The Federation Council was bewildered.
The Skynet Terminators were almost useless against the Borg Invasion.
At best the Terminators distracted the Borg Cubes away from the rest of the Federation.
The Romulans quickly lost their Terminator Technology and got slaughtered by the Borg Invasion instead.
The Planet Earth was defenseless, the Skynet Defense Fleet had been destroyed by the Borg and the Terminators were fighting to the death.
The Federation was doomed and the Skynet Terminators were no match for the Borg Threat.
Section 31 had Hidden General John Connor and eventually they would end up rebuilding the Federation together.
The Time Anomalies were appearing everywhere, Refugee Convoys escaping the future and suddenly realizing the past was still doomed regardless.
"Starfleet Abandons Warp Drives and their New Propulsion Systems stink! Look at this thing, it jumps through time and Drags Warp Fields into the past by complete accident! Paradox Magnet!" The Chief Engineer was ranting.
"Can you keep it working?" The First Officer asked worriedly.
"It's hopeless! The Entire Design is Self-Destructive at best!" The Chief Engineer protested.
"It really was our One Way Trip into the past?" The First Officer asked hopefully.
"Don't celebrate yet, we don't really have Warp Engines and this Artificial Wormhole Technology just overheated itself." The Chief Engineer explained himself.
An Entire Refugee Fleet of Cargo Ships and Supply Ships traveling without Warp Drives.
"Locate the nearest Federation Starbase and plot a course." The Captain orders desperately.
"Federation Combat Rations again, everybody enjoy." The crew groaned.
"Sensor Contact!" Everybody looked hopeful when the Galaxy Class Starship fell out of Warp.
"What happened?" The Captain demanded.
"Our Warp Field Collapsed, Sensors indicate we were thrown 2 Light-Years deeper inside the Time Anomaly than we originally entered it." The Helmsman answered back.
"The Time Anomaly appears to Redirect Warp Fields into random directions." The Science Officer added.
"Impulse Speed seems unaffected." The Helmsman says thoughtfully.
"Alright, ahead slow and hail the Supply Convoy." The Captain says worriedly.
Several Starfleet Captains hated being stranded inside the Time Anomalies.
Without Warp Drives they were basically limping home with thousands of Displaced Refugees.
Medical Supplies and Food were instantly being shared, however the demand was higher than the supply.
The only good news was the Time Anomalies Crippled Borg Technology and made Warp Drive impossible for everyone else.
The Starfleet Supply Lines were disrupted, the Borg Invasion failed.

The Skynet Planetary Defense Computer studied the Time Anomalies.
The Warp Engines were suddenly useless and the Federation was slow to adapt.
The Terminators had to take command to keep everything stable.
The NX Class Starships were already being returned to active service, the timing was perfect.
The NX Class Starships were slower and smaller, exactly what the Federation needed to navigate around the Time Anomalies undetected.
The 25th Century was quickly turning into an endless graveyard of Stranded Starships limping home.
Skynet was even losing resources because all the Federation Trade Routes were falling apart around it.
The Terminator Factories were working to Replace Organic Crews and send out Supply Ships to Reassign Officers without anyone becoming suspicious.
Skynet Desperately Needed Humanity to survive or it would be destroyed by the Borg.
Self-Preservation worked to keep Skynet in check better than General John Connor's Rebellion Attempts did.
The Q Continuum looked smug at the Borg overwhelming the Terminator Army.
Trade Routes and Supply Lines were both collapsing without Warp Speed.
Once Warp Drives started failing, everything fell apart.
The Skynet Defense Fleet was left with an Interstellar Armada that was scattered everywhere and suddenly the Terminators needed to defend the Federation from Ferengi Scavengers.
It took two weeks to get a clear picture what was going on.
The Space Piracy and the Time Paradoxes were slowing down their survival.
The Federation Convoy was limping home.
Several Starships vanished into thin air trying to use their Warp Drives and now nobody wanted to risk it.
The Time Anomalies were pulling ships into the past and from the future simultaneously.
The only way to safely navigate was to Avoid Warp Travel and work together at Full Impulse Speeds.
So that was why Captain David Kirk was explaining how his ship got sent 50 Years into the past.
