Penny looked at what to wear when her birthday guests Arrived. "Red shirt or blue star top?"
Amethyst rolled her eyes. "No worries, little P. just wear what looks good." Penny put on the blue star top with a red skirt. She saw a meteor fall out of the sky to a little home world. She ran out of the house to see what it was. "Wait up kid!"
She saw gems being poofed and then collected by a man white skin with black spots wearing an overcoat with a symbol of a four pointed. "Hey stop!" She ordered the man turned.
He smiled. "I am Amanita, a space pirate and aren't these gems colonizing this planet? No matter they're my booty now" He then saw Amethyst coming toward them. "Another gem for my collection." He laid the bag down he was collecting the gems in and rushed toward amythest only to get bubbled. Steven was riding on Lion. "An organic?" he squinted at Steven. "Why do you have a pink shine around you?"
Steven looked normal which caused everyone to look worried at the invader. "Are you a gem?" At that Amanita erupted in light tendrils attacking at the bubble around if furious at being called a gem. "WOW! Ok not a gem."
Pearl came to Steven and Amethyst. "Steven! What is that thing?" She looked at him. "It has no Gem."
Amanita Sneered. "I'm not a thing or It. I am a Pilz you planet ripper" He punched the bubble. "Why are you protecting them from me!" He punched at the bubble again.
Pearl looked at him again. "The gems have never encountered anything like the Pilz, though they also never encountered a sapient species before humans either." Amanita punched the Bubble again. "We need to put him somewhere where he can't hurt gems."
Amethyst suggested. "timeout house, we put rowdy quartz gems in there." Steven pushed the bubble to the timeout house.
Amanita growled his light tendrils concentrating into a sword then hitting at the walls. "Well, do I get food?" he asked, sitting down on the floor.
Steven sighed. "Yea at lunch, now Penny we better get your party ready." The poofed gems were reforming at this point. "We will question you later." Amanita glared as the left, Penny looked at Amanita, the creature looked like a wild beast in a cage, and walked in circles.
They got to Penny's birthday with her classmates and gems at the beach house, Peridot then surprised everyone with a DJ set ready. "DJ Peri in the house!" They cheered.
While everyone partying Penny got out and went to the timeout house with a plat of cake. "Hey." She said
Amanita looked. "Happy Hatchday." Penny raised a brow surprised. "Oh wait you're mammals, happy birthday." Penny gave him the cake through the small window. "Here, have some cake, so you know earthlings aren't rude." He took it and tasted it.
"Thank you. Tell your father that I won't tell him anything."
Penny shrugged. "No worries though, I hope you get out soon. Never met a real alien before." Amanita finished the cake.
His eyes turned toward her, his iris pupils widening. "How old are you turning?" He questioned, licking his lips.
"Ten," Penny replied, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "How is space?"
Amanita's face lit up. "Space? It's wild, kid. Picture the biggest ocean you've ever seen, but filled with stars instead of water, asteroids instead of fish and planets instead of whales."
Penny leaned closer to the window, fascinated. "Have you been to lots of planets?"
"Oh yes, many worlds," Amanita chuckled. "Some are like giant snowballs, others in infancy burning with youth. Earth's Beautiful, young but not brash, temperamental yet loving. You've got cake."
Penny giggled. "What's the weirdest thing you've seen out there?"
Amanita scratched his chin. "Hmm... probably a planet where it rains diamonds. I saw light passing through them creating rainbows on the clouds."
"Wow!" Penny's eyes widened. "That sounds amazing!"
"It is," Amanita nodded, then his tone softened. "Thanks for the cake. And for talking to me. It gets lonely here."
Penny smiled. "No problem. Maybe I can bring you more food tomorrow?"
"I'd like that," Amanita said, returning her smile. "Just don't get in trouble, okay?"
"I won't," Penny assured him. She heard music from the beach house. "I should go back to my party. See you later, Amanita!"
Penny walked away and he mumbled. "Why human's let gems stay near them?" He looked out the window with disgust in his eyes seeing the heaven and earth beetles walking past the timeout house, he sat back into the shadow and closed his eyes.
As the sun dipped at the horizon of the desert an asteroid crashed, it broke apart and a Pilz wearing a gas mask with hair like rotten fabric stepped out. "A new petri dish, with new subjects to experiment with." He breathed deeply as his chest opened, and his core let out light tendrils pulsating transfiguring the sand into glass. "So much potential in this world, so much to change." He grabbed an insect with a light tendril. "Isn't that true, little creature?" He squinted at it, then crushed it. "kekeke!" He laughed. "Tricho the Flesh alchemist, will make this my paradise!" He announced with twisted glee.
As the sun rose at the beach temple a eight feet tall creature flew to the temple, it landed on the beach looking around. The creature had six arms and large wings with a futuristic gas mask. Steven looked out his eyes wide with shock and Connie stepped to the window brushing her teeth and spat on it then grabbed her sword. The creature roared if demanding attention.
The crystal gems came out of the temple. "Steven what is going on?" Pearl asked and then saw the creature on the beach. "Oh."
Amethyst gasped. "Wow, that's some shapeshifting!" It then spat acid at their beach house door. "Not cool!"
Garnet nodded. "We need to contain it!" It raised one arm showing it was a robotic arm with a yellow device Inside it. Then made a fist causing a blue field to surround them, they all had circuitry veins as they fell to floor in pain.
Connie grabbed her sword and ran at the creature but it held the sword between its palms then the other four arms held Connie's limbs disarming her. "Kekeke." the thing Cackle with glee. "What are you?" It asked pushing her eyelids open.
Penny saw the scene and ran to little homeworld, she saw all the gems falling being affected by the destabilizer field then went to the timeout house. "Amati!" She yelled trying to open the door. "We need your help please."
Amatina turned toward her. "Are you alright?" He was concerned at her frenzied way of speaking, as she opened the door.
Penny then said. "There's this weird creature with six arms and a distablazier field." At that Amanita ran out generating a light sword, following the footprints on the sand back to the beach house.
"Tricho." Amanita said glaring at the creature.
The creature finished poking around Connie's face. "Kekeke! Time for A vivisection." The robotic hand's fingers turned to knives and then Amanita sliced its head off, fluid motion His blade curved down slicing it's hands off, then started falling apart into goo.
"Just a clone." He said scoffing at the creature turned into goo and he crushed the robotic arm causing the distablizer field to turn off and the gems regained their foot as the yellow field dispersed.
Connie ran to Steven as he stood. "Oh my head." He saw Amanita. "What are you doing here?"
Amanita turned to Steven. "Saving you, your wife, and your friends? That distablizer field must have been one heck of a pain huh?" All the other gems groaned.
Amethyst added. "I feel like I ate four month old taco's." She said sitting up.
Pearl stood up, summoning her spear. "Yes, well thank you for saving us Amanita."
However, the garnets didn't look as thankful. "How do you know the enemy?" She demanded summoning her gauntlets.
He sighed. "Way back we had a battle, he likes to alter his body into monstrous forms , his art as he calls it. Until now he didn't have other biological life to alter and modify with tech like robotics." He stepped harder on the prosthetic arm. "He tried to modify me once, since you gems wipe out anything organic he never had another life to alter. He is like a mad artist with one canvas, now he has billions."
Connie looked disgusted. "That's horrible!"
Their eyes widened. "So you're the same species?" Garnet accused.
Amanita Nodded. "Yes, but I hate him. So how about a deal, you keep me fed and I will help if he uses the distablizer field again."
Steven and the crystal gems got into a huddle. "What do you guys think?" He asked them.
Connie was the first to speak. "Well he did save our butts." She turned to Amarita looking out into the ocean.
Amethyst spoke up. "Yea and if he just wants food it should be fine." She muttered. "I wonder if he would garbage dive with me."
Pearl made a disgusted sound before speaking her own thoughts. "We will need his Expertise, on the Pilz and This Tricho character."
Garnet sighed. "I don't Know, Everything involving him is clouded. But every vision without him had mutated monsters attacking us." Garnet then stepped out of the huddle. "Amanita, why did you and Tricho come here?"
Amanita glared at garnet. "I came here to stop any gem colonization, but it appears I was mistaken."
Connie spoke more gently than garnet. "And Tricho? What's his motivation?"
Amanita sighed. "Sad story really, when we first met Tricho was a space cataloguer of life, an intergalactic naturalist."
Steven and Amethyst's eyes sparkled. "That's so Cool!"
Amanita turned somber. "The issue was he never found a planet with life other than his creation world, kept finding Gem colonies instead of what he theorized to be possible vibrant planets. Then out of frustration he returned to his homeworld and then found another gem colony, all the life he studied was erased."
Pearl spoke. "That's horrible, but that doesn't excuse that!" She pointed at the goop.
Amanita agreed. "Ofcourse, now I assume we can work together?"
Steve nodded with a smile. "Sure, shake on it." offered a hand.
Amanita shaked his body "Weird way the seal verbal contract, but that's how you earth do it."
Penny came panting. "Dad!— Oh wow he was fast." She hugged her dad. "Oh I was so worried!" She teared up.
Amanita stokely asked. "Do you have anything to eat?"
Connie turned to Amanita. "There's some cake in the fridge." Amethyst held amanita's hand he cringed at touching amethyst she pulled to the house.
Garnet said what they were thinking. "He hates us."
Steven turned to garnet. "We just need to show him that the gems have changed." garnet smiled and nodded.
The sands outside roared as Tricho stood in his sand stone castle whipped up in the short with his powers. "Amanita you old fool, I should have expected to meet again seeing as we both have the same prey." His body generated a liquid filled sack in middle a new life form developing inside. "But I will erase the cancer that are the gems. I will have an army ready! We will see who will survive this universe as I cure this world of the gem disease!"
