Chapter 2: In a strange world part 2
(The Next Day)
It was morning, Reiya would be cooking breakfast for the dark elves since they untied him.
Olga and Chloe were looking at this black box known as a Television.
"What is this?" Chloe asked staring oddly at the Television seeing images on it. As Olga wondered the same thing was it a black magical box that shows images and such?
"Chloe-sama that's a television! I you can watch tv shows and such on there with a touch of the remote control that's currently sitting on the table." Reiya says from the kitchen as he was cooking eggs and bacon along with some toast for the two dark elves.
Olga would inspect this remote control seeing the various buttons and settings on this device or whatever these humans call it.
As she hit one of the buttons, changing the channel which viewed the News and forecast weather as they see humans talking on the television.
They weren't sure if the television was talking to them or what.
They are still somewhat getting used to the modern world they are in. Knowing it would take alot of time for them to understand and get the hang of things in this new strange world they are in. In a completely different world and are the only two dark elves in a world full of humans.
"Its strange... so unreal..." Olga says glancing at the Tv. With chloe besides her also staring at the Tv.
"It is Olga-sama... seeing these humans inside a "television" as Reiya just said.." Chloe says
"Breakfast is ready! Come eat!" Reiya called out as both dark elves entered the kitchen and got into their seats as they were both served a plate of eggs, bacon and buttered Toast with jam on it. Besides their plates would be glasses filled with Orange juice.
Both Dark elves inhaled the smell of Bacon and eggs as they began to eat.
Their eyes widened in amazement at the glorious taste of food.
"I love this toasted bread with this purple sweet stuff on it! What is it?!" Chloe says eating her toast.
"Its called Jam chloe-sama, or jelly, you can put it on toast, bread, biscuits. It also goes well with peanut butter!" Reiya chimes happy to tell her what it is.
"This Bacon and eggs aren't all that bad.. your cooking is sufficient Reiya..." Olga compliments him eating her breakfast. She's never had such good food like this in her life.
"I am happy to serve such beautiful women in my house Olga-sama. I'll happily serve both of your needs!" Reiya says with a blush and smile with his eyes closed happy that the dark elves enjoy his cooking.
(Later)
The dark elves would have to wear Reiya's clothes since they have nothing else to wear.
"Note to self... take them shopping.. to find them clothes. But it's probably best to wait until they come around and fully grasp the world that they are in.." Thought Reiya looking at Olga wearing a white warm heavy white sweater in which she seems to enjoy. Chloe was wearing a house robe.
"Reiya." Olga calls out in her stoic voice making him turn to her.
"Yes Olga-sama?" He asked with a small smile
"How soon can we go outside and explore the rest of the this "modern world" you call it.." she asked him.
"Well Olga-sama.. it's currently winter right now and probably too cold for the two of you to go out yet. Once i get you and Chloe-sama some clothes with my pay from my job I'll probably take the two of you out, since neither of you can't stay cooped up in the house forever if you two have to understand and learn things in the human world." Reiya answered his Queen.
"Hmmm.. i see, we will hold you to that Reiya." Olga says walking past him with chloe following her.
He had already given them a tour of the house that they are staying in. Its not much but its home according to Reiya.
Although Olga would have preferred they live in a large castle.. but this will have to do. And she wonders was it possible to even afford a castle or an estate here for a better living environment for her, Chloe and their devoted faithful human servant reiya who is still showing them and teaching them how to adapt to this modern world.
Later on, Reiya would be peeling some oranges for Olga and Chloe.
"Olga-sama, Chloe-sama i was wondering if you two would like to meet the author.. you know your creator?" Reiya offered facing the two dark elves.
"Should we meet this creator Olga-sama? Maybe we should kill him or her who gave us such a horrible fate! Me especially!" Chloe barked with Reiya backing away slightly
Olga frowned... thinking about their creator who made her and Chloe, along with the others in her world. She does hold a grudge on her author for condemning both her and her faithful servant a fate worse than death. To be sex slaves for that disgusting human volt and all her monsters who joined him.
But... if she kills him... or her what would happen to them?
"Hmm...? Even if our creator has the power to modify and rewrite our scenarios, i cannot deny the possibility of us disappearing even though we are conscious at this moment. I cannot seem to find the willingness to disappear for a version of myself that is not the current me... even though i loathe what the Author has done to us..." Olga would say with narrowes eyes eating her orange that's been peeled.
"If anything, if i were not to return to my former world then the history of myself would be rewritten. Though if i do not have dark elves as my people to serve me I would lose my title as a Queen." Olga continued
"Alright Olga-sama and Chloe-sama, Servant number 1 will proceed to go to his part time job. I'll leave the house to you." Reiya says putting on his coat and scarf as he turned to the two.
"Also its okay to pretend that your not here. If any salesman come by. Goodbye I'll be back! I've left some left over cream stew if the two of you get hungry, remember how to use the microwave like I've taught you two." He says now heading out the door.
"Very well. Then proceed then Reiya.." Olga says as both her and chloe now have the house to themselves.
"What is his part time job again?" Chloe asked eating one of the peeled oranges.
"According to him, he told me he's some college student... and a part time bookstore worker.." Olga answered now heading for the living room with Chloe following her.
Chloe had this nagging feeling as she spoke to Olga.
"Olga-sama... why is this human... so willing to help us? Let alone shelter us? He's so nice to us... he's even worshipping us!" Chloe would express her concern. It wasn't that she didnt hate reiya.. she didn't understand. Given her past and treatment she has long resented humans who treated her as a sex slave yet this human shows the complete opposite.
"He is a "Fan" of us Chloe.. for some reason I don't feel any hatred towards Reiya.. for me. He fits as the perfect servant for us. To help us adapt to this new world that we are in. Learn new things.. we both still have much to learn. And we could definitely use his help. Also, he makes such delicious food, and its so glorious! If only he existed in our world i would have made him my personal chef for our palace." Olga says sitting on the couch holding a book.
"Well i guess learning from him won't be so bad... but im worried about the outside world... that's full of humans... and these mysterious things... that we still aren't used too." Chloe says sitting besides Olga with a cup of orange juice.
"In time. Chloe. In time we will get used to this new world known as the modern world and understand it. We can't go to our author and make him change our fates without the risk of us being rewritten and disappear. Even if we found a way to return to our old world we would still become what we were fated to be. And i refuse to become something so lowly, and I know you don't want to go through with that do you?" Olga pointed out with Chloe shaking her head.
"Then let us explore and learn what we can in this new world full of humans." Olga would say turning the page to the book she's reading.
While Chloe reaches for the Tv remote and points it at the Tv.
"How do i turn this damn thing on?!" Chloe says
"You gotta hit the power button on the remote at least thats what Reiya says when he showed us early on how to work this so called television.." Olga says as Chloe found the power button on the remote and pressed on it turning the Tv on.
She would lay back on the couch next to Olga, fiddling with the Tv remote changing some tv channels.. to find something good to watch.. strange.. that they dont have any of these in their world.
Olga and Chloe could hardly wait to go outside the modern human world.
