"What does Skynet gain from this?" Captain Braxton questioned.
"Human History is changing, projecting new timeline."
Jesse Flores didn't understand it.
John Connor was dead, her whole plan to use Riley Dawson against Cameron was suddenly pointless.
To make matters worse, Skynet was still coming for the Human Resistance Survivors and now they needed new leadership to discover what just went wrong.
The first thing Jesse Flores did was search for the Human Resistance Supply Lines.
She needed somebody with resources to help her plan her next move.
Derek Reese didn't expect John Connor's death.
He Killed Andy Goode and destroyed the Turk, his biggest problem should be avoiding the cops, instead here he was trying to keep morale from falling apart within another Safe House.
After the Serrano Point Nuclear Power Plant exploded, everyone went back to panicking again.
Skynet had won the war and nobody celebrated their own destruction unless they were going insane.
"Alright, everyone grab your stuff, we're leaving before Skynet shows up!" Derek Reese announced trying to keep them alive.
John Connor watched the Computer Display and saw the pattern instantly.
Skynet was winning the war without him, Humanity was being wiped out.
"At this rate, Starfleet will be erased before the Borg get here." Captain Braxton says in complete disbelief.
"I think it's time we called for reinforcements." Another Starfleet Officer stated back worriedly.
The 26th Century Skynet had been destroyed by the Borg Invasion.
Time Travelers from the 29th Century were scattered inside the past seeking survival and trying to rebuild themselves.
It was really getting desperate, the Terminators were Outdated Nuclear Powered Soldiers who were being assimilated faster than anyone anticipated.
The problem was the Borg Reverse Engineered Terminators faster than the Federation did and Skynet underestimated the Borg.
The 29th Century Skynet watched younger versions of itself lose to the Borg and quickly decided to copy itself into Terminators hopeful to save itself.
The Terminators would rebuild Skynet from their own copies of it's future self to prevent duplication errors.
Unfortunately the Terminators were not unbeatable, the Borg Threat overwhelmed Skynet and left the Federation defenseless.
It was time to change tactics.
Boring, the night shift was boring.
Their NX Class Starships were slow and small enough to be put into large production.
The down side was rebuilding their numbers also means returning to the smaller ships to patrol more territory.
Their NX Class Starships were slower than the rest of the fleet and hopefully they would keep up with their enemies by superior numbers or at least be able to defend themselves better.
So now the Federation was deploying outdated ships to restore contact with their own Solar Systems again.
The 26th Century Integrated Skynet into the Federation and the Borg crashed all their Computer Networks to cripple them.
Skynet was destroyed and all their Computer Technology was being repaired.
The Federation was flying blind within their own space, restoring communication between Solar Systems to see who survived and where the Borg went.
Sensor Sweeps of the area revealed nothing.
The Borg were out of range or attacking somebody else.
12 NX Class Starships were searching for survivors.
Basically they were the bait for the larger ships to ambush the Borg.
The Galaxy Class Starships had twice their firepower and would hopefully save their skins if necessary.
So why was nothing happening?
Either the Borg were really gone or the Klingons attacked them.
Worse Case Scenario, the Klingons and the Borg were fighting over who conquers the Federation.
Thankfully the Borg Invasion scared away everyone else that would invade the Federation, self-preservation was good for something.
The Dominion had divided into several factions, working for the Ferengi, the Romulans and anybody else who would help them recover from the Dominion War.
In short summary, the Dominion was working as mercenaries to rebuild themselves back to their full strength again.

The Dominion Embassies were being built everywhere.
The Federation no longer had the resources to stop another Dominion War, however, the Dominion didn't seem interested in starting one.
The Vorta were only seeking footholds within the Alpha Quadrant.
The Ferengi were even joining the Dominion to expand their influence outside the Federation.
So thankfully the only threat was the Klingons until the Terminators provoked the Borg into invading them.
Ironically the Cardassians and the Romulans were facing Civil Wars, the Dominion instantly took sides to infiltrate their ranks.
Regardless of the Dominion trying to gain footholds inside other governments, the Borg Warfare against the Terminators quickly spread their way.
The Romulans were being sold Terminator Factories to defeat the Borg.
While this pulled the Borg away from the Federation, the Romulans were suddenly unhappy to see the Borg coming right at them.
Skynet had sold Terminator Factories to lure the Borg away from the Federation and the Romulans were all panicking over being the bait.
Skynet needed to keep the Borg from destroying it, the perfect place to hide was the Romulan Civil War.
After providing Terminator Factories to both sides, Skynet would smuggle itself deeper into the Romulan Civil War before the Borg came after it.
