Chapter 91 We Scream for Ice Cream

Nobu was going through the city as snow was failing down.
"It's nice to see the snow come." He touches snow flake.
He goes to his car and drives forward down the road as he enjoys the view of how the city is covered in snow.
"Better get to the others."
He then saw Akitsu on a rooftop looking at the sky.
"Hey Akitsu." He waves.
She looks before jumping to the car looking at him through the window.
"Nobu." She smiles.
"Get out of the hood Akitsu, I can't see." He said.
She then goes inside through the other window, sitting on the seat next to him.
"Much better." He said.
"So what are we going to do today?" She asked.
Before he could answer they saw a red and white ice cream truck with a white mascot stop in front of them.
"A ice cream truck in this time?" Nobu questions.
It honks at him and makes a race track using ice spikes coming out from the ground.
"Oh it wants to challenge us, well let's go." Nobu got Krim ready.
The truck then saw a glow.
DRIVE: TYPE SPEED!
He saw Drive on the drivers seat and honks challenging him.
They went side by side getting ready, a single snowflake falls down slowly, the moment it hit the ground they speed up.
The two raced against each other as the ice cream truck was pretty fast for the type of vehicle it was.
It then goes in front and shoots snow by spinning it's wheels fast to cover them up.
TIKE KOUKAN! MAX FLARE!
The tridoron comes out with the snow melting as it was using the tires of Max flare.
Akitsu waves herself off since it was hot now.
"Sorry but I had to do it." He said.
The two vehicles made a sharp turn trying to outspeed each other.
Drive looks at the truck but saw it's windows are covered in ice so he couldn't see the driver.
"Who is this guy?"
The ice cream truck then rams him on the side before getting the lead again.
"Oh yeah!" Drive changes.
WILD!
Tridoron and Drive changed becoming Type Wild going through the snow much easier.
The truck then opens the backdoors revealing a cannon as it shoots ice cream at him.
"Seriously?!" Drive Said as the car got covered in ice cream.
"It's strange." Krim said.
Akitsu licks some off of her hand since it got there.
He then wipes it off and kept chasing the ice cream truck.
"Where's the finish line?" Drive said.
"The other shift Cars found and it's at the docks." Krim told him.
"Well better be ready then." Drive said.
FORMULA!
He changes into formula as the vehicle also changed back to fit the form. They raced much faster with the tridoron going in the lead.
The ice cream truck then opens the front of the grill shooting cones at him.
"Ice cream cones?!" Drive said.
The truck then shoots one attached to a chain to grab the back end of the tridoron.
"It's making sure it doesn't get far from us." Krim said.
Akitsu frowns. "It's annoying now."
Then the top of the truck opens as a giant ice cream comes out like a missile.
"Oh boy." Drive had a bad feeling.
"If that thing hits, we'll be in trouble." Krim scanned it and that's no normal ice cream.
The truck shoots it and it goes to the ground going through the streets like a torpedo spinning like a drill even.
"And with that chain we won't be able to shake him off." Drive said.
The chain was making them not able to turn well.
"We gotta figure something out fast!" Drive said.
Akitsu points her hand up and shoots ice to make a ice ramp.
"A ramp?" Drive said.
The tridoron jumps off it causing the truck to go up too. The missile just breaks through the ice.
The moment they came down the missile hits the truck instead making a explosion.
Drive got surprised along with Krim as Drive had his hand over his mouth.
"Well that works." Krim said.
They kept going forward, then the truck comes back down crashing against the ground.
It was now all dented and broken, it tries to move forward but it broke down into pieces.
The tridoron kept going and arrived at the docks winning the race.
"Man we were close." Drive said.
"Yes, it planned to blow up the tridoron with the chain being broken to let it pass through." Krim said.
"Quick thinking Akitsu." Drive said.
"Can I have a reward?" She asked.
"Uh, I know what you want but later." He said.
She pouted but nodded at him.
They saw the others waving at the base.
"Hey guys come on. Also did something happened?" Uzume noticed Drive was in his suit.
"You guys won't believe it." Drive said.
"Well come on and tell us." Kuruse said.
The trio went inside as the tridoron gets parked too. They went with them to celebrate the holidays as Nobu tell them what happened.
But he wonders where did that Ice Cream Truck come from.
But for now he's going to enjoy the time with his friends and family.
