"OH MY GOSH" Cat squealed at the next group hang out at Tori's house. "OH MY GOSH!"

"What, what?" Andre asked as the redhead seemingly bubbled over

"Alicia Keys commented on the cover I posted of her song!... AND SHE FOLLOWED ME!" Cat continued to squeal. She could barely contain herself, practically vibrating with excitement as she waved her phone around for everyone to see.

"Wait, what?" Tori's jaw dropped, grabbing Cat's phone and squinting at the screen. "No way! Alicia Keys actually commented on your post? That's huge!"

"She followed me too!" Cat squealed, bouncing up and down in her seat, a huge grin plastered across her face.

Andre looked just as awestruck, his eyes wide. "Okay, that's insane. Alicia Keys doesn't just follow anyone. You realise what this means, right?"

"What?" Cat asked, still buzzing, looking at him with wide, hopeful eyes.

"It means you're on her radar! She might even reach out for something one day. Collab, mentorship, who knows?" he said, breaking into a grin as he processed the implications.

"Imagine Cat and Alicia Keys doing a song together!" Robbie added, getting swept up in the energy. "Like, that could be legendary."

Beck raised his glass, smirking at Cat with that cool, easy smile of his. "Guess you're officially moving up in the music world, Cat. Today, Alicia Keys; tomorrow, the world."

Cat just sat there, face glowing as she took it all in. "I just can't believe it. She said my voice was 'beautiful' and that she loved my cover! That's… I don't even have words. Me? She thinks I'm… wow." She laughed, half in shock, half in disbelief.

Jade rolled her eyes playfully, but there was a smile on her face. "Alright, alright, let's not lose our minds. But seriously, that is pretty incredible, Cat."

Cat beamed at her, reaching out to grab Jade's hand, squeezing it tightly. "I just… it's like I'm dreaming! She's been such an inspiration for me!"

"Yeah, we know," Andre said with a laugh. "Pretty sure half your playlist is Alicia Keys."

Cat giggled, clutching her phone to her chest. "I have to screenshot this and frame it. I'm never gonna delete this comment, ever. This is the best day of my life!"

Tori nudged her with a grin. "First singing with Myles Mason and now this- you're going to personally know half of Hollywood at this rate."

"When does your song with Myles come out?" Beck asked"

"In-" She paused, counting. "Oh Gosh, 3 days."

Beck raised his eyebrows. "Three days? That's right around the corner! Are you ready for it?"

Cat shrugged, her usual bubbly energy dimming for just a second as the weight of it hit her. "I think so? It's just… I've never had a real single out there before. Like, this is it. My first real song with my name on it."

Tori reached over, giving her arm a reassuring squeeze. "And it's going to be amazing, Cat. That cover you posted blew up, and this is, like, ten times bigger. People are going to love it!"

"Yeah, but what if they don't?" Cat said, chewing her lip. "What if they're like, 'Who is this girl, and why is she on a song with Myles?'"

Andre chuckled, shaking his head. "Cat, they're not going to think that. They're going to hear your voice and be like, 'Wow, she's the real deal.' And hey, you've got Alicia Keys' approval now. That's no small feat."

"Exactly!" Robbie chimed in. "And if somehow people hate it, we'll all just go online and spam positive comments until it looks like the best song of the year."

Everyone laughed, and Cat felt some of her nerves ease. "Thanks, guys. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Jade, sitting quietly beside her, gave a small, knowing smile. "You don't have to worry, Cat. The song's great, and everyone who matters already knows you're talented."

Cat took a deep breath, looking around at her friends, each one giving her their own little bit of reassurance. "You guys are the best. I don't know if I'll be able to sleep until it's out, but… at least I know you all believe in me."

"Three days," Tori grinned, raising an imaginary countdown. "And then you'll be everywhere."

Cat's eyes widened as the thought settled in. Everywhere—her song, her voice, her image, out there for anyone to hear.
