Chapter 61

Leah and her crew were eating breakfast in the mess. Leah reading the newspaper. It covered the entirety of the war at marine ford. She was relieved reading that Luffy got away. She was then surprised when she read that her father stopped the war.

Looking around the mess, she saw Todo strumming his guitar and Atlanta talking with Truffle. Smiling softly she continued to read the news paper. She didn't read anything else of interest, so she put it down.

Todo saw her put it down and grabbed it. He quickly read through it and then put it down. "So your dad showed up at the very end?"

"Yeah." Leah said.

"Sorry, we couldn't meet him."

"Don't be we will see him soon."

"We will?" Annie asked.

Taking a look around, Leah noticed that the crew was looking at her. "Yeah, if we are ever to get out of the New World, I need to get my father to train us."

"All to avoid the marines?" Andy asked.

"It's not just the marines." Leah said seriously.

"Other pirates?" Annie asked.

"Yeah, we likely got noticed by Big Mom , so we have to train with someone that an emperor, or the government won't attack directly."

"So, your father?" Li asked.

Leah nodded, but before the conversation could continue the ship shook. "What the…?"

The crew quickly stood up and went up to the deck. Looking out to the sea, they saw a ship that looked like a cake firing their canons at them.

"Oh no." Truffle said in despair.

Atlanta squeezed her hand. "One of your mom's ships."

Truffle nodded as another canon ball came close to hitting the ship. "Annie! Andy! To the canon!" Leah ordered.

Annie and Andy saluted before running toward the canon. "Li! Get to the helm."

He nodded taking the wheel. "Everyone else, battle stations."

The crew moved and

got ready to fight. Leah then went over towards Truffle. "Are you okay?"

Truffle nodded hesitantly. Leah gave her a look of concern but nodded. "If you feel like you can't fight hide."

Truffle nodded again, but this time with more determination. The Green Dragon turned around, ready to face the cake ship.
