(afternoon)in thaegen's territory path with thorns bushes on the sides
Lief,barda,cal and jasmine possessed two of the seven last gems of the belt of deltora they now move west twards the fabled city of the rats where a third gem is believed to be hidden. The adventures are see walking down the path fili wined "i know your hungry filli but the problem is we don't have anything left to eat" jasmine said "or to drink i like to go find water but i think we should stay on this path thes bushes will be good cover if we run into any grey guards" barda said. Lief had sighed in depression "ralidian sure was nice" lief said "this is just the beginning lief remeber there are still five more gems to find" barda said then lief jumped down on the edge"i know that we'll just have to be strong and keep on going isn't that right filli" and he hummed in agreement. "Of course we'll keep going but we're still in sorceress theagen's territory the evil witch maybe gone but exceptfor jin and jod all her children still live arouud here we should be careful" jasmine said while she and barda hoped down off the edge. Cal was the last to jump after that"and I will be ready for them" barda then said "there's something over there" barda said and everyone headed to that thing.
"Lets check it out" lief said while they were running when they stoped they saw it was a sigh literally it stood tall had an arrow top and a second plate "tomeverything for the traveler" lief read "it seems to point the way to some shop" barda said "so whats a shop?" Jasmine asked.
Lief said"thats right going up into the forest you've probably never seen one its a place where you buy and sell stuff what about you cal?" Cal answered "yes were do ya think me and my parents got our supplies" and lief and barda walked closer to get a good look at the sign. "I think we should go check it out maybe they have food there" lief said "ya lets hope so" barda added while this was happening jasmine and cal looked at the path where the sun was "we're being followed and there are alot of them"jasmine said and cal spoke "agreed". Barda and lief looked at them kree was cawing in the next scene we see creature legs moving fast. "Do you think its a squad of grey guards?" Barda asked and jasmine bent down putting her ear to the ground"I don't think so they're not marching in time together and they're moving way faster than grey guards" jasmine said then getting up"I always listen to my instincts and they're telling me troubles coming" cal said.
Lief lifted up his belt and said"the rubies pink" indicateing trouble "alright we better keep moveing there's knowhere for us to hide around here" barda said as they started run "come on kree" jasmine said and they got them selves a good distance.
(night time) where the sign is
What was following them was a pack of light brown wolfs with yellow eyes with red and black pupils. What made them strange was their tounges were hanging out of their mouths. The wolves stand their infront of the sign then strated to run after our adventurers.
Our adventurers are running hearing howling "there still following us" lief said "what exactly are they?" Barda asked filli was frightened "its got to be a pack of wolves"jasmine said lief said wolves while they all ran twoards a small island like land "well there's now way we can out run them so will have to face them" barda said. Cal turned the right dial to the right of his gold and silver belt saying"for the glory of great daylight is mine to command" and transformed into his gold armor suit "cal what are you going to do with that?" Barda asked "i've leveled up this armor too now you see me now you don't" cal saif as he bend the light around his armor making himself invisible.
The wolves ran toward the island jasmine grabed a tree branch tore it off "wolves are afraid of fire" she said while makeing a torch "is that a torch?" Lief asked "what do you think!?" Jasmine said to him. Jasmine tossed lief a torch "here's yours barda" jasmine said while tossing a torch to him "how are you gonna" lief said the his torched got lit by a spirit ball "ok thanks what are thise things?" Lief finished saying while another one appeared in front of them moving away from them.
Meanwhile cal still in his invisible golden armor 'those are the spirit orbs of jin and jod which means those wolves are their siblings' cal thought. The wolves sang "and the names of her children are hot,tot,jin,jod,fee,fly,zan,zod,pik,snik,lun,lod and of course the dreaded Ichabod" while they and the spirit orbs were surrounding the adventurers. All the wolves walked to them and sat on their back legs still singing the song one of the wolves eyes turned dull opening its mouth reveal a red looking monster creature"wait a sec those aren't wolves at all" barda said "their monster" lief finished.
The red monster clapped his hands together along with two brown and darkish green creature in their wolf disguises one of the spirits orb burned a rope which caused their trap to activate insaring our seen adventures in a net. Our adventures lost their blades in the process "my knife"jasmine said "it was a trap" lief said the monsters clapped "walked right into it" barda said. One of the spirit orbs who is jin said"they're the ones who did this to us" and jod spirit said"and then they destroyed mother "those things are the spirits of jin and jod that means the other monsters must be the rest of thaegen's children!"Lief said.
The monster siblings shed their disguises and went back to their original forms beginning to surround then two small monsters who are yellow skinned,purplish pink eyes, two holes over their mouths indicating them as noses,pointy ears,puffy shoulder on arms with five fingers,three toed feet,small tails the only difference is their stand up hair style the one with green hair is hot and blue hair is tot had picked up jasmines torches.
The big green navy bumpy one is zod he's big as two adults,has five fingers on his blackish grey hand, his entire body's bumpy, only has one yellow eye on his left side of the head, the other side, his razor teeth mouth is like that of a humpbacks mouth curls up on his head
All the siblings began singing"more heat,more heat tender juicy roast meat watch the fun till its done here it grones crack its bones more heat,more heat tender juicey roast meat" one of the siblings kicked there weapons away and barda said"oh great there go our swords" that was lod a brown bumpy body creature the size of a medium dog who walks like a quadroped, big nose with a line in the middle, five fingered hands,back legs look like they have hooves and red pupils in black eyes.
The sibling continued chanting the song and dancing putting logs together to make a fire the green ones were fie and fly another put more logs was snik she has brown fur, yellow eyes is a brown baboon like creature with four goat like horns next beside her was pik like snik he had goat like characteristic and s long tail the few differences is pik had green eyes, two goat horns and his faces snout was pointy. Suddenly zan showed up next to them he's slightly bigger than zod, dark purple skin, looks like a shark with six strong legs,has a shark fins on his tail and back and his eyes are yellow he started stomping indicating hes dancing next to lod was lun like lod only difference is he has a round nose and her eyes are green pupils in black eyes
and when they stopped jod lite the log pile they collected and said "this time we're gonna have ourselves a barbecue" jin said "you're not gonna get away from us again" lief said "at this rate we really are going to be cooked".
Jasmine started to cough filli jumped and started munching on the net jasmine said his name "oh ya great idea that just might work keep going filli your doing a great job" lief said "quite their liable to here you" barda whispered shout. Jin realized saying"wait there are only three in the net one of them is missing" jod added"we got to tell the others of that traitor cal". Suddenly the siblings started to fight each other had but out the fire pile with one of their bodies "im the dreaded ichabod you'll have to give me two legs and at least on hand" he said his form is that he's as big as a tree,red skinned with a big flat top head,green eyes, big yellow teeth with a long, purple tongue that always sticks out of his mouth, five fingered hands,oval shaped feet.
"You've got to be kidding you know me and fly wont" fee said"were not going to put up with you greedy ness" fly said these two are fee and fly they are both green,slightly bigger than an adult,five fingered, stubby tails, have feet shaped original but no toes,big heads the only difference between them is fee is circular big head with red eyes it has a mustache on his face while fee just has yellow eyes and a bumpy head. "You better give hot","and tot as much as we deserve to" hot and tot said together ichabod growled.
"What now?" Lief asked "their fighting over witch parts their eat those filthy beasts" barda said "its better for us if they keep arguing the more they fight the more fili has to do his work" jasmine said. Suddenly eleven blade vials fell down aimed at the the siblings the blade vials drained a small portion of their pink blood to fill in the blade handle to their displeasure. Then the blade vials were pulled out and floated to a spot and cal dropped his invisibility and said "baggy ala the blade vials with blood samples"and soon rainbow tentacles popped out of his shoulder pieces and grabbed the blade vials pulling them back into baggy. Cal powered down his golden armor disappeared and said"baggy,hatter things are getting messy" and both his magical fabrics with animal traits glowed silver and gold and went into the belt he's wearing.
"I have waited a long time for this half siblings but lets make this even" cal said then he trasformed into his creature form the siblings and him tussled "your ours traitor" zod said. Lief wanted to help and he knew what to do "hey are you really that stupid!" Lief said "hey what are you doing?!" Jasmine said. This got the living children's and cals attention turning tword the net"can't you see there's only three of us and eleven of you it will be impossible for you to cut us up inti equal parts,but there is a way if they're only nine of you all you had to do is divide each of us in the three parts" lief said.
"We should only be nine that it would be fair" tot said "thats right we sould only be nine" hot said then lun shouted with zan kicking him away with one of his legs and roared. "Look at that they're starting to take each other out" barda said "perfect its working" lief said "boy they're dumber than I thought" jasmine said then ichabod picked up snik "only nine of us are going to eat!" Ichabod said and chucked snik away crashing into tree "now were only nine" fee said "that means we each get a third" fly said. Cal was wondering what's going on then figured it out and stepped back and watched lief said"that's true but what if there were only three of you, you wouldnt have to split us at all you'd each get a whole one" then the siblings looked at each other ready for round two.
This had caused the spirits of jin and jod to speak"stop don't you see what their doing" jin and jod said "good this will by filli a little more time" Barda whispered to the others. Hot and tot said stay back multiple times and fee and fly head butted them and since hot and tot were the size of fee and fly's head thats really got to hurt "filli come over her" jasmine said filli did just that. Then kree flew onto the net and started to pull woth his beak"good keep pulling kree" lief said zod was on top of pik wailing on her with his fists then zod landed right on top of them is the result of ichabods throw.
"Now we don't have to share"fee said "now we eaxh get one whle human" fly said an ichabod said "now lets eat". "But look at us bardas bigger and jasmines smaller then me" lief said "filli keep at it" jasmine whispered "so it'd be really unfair whoever gets jasmine you probably won't even get a belly full" lief said "but i want to eat and eat till I'm stuffed " ichabod said "me too" fee said "me three" fly said. Lief said "I couldn't agree more what's the point if you're not gonna get full the only way that's gonna happen is if there's only one of you" while he said that filli and kree pulled the net apart.
"Im ichabod i'm gonna eat until I'm full" he said then swiped his right arm causing fee to jump away and he charged at ichabod and lief got out of the net"nows our chance hurry" lief said while hanging on a branch jasmine and barda came out then they jasmine and lief let go on the branch and cal was under them and catch them and gently put them on the ground. Lief said "alright we did it" then jasmine whistled and filli came down of barda"wow you were great filli thank you" she said and filli hummed while three of theagan children's fought. Cal then catches barda and put him down gently to "ok lets go get our swords they should be near the stream"barda said and they all ran to the stream.
Then ichabod back slammed fee and fly who were on his back into the ground this caught Jasmine's attention "I ichabod will have all three to myself" ichabod said "what are you laughing about you fool!?" Jin said "they got away!?" Jod said "while you dummies were fighting" jin said. Next we see our adventures walking into the stream getting their swords "i got my sword"barda said while walking and grabbing it "I can't find mine scratch that found it" lief said while finding his sword "what about my knife? oh got it"Jasmine said finding her weapon.
Lief looked up and said"huh it's nearly morning" and cal it is creature form said "no time to look at the scenery ichabod,jin and jod are coming" and jin said"they're in the stream they're escaping" and jod replied"we'll go ahead of you" then ichabod said"no wait for me" and then transformed into his wolf disguise and follow Jin and Jods spirits. Our adventures are running in the stream "quick their right behind us" jasmine said "i'll tell you this much. I'm not about to be caught by those fools again" lief said "lief,jasmine,cal think we got a problem" barda said while looking back and running. They all looked ahead to see a waterfall edge in front of another spacious cliff edge" a water fall that's just great" jasmine said.
"We gotta climb down those cliffs" jasmine said and cal replied" no time for that Jasmine look behind us" and she did while running. "Oh man their close" jasmine said while running and saw ichabod,jin and jod"well i say we jump" lief said barda replied what "come on I bet it's not as far as the other side as it looks besides would you rather become his breakfast!?" Lief said. "Point taken guess we don't have a lot of options" barda said and cal added "you got that right barda" and jasmine said"ok hers goes nothing" and they all jumped over the edge to the other side the landing was a bit rough.
Lief looked up and saw pretty floweres "look we must be out of thaegen's territory" jasmine said "then do you think her children can follow us over here?" Lief said and they all looked on the other side. We see jin and jods spirits just floating and ichabod growling in disappointment they lost the catch "dosent look like it" barda said and ichabod howled in defeat "so we're safe" lief said"i'm glad that's over" jasmine replied. Cal creature said"me to" and then transform back into his human self he said to his belt"baggy hatter you can come out now" and the belt load it's colors towards popped out through a size and touched cal's head and back turning into baggy and hatter.
Barda looked to the left "hey look over there" he said and they all saw a house with a big weather vane sign that said Tom in capitol letters "what is it?" Lief asked "that must be Tom's shop" barda answerd. Jasmine asked" that's a good thing right?" Lief answere uh-huh and barda asked "cal what happened to baggy and hatter" he replied "well I guess I should explain that as to all of you"
(Explanation montage)
You see when ever I transform into my armor suits one of my companions stays in the belt and the other merges with the armor suit. For my golden armor suit baggey merges with it and hatter goes inside my belt and for hatter he stay in the silver armor whil baggy is in the belt. What's inside the belt you ask i'm glad you did you see since baggy and hatter have animal features, I created two natural environments for them to live. For baggey she gets the sea environment because she needs to refresh and relax in water. Hatter gets a tree environment so he can spin webs while jumping and swing around followed by napping.
(Day time) toms shop area
Kree is on top of the weather vane sigh cawing on Tom's shop we get a look at the store place it has a red roof,green wood frames,whitesh and brownish stone bricks and in the front is a door next to a big window and on top big word saying tom.Our adventurers walk to it stop to observe "it looks strange" jasmine said "well there's no doubt whose place this is that's one thing for sure " barda said "lets check it out" lief said and they walked to it. They looked through the window "there's a lot of stuff I don't even know what some of these stuff are, but they look cool how come there's no prices?" Lief said he looked down reading the sign"free gift for every customer". Cal speaking"looks like we each get a prize" lief said "sounds good lets go look inside".
We now see our heroes opening the door and the bell on it rings they all walk into it looking around they see all sorts of stuff. In the background there are shelfs full of stuff, next a green counter and on a table a bunch of stuff like a lamp,boxes, sauce pan, teo bottles and I cup full of strange silverware. "That's weird there's nobody here" lief said then walked to a sign on the support beam reading it"to all travelers choose what hug you wish to purchase carefully no exchanges no refunds no regrets", "pretty strict" jasmine said"maybe this storekeeper isn't coming". Barda then said "well he's definitely very trusting I mean, we could've come in here and taking whatever we liked, and walked out by now" barda then walked over to the table and he was about to grab the lamp "I wouldn't do that if I were you barda" cal said and when his hand grabbed the top handle"why's that?".
Then barda tried to pull his hand trying to let go of the lamp but he couldn't "oh my hand is stuck" he said and lief said what. "Come on stop playing games" jasmine said "im not it's really stuck" barda said "I warned you barda if something's too good to be true it usually is, what you activated was the store security" cal replied. "So you want a lantern friend" a voice said while the back door opened they all turned and saw a white skin man with grey hair wearing a yellow hat, white long sleeve shirt with a purple broach in the center with a red vest and had glasses infront of his purple eyes.
"I want you to tell me what's going on here"! Barda demanded "proof that tom is not such a trusting person after all" the man said this was tom he reached under the counter abd pressed a button. Then bardas hand was free from the lantern "now what can Tom show you, and more to the point what can Tom sell you,by all means ask tom if you have any questions at all?, as the sign says there's a free gift for every customer" Tom said. Lief thought and said"we need a good length of strong rope" then tom walked around the corner then somehow got had a rope in his hand"this is Tom's best rope light and super strong and for you young man tom will only sell it for three silver coins" tom said.
Both lief and barda gasped"three silver coins that's robbery" barda said "not robbery my friend but business, for where else will you find a rope as specialist as this" tom said then he tossed one end of the rope up to ceiling frame pole and it tied up good and tight and tom tugged it and showed how strong it is. The rope is very strong enough to hold tom while he crossed his legs showing his green pants and brown shoes then he got back doen and reeled the rope and it rolled it self up tom put it on the counter.
Jasmine and filli were impressed so was cal and lief "huh just trickery!" Barda said "you've got yourself a deal" lief said reaching into his pocket barda shouted hey. Lief gave tom three silver coins "you're paying with those?" Jasmine asked "ya this is money three right" lief said "tom knew you were someone who understood the true value of a bargain when presented with it,tom has other items in his shop that you'll be very pleased with" tom said. Next tom is holding what looks like a brown seed in his left hand "for example no bake bread,just add a little water no cooking required" tom said this impressed lief then tom held a marble with pink spike inside " fire beads throw a bead and you can build a fire where the bead breaks, even if its raining" tom said.
Even barda was impressed"now then what other goods might tom be able to interest you in?" Tom said "show us everything you have everything " lief said. Lief said "oh look at this whats it do" meanwhile jasmine,filli and cal stood afar"what's with you guys why do you wanna buy all the stuff anyway?" Jasmine asked. "The rope and a packet of no baked bread my good man" lief said "we'll also take a jar of that pure and clear, that makes any water safe to drink" barda said.
We now see all the itmes they are about to pay with on the counter"there's still so many more things that i bet were gonna wish we had bought" lief said "I think that's about all we can afford" barda said. Then the door open and they all looked to see a man hes about bardas height has tan skin with dark green hair, there's a blood, red shirt, black pants, brown color with boots ,gloves, belt and where's a light grey cloak and has blue eyes and a scar on his left face. He walks to jasmine and said"you're in my way" jasmine and filli grunted moving out of the way with cal.
He walked to the counter asked tom"how much for this rope?" He said "for you tom can sell it at a special price one dilver coin" tom said. "But you told us it was three silver coins!?" Lief shouted barda the placed his hand over liefs chest and the man drew the resistance symbol on toms counter with his finger. "Look at that he drew the secret sign" lief whispered "yes your right, I think this man must be a member of the resistance movement" barda whispered back.
The man then flipped a silver coin to tom and earsed tge symbol he just drew"tell me shopkeeper have you heard any rumors of changes in the territory across the stream,some even say theagen is no more" man said "tom knows nothing of these things but it seems to tom that the thorns by the road are as wild as they ever been" tom said. "The thorns have nothing to do with it,theagen has not been the only ruler their the result of a hundread years of poverty and neglect by a ruler whos supposedly care for his people, the del kings thorns i call them as do many others" man said.
"Have a good day sir" man said "thank you for stopping by" tom said and the man walked to the front door but stopped by liefs glare. They just stared then tge man head to the front door and walked out "tell me who was that man?" Barda asked "no names our mentioned in toms shop well none except for that of tom of course, as far as toms concerned everyone else doesn't have a name its better for all involved that way"tom said.
Then the door swung open it was jasmine who opened it lief said her name "filli and i will wait outside we see enough of this shop we think it's kind of boring" jasmine said and she closed the door behind her. Then tom reached up a shelf and grabbed a bottle of fire beads and a pipe with wings on top and placed them on the counter"let Tom throw these in free of charge" tom said. "Whats the catch?" Lief asked "lets just say that nothing pleases Tom more than to be of assistance, especially travelers who shop at Toms" tom said.
"Especially travelers on the right side, im i wrong" barda said and gave tom the payment. "Its been a pleasure to serve you gentleman" tom said "what about our free gift" lief said "Lief don't be rude hes already given us enough!" Barda said. Tom said" ah of course the gift" while that happened he reached under the counter and brought out a curvy flask. "Really what is it?" Lief asked "these are water eaters" tom answered "what are you supposed to do with water eaters?" Lief asked.
Cal said "before we go outside to tell Jasmine we're done shopping, I'd like to do some shopping" while walking to the counter. Tom said"well young lad what can tom give you for the right price" cal answered "well I've got a list of few things I need". "Ala list of things i need" and baggy gave him a list with her rain bow tentacle "i want seeds both herbs and spices plus vegtables, farming tools such as rake a hoe a watering can, two containers of pure and clear powder,golem cores and extra bags and hats ill take whatever worn and or old ya got" he said.
"A splendid decision tom will get you what you need" tom said he went back brought six worn and old bags and hats, farming tools cal requested, two pure and clear containers,four golem cores and bags of seeds. "That will be a grand total of twelve silver coins and two gold coins young lad" tom said "twelve silver coins and two gold coins cal you can't actually consider buying those things at that price!?"
"Lief stop complaining,baggey kazam big coin pouch" cal said and baggy gave him a big coin pouch he reached in and grabbed twelve silver coins and two gold coins"there you are tom the exact amount of payment" he said while handing the coins to tom. "Splendid tom appreciates the deal" tom said then cal took the golem cores,farm tools and seed bags put them in Hatter and he gobbled them up and put the bags and hats next to his belt suddenly they glowed silver and gold and went inside the belt. Then he said "baggey ala coin pouch the pure and clear containers and the list"and she grabbed them.
Tom tgen said"hold on young lad Tom would like to give you two special magical items" tom reached down pulled out two items one was a small scepter with a crystal orb top the other was a strange artifact. They had eight different color orbs circling on it. "What are these?" Cal asked "this first item is a hither thither scepter just point and say hither then point to another spot and say thither" tom explained and went through the hole on the ground casted by the scepter and came threw the hole on the ceiling.
"Consider it a free gift since you are a customer at Tom's shop" tom said then he grabbed the other item "and this next item is free of charge this is called a fob this is called a fob think of it as a universal wand that not only cast any spells but can also boost them". "Why give me two items for free?" Cal asked "well Tom can tell since you are a very special individual and like, Tom told the other one, nothing pleases Tom more than helping a traveler" tom said "why thank you Tom, baggy ala hither thither scepter" cal said and baggy grabbed the items with a rainbow tentacles put it inside her whill cal put the fob around his neck since it can be worn like that.
(Day time) outside of toms shop
We see jasmine and fili watching the man ride of onto the road on horse back then lief,barda and cal came out from toms shop. "Hey jasmine tom gave us more great stuff for free now let's get going to the city of rats" lief said then barda looked where the man rode off. "well just look at him go you know we should think about getting some horses" barda said "toms got horse"tom said and everyone looked to there right and saw tom"hey uh tom what are you doing there?" Barda said. Tom said"well they're not really horses, but they're a fast ride at a great price" barda said "were you listening on our conversation you better tell us the truth"barda said. "Tom only listens to conversations they could potentially lead to another business transaction,just like it says on the sign tom's shop has everything for the traveler" tom said.
Toms shop back side
We see three creatures with two bow back legs, and only one from merged leg, long neck like a horse along with bidy size and long droopy ears each had a different color patterns from grey,brown,black and yellow. Two of them had brown eyes meaning they might be male, and the one with sickly brown eyes is female. "What are they?" Lief asked "they're called mudlets" tom said "the three of them sure look happy eating that grass" jasmine said then going over to them"but are they fast?" Barda asked. "My dear friend these mudlets run as fast as the wind blows and they're far stronger than ant horse" tom said while jasmine petted one of them " plus their goid listeners to just yell abra when you want to go and kadabra when you want them to stop" tom finished one of the mudlets rubbed its head next to jasmine he said stop it.
Lief said"one thing is for sure we travel a lot faster riding them" barda said "true but I've never ridden a mudlet" tom said"tom gives first riders a discount how does eighteen gold coins sound" tom said. Lief said"Are you kidding?" Barda added "I don't nearly have that much" jasmine said "wait a minute these are gold coins right" while she walked to them and gave tom a hand full of gold coins.
"Yes thank you very much" tom said "hey kree filli play nice with our new friends" jasmine said while kree landed on her arm. During this cal looked at toms sigh and noticed it was the same as the other side and he looked at tom and he just looked back at him. Next, you see everyone in front of Tom's and tom saddling up the mudlets eith riding gear "one last piece of advise about a half an hour from here you'll come to a place where the road divides, take the left path however tempting the right may look, now have a safe journey" tom said then bowed
On the road (day time)
Our group of adventures are riding the creatures but since they're only three cal had to ride on the back of jasmines mudlet she was riding. "I hate to say it but tom was right we'll get there really fast on these guys" jasmine said "if you two had all that money this whole time you could've paid for everything" lief said. "Were did you two get that many gold and silver coins anyway?" Barda asked "I told you before while living in the forest I get all kinds of stuff from the gray guards a lot of times it be these gold coins" jasmine said "same with me along with silver coins" cal added.
"You didnt get them the two of you stole them didn't you" lief said "well they stole them from other people in the first place besides the gray guarda certainly didn't need them anymore". "Besides lief the grey guards were about to become food offerings" cal said and jasmine said "abra" and her mudlet speed up "hey wait up Abra" lief said his beast did the same "abra" barda said.
The adventurers reached the crossroad there was a sign that said Miller's Rise on arriw pointed left the other arrow said broad river to the right.
