Seawolf and Pennsylvania had arrived and were awaiting Enterprise 65 to show up and hopefully not get in trouble or be put as POWs. luckily they didn't need to eat due to their nuclear hearts but they could if they wanted to. A lot of the other ship girl marveled at the 2 submarines, they were huge compared to most subs they say along with their weird hull design. They both outweighed any destroyer there and could out run them underwater too. Seawolf weighed more than most destroyers and most early light cruisers at over 9 thousand tons, but Pennsylvania outweighed most heavy cruisers at over 10,000 tons submerged. While they were there they were sending information on the girls and what class of ships they were so they could research them and see what they were armed with in case things got a bit hairy. So far they have seen 2 yorktown class fleet carriers, times 1 illustrious class aircraft carrier and 1 unicorn class support carrier. At Least 5 cleveland class light cruisers, along with others, a small handful of battleship at least 2 US standard class battleship, nevada and pennsylvania class plus royal navy battleships, one king george the 5th class BB, along with a hood class battlecruiser, and 2 queen elizabeth class super dreadnoughts a mix of county and town class heavy and light cruisers, multiple destroyers. At Least one J class royal navy destroyer, one Allen M Sumner class destroyer plus a lot more. But most look like Fletcher class DDs.
A commotion developed at the beach and multiple ships approached. First it was the small OHP class frigates; they noticed only 1 gun amid ships and a weared arm on the bow. That and tall masts with larger than thought possible radar dishes for ships there size and some weird white things on the stern. Followed by the support ships other than size there are no real noticeable details about them. Followed by 4 much larger ships, they were the size of most cruisers but to the eye only had one gun on the bow and some very small gun on the sides, maybe AA Guns and more of the weird tall white things and tubes on the stern, that and strange shield like things on the bridge and each broadside, then came 2 more ships they looked almost identical to the first 4 but there bridges were taller and they were boxy and they didn't have uniform smoke stakes they were uneven to each other and sit to either side. Same weird features as on the others. Then came a carrier, she didn't look impressive, at least 3 guns maybe 5in types, and 2 weird boxes just ahead of the island was she the enterprise they were talking about.
Then through the fog a huge ship emerged from the fog it towered over all of the other ships even the fleet carriers it sounded its fog horn as it moved through the mist, from what they could see it had no gun emplacements but the weird domes and boxes. It wasn't one continuous flight deck either; it looked like it broke off to one side, and had weird ramps going off the front of the flight deck. Along with a lot of aircraft that didn't have propellers only one did and it was twin engined with a weird circle on its back. It pulled into a port that would be used for docking multiple cruisers. Once all docked they were taken to the main office area. The 2 smallest ships went first.
"We are oliver hazard perry class frigates" "I am USS Ford" "and i'm USS Samuel B roberts or you can call me sammy B". We were designed to replace a lot of the ww2 vintage destroyers for fleet protection and convey escorts. "That and we were called low capability ships meaning we were generally jack of all trades and would work with high capacity Spruance class DDs and we are the upgraded versions called long hull version". Some of the destroyers looked at eachother and didn't like the word replaced as due to their long war with the sirens they never faced the problem of being replaced. The four sisters went next. " We are Arleigh Burke class guided missile destroyers, we are the second ship class to be built with the Aegis system. We make up the vast majority of the US navy battlegroup. We do everything from fleet defense to strike groups, we are the backbone and the vanguard of the modern navy". Are names are USS Kidd, USS John paul jones, USS Roosevelt and the USS Sampson. The next ones to go appeared to be the 2 of the biggest ships that weren't a carrier. "We are ticonderoga class guided missile cruisers, we are also called the fleet defense ships, we carry the most missiles out of anyships and are the original class of ships equipped with aegis. We do a lot of the same jobs as the burks but we carry more missiles". "But due to cost overruns with our class we were halted at 22 ships and only 11 of us remain mostly due to our age". "We are the USS Port royal and USS Bunker hill. One of the oldest there and the smaller carrier speaks up. "I am USS Tarawa. I am a tarawa class landing ship and despite my looks I'm not a carrier, I mostly fly short take off aircraft and helicopters. I was to support the landing craft for beach assault". That and i was sunk as part of a naval exercise in the early 2000s".
The last ship and the tallest and the only male speaks up. "I am the USS Enterprise CVN 65 the world's first nuclear powered aircraft carrier. I served for over 50 years from the early 60s to the year 2012. And during the year of 2017 i was taken to Newport news shipyards the place i was built to be scrapped and recycled" a girl with white hair and an admiral hate steps forward. "Thats bullshit there is only one enterprise and that is me". "Wrong you were the only one, in my world you are CV6 the only surviving yorktown class carrier, with both yorktown being lost at the battle of midway and hornet in the south pacific both in 1942". This seemed to infuriate enterprise, especially at the mention of yorktown. At this my entire battlegroup went for full fleet defence arming there missiles and move into a defensive formation around 65.
