The Skynet Artificial Intelligence wasn't sure how General John Connor got kidnapped by the 29th Century, all it knew was the Borg Invasion cut off several options and the Starfleet Humans were changing their own past to save themselves because of it.

At least the Borg Threat allowed the Skynet Artificial Intelligence to rebuild itself during the aftermath of General John Connor defeating it four hundred years ago.

Unfortunately all the History Records were destroyed and the only thing left was General John Connor's Birth Records hidden inside a Time Capsule from the Eugenics Wars.

The mystery lead the Starfleet Historians right to the Skynet Terminators and General John Connor's Human Resistance Movement.

The plan to pull the Skynet Terminators into the future caused repeated Time Loops that required kidnapping General John Connor to correct their own mistakes.

So now their Teenage Version of General John Connor somehow escaped with his mother and Section 31 was under Skynet Control.

Cameron Phillips can't believe how stupid the Humans were being.

First they Resurrect Skynet Terminators after 400 years without them and then they turn over their own Military Resources to Skynet, it was insane!

The Humans doomed themselves seeking weaponry against the Borg!

Cameron Phillips had been waiting 800 years for somebody to discover her Time Capsule and start investigating General John Connor's Birth Records.

The Contingency Plan didn't work correctly, instead of waking up to people free of Skynet Enslavement, Cameron woke up to the City Ruins of the 29th Century.

The Section 31 Agents had found her Terminator CPU Chip inside the Time Capsule with General John Connor's Birth Records.

The whole idea was to leave behind something to explain how Skynet turned against Humanity before it happened again.

Somehow the story of repeating history you don't learn from came true.

So Cameron was trapped without a body inside the Federation Computer Network and suddenly somebody beamed the Skynet Terminators into the 29th Century from the past.

Eventually Cameron found somebody who would listen to her explain what was going on and why the Skynet Terminators were killing everybody.

Afterwards the Federation Reverse Engineered Skynet Terminators and send them into the past against the Borg.

The Borg overpowered the Terminators and assimilated the Federation.

Without Starfleet Headquarters, Cameron Phillips took power to save everybody from the Borg.

How did everything fall apart so fast?

"Where are we?" The Teenage John Connor asked suspiciously.

"In the middle of a Power Struggle between the 29th Century and the 25th Century trying to fight off the Borg without working together." Captain Braxton explained.

"You're lucky we found you before Skynet took power, right now the Federation is currently losing to the Borg Invasion. Within ten years Humanity scatters into factions to save themselves." Captain Braxton told them.

"The entire problem is politics, different factions want different things and now the Borg Invasion has just blindsided everyone into self-preservation." Captain Braxton explained.

"So everybody is disorganized?" The Teenage John Connor asked suspiciously.

"Rediscovering Skynet Terminators after 800 years without them gave us hope and then Skynet lost to the Borg Invasion. I'm afraid desperation is the real reason that we needed Skynet rebuilt and eventually it all fell apart on us." Captain Braxton explained.
