The A.I. is currently floating in its pod. It was running thorough diagnostics. It was the day after its last glitch it was determined to find the source of the problem.
Sky: Running diagnostic #18304. Diagnostic: no problem detected. Result: peak performance. Incorrect. Running diagnostic #18,305. Diagnostic: no problem detected. Result: peak performance. Incorrect. Running diagnostic #18,306. Diagnostic: no problem detected. Result: peak performance. Incorrect. Running diagnostic #18,307.
Diagnostic: no problem detected. Result: peak performance. Incorrect.
Thousands of diagnostics later and Sky stopped.
Sky: Diagnostic #1,047,482 show the same incorrect results. Curious. Experimentation with priority number —...Experimentation with Miko is needed. Contacting now.
The A.I. started the call and activated its human disguise. He waited patiently until she eventually answered.
Miko: Sy! Buddy! What's up?
Sky: Experimentation is needed to find the source of glitches in my system. Every glitch that has corrupted my system has activated when you are involved. You made an offer to battle me in a match and I am accepting.
Miko:...What?
Sky: Experimentation is needed to find the source of glitches in my system. Every glitch that has corrupted my system has activated when you are involved. You made an offer to battle me in a match and I am accepting.
Miko: Aaaaaaaaand that means...?
Sky: You. Me. Match. Now.
Miko: Oh! Okay, where? I have nothing to do today since it's my day off and my fam is busy. Five is also helping his fam cook.
At the mention of "Five," Sky's head twitched again. He took notice of this and stored it in his database before answering.
Sky: Training arena in exactly ten seconds.
Miko: Sy, I can't do that. I have to walk there since I can't drive.
Sky: Problem detected. Solution detected. Where is your current location?
Miko: In my bedroom, playing a video game?
Sky: Are there any individuals?
Miko: No? Why?
The A.I. hung up and opened a portal in front of him. Stepping through it, he turned toward the sudden squeal and dodged a guitar being swung at his head. He turned to see her in a onesie resembling her pet bird. It looked rather adorable, if he was being honest.

Miko: Sky?!
She dropped the guitar and smiled, calming down upon realizing it was him. Then she realized what he had done.
Miko: Okay, cool trick, but you can't just portal into my room anytime you want.
Sky: Why?
Miko: Because it's my bedroom! What if I was...gaming in a different way?!
Sky: Elaboration is needed.
The young girl blushed heavily before quickly pushing him out of the room and into the hall.
Miko: Nothing! Never mind! Just, uh, let me get ready!
Meanwhile, while Miko and her A.I. friend were preparing to head toward the Glitch Tech training room, a certain Glitch
Tech known as "Nameless" was standing in his boss's office.
Joan: What is it, Nameless? I'm busy.
Nameless: We found a glitch, boss.
Joan: So what? Why didn't you handle the glitch yourself? You're Glitch Techs, you handle glitches.
She began to take a sip of her coffee, until what he said next made her choke.
Nameless: This glitch took on two hundred and ninety three glitches by itself and won flawlessly. It's far beyond epic tier.
Joan had a coughing fit for nearly a whole minute and she roughly set her coffee down, spilling a bit of it on her desk. It was of no concern to her now, knowing what her employee's had discovered.
After the coughing subsided and she could speak properly again, the manager jumped to her feet and looked at him sternly.
Joan: How?! None of our alarms went off! How could no one had seen this thing?!
Nameless: That's the thing, boss. It looks human, and...
Trailing off, his mask reflected a serious but also worried expression. This only made her more worried, considering her the leader of her top team looked scared.
Joan: And...what?
Nameless: It was a Glitch Tech, from Bailley.
Joan slowly took in the fact. If this glitch was as powerful as he said, they would need help. She knew Phil would never work with a glitch and so therefore it had to be undercover.
However, for her nemesis to agree and help her, she would need proof.
Joan: Do you have evidence?
Nameless: Yes ma'am.
He typed something on his gauntlet and a holographic video showed up. It clearly showed Sky defeating an army of glitches by himself with inhuman strength, agility and precision. There was not a single flaw in his movement and aim. It was—put simply—impossible.
After the video ended, they rewatched it several times. They took in every detail of the situation, his abilities that were visible, and how he reacted. Not a single frame was left out of detail.
An hour passed and they finally decided to stop watching it. Joan sat in her and stared at the ground while gently grabbing her chin. Nameless stood still with his hands behind him awaiting her order.
It took at least several minutes for her to formulate a plan. Part of one, at least.
Joan: We need help. This glitch is undercover and wants something. Otherwise it wouldn't be sneaking around. This is an intelligent one if it has remained hidden for so long right under our noses. I'll contact Phil from Bailley, Nameless. Inform your team to stay near the border and keep watch. If anything even looks remotely like this...this
thing, take it down.
Nameless: Understood, boss.
Joan: Good, go.
With that, he marched out of the room while Joan started the call. It took almost no time for Phil to answer, though he sounded less than thrilled to hear from her.
Phil: Joan, greaaaaaaaat to hear from you. What do you want? I told you, I don't have the glitch you've been claiming I stole.
Joan: Can it, Phil. This is more important than some nonthreatening glitch. This is important.
The ginger manager was silent for a few moments. If she was willing to push aside their tense past then it was serious, bad serious.
Phil: What's wrong, Joan?
Joan: Look, I know you, and believe it or not I know you're a good person, if albeit annoying. So listen to me when I tell you this.
Phil: Alright, I'm listening.
Joan: There is a glitch in your operation.
Phil: That's impossible. None of our security systems detected a breach. Plus, a glitch acts on coding. What game could have possibly glitched to make a glitch ignore its programming and act as an undercover Glitch Tech in the base of people who hunt and capture them? It makes no sense, Joan.
Joan: Which is why I have evidence. One of my teams detected a glitch breach from your base and went to help. It was nearly three hundred that were found in the area so that's why they immediately came to help. Do you know what they found?
Phil: What?
Joan: One Glitch Tech facing all of them...and he won.
Phil: It must have been Mitch and Sky, then.
Joan: I don't know either of those two, but from manager to manager, trust me. This was no human. I'm sending the video to you now.
With that, she pressed a few buttons and sent out the video. Two minutes later and his gasp could be heard over the call.
Phil: That's...that's not possible.
Joan: You see? Inhuman movements, agility, strength, precision, and combat abilities. Whoever this is, they're a glitch.
Phil: Sky's a glitch?
He spoke in disbelieve. It was so hard to wrap his head around. Sky was a glitch? Sky? Sky?
Phil: Sky is a glitch...That...
Joan:...Is not good? Yeah, so we have to work together to it out.
Phil: Joan, that glitch is Sky. Sky! Do you understand what they means?
Joan: No.
Phil: It means he's been in our base of operation for a year! He's allied himself with every Glitch Tech here! They all trust him with their lives! Most of them, if not all, are in love with him! He's stronger, faster, and smarter than everyone here combined, including me! He even beat Mitch every single time in combat training! He has the highest score in every game here! He can hack a glitch faster than anyone here! He...!
Joan: He needs to be taken out! He's a glitch and needs to be captured!
Phil: I...
Phil was having a very hard time digesting the information. Sky was a glitch, that was obvious now. His skills were inhuman in every possible way. But, how exactly could he take out someone like him? Especially when Sky could easily beat even him, his boss. The only possible way would be to have everyone gang up on him, but to do that they would have to all believe he was a glitch.
Phil: Alright, I'm gonna wait until Sky goes home and I'll call everyone else to meet up at the base. I'll show them the video and prove he is a glitch.
Joan: I'll have most of my employees meet there as well. What time?
Phil: Sky leaves at exactly 8:30PM every day. Have everyone portal here at nine, just to be safe.
Joan: Got it, see you then. Good luck, numbskull.
Phil: You too, wicked witch.
They hung up and immediately got to work. It was three in the afternoon so they had time to prepare. After all, they were going to need every second of preparation if he was as powerful as the video displayed.
Meanwhile, Sky & Miko stood together in the training room at Glitch Tech. It was set to combat training so all their weapons wouldn't hurt the other. To be precise, so weapons wouldn't hurt Miko, since they were ineffective against Sky no matter what.
They stood ten feet apart and were facing each other. Miko was very excited to go against her crush. Her competitive side had kicked in and she wanted to beat him, so she may or may not have watched the security footage of him fighting so she would beat him. However, she couldn't find a pattern to his attacks. It was perfect against every attacker though, no matter who it was.
She thought beating him would impress him. Impressing him would definitely put more of his attention on her and away from her, Zahra. The thought of the Muslim kissing her Sky made the young girl's blood boil. So, she had to beat him. To go all out.
BITT: Okay, Glitch Techs! You will begin your match when you hear "go!" See you ready?!
Miko: Oh yeah!
She let out a playful roar and Sky simply nodded. He had tinkered with BITT's programming a little so it was incapable of detecting A.I. behaviour from him, along with the security cameras.
BITT: Three!
Miko summoned a blue two-handed hammer.
BITT: Two!
Sky stood still with his hands at his side.
BITT: One!
Miko leaned back, ready to lunge forward. Sky remained still, slightly unsettling his opponent. His expression as blank as an empty canvas, yet as serious as an enraged mother.
BITT: Go!
Miko immediately lunged forward and attempted to smash Sky, who simply stayed still. The hammer shattered upon contact with him, making her lose her balance but she recovered by rolling away. In a swift motion, she summoned a shield and bashed his face. Only to have the same result. Then she summoned her longsword and slashed at his chest, to which it shattered as well.
Miko: AAAAAAH!
She yelled in frustration.
Miko: Come on, dude! You can't be invincible! That's the worst kind of fight, battling a hacker!
Sky: Footwork: adequate. Combat: adequate. Response time: adequate.
He wasn't even trying. He hadn't even moved yet and called her "adequate." She was failing to impress him. If she failed, he would think of her as just a normal Glitch Tech and move on. That thought motivated her to take Five's advice: study your opponent.
She took a deep breath before focusing solely on him, taking every hit of information she could.
Miko: Okay, I have to focus here. Focus, Miko, focus! He studies his opponent and fights defensively. Glitch Tech weapons have no affect on him. He's vulnerable when he glitches. How do I make him glitch?
She then remembered him telling her he glitches when she and Five are together, specifically when they get along.
Miko: Ah ha!
Miko: That's your weakness! Jealousy! Or, well, I think it's jealousy.
With that, she typed a message to Five and sent it.
Miko: Hopefully he gets it in time. In the meantime...
She glared at her crush, who reciprocated it with a blank expression, and charged at him again. This time, instead of using a weapon, she clenched her fist and swung. Just as she thought, he stepped out of the way.
Miko: Ha ha! He can be hurt with physical damage! Another weakness!
Miko followed up with another punch, to which he sidestepped, sliding his feet across the floor like some kind of dance move. She found it a bit insulting, actually.
Sky: Adaptability: good. Strikes have considerable speed. Miko: Considerate this!
Miko went into "try hard" mode and smirked. She threw light jabs at him until even he was having a hard time outmanoeuvring her. Eventually he had to parry her and palm strike her when she was off balance. She was sent off her feet and into the wall, but her body reacted before her mind did and she twisted herself mid-air, landing feet first on the wall before kicking off.
The Glitch Tech flew straight toward him, much to his surprise. She reeled back and landed a solid right hook straight to his face, knocking him back as she landed on the ground and rolled to safety.
Miko: HAHA! YES!
She yelled in joy as Sky spoke.
Sky: Action not predicted. Now calculated into probabilities. Expanding possible future actions. Counters now prepared. Calculation of Miko's victory: 0%.
Miko just smirked and readied herself.
Miko: I like those odds!
She ran toward him again but he blocked every one of her strikes. It was like he could predict the future. So she decided to be spontaneous, to only rely on her instincts.
Miko feinted a jab and swept out his legs. As he was falling, she slammed her fist into his chest, amplifying the fall by three times. Sky responded by punching her square in the chest, sending her crashing into the ceiling with a loud boom. It hurt a lot, but she wouldn't show it. Weakness to him meant she was just like everyone else, a simple human, and she couldn't allow that.
Therefore she used her current situation to launch off the ceiling and slam her foot down on him, catching him off guard again and landing a solid blow. The force knocked him on his back and she used the opportunity to her advantage.
She practically jumped onto him, straddled his waist, and pinned his arms above his head before smiling brightly.
Miko: I did it! Haha! I beat you!
Sky: Attack not predicted. Movements calculated. Countermeasures created.
Her smile instantly fell as she got angry. He still was not even trying. It was as if he was just treating her like she was beneath him, like she wasn't worth the effort.
Miko: Sy, try your best! For the love of video games! You have to go all out if you want to test my limits, right? Then stop holding back!
Sky: Warning. You are ordering me to activate "assault" mode. Your probability of survival is 0%.
Miko: You won't officially know that until you try.
She gave him a smirk before getting a sneaky idea. Miko leaned down and lightly kissed his neck, trying to give him a hickey but forgetting his skin was basically disguised plixels. The action though made his entire system go into overdrive.
Sky: Systems surpassing limits. Curious. How could such a small gesture of affection boost my system's performance levels?
His confusion almost sent Miko into a fit of laughter. She was covering her mouth to hide a bright smile.
Miko: That's called "joy," Sy. It's something humans feel what they are happy.
That was when she suddenly had a great day. She snapped her fingers and pointed at him.
Miko: Oh! You like experimenting with me, right Sy?
Sky: Correct.
Miko: Then how about we work on a different kind of program for you? One that is built specifically for a gaming legend like me, eh? You can experiment it on me.
Sky: Details and elaboration are needed for calculating the odds of—
The teenager quickly placed a finger on his lips. Though she did like talking to him, he would either confuse her, drag out the explanation of something, or just literally repeat himself. It was rather frustrating to be honest. At least Five got to the point most of the time.
Miko: Enough, please. You're gonna give me a worse headache than when one of my games glitches and causes me to lose on an online game.
Sky remained silent when her finger was moved.
Miko: Thank you. Now, what I mean about the deal is if I beat you, you have to create a Special program just for me, AND I have to help you make it. Like with character customization and stuff like that. I'll tell you the details of the program after, deal?
Sky: Probability if me losing: 0%. There is no benefit to conducting this experiment.
Miko: Alright then, smarty pants. If you win, I'll tell you what is causing you to glitch. Before you ask, yeah, I know what it is. I noticed it earlier.
Sky: Probability off loss remains 0%. Your odds of success are 0%.
Miko: Good, that makes this more fun!
Unbeknownst to Sky, Miko's idea for the program consisted of inappropriate thoughts. She was definitely going to make use of it, that the young teen was certain of.
Miko smiled before backflipping off him and across the room, allowing him to stand again.
Miko: No holding back, Sy!
In an instant, his eyes turned entirely brightly red. His body straightened his emotionless expression turned to one of slight anger.
Sky: "Assault" mode activated. Target: Miko Kubota. Objective: fight until target yields.
Miko: Come on, gamer!
In a blink of an eye, Sky summoned twenty portals surrounding her in a Circle. Miko immediately increased her movement speeds upon seeing Sky ready a dark purple energy blast. She expected him to shoot it through the portal, but instead the portals closed in on her before she could even react.
Miko was flying through what felt like hundreds of portals before she finally felt her feet on the ground again. It felt like having your sensitivity up all the way and spinning as fast as you can.
The room was not spinning but her vision was seeing twelve different Sky's, all with an energy blast at the ready. By the time she realized there actually were twelve of him, it was too late. Sky and his clones fired all twelve shots, hitting her at the same time. It was powerful enough to shatter her Glitch Tech armor and gauntlet while sending her slamming against the wall.
A boom echoed and the force shook the whole building. It knocked all the air out of her and definitely left heavy bruises. Though fortunately nothing was broken, but that was only due to her gauntlet's sacrifice. She would have screamed in agony but couldn't due to having no air in her lungs.
Miko: Note to self: set him on easy mode next time.
Miko attempted to stand but found it impossible upon feeling a foot force her back down. Sky towered over her with his terrifying solid bright red eyes and expressionless face, but at least there was only one of him now. The teen would be lying if she said she didn't have a newfound fear of his "assault" mode.
Sky: Unprecedented. Target remains in control of motor functions. Impressive.
For a split second, she could swear on her life she saw a smile on his face. Not to mention he admitted to being impressed. It made taking a blast from him worth it, at least until he aimed another blast at her face.
Miko's entire mind was shot with panic. She tried kicking him off but failed to even move him an inch. Reaching for his hand failed as well, it was just out of her reach. The weight of his foot kept her pinned to the floor. There was no escape for her.
Miko: This is it. I'm done for. There's no way I can survive another blast. I have to give up, but...
The teenager tightly gripped his foot. She couldn't give up, not after impressing him. She had to keep going.
Miko: I don't want to! I want to win this! I have to win this! I have to win his attention! All of it! I can't give up! I REFUSE to!
Miko grabbed her destroyed gauntlet and held it in front of him. Once he grabbed it to toss it aside, she latched onto his hand with both of hers. He was forced to step off her to regain balance and she remained latched onto him. Seeing she would not let go, he charged up another blast, this time much more powerful.
Miko: BABY SEAL GLORB PAWN!
The door to the training room suddenly opened. There, standing in a fancy tuxedo with a bouquet of flowers, was Hector—better known as Five. He casually walked in with slicked back hair and looked at her with a smirk.
Five: You ready for our date, Miko?
As soon as he processed the word "date," literally every piece of technology within the building short circuited. Dark purple sparks flew out of everything surrounding them, even causing some devices to explode. Miko looked on in amazement at the pretty-but-very-deadly light show while Five shrieked.
After her amazement, the teen let go of Sky's hand and aimed it at his head. Now all that was needed was to fire it.
Miko: Five is hot!
Just as she predicted, Sky fired without properly aiming due to his malfunctioning. The blast literally blew his whole human disguise into plixels, leaving only his original form behind; an orb.
The action instantly made everything revert back to normal. It also filled her with ecstasy having beat him. She picked up his orb and jumped repeatedly while fisting the air.
Miko: Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Haha! Take that, noob! I win! I win the bet!
Five: Uhmm...what happened?
Miko froze in place.
Miko: Oh nerds, how do I play this off?!
She turned to face him and gave the biggest, most convincing smile she could make.
Miko: Five! Hi! Buddy! I, uh, umm, needed help beating this new training simulator! Yeah! It had a new form of glitches! The kind that...uh...copy another Glitch Tech!
Unknown to Five, she was sweating profusely. She was never one to be good at lying, but he wasn't exactly the type to know when someone was lying either. So, he completely believed her.
Five: Okay, but why did you want me to show up like this and tell me to ask you on a date? What happened to the lights and electronics? You said no questions asked but I'm curiosity levels are maxed right now.
Miko: Oh, uh, this new training simulator is so powerful is affects nearby stuff! And I thought since it can only handle one person, making I could use another person to win! Thanks, buddy! You saved my caboose!
She ran up and wrapped an arm around his shoulders.
Miko: Thank you so much, partner!
A quick slap on the back and she practically flew out of the room running so fast, leaving behind a very confused boy.
Five: But what was that orb she grabbed?
Hours later, Phil called an emergency meeting for everyone, excluding Sky. Everyone except Miko, that is. She had received an alert but what too busy keeping Sky hidden in her room until he could repair himself.
Phil & Joan were standing on the upper level with the Glitch Techs from both towns on the lower level. They were all chatting.
Mitch: Ugh, why are we here? I could be out keeping my level higher than these newbies.
Nameless: Agreed, but boss wanted us here.
Mitch: Any idea why?
Nameless: None. Absolutely none.
Then there was Zahra's group, though she herself was more distracted looking for her boyfriend.
Zahra: Has anyone seen Sky? This was a call for all Glitch Techs in both towns, wasn't it?
Five: Yeah, I don't know. It could be about him but Miko isn't here either. Then again, I don't think her parents approve of her working late.
Haneesh: What about Sky though? He's never missed one of these things, or anything actually.
Bergy: Yeah, it's not right. Something must have happened. It's not like him to suddenly miss something, especially one as important as this.
BITT: Attention all Glitch Techs! Please direct your attention to your boss, Phil! The meeting will now commence!
Everyone went silent and did as ordered. Phil replayed the video on his gauntlet and sighed. It crushed him to have to announce it but it was his job to. He didn't have a choice.
Sensing his hesitation, Joan reluctantly put a hand on his shoulder. He didn't face her but she didn't mind, as long as he was the one to say it. His employees trusted him far more than her.
Joan: As much as I hate seeing you proud of something, I hate seeing you sad even more. But you need to tell them, they deserve the truth, and you need to accept the truth.
Phil: But...he was like a son to me. Like the perfect best friend but with me being older and him younger. How...how can I accept this? Maybe he just is this good?
Joan: Phil...nobody is that good. No human, at least. He's a glitch and we hunt glitches. That way people can be safe. With something as powerful as him wondering around the streets, not to mention he's been in our operations for a whole year, he is extremely dangerous.
He let out a heavy sigh before patting her hand.
Phil: You're right, they need to know. Thank you, Joan.
Joan: Ugh, don't thank me, blockhead. It feels wrong.
Surprisingly, her comment made him chuckle. He then gently removed her hand and stepped forward to the edge of the railing, where BITT gave him a microphone. Dawning a serious glare, he connected his gauntlet to the holographic screens scattered throughout the massive room.
Phil: Glitch Techs, we have a problem. Probably the biggest we've ever had. We have a glitch in our base of operation.
Everyone but Phil, Joan & Nameless gasped. The statement caused them to chatter until he spoke again.
Phil: It's origin game is unknown. The details of it is unknown. We have no idea what this thing can do. What we do know is that it is very powerful and has taken the form of a Glitch Tech. One...that you all know and love.
He swiped up on his gauntlet and the video appeared across all the screens. It began to play instantly. The contents of the video shocked some and devastated most. Almost everyone thought of him as family, few even fell in love with him. No one could fully accept what they were watching.
Haneesh: W-What? He...he-he's a...a—
Before he could finish his sentence, Zahra grabbed the hem of his shirt and glared fire into his eyes. She refused to believe it, at least not until she heard it from Sky. Until then, she would gladly take his side over anyone else.
Zahra: Don't you even finish that sentence! He can't be a glitch! We've known him for too long! What kind of glitch acts like he does?!
Five: Yeah, she's right!
Five turned to Phil and raised his voice so everyone could hear.
Five: You said glitches act on code! What game out there could possibly match what he says and does?! He's just too human to be a glitch!
A few others rallied to his voice. They could never believe Sky was a glitch.
Mitch: Yeah! Number 2 couldn't be a bloody glitch! I would have noticed! We've been on plenty of missions together! Bergy: I'm with them! He's just too perfect to be one!
"Perfect" caught Zahra's attention. She directed her glare toward the shrinking ginger.
Zahra: Don't call my boyfriend "perfect." Only I can call him that.
Bergy: N-Noted, s-sorry.
Nix: There's no logical explanation for him being a glitch!
How could none of our security have detected him then?! How could have no one found out until now?!
Phil: A team from Dabney detected a major glitch release from our town and came over to help. There were three hundred glitches. When they got there though, only Sky was facing them all. His movements, strength, speed, agility, and precision are all inhuman. We don't know how he got into Glitch Tech unnoticed but at least now we know what he is.
BITT: This glitch is far more dangerous than any epic tier glitch! Not even code green would identify it!
Glitch Tech: What can it do?!
BITT: That is not possible to determine at the moment! Further research is needed!
Joan: Researched or not, he's a glitch. We need to hunt him down and capture his root form. Does anybody have any information on him? Home address? Favourite place to eat? Frequently visited places? Anything?
Glitch Tech: Oh! The park!
Glitch Tech: No! It's the woods!
Glitch Tech: Idiots! It's mall in town!
Glitch Tech: He eats at that spaghetti place!
Glitch Tech: I've never seen him eat!
Glitch Tech: Because he's a glitch, imbecile!
Glitch Tech: You've never seen him eat either!
Glitch Tech: Isn't there a taco truck in town?!
Glitch Tech: Surely he eats there sometimes, right?!
Glitch Tech: I heard his home is a secret cave!
Glitch Tech: An apartment!
Glitch Tech: An Invisible apartment!
Hearing so many different answers was giving the managers a headache.
Phil rubbed his temples before speaking up again.
Phil: Okay then, so nobody knows anything about his usual locations. From now on, Sky is to be considered dangerous and a glitch. Locate and capture him. If he is spotted, call for backup immediately. We'll need every available Glitch Tech to bring him down. That's why most of the Dabney crews are here today.
Joan: Most of my crews will remain here until Sky is captured. We'll bring him down no matter what.
Zahra, Nix, Bergy, Five, Haneesh & Mitch all glanced at the other Glitch Techs. Everyone else seemed to have agreed with him, though if a bit distraught by the sudden reveal. Those six just could not, however, and felt determined to help him. Even if what Phil said was correct, they did not care.
Zahra: I'll protect you, Sky. No matter what, I'll keep you safe.
Mitch: Ugh, this is gonna be such a Mitch-uation. This better be worth the effort, Number 2.
Haneesh: I got you, buddy. It's what best bros are for.
Nix: It's definitely against the rules, but I can't let you face them all alone, Sky.
Bergy: I can't let them capture Sky! He won't stand a chance by himself! I have to find him before they do!
Five, however, thought back to what he saw during the "training simulator." When Sky blew up, he turned into an orb. The same orb he saw Miko collect. The same Miko he was going to trust to tell him the truth later.
Five: Time to ask Miko about that orb.
When the meeting was over, the six Glitch Techs rushed out of the building and toward their respective homes. None of them could sleep though. They were each too busy trying to think of a plan.
The Group: How the plixels am I gonna find and help Sky?
