Bonus Chapter 1

After an hour of party games, all the party guests, except for the Loud Siblings have been picked up by their parents and given goodie bags by Mrs. Helmandollar. Now, while she talking with Luna, Luan, and Lincoln about payment for their service. Darcy is on the couch opening her gift from Lisa, who is sitting next to her watching.

Darcy: "Wow Lisa...umm...what is it?"

Darcy asks as she holds up a purple rectangle with a dial on it.

Lisa: "It's my take on the portable play table, Darcy." (Fixes her glasses): "Just turn the dial."

And so, she does. Which causes the rectangle to jump out of the birthday girl's hand, and onto the floor. It then opens, grows in size, and sprouts legs. Not only did it transform into a table, but it dispenses a tub of sand and a tub of water.

Darcy (With sparkling eyes and a big smile): "My very own sand table!"
Lisa: "Not only that..."

Lisa finds the dial at the bottom of the table and turns it. Which causes the tubs to disappear and a toy city with a road to take its place.

Darcy: "A city!"

And before Darcy can say anything else, Lisa turns the dial again. Now, in replace of the toy city is a toy castle with a flower meadow.

Darcy: "And a fairy tale wonderland?!" (Hugs her friend tight): "This is the best birthday gift ever!"
Lisa (Frowns): "Unfortunately this version of the table only has three settings." (With a smile): "But I promise you, Darcy. I'll bring an update to you as soon as I can."
Darcy: "You don't need to do that Lisa. It's perfect just the way it is!" (Hugs tighter): "Just like my best friend!"
Lisa (Hugs back): Aww!"

As soon as the two friends break up the hug, an idea pops into Darcy's mind.

Darcy: "We can play with the table when we have our playdate next weekend. Oh...yeah."
Darcy says sadly with a frown.

Lisa: "What's the matter, Darcy?"
Darcy: "I just remember. My mommy said she might have to go to work next weekend. She stayed home two days this week to get the house ready for my party. And Daddy will be at work too."
This gets Lisa to start scratching her chin, thinking of a solution to this problem. In a matter of seconds, it dawned on her.
Lisa: "Well, perhaps one of my elder siblings could watch over us on our day play, while your parental units are away ."
Darcy (With hope): "You do think they could?"
Lisa: "We better go ask them."
And so, the two friends make their way to Luan, Luna, and Lincoln. Each counts their share of the money Mrs. Helmandollar has given them.

Mrs. Helmandollar: "Now are you sure it's enough?"
Lincoln: "Got my half."
Luan: "Me too!"

Luna: "Me three, dudes!"
Lisa: "Siblings, Mrs. Helmandollar...Darcy and I would like to discuss a certain matter with you."

After giving them an explanation, Lisa asked her siblings, if either one of the three of them or perhaps Leni or Lynn could watch her and Darcy, while they have their playdate next weekend.

Luna: "Sorry little dudes." (With a frown): "I have a gig next weekend."

Luan: "And I already promised Leni to take the twins and Lynn to the mall to her that day."

Lincoln: "Well..." (Scratches the back of his head): "I wasn't sure what I was going to do next weekend. But..." (With a smile): "Now I know."

With absolute delight and cheeks blushing up a storm, Darcy hugs tightly around Lincoln's legs, before grabbing his arm and starting to pull it. Dragging him towards the play table Lisa has gifted her. All while Lisa, her sisters, and Mrs. Helmandollar watch with smiles.

For the young scientist, she figures that Darcy is just being her kind, bubbly, and friendly self. The same goes for Mrs. Helmandollar. But as for Luna and Luan...they know better.

Luan (Whisper): "Do you think we should tell Linc? You know...about Darcy's crush on him."

Luna (Whisper): "Nah sis! He'll find out sooner or later..."
