I awoke to the sound of knocking on my door. I frowned, I was alone in my apartment, so who was knocking on my bedroom door? I looked around as I noticed that this wasn't my bedroom or my apartment. These weren't even my clothes and my body was the wrong size.
"Alice, get yer arse out of bed!" the person, who was on the other side of the door, said, "You better get out here before your Mum wakes up and gets upset that the table ain't set." I sighed, my name wasn't Alice, but I didn't want to cause any problems. I got changed and went into the other room, that didn't look familiar. The man who knocked on my door was only wearing shorts and a chain necklace. He was balding and had a hairy chest. "What's wrong with ya, Alice?"
"I don't know what's wrong," I said. I went over to get the settings for the table and set the seven settings for the seven chairs.
"You won't give yer Dad a kiss?" the man said. I sighed and gave him a kiss on the cheek, but he didn't seem satisfied. I accidentally used fire magic to burn the house down, or as the muggles say it was a bomb and I was the sole survivor. I was sent to an orphange.
"Who's the new child?" one of the other children asked.
"Who cares?" another one asked, "She doesn't talk to us, so why should we talk to her?"
"She's just the kind of girl he would like," a third one said.
"Who?" I asked before I could stop myself.
"Oh, so you can speak?" the second one asked.
"I didn't want to," I said, "But I was curious. Who would like me?"
"It was a joke," the third one said, "He doesn't like anyone. He thinks he's better than anyone else. He is..."
"I'm what?" a young yet dashing boy asked from behind them. The three scrambled to leave the room.
"So, I'm guessing that you're the strongest boy here?" I asked, "But you look so weak?"
