" Zoro nodded.

"That's right" Sanji hummed.

"Oi! Oi, be serious now—are you certain he'll be alright?" Usopp frowned. "Won't he be in danger unless we find him soon?" he questioned right as a familiar parrot started to fly overhead.

"But where should we start—ah! That's it, we'll ask the Animal King!" Nami exclaimed the second she spotted the parrot, an idea already forming in her head. "He might know where Chopper is" she said.

"Great idea" Luffy brightened as he stood up. "Yosh! Let's go meet the Animal King!"

"Yeah, let's go!" Usopp nodded as the captain stretched his arms upwards and grabbed hold of the passing parrot, quick to jump onto his back before he could fly away.

"H-hey you!" the parrot squawked in surprise as the rest of the crew followed after their captain and the bird from below.

"Sorry about this, but we're looking for an important nakama of ours" Luffy explained. "Could you take us to the Animal King's place?" he asked as the strange goat and hippo from before now blocked the rest of the crew's path.

"There! There!" Nami smiled as she tried her best to calm the irritated goat down. "If you take me to meet the Animal King, I'll let you eat this lovely paper" she cooed, pulling a piece of paper from her pocket and holding it up for the animal to see. As she distracted the two animals, Usopp, Sanji, Zoro, and Skylar quickly hopped atop the hippo while Nami climbed onto the goat's back. "Lookie" hastily tying the piece of paper to a string and stick, she grinned as she held it out, causing the goat to rush forward in an attempt to grab at the sheet.

"Sorry, I hope we aren't too heavy" Skylar softly apologized as she sweetly stroked the top of the hippo's head the moment it took off after the goat, smiling just a little when the animal leaned into her touch just the slightest.

"You're terribly heavy! Go easy on my back!" the parrot snapped as he followed after the two animals, Luffy still sitting on top of his back as he did so. Hidden within the shadows of the trees, Butler, Snake, and Hotdog watched as the group disappeared out of sight the further they got.

"Those fools appear to have survived" Snake remarked.

"But thanks to them, we've overheard some wonderful information" Hotdog grinned.

"Ah-ha! I never knew there was an Animal King on this island" Butler brightened. "Following them could lead us to the truth behind the Crowning Treasure."

-Chopper-

"What did you say?" Mobambi asked after hearing what the Trumpet Pig had to say. "There are evil humans manipulating the Horn Eaters and attacking animals all over the island?" he repeated, causing a ruckus to start amongst the other animals. "It'll be alright, we have a new king to lead us! He'll exterminate them for us in the blink of an eye" he assured the animals around him, causing them to instantly calm down.

"Idiot! What are you talking about?!" Chopper snapped as he backed away from the boy and the animals. "What if I get hurt fighting them?" he worried.

"You won't help us?" Mobambi sadly asked.

"Help you?" Chopper questioned.

"Mobambi!" Karasuke called down to the boy as he flew towards the group. "We've got trouble—humans are heading this way!"

"Humans?!" Mobambi gasped as the animals around him became wide-eyed before looking towards the jungle. There they saw a cloud of smoke quickly heading towards their direction. "That's them, that must be them!" the boy fearfully cried. "Chopper! Hey, you're strong, aren't you? Chopper?

"You're the king after all, so are you going to chicken out when we need you the most?" he asked, causing the nervous expression Chopper wore to melt away and be replaced by a look of determination.

"Of course not, I'll…fight bravely when it's called for!" he bravely proclaimed.

-Straw Hats-

"But what's the Animal King like?" Luffy curiously asked as the crew made their way towards the Animal King.

"To be called Animal King, he's got to be pretty impressive, right?" Usopp questioned. "He must be 10 meters—no make that 50 meters tall!"

"What is he? A giraffe?" Skylar raised an eyebrow.

"50 meters! Awesome!" Luffy sparkled.

-Chopper-

"Yes, they're wicked villains! They must be coming to slaughter us for our pelts!" Karasuke exclaimed, causing the animals around him to shiver in fear.

-Straw Hats-

"Yeah! Yeah! No mistaking it" Usopp eagerly nodded. "I bet he has tens—no, hundreds of horns!"

"What?! For real?" Luffy gasped.

"That's nearly impossible!" Skylar snapped at the two. "No animal could handle that much weight!"

-Chopper-

"I'm sure of it! They're here to slaughter and devour every one of us!" Karasuke wailed, scaring the animals around him further.

"N-no way…that's too cruel!" Mobambi winced.

-Straw Hats-

"No, no, no! Not just that!" Usopp shook his head. "He's probably made up of bears and elephants and lions and tigers and herrings and a cod! One terrifying beast!"

"Whoa! He's that awesome, eh?!" Luffy excitedly exclaimed.

"That's ridiculous!" Skylar and Zoro snapped, the swordsman now becoming fed up with the sharpshooter's ridiculous speculations.

-Chopper-

Chopper trembled as he watched the humans draw closer, his earlier determination quickly dwindling and fading the longer he was forced to wait. His eyes slowly widened and his jaw clenched as he started to think about what these violent fiends possibly looked like.

"Where's the Animal King?" Luffy shouted upon his and the others' arrival, unintentionally scaring the reindeer who fearfully screamed and took off running. Finally giving into the weight on his back, the parrot grunted as he fell from the sky. Upon hitting the ground, Luffy tumbled off of his back and went rolling across the dirt until finally, he came to a halt right in front of Chopper's hiding spot.

"Stop!" the reindeer cried before falling silent as he finally got a good look at the intruder who had come falling from the sky. "Luffy!" he gasped.

"Oh! Chopper!" Luffy brightened upon sitting up.

"Chopper!" Nami happily exclaimed, feeding the goat the paper she had promised it before hurryingly approaching the reindeer.

"Chopper! It's so good to see you're alright!" Skylar grinned as she jumped from the hippo's back. "Thank you for the ride, we appreciate it" she cooed as she gently petted the hippo in gratitude, causing it to make a happy sound of contentment at the affection it received.

"So you're safe!" Usopp smiled as he ran towards the reindeer.

"What's with that outfit?" Sanji questioned with a raised brow.

"Aw, don't you look handsome" Skylar sweetly cooed, quick to melt at the sight of the reindeer all dressed up and dapper much to the doctor's embarrassment.

"Did you guys come just for me?" Chopper curiously asked.

"Man, you had us worried" Zoro said.

"That's for sure" Skylar nodded.

"What are you doing? Hurry up and exterminate these fiends, Your Majesty!" Mobambi suddenly snapped.

"Your Majesty?" the Straw Hats questioned.

"Could it be…that you're the…?" Usopp trailed off, not having to finish the question as it was clear what he was trying to ask.

"Yeah! He's our king!" Mobambi nodded.

"Be afraid, humans!" Karasuke cawed. "Soon you will be crushed at the hands of our great king!"

"Cute…" Skylar quietly chuckled, unable to stop herself from finding the bird's attempts at being intimidating adorable as he angrily flapped his wings and puffed up his feathers.

"Chopper, you're the Animal King?" Sanji questioned.

"Hey, Chopper, recognize this guy?" Luffy asked as he pulled a boulder with a drawing on it over towards the reindeer. "He's like a 1,000 meters tall and got horns and fangs and he's made up of bears and lions and whales and—"

"That's Chopper, idiot!" Skylar and Nami frowned.

"What?! When did you get to be that cool?" Luffy gasped.

"Don't you get it yet, moron?" Sanji scowled as he kicked the rubber man's head.

"Everyone, there's nothing to worry about" Chopper assured the frightened animals. "They're my nakama."

"Yo" Zoro greeted, causing the animals to fearfully back away.

"Looks like they're scared of you" Skylar giggled. "Though I can't say that I blame them considering your face and all" she playfully teased.

"Oh yeah? And what exactly is that supposed to mean?" Zoro glared, huffing as he pinched the laughing teen's cheek and began to pull.

"P-pirates!" Mobambi sputtered as he recalled what the reindeer had told him earlier about his friends.

"Yeah! Aren't they something?" Chopper smiled.

"Man, I'm hungry!" Luffy suddenly whined as his stomach began to growl once more. "Chopper, there anything to eat around here?" he asked as he weakly draped himself across a nearby rock, already acting like a man dying of hunger.

"Eh? Oh, I'll go get you something right now" Chopper said.

"You mean it?" Luffy brightened as he hopped back onto his feet, he and the others quick to follow after the reindeer.

"That's the Animal King for you" Usopp smiled.

"It's great! This is great food you've got here" Luffy praised as he continued to stuff his face.

"Careful now, don't choke" Skylar remarked before taking a bite of the apple in her hand.

"I won't" he spoke, swallowing all the food in his mouth in one single gulp much to the amusement and horror of the brunette as she watched him start to stuff his face once more.

"You sure were hungry" Chopper giggled as he watched their captain eat. "I'll go get you some more" he offered.

"We're pretty lucky, huh?" Nami questioned. "We found Chopper and then he turns out to be the Animal King."

"I kind of envy him—I could get used to being king" Sanji sighed. "Although I'd rather be a prince than a king" he confessed. "I'd rescue beautiful damsels in distress and—"

"Are you some kind of moron?" Zoro suddenly interrupted, causing the brunette beside him to choke on her apple as she started to laugh.

"What?!" Sanji snapped.

"You talk too much, just use your trap to eat, Prince" Zoro scoffed, the corners of his lips slightly twitching as Skylar pounded her chest—coughing laughter wheezing past her lips in the process.

"That's rich coming from someone who does nothing but sculpt his body all day…" Sanji grumbled.

"Ooh, he got you there" Skylar chuckled, voice a little croaky from her harsh coughing.

"You piece of shit! Why don't I shut that foul mouth of yours?!" Zoro snapped as he lunged at the blond, triggering a fight between the two that sent the brunette into another laughing fit.

"Shut up! You're not much better with yours!" Sanji sneered.

"What's so good about these people?!" Mobambi bitterly asked as he stared at the two in irritation.

"Hey, Shorty!" Luffy suddenly called out through a mouthful.

"I'm not "Shorty!" I'm Mobambi!" the boy snapped.

"Fruits are good and all, but don't you have any meat?" Luffy asked, unphased by the child's frustration. "Meat?"

"M—" Karasuke stared in shock.

"M—" the parrot's eyes widened.

"Meat!" the rest of the animals cried.

"Maybe you shouldn't have said that, Luffy" Skylar winced as she watched the animals take flight, hastily running away from the group in fear as if frightened they'd be devoured by the rubber man any second now.

"They all ran away!" Nami snapped as she angrily hit the captain.

"Be careful with what you freakin' say!" Usopp scowled.

"Listen, all of you" Karasuke frowned. "Once you're done with that, leave this island and don't ever come back!" he sneered.

"But, before that, would you mind telling us something?" Nami suddenly asked. "Is there such a thing as the Crowning Treasure or…?"

"Crowning Treasure? What's that?" Karasuke blinked.

"It seems you came here believing a tall tale, but it honestly was a waste of your time" the parrot sighed, the only one seemingly knowing what the ginger was asking.

"Please don't say that, not even a little hint?" Nami whined as she pleadingly clasped her hands.

"Begging isn't going to magically make it real, you know that right?" Skylar asked with a raised brow.

"Let's just forget about the treasure" Usopp said. "We've found Chopper, so let's just take him and get out of here."

"You can't do that!" Mobambi frantically cried. "Chopper is our king! He'll remain here and protect this island!" he childishly huffed.

"Quit it already, will ya?" Usopp frowned. "That cowardly reindeer hasn't got what it takes to protect this island by himself—ouch!" he winced as an apple suddenly struck the back of his head.

"Mind repeating that" Skylar glared, already tossing another apple in the air and catching it as the sharpshooter raised his hands in defense.

"Are you mocking our king?" Mobambi frowned.

"Yeah, Usopp, are you?" Skylar asked, causing a low-pitched whine to leave the back of the pirate's throat as he shrunk even further back and away from the brunette's intense stare.

"That kind of sucks" Luffy suddenly hummed, now eating a banana as he rubbed his inflated stomach. "You like Chopper too, eh Mombran?" he asked.

"I'm Mobambi!" the child snapped.

"Sorry, but he's an important nakama to us" Luffy said.

"Shut up, you pirate!" Mobambi sneered. "He's a much closer nakama to me! Now and forever, he'll stay with us on this island!" he shouted before flinching as an explosion suddenly sounded out in the distance.

"That direction is—"

"This is bad! That's Papa's cabin!" Mobambi cried as he, Chopper, the parrot, and Karasuke hastily rushed off in the direction of the explosion.

"Oi, what's going on?" Usopp frowned as he and Nami quickly ran after the four.

"What's that?" Luffy asked as he tried to follow…only to get stuck in the entryway due to his sudden weight gain from all his excessive eating. Ramming into him from behind, Sanji's body immediately bounced back and smashed into Zoro's which instantly sent the two flying back. Hastily sidestepping, Skylar watched as the two went flying past before wincing as they crashed into a nearby table.

"Hey! We can't get out!" Zoro snapped.

"Your fat ass is in the way, Luffy!" Skylar frowned.

"You ate too much, pig!" Sanji sneered.

"Weird…" Luffy muttered as he struggled to get himself free.

-Chopper and the Others-

"It must be them! They've come looking for the secret of the treasure!" Nami gasped in realization as she and Usopp followed after the boy and animals.

Down below on the beach where Mobambi's cabin resided, Butler hastily searched through what was left of the hut as his two henchmen worked to keep the animals of the island from interfering.

"Ah-ha!" the pink-haired man grinned the second he spotted what he was looking for.

"What the…?" Mobambi frowned as he peered down at the three men ransacking his home before flinching as the Trumpet Pig suddenly released its strange cry.

"They're the ones controlling the Horn Eaters?" Chopper questioned as he looked at the pig.

"Found it!" Butler joyfully proclaimed as he gleefully held Mobambi's late father's Log Book. "This is it! The answer to our search for the Crowing Treasure!" he laughed.

"Crowning Treasure? In Papa's Log Book?" Mobambi questioned.

"Does that treasure really exist?" Karasuke asked.

"What? You guys really haven't heard of it?" Nami owlishly blinked in disbelief.

"None of the details, I'm afraid" the parrot truthfully answered. "The elders who did know of it have all become victims of the Horn Eaters" he explained.

"The Crowning Treasure dwells within the gilded horns upon the head of the Animal King" Butler read.

"The Animal King's horns…" Mobambi quietly echoed.

"The horns possess the mysterious power to bring out an animal's greatest strength" Butler continued to read. "After the Animal King's life span has ended, a new Animal King will inherit the power and protect the island. It seems that is how this island continues to flourish as a paradise of animals."

"Oh, I see, that's what it is!" Usopp realized as he snapped his fingers, unintentionally catching Snake's attention as the lanky man looked up.

"You fiends! You've managed to steal secrets from us yet again!" he cried out the moment he spotted the long-nosed pirate.

"Your boss was saying it straight out again! Skylar's right, how can you call yourselves geniuses?" Nami raised an eyebrow.

"His personality prevents him from being able to keep a secret" Hotdog defended.

"You whelps—where's the Animal King? Where is he? Tell me!" Butler angrily demanded. "If you tell me, I'll take only his life and let the rest of you live! Refuse my offer and you shall all fall victim to my Horn Eaters!" he proclaimed as he put the Log Book away, replacing it with his violin which he immediately started to play.

"This is bad! The Horn Eaters are coming! They're going to kill everyone!" Usopp panicked as the animals of the island hurriedly huddled up against one another, fearfully listening as the Horn Eaters plowed their way through the jungle and toward them. "Oi, Chopper!" he shouted the second the reindeer slid down the slopped hill and towards Butler.

"Who the hell are you?" the pink-haired man frowned.

"I am…the Animal King! Tony Tony Chopper!" the reindeer proclaimed.

"You're the Animal King?!" Butler laughed as he stopped playing.

"This little runt can't be the Animal King" Hotdog scoffed.

"He's not lying! He'll take out the likes of you in the blink of an eye!" Karasuke squawked.

"Interesting" Butler hummed.

"If you're satisfied, stop your Horn Eaters and fight me!" Chopper huffed as he bravely puffed out his chest…only to blink as the pink-haired man started to laugh, his Horn Eaters obviously still stampeding their way through the jungle.

"I'll consider your challenge once you defeat my Horn Eaters" Butler maliciously grinned.

"What?" Chopper asked.

"If you live through it that is!" Butler laughed.

-Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Skylar-

"Oi, put some more power into it!" Sanji ordered as he, Zoro, and Skylar pushed against their overweight captain's back. "We'll never get out of here at this rate!" he grounded.

"Shut up! What about you?" Zoro snapped. "Push with a little more spirit!"

"How about you both shut up and keep pushing?!" Skylar snapped at the two, not in the mood to listen to them bicker as they struggled to push their captain free.

"Dammit! Who in their right mind would eat until they're this bloated?" Sanji frowned.

"Well, this is nothing!" Luffy told the three. "I can eat loads more!"

"You're still hungry?!" they snapped.

-Chopper and the Others-

"They're here! The Horn Eaters!" the parrot cried as the Horn Eaters burst through the tree lines, causing Butler to laugh.

"Okay, in a pinch like this, my special sure-kill weapon will come in handy!" Usopp grinned. "Usopp Boomerang! Surrender! Once I throw this, there's no turning back!" he loudly proclaimed as he pulled out a boomerang and threw it at the pink-haired man. Butler only laughed, bending his body backward and dodging the attack as the boomerang soared right over him and clattered to the ground.

"What's wrong with it?" Nami asked. "It didn't come back!"

"Like I said, there's no turning back!" Usopp nervously exclaimed.

"You meant that?!" Nami snapped as she hit the sharpshooter.

"Chopper!" Mobambi shouted the second he spotted the reindeer running towards the nearing Horn Eaters.

"He's charging them by himself!" Usopp gaped. "What's he planning to do?" he worriedly asked.

"Chopper!" Nami called out to the reindeer...but the moment he reached the Horn Eaters, he made a sudden turn.

"He's running away?" Usopp questioned.

"Don't let him escape" Butler instructed as he continued to play his violin. Quickly, the Horn Eaters turned and faced the reindeer as the pink-haired man jumped on top of one of them with Hotdog and Snake quick to do the same. Chopper came to a sudden halt as he removed the stupid prince getup he had been forced into earlier before he continued running.

"Chopper!" Luffy—now back to normal size—shouted as he rushed down the hill, Zoro, Sanji, and Skylar quick on his heel. "Eh? Where's Chopper?" he asked when he didn't see the reindeer anywhere.

"He ran away—hey, is Chopper really a coward?" Mobambi asked as he looked at the pirates. "Isn't he supposed to be strong?"

"What are you talking about?" Zoro raised an eyebrow.

"I wouldn't call him weak, but he can be a bit skittish like a certain someone else" Skylar smiled as she darted her gaze towards Usopp.

"In any case, let's go help him" Sanji said as he and the swordsman took off running after the reindeer.

"Will Chopper…get killed…?" Mobambi hesitantly asked, now looking to be on the verge of crying.

"If you're that worried about him, why don't you go too?" Luffy suggested.

"But…" Mobambi trailed off.

"You'd better not—even if you went, you'd honestly only be killed as well" the parrot told the boy.

"And it won't be just a scratch you'll get this time" Karasuke pointed out, causing Mobambi to bring a hand up to his chest. Lightly, he touched his fingertips to the faded scar on it, silently recalling the day he had acquired the wound that had led to the scar.

"So, you're not going?" Luffy questioned.

"If only I was stronger, then I'd help him!" Mobambi grounded. "But…I can't beat them! I'm just…" he sadly looked down.

"Hey! So what if you're not strong?" Usopp asked. "I'm not strong either, but I'm not the least bit scared!" he shakily exclaimed with faux bravado.

"You sure about that?" Skylar asked as she stared at the trembling pirate, tempted to poke his wobbly legs with her foot. "You look pretty scared to me."

"Your legs are trembling" Nami deadpanned.

"If you set yourself to it, you might be strong—right?" Luffy smiled down at the child which in turn brought a smile to Skylar's lips.

"That's stupid!" Mobambi frowned.

"Okay, I getcha, Shorty" Luffy nodded. "But, just being with someone doesn't make you nakama, y'know?" and with that, he and the rest of his crew took off running.

"My name's not "Shorty," my name's…" Mobambi trailed off as he looked after the group before sucking in a large breath of air. "My name is Mobambi!"

-Chopper-

'I can't let him hurt the others' Chopper told himself as he ran. At some point, he had changed into his deer form in an attempt to pick up speed and put further distance between him and the Horn Eaters. Quickly, he grew big the minute he spotted the hole up ahead—grabbing for one of the low-hanging vines and swinging across without once breaking his stride. As soon as he reached the other side, he returned to his normal size and continued to run. He soon screamed though when he finally chanced a peek back and saw that the Horn Eaters were now hot on his trail.

Forced to once again turn into his deer form, he began to frantically climb up the mountainside in an attempt to get away via the use of higher ground. Seeing this, Hotdog swung his mace around before throwing it upwards—successfully having it land at the top and secure itself into the ground. Quickly, he, Butler, and Snake followed after the reindeer.

-Luffy, Usopp, Nami, and Skylar-

"Whoa!" Skylar wobbled as she and the other three jumped from rock to rock in an attempt to make it to the other side of the massive gap below them. She wasn't the only one as the others also struggled to keep their balance to not meet a gory fate as they teetered from side to side on shaky legs. Anxiously moving from one unstable rock pillar to the next, they hopped along at a pace both quick and slow. Sadly, the minute Luffy jumped to one of the pillars, it immediately started to crumble which caused him to quickly continue onwards. Naturally, the same thing happened to Nami, Usopp, and Skylar as they closely followed their captain.

It didn't take them long to spot that the pillars beneath them were slowly starting to fall apart, causing them to pick up the pace as they fearfully watched each rock they stepped on break.

"They're crumbling! They're crumbling!" Luffy panicked.

-Chopper-

Chopper halted the minute he spotted the large mushroom-shaped rocks before him, shoulders drooping as he sadly started to think about Doctor Hiluluk. A startled gasp soon left his lips the though when he realized that Butler and his two henchmen had finally caught up to him. Turning around, the reindeer was instantly greeted by Hotdog's fist which knocked him backward. Upon hitting the ground, Chopper barely had time to react as the heavy was already charging towards him—his fist drawn back as he prepared to deliver another strike.

-Luffy, Usopp, Nami, and Skylar-

"T-that was close…" Skylar thickly swallowed, hand clutching her chest as she attempted to calm her fast-beating heart. Her eyes were wide as she peered back at the broken and ruined pillars they had hopped across. Thankful that they had safely made it across in time.

"Chopper!" Luffy gasped as he shot up from where he lay on the ground panting.

-Mobambi-

Mobambi rushed ahead of the other animals, thickly swallowing as he hesitantly entered the home of the Kirin Lion. Its body still rested in the same place it had died, none of the other animals nor him brave enough yet to move and properly bury it. Instantly, his gaze trained itself on the massive horns that adorned the animal's head. Nervously, he shifted around at the thoughts going through his head as he hesitantly approached the lion's corpse.

-Chopper-

Hotdog relentlessly continued his assault of punches on the reindeer even as Snake jumped into the air. Drawing his sword, the lanky man slashed it towards the reindeer who quickly rolled out of the way before he could be struck. Scrambling to his feet, Chopper quickly took off running once more, causing the raven-haired man to follow as he threw more slashes at the doctor. Soon, the sword in the man's grasp started to bend and move as if it were a whip and its blade was malleable. Screeching to a halt, the reindeer nervously looked over the cliff edge he had unintentionally run towards.

With wide eyes, he hesitantly looked back at Snake who now loomed over him with his raised sword. Just as the man was ready to swing down, the ground beneath the two suddenly started to crack before finally, it broke apart and sent them careening downward.

"What?" Butler frowned, confused by what had happened.

"I-Insolent cur!" Snake snapped the second he spotted Sanji—quickly putting two and two together and assuming it was the blonde's fault that the rock had broken. "Who the hell are you?" he sneered.

"The Prince" Sanji causally responded as he pointed the cigarette between his fingers towards the man.

"Sanji!" Chopper gasped, having been caught by Zoro who tightly held onto a stray tree branch that was growing out of the cliffside. "Zoro?" he questioned as he looked up at the swordsman.

"Geez, what a poser…" Zoro grumbled as he climbed back up the cliff—quickly avoiding the punch Hotdog sent his way the minute he reached the top. Throwing Chopper aside, the swordsman took an offensive stance in front of the heavy man. "Run for it, Chopper—this guy's mine" he said.

"Sounds like fun" Hotdog grinned as the reindeer scampered away from the two. "Now face the steel-breaking strongest kick in the world!" he immediately spun towards Zoro, who was quick to dodge the attack and let the mushroom rock behind him take the full force of the kick instead. Chopper fearfully cried as his body was suddenly knocked to the ground by Butler who quickly sat atop him before he could escape.

"You're not going anywhere!" he sneered as he wrapped his hands around the antlers that rested atop Chopper's head.

"Gum Gum Rocket!" Luffy shot himself towards the two, knocking the pink-haired man off the reindeer.

"Luffy!" Chopper brightened.

"Chopper!" Nami shouted.

"Thank goodness you're alright!" Skylar smiled as she, Nami, and Usopp ran towards their friend.

"You guys came for me?" Chopper questioned.

"Now that yours truly—Usopp-sama—is here, there's nothing to fear!" Usopp boldly proclaimed as Skylar dropped to her knees and tightly hugged the reindeer close. Glad to see that he was alright and that his horns were still attached to the top of his head.

"Really?" Chopper asked, quick to hug the brunette back as he peered up at the sharpshooter.

"Yosh, go Luffy! I'm here now!" Usopp cheered, causing Skylar to chuckle as she released the reindeer and stared up at the long-nosed pirate.

"Why don't you go?" Nami deadpanned as she struck the back of the sharpshooter's head.

"Yes, why don't you?" Skylar teasingly echoed. "You can hold him back while the rest of us make our escape" she suggested, ginning at the way the sniper paled.

"D-d-don't be ridiculous!" he fearfully stuttered. "My new move should be revealed in the final moments!"

"Is your new move running away and hiding like a coward?" Skylar innocently asked.

"No!" he snapped as the brunette snickered.

"What drivel are you spouting…insects?!" Butler snarled as he pushed himself back up, causing Usopp to take refuge behind Nami.

"Come on now…" Nami sighed in irritation as she looked back at her friend.

"Is that your new move? Using a defenseless woman as a shield?" Skylar grinned.

"All of you are about to fall into hell!" Butler proclaimed as he pulled out his violin and started to play.

"This is bad! The Horn Eaters are going to come!" Usopp cried.

"I think they're the least of our worries..." Skylar muttered, eye twitching as she looked at her captain.

"Luffy!" Nami gasped as the three quickly rushed over to the rubber man.

"This doesn't look good…" Usopp mumbled as they leaned close to the teen's ears, screaming at the top of their lungs the moment they saw him caught under the other man's spell. Luffy flinched, his body falling backward just as the Horn Eaters arrived. Skylar jumped as she hurriedly ushered Nami and Usopp out of the way, unintentionally leaving the rubbery teen behind as they quickly got out of dodge.

"Oh shit!" the three cried the minute their captain was flung into the air by one of the Horn Eaters and sent flying past them.

-Mobambi-

"Kirin Lion, I hope you can forgive me…" Mobambi sadly mumbled as he took a step closer to the still lion.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?" Karasuke frowned as he stood at the entrance of the lion's resting place.

"But…Chopper will get killed if I don't…" Mobambi trailed off as he continued in his attempts to pry the horns from the lion's head.

"If you do that, you'll be exiled from the island!" Karasuke squawked.

"But they're after Chopper because they think his antlers are the treasure they've been looking for!" Mobambi argued. "If I show them the real treasure—"

"Forget about that reindeer" the parrot interrupted from outside the entrance, causing Mobambi to emit a startled gasp. "Honestly, just what do you think the likes of us can accomplish? We must entrust everything to the new Animal King" he explained as the other animals gathered around the cave's entrance.

"You're just going to abandon Chopper?" Mobambi frowned. "But we begged Chopper so dearly and he even pretended to be the king! You're all safe now because of that, right?" he desperately asked.

"The secret power belongs to the Animal King, humans must never wield it" the parrot scolded.

"B-but…" Mobambi sadly let his head droop, not knowing what to say.

"Don't you guys worry, it's Mobambi we're talking about here, he'll understand" Karasuke assured the others. "Don't you guys fret about it."

"I'll leave this to you, Karasuke" and with that, the parrot left—taking with him the other animals and trusting that the crow would keep the human boy in line.

"Karasuke, are you going to abandon Chopper too?" Mobambi quietly asked.

"Idiot! Don't you care if you're exiled from the island?!" Karasuke snapped as he watched Mobambi slowly remove his hands from the Kirin Lion's horns.

-Sanji-

Sanji dodged Sanke's attacks before kicking out his foot and striking the taller man in the face. Right as he prepared to go in for another kick, the man this time dodged the attack and struck his back with his whip-like sword. Taken aback, Sanji stumbled forward before dropping to the ground—grunting in pain as his back now horribly stung. Snake smirked as he brought his sword down once again, this time intending to deliver the final blow. But before he could, he was taken aback as the blond suddenly stood and kicked him before quickly dodging the immediate attack he sent his way.

Sanji stared in slight awe as the blade of the sword returned to normal, the metal no longer bending and whipping around like that of a whip. His amazement though was short-lived as he quickly dodged the attacks that were suddenly sent his way the minute the sword returned to being a whip. Jumping up into the air, he dove towards Snake—intending to strike the man in the face and bring this tedious fight of theirs to an end. All too late though, he quickly discovered that the man before him was nothing more than a mere illusion as his foot passed right through his body.

"What?! That bastard!" he growled as he landed and looked around. As he searched for his enemy, he seemingly didn't notice the raven-haired man sneaking up behind him and raising his sword high before slashing downwards.

-Zoro-

Zoro grunted the moment he took a step into the water, his feet instantly sinking as the chain of Hotdog's mace wrapped itself around his body. Jumping forward, the heavy man smashed his knee straight into the moss-haired man's face before kicking the back of his head and then his face again.

"Now, this is a surprise, you're still standing after tasting the world's strongest kick" the heavy man noted. "But I wonder how long you can last?" he devilishly grinned as he started to mercilessly beat up the chained swordsman.

-Chopper, Usopp, Nami, and Skylar-

"Usopp!" Nami and Skylar waved toward the sharpshooter and reindeer who were now desperately trying to get away from the Horn Eaters.

"Nami! Skylar! Where the hell have you two been?" Usopp shouted upon spotting the two women.

"Come on!" Nami called back.

"Get over here, quick!" Skylar motioned, urging the two to hurry and join them where they safely stood.

"Alright, gotcha!" Usopp nodded. "Chopper! Oi, you alright?" he asked as he cast a glance down at the reindeer who ran beside him. "Crap!" he cried the minute he saw just how close the Horn Eaters now were to the two of them, seemingly closing the gap between them without him noticing. "Shit, sorry!" he quickly apologized as he kicked the reindeer over some rocks before pulling out his boomerang. "Usopp Boomerang!"

"Hey, wait—what do you plan on doing with that?" Nami asked.

"You're kidding, right? How is a boomerang going to be of any help?" Skylar raised an eyebrow.

"Just watch" Usopp told the two as he held the boomerang up to his forehead.

"Usopp! You're not going to…" Nami trailed off as realization hit her and Skylar.

"Hey, dummy! I don't think that's a good idea!" Skylar worriedly shouted, not liking the sharpshooter's spontaneous plan.

"Hey, Horn Eaters! Catch me if you can!" Usopp loudly mocked as he took off running.

"He's so reckless!" the two women snapped as they quickly followed after their long-nosed friend. Skylar kept a close eye on the sharpshooter as she rested a hand on her swords while Nami started to draw on some rocks, already coming up with a plan of her own.

"Fetch!" Usopp threw the boomerang over a pile of rocks that were blocking the cliff's edge. Smiling, he climbed atop the rocks and watched as the Horn Eaters tried their hardest to follow the boomerang, but found they couldn't get past the natural-made barricade.

"Usopp! That rock!" Nami pointed to higher ground and towards the rocks that lined the edge of the nearby upper cliff. "Listen, target an explosion on that twig 15cm below that rock! Hurry!" she instructed

"Oh, that one? Are you sure?" Usopp asked.

"I'm sure! Provided my calculations are accurate, even the slightest bit of gunpowder should do the trick!" Nami nodded.

"Oh! I see now!" Skylar brightened as she now understood what the ginger had planned. "That's a smart idea" she praised, causing the other woman to puff her chest out just a little in pride.

"Yosh!" Usopp aimed, doing exactly as Nami instructed.

"Hurry, Usopp!" Nami and Skylar yelped the minute the Horn Eaters suddenly turned their attention toward them, no longer interested in the boomerang the sharpshooter had tossed. Once he was certain his aim was true, Usopp shot off the pellet in his slingshot—striking his target and causing an explosion that helped to knock the rocks loose and send them tumbling down the cliff. Falling around and blocking the Horn Eaters, the rocks quickly created a makeshift fence that the sheep could not easily climb.

"Yosha!" the sharpshooter cheered. "The Horn Eaters are trapped! They won't be going anywhere! We did it, dammit!"

"Hey, where's Chopper?" Nami suddenly asked, finally taking notice of the reindeer's absence.

"Yeah, where is the little guy, Usopp? He was with you earlier, wasn't he?" Skylar placed her hands on her hips as she stared down the now nervously sweating sniper.

-Chopper-

"Found you!" Butler laughed as the reindeer backed away from him, crying in fear as he immediately turned tail and ran the minute the pink-haired man rushed him.

-Luffy-

"Chopper?! Dammit! Where is he?" Luffy frowned, eyes scanning the area he now found himself in before eventually, he spotted a familiar face that caused him to perk up. "It's him…oi, you guys! Oi!'" he waved in an attempt to capture Mobambi and Karasuke's attention as the two rushed down the mountain. Tightly clutched in the child's arms were the Kirin Lion's horns.

-Chopper-

Butler laughed as he chased after the doctor before pulling a tambourine out and throwing it at the runaway animal. A cruel grin tugged at his lips the minute the instrument struck the reindeer's legs, painfully knocking him to the ground.

"You're a slick one" he remarked as he neared the fallen doctor, picking up the tambourine and turning it into a knife. "Now, the Crowing Treasure is mine!" he proclaimed.

"Stop!" Mobambi cried. "The Crowning Treasure is right here!"

"You…" Chopper trailed off as he stared in disbelief at the child.

"These are the former king—the Kirin Lion's—horns!" Mobambi exclaimed as he held up a piece of the horns he was carrying. "The real Crowing Treasure" he emphasized, wanting the older man to understand that Chopper's horns really weren't the ones he was looking for.

"What? So those are the…shining gilded horns which carry the crown…?!" Butler gaped. "Are those really them?" he eagerly asked.

"If you want them, come and fight for 'em!" Mobambi shouted as he and Karasuke took off running once more.

"I won this fight already!" Butler laughed as he gave chase.

"Wait! Stop!" Chopper worriedly shouted as he tried to follow the three, only to fall backward in the process.

"Hey, you sure this is going to work?" Karasuke curiously asked.

"The Crowning Treasure is a treasure that protects this island! We'll manage somehow!" Mobambi told him.

"But if it doesn't work, you'll be…" Karasuke sadly trailed off, not liking the idea of the boy being exiled from the island.

"Wait there, you!" Butler shouted the two, watching as the child soon came to a stop and faced him. He grinned as he noted how the boy's body began to tremble with fear. "Why are you trembling? If you're that scared, why don't you just hand me those horns?" he mockingly asked.

"I'm not afraid of the likes of you!" Mobambi proclaimed.

"Then I won't hold back!" Butler sneered.

"You'll be the one to perish…" Mobambi bitterly mumbled before he took off running once more.

"What you're saying and what you're doing seems to be a bit different!" Butler called after the child as he gave chase once more. "The horns are mine!" he proclaimed as he watched Mobambi jump down into a valley. Hurriedly following, he was a bit too late in realizing that the bottom of the valley was filled with lava.

"Mobambi!" Karasuke squawked as he swooped down and caught the child. "You devil…" he grunted as he struggled to fly upwards.

"You shitty brat!" Butler growled, shooting rope up towards the two which then wrapped around the crow's feet.

"Dammit! You fool, we're falling!" Karasuke cawed as Butler started to pull him and the child back down toward him.

-Elsewhere-

"Mobambi! He…" the parrot gaped as he and the animals stood in front of their former king—gawking at the sight of his missing horns.

-Mobambi-

Mobambi screamed in fear the closer he got to the pink-haired man before flinching as a stretched-out arm suddenly wrapped itself around him and Karasuke. Hurriedly, the unnaturally stretched arm retracted and threw the two of them into the air, unintentionally dragging Butler along.

"Whew, that was close!" Luffy smiled as he stared down at the child and bird who had crash-landed in front of him. "Why the hell did you do that?" he frowned.

"B-but…I want to be of Chopper's nakama who he can depend on too…" Mobambi murmured. "Just being together doesn't make us nakama, right?" he sadly asked, peering up at the rubber man.

"I see" Luffy nodded.

"Mobambi! T-they're gone!" Karasuke suddenly squawked, wings flapping around in a panic as he looked around the group with wide eyes. "The Crowning Treasure Horns are gone!" he cawed, causing Luffy and Mobambi to panic as well they too started to frantically look around.

-Butler-

Butler crouched low to the ground, greedily shoving the golden horns into his mouth and down his gullet. A wide grin soon stretched across his lips the second he spotted Luffy, Mobambi, and Karasuke rushing towards him. Skidding to a halt, the three stared in awe as the man's body slowly and painfully started to change. His teeth extended and sharpened, his dull nails soon became claws, fur rapidly grew on every inch of his body, and lastly, two horns now protruded from his skull.

"The Crowning Treasure…" Mobambi breathed.

"It's finally mine! The supreme power!" Butler roared with laughter.

-Sanji-

"Dead, are we?" Snake grinned as he watched the beaten-up cook stumble forward and fall to the ground…though he soon blinked as he watched the man slowly pick himself back up.

"Heh, shithead…" the blond chuckled.

"Cur! With all those cuts, you still intend on fighting?" Snake sneered before a sudden thought flashed through his mind of the two women from before—the sly ginger and shy-looking brunette. "Oh? I get it—it's all for those girls, eh? You'd be worthless if you weren't strong enough, eh?" he mockingly grinned.

"You got it all wrong" Sanji responded as he sat up.

"What?" Snake blinked.

"As a man…as long as there is someone I must protect, I'll risk my life in a battle!" the cook proclaimed.

"Oh? For your nakama?" Snake hummed. "Don't make me laugh, how can someone as pathetic as you protect anyone?" he asked, his lips drawing back into a snarl as the blond spat his cigarette at his face and kicked him.

"Who's pathetic?" Sanji glared, jumping towards the lanky man and kicking him once again through some rocks. "I can't protect anybody?!" he sneered as he went in for another attack that Snake was able to dodge this time…only to be immediately hit the minute he turned to face the blond once more.

"U-unbelievable!" Snake weakly sputtered as he hit the ground. "I should've already done enough damage with my sword!" he grounded.

"Heh, what a load—compared to his, your sword's just a piece of shit" Sanji scoffed as he walked away from the now passed-out man.

-Zoro-

"You're utterly helpless!" Hotdog laughed as he delivered another kick to the swordsman. "You've done well to withstand the world's strongest kick, now to put you to rest!" he started to spin his body around as he flew towards the moss-haired man. Smashing his foot into his stomach, Zoro painfully coughed—his body splashing back into the water and sinking below its surface. "Hmph! Easy prey" the heavy man smugly grinned before being taken aback as he realized the swordsman was now behind him.

Quickly turning around, he watched as the moss-haired man broke the chains that were wrapped around him.

"You bastard! How did you…?" Hotdog gritted his teeth.

"A kick that can even break steel, eh? You were a bit careless with your ability, pal" Zoro remarked as he tied his bandana around his head. "Now, why don't you show me what you call the strongest in the world" he said, drawing one of his swords and pointing it towards the heavy man. Quickly, he blocked each attack that was immediately sent his way.

"I knew it was strange for you to still be standing after receiving all those lethal kicks" Hotdog smirked the minute he saw Zoro crouch down. "Your nakama should have all perished by now" he mocked.

"Heh, them? They're not dead" Zoro chuckled as he stripped himself of his shirt.

"What?" Hotdog blinked.

"They're strong" Zoro said as he stood back up and drew his other two swords, placing one of them in his mouth. "More than you could ever hope to be!" he glared.

"Watch your mouth!" Hotdog snarled.

"Being strong isn't just about having power or moves" Zoro said as the heavy man shot towards him. "It's about heart" and with that, he slashed his swords and knocked the other man back.

"Shit…I am…the strongest!" Hotdog screamed in frustration as he aimed at Zoro once more. "Die!" he sneered.

"Tornado!" Zoro spun around, the force of his slashes instantly knocking the heavy man up into the air.

"Why? My kicks are supposed to be the strongest!" Hotdog grounded as his body smashed back into the water, creating a huge splash.

"There's another man in this world whose kicks with more amazing power than you'd ever be able to…he's a pain in the ass though…" Zoro grumbled as he walked away. 'Wonder how Skylar's doing, hope she's alright' he smiled at the thought of the brunette, chuckling at how funny it was. After all these years, he had feared the thought they would never meet again until he had achieved his dream. He had especially not expected them to meet again on a pirate ship of all places.

-Luffy and Mobambi-

"Gum Gum Pistol!" Luffy shot his fist towards Butler, only for it to be caught and his body to be roughly pulled towards the beast.

"Straw Hat!" Mobambi cried.

"Asshole!" Luffy sneered as he shot upwards and once again swung his fist towards the furry beast who in return jumped into the air after him. Quickly, the pirate moved out of the way as Butler fell back down towards him. Standing up, the furry beast laughed as he struck the teen in the side. Light on his feet, he soon shot toward Luffy and prepared to strike him once again…only for the rubber man to jump out of the way at the last minute.

"Chopper!" Luffy shouted the minute he spotted the approaching reindeer while continuing to dodge the attacks that were sent his way.

"Look out!" Chopper cried the minute he saw Butler charging towards the rubber man. Skylar, Nami, and Usopp came to a skidded halt the minute they arrived on the scene, eyes widening as they watched their captain be struck by one of the beast's horns.

"Luffy!" Skylar gasped as the captain was thrown into the air and bounced over the cliffside. Luckily, he was able to catch onto the edge before he fell any further.

"Is that all?" Butler boredly asked. "Not even the least bit entertaining" he yawned.

"I-I'm not done yet!" Luffy panted through gritted teeth.

"You intend to continue like that?" Butler raised a brow.

"You're damn right! You took my precious treasure!" Luffy snarled.

"The great species of man can take what it wills from the animals!" Butler snapped. "Why are you fighting for these lowly beasts?" he asked, disgusted with the younger man.

"I…I know someone named Chopper, he's a precious nakama of mine!" Luffy shouted as the rock he was tightly holding onto started to crumble before finally, he was sent falling.

"Luffy!" Nami gasped.

"No!" Skylar worriedly shouted.

"This can't be happening!" Usopp quickly covered his eyes.

"Nakama?" Chopper breathed.

"I guess there's no cure for stupidity!" Butler laughed. Chopper stared at the beast before reaching up into his hat and pulling out a drawing of a skull and crossbones along with cheery blossom petals scattered across it.

"Doctor…" Chopper whimpered. "I…"

"You're next!" Butler suddenly proclaimed as he turned to face the other Straw Hats. Quickly, Skylar took a protective stance in front of Usopp and Nami who fearfully backed away from the beast.

"Just try!" she snarled as she prepared to draw her swords.

"Stop!" everyone turned their heads the moment they heard Chopper shout.

"Chopper?!" Mobambi gasped.

"What now? I have no more interest in you" Butler frowned.

"I…I won't forgive you!" Chopper glared.

"Won't forgive me, eh?" Butler laughed. "You're only good at running away, what can you do?" he mockingly asked.

"I wasn't running away, I just didn't want the Horn Eaters or the other animals to get hurt" Chopper explained as he grew big and ate a Rumble Ball. "Rumble."

"Why you…?!" Butler snarled as he swung his arm towards the reindeer.

"Jumping Point!" Chopper quickly jumped out of the way, dodging each of the attacks the beast sent towards him as his body puffed up into a fluffy ball and bounced back. "Not a scratch…" he muttered as he changed his body once more. "Arm Point: Spitting Hoof Sakura!" he struck Butler in the face.

"He did it!" Nami gaped.

"Way to go, Chopper!" Skylar cheered.

"Yeah! You're great, Chopper!" Usopp cheered alongside the brunette as the reindeer's eyes widened upon seeing that the beast was still standing tall even as blood leaked down from his forehead. Butler grinned as he grabbed hold of Chopper's arm and slammed the reindeer down into the ground, causing the doctor to return to normal.

"How dare…how dare you damage the head of a great genius!" Butler snarled.

"He may be a beast, but that ego of his still seems to be intact" Skylar scoffed. Chopper weakly watched as Karasuke flew overhead, dropping Mobambi down on top of Butler.

"Take this! And this! And this!" Mobambi cried as he hit the beast over to head multiple times.

"Vile whelp!" Butler growled in irritation as he threw the child off him, causing Mobambi to lose his locket in the process. Chopper was quick to take a protective stance in front of the young boy before quickly being knocked out of the way.

"Chopper! Chopper!" Mobambi cried as he rushed to his friend's side, shaking the reindeer. "Chopper, hang on! Chopper!"

"You…" Butler muttered as he stared down at the picture inside the boy's fallen locket. "I get it! I remember you now—you're his son! I wondered why a human child was on the island, but now it all makes sense..." he realized.

"You knew Papa?" Mobambi questioned.

"He was an old colleague of mine—your father made an unwise decision to protect the animals here and kept the secret of the Crowning Treasure from me" Butler frowned as he picked up his tambourine knife and held it up for the child to see. "So I was forced to attack his ship and kill him with this" he confessed.

"You're the one who killed Papa?! You filthy pirate!" Mobambi cried.

"Pirate? Who are you calling a pirate?" Butler sneered.

"What do you mean?!" Mobambi blinked.

"I wouldn't be caught dead as a lowlife pirate!" Butler scowled. "You got it all wrong, you hopeless idiot!" he snapped.

"So you're…not a pirate...?" Mobambi quietly asked as he spared a glance back towards Chopper.

"Now, rejoice! I'll let you rejoin your father, along with that stupid reindeer!" Butler cruelly grinned.

"I'll protect Chopper!" Mobambi suddenly proclaimed.

"What can you do?" Butler raised an eyebrow as the child brought a hand up to his chest, gently brushing his fingertips over his scar.

"Even I…if I set myself to it…I might be strong!" Mobambi proclaimed as tears started to prick the corner of his eyes…only to scream as Butler quickly snatched him up. It was a scream filled to the brim with fear that echoed throughout the whole island and was heard by all.

"What?" Nami asked as the island suddenly started to shake, causing Butler to drop the child.

"The animals!" Skylar pointed as they saw what appeared to be every animal on the island stampeding towards them.

"Mobambi, are you alright?" the parrot worriedly asked.

"W-what are they planning? You imbeciles, are you all here to die?!" Butler sneered as he looked around him before growing frustrated as he smashed his horns into the ground, breaking it. "You are truly pitiful, what can trash like you do to me?" he laughed, the dust that had been kicked up starting to settle as Luffy gently sat down one of the wounded animals. Turning to face the beast, he glared at him with utter rage. Lifting his head, Butler was suddenly struck in the face by the teen and knocked to the ground without warning.

"Why you…you persistent fool!" he sneered as he finally realized that the rubber man had returned.

"Gum Gum Gatling Gun!" Luffy punched Butler over and over, his fists now moving at such a fast pace that it gave the illusion that there were multiple fists instead of just two.

"Worthless! Worthless! You think you'll win that way?" Butler sneered—his body being pushed back by the force of the punches as he was slowly driven towards the valley that was filled with lava. "The Crowning Power is absolute!" he proclaimed as the horns on top of his head started to glow, causing Luffy to quickly grab hold of them. "Have you realized it? I am now king of this island!"

"You're no king!" Luffy snarled.

"What?" Butler frowned.

"They're willing to risk their lives for the sake of their nakama! That determination is what brought them here and you dare battle them!" Luffy sneered. "I'm going to kick your ass!" he growled as he picked Butler up by his horns and with all his strength, shattered them. Instantly, all the fur on the beast's body shed and fell away. "Gum Gum Bazooka!" the rubber man was quick to send the other man flying as smiles stretched across his crew's faces.

"Straw Hat, thank you" Mobambi smiled in gratitude. "Thanks to you, I feel that I've become a little stronger" he confessed.

"That so?" Luffy laughed as he gave the boy a wide smile.

"Even if I'm forced to leave the island, I'll be able to survive!" Mobambi determinedly exclaimed.

"Leave the island? What are you talking about?" Chopper asked, confused.

"Cause…I…I lost the island's precious treasure…" the child sadly explained.

"Well, I'm not too sure about that" Zoro said, causing Skylar's head to perk up as she turned…only to quickly look the other way and blush upon seeing that the moss-haired man now lacked a shirt. Nami giggled at the brunette's embarrassed face as she teasingly elbowed her side and wiggled her eyebrows, laughing when the teen instantly swatted her away as her blush only worsened.

"The whole island would have to attest to it" Sanji said.

"You guys just got here? Slowpokes" Luffy insulted, causing Skylar to snort.

"Shut up" was the only response Sanji gave his captain.

"Everyone…I'm sorry…" Mobambi bowed as he apologized to the animals. "It's all my fault the Crowning Treasure is gone, I'm really sorry" he apologized once more before being taken aback as a crown was suddenly placed upon his head. "What's this for?" he curiously asked.

"What are you talking about?" Usopp grinned. "They were astonished by all the courage you showed back there."

"Don't you see?" Skylar smiled.

"Everyone wants to protect this island with you" Nami told the boy.

"Then I can stay…here on the island?" Mobambi asked.

"Of course, you can!" Karasuke nodded. "Stop talking silly" he softly huffed.

"Thank goodness…" Mobambi sighed in relief. "Chopper, hey Chopper—why don't you join us here? How about it, we're nakama, aren't we?" he asked as he grabbed hold of the reindeer's shoulders. "This is a great island! I bet you'll love this place!"

"Mobambi…" Chopper sadly mumbled.

"Right? Chopper, we're nakama, right?" Mobambi asked once more. "Right?" he desperately pleaded.

"I'm…a pirate, you hate pirates, don't you?" the reindeer asked.

"No, that was…" Mobambi trailed off as he remembered what Luffy had said during his fight with Butler. "That's right! I hate 'em! Pirates, I detest them!" he suddenly proclaimed as he turned away. "Go where you please! Stupid!"

"Mobambi…" Chopper breathed as the water around the island suddenly started to shoot upwards into the sky.

"W-what?" Usopp sputtered.

"More eruptions!" Nami gasped.

"O-oi! Isn't this bad?" the sharpshooter nervously asked.

"Calm down!" Nami exclaimed as large gushes of wind blew throughout the island, forcing Skylar to keep pushing her hair out of her face as the locks whipped around widely. Once everything had calmed, the sound of a bell soon tolled.

"It's beautiful" Skylar and Nami breathed as they listened to the ringing of the bell.

"Well, well" Sanji grinned.

"When the island bears a crown, the Heavens shall bestow upon us a new Animal King" the parrot explained. "The Heavens have acknowledged Mobambi!"

"Incredible! Mobambi has been chosen as our true Animal King!" Karasuke joyfully squawked as the young boy started to cry.

"Mobambi, even if we go our separate ways, we can still be friends!" Chopper cried alongside the child.

-The Next Day-

"Man, I'm beat—last night sure tired me out" Usopp said as the crew started to sail away from the island.

"Even if it was a festival, it was nothing to have an all-night party for" Sanji remarked.

"Yeah, well I had fun" Skylar chuckled as she sat on top of one of the railings, kicking her legs back and forth. "Besides, I say getting a new king is worth a celebration that big" she argued.

"In the end, we couldn't get ahold of the Crowning Treasure ourselves" Nami sighed as she read the morning newspaper.

"Instead we got a hold of a different treasure, isn't that good enough?" Zoro asked, causing Skylar to hum in agreement.

"What? What other treasure?" Chopper curiously asked. "Did we get some other kind of treasure?" he inquired

"Chopper, he's talking about you" Skylar and Luffy smiled.

"Huh? Me?" Chopper questioned before tumbling backward as the ship suddenly started to pick up in speed.

"Oh! The wind's finally picking up" Luffy noted.

"A-are we going to be okay?" the reindeer nervously asked from the floor.

"Pirates can't be scared just because of this!" Usopp proclaimed. "From now on we'll be encountering Man Eating Goldfish, Human Faced Whales, Killer Crabs, and ferocious Squid Noodles!"

"What is up with that imagination of yours?" Skylar raised an eyebrow.

"Okay! I'll stick through it!" Chopper determinedly exclaimed, causing the whole crew to smile.

"Yosh! Full speed ahead!" Luffy grinned. "Let's go!"

"Aye!" the crew cheered.
