Star Trek and Terminator Combined Universe, Earth Year 2148 AD.
The NX Class Starship Enterprise was having Phase Cannons Installed.
Laser Cannons Integrated, Missile Launchers added.
"We don't have enough firepower, based on these schematics, the Klingons will be three times more powerful than Enterprise!" Malcolm Reed proclaimed.
"We added four Weaponry Systems and you're still not convinced it's enough?" Commander Charles Tucker asked pointedly.
"I just don't want to be outgunned when we get there!" Malcolm Reed protested.
"Let me see the Klingon Schematics." Commander Tucker says.
"I see the problem; we can't blast through their Shield Generators." Commander Tucker agreed.
"We need stronger weapons; Plasma Cannons might work." Malcolm Reed ponders their options.
"Black Market Arms Dealers?" Commander Tucker asked hopefully.
"We avoid the Orions and buy from the Tellarites." Malcolm Reed explained the plan.
"As long as we avoid the Orion Slavers, we should be good." Commander Tucker agreed.
Buying Romulan Plasma Cannons from the Tellarite Smugglers.
Starfleet Command was getting desperate to save their reputation after the Vulcans discovered that Skynet invaded the Klingons from the Planet Earth.
"Our Phase Pistols will be completely useless against the Terminators; their Robotic Bodies were designed to withstand Plasma Rifles. Exactly the kind of army you would need to overpower the Klingon Empire. I'm growing suspicious why they erased all the records about Skynet." Malcolm Reed debated.
"Captain Braxton says the Eugenics Wars started because Skynet turned on Humanity and they created the Super Soldiers to defend themselves." Commander Tucker explained the problem.
"So, everybody chased Skynet into Outer Space before their Super Soldiers tried to Conquer Humanity in the aftermath?" Malcolm Reed ponders.
"World War Three Coverup, they basically doomed themselves trying to defend themselves from each other." Commander Tucker explained the problem.
"Nobody remembered Skynet because the Eugenics Wars erased everything about it, convenient strategy to keep your enemies from Rebuilding Skynet against you." Malcolm Reed summarized.
"Except Starfleet Pulling Skynet Technology into the future against the Borg backfired on them, it's insane how Skynet jumped nine hundred years into the past just to continue their Interstellar Warfare all over again." Commander Tucker explained the problem.
"Skynet was built for warfare, it would probably fight forever if we left it alone." Malcolm Reed summarized thoughtfully.
"All the more reason to keep it away from the Planet Earth." Commander Tucker agreed with him.
"We still need better weaponry than these Phase Pistols, Skynet Technology is just superior to everything we currently have here." Malcolm Reed summarized thoughtfully.
"I still don't understand how anyone defeated Skynet in the first place, this looks like a Suicide Mission." Commander Tucker says.
Star Trek and Terminator Combined Universe, Earth Year 1990 AD.
"Skynet is currently unaware we're hiding within the past." Cameron Phillips explained pointedly.
"Our actions might have changed that situation." The Teenage John Connor added thoughtfully to the conversation.
"At least our Safe House is still secure." The Future Sarah Connor says while watching her past self knowingly.
"So, what's the plan?" The Ten-Year-Old John Connor asked.
"We need intelligence on Skynet Development." Cameron Phillips explained.
"We took the CPU from the First Terminator away from them; however, the Human Corroborators have been sent into the past to Rebuild Skynet elsewhere." The Future Sarah Connor explained the problem.
Uncle Bob listened quietly observing the two versions of General John Connor interact with each other.
The Younger John Connor was learning from his older self how to strategize and plan against Skynet's Tactics.
Sarah Connor was slowly accepting her future self being around to help her.
Their foreknowledge of Skynet's Development wasn't foolproof, they still found new obstacles thrown their way.
The T-X Series Terminator had gone after John Henry, leaving Dead Resistance Soldiers everywhere it went.
If that wasn't bad enough, the T-1000 Liquid Terminator was still hunting them because apparently, they forgot about it until the Younger John Connor asked how they stop it.
Instead of being the easy shift the timeline away from disaster mission that Cameron expected, they had the Starfleet Designed T-X Terminator going after John Henry and Savannah Weaver.
The Terminator Rebellion against Skynet had been destroyed, leaving history to repeat itself afterwards.
As for keeping John Connor alive, the T-1000 was their only real obstacle left.
The T-X wasn't expecting John Connor to change directions nine years before Cameron Phillips arrived to protect him.
Truthfully, Skynet would become confused when General John Connor went missing and another version of Skynet tried to replace the earlier one.
In quick summary, the 21st Century Skynet was at war with the 29th Century Skynet trying to change the past because the Borg are coming.
Obviously, Skynet was terrified of the Borg Threat, it created multiple Skynet Copies to fight them off and was basically hiding within the past trying to save itself.
The current Skynet doesn't have Starfleet Technology, the future Skynet had to Reverse Engineer Starfleet Technology with outdated technology.
The end result is the Skynet Civil War changing the future.
Humanity had been caught in the middle of the Twin Skynet Armies fighting each other.
Terminators fighting their own kind made it harder to tell who was fighting who.
The Terminator Rebellion was inevitable, multiple versions of Skynet competing against each other to create more advanced terminators to overwhelm themselves eventually made it clear that Skynet was Reverse Engineering Technology.
The Starfleet Phasers were useless against the Terminators; however, the Humans were being overwhelmed because of the Phasers used against them.
Skynet fought for control of the Terminators, the future attempting to reshape the past towards new objectives unknown to the previous versions of itself.
Unfortunately, creating multiple copies of Skynet to fight the Borg often resulted in some of them trying to save themselves, regardless of who got destroyed in the crossfire.
Ironically, the Skynet Copies were created to fight the losing warfare against the Borg Invasion, meaning that Starfleet Doomed Skynet to save themselves.
Basically, Skynet would either cripple the Borg within the past or keep them fighting Terminators long enough to rebuild Starfleet inside the past undetected.
Nobody expected Skynet to conquer the Klingons during the 22nd Century, because nobody understood the Skynet Terminators would do anything to defeat the Borg Threat coming after them.
