The creature looked around, he hated it here, little homeworld was like a swamp to him of evil rock people. Then penny asked. "How are you feeling?" Amanita looked down. "You're scowling."
The Pilz sighed. "I have been here for three nights and I'm getting sick of this little town." He told Penny who was surprised by the notion of getting bored in little homeword.
The penny grabbed Amanita's hand pulled him. "How about I show you around beach city." He followed the ten year old girl to beach city and his response was.
"Does your species have no talent at naming, huh?" Amanita asked walking next to Penny who sucked through her teeth.
Instead of admitting it she turned his attention to the Beach Citywalk Fries. "First stop the Fries shop." Amanita blinked. "Yes we're not good at naming stuff all right? do you want some fries or eat at little homeworld again."
Amanita shuttered. "Gems have no sense of taste! Their food tastes like eating cardboard. You win Penelope." He followed penny to Beach Citywalk Fries.
Terra greeted them. "Hello Penny and Amanita the space pirate, so what brings you here?"
Penny smiled at her friend. "Oh just showing our new arrival around."
she nodded and looked to spotted alien. "So is earth treating you?"
Amanita sniffed the air. "my tongue feels like a fish in a desert."
Terra leaned the counter and Guessed. "Gem cuisine."
"I swear they only eat for the mouth feel." He grumbled. "I mean they use motor oil as a condiment!" He announced.
Penny's Face scrunched up in disgust. "Oh yea, that's Amethyst fault."
Terra shacked her head, chuckling. "Oh yea, those gems. How about chilly fries? It's spicy and tasty."
Amanita nodded digged his pockets and brought an ingot of old. "Will be enough?"
Terra jaw fell eyes widened. "Whoa… that's way too much."
Penny pulled his hand away. "We use dollars here."
Amanita raised a brow. "What kind of material is dollurs? Is it some fancy earth alloy?"
Penny showed it to him. "These, paper money."
Amanita blinked. "From a rare tree that only grows once a century?"
Penny couldn't help giggled. "No, Just paper, it represents value."
Terra nodded grinning. "Yea that gold chunk could buy you a house or a car."
Amanita eyes went wide. "A house you say? Away from that gem-infested swamp?"
Penny spoke up. "Hey, little homeworld isn't that bad!"
"You're right" Amanita sighed. "It's worse."
Terra chuckled, sliding a basket of chili fries across the counter. "Here, try these. On the house."
He looked at it cautiously. "No motor oil right?"
Terra took a fry and chomped it down. "Nope, just delicious fries topped with savory chilly."
He ate a fry. "Oh by the stars, this is actually good and not garbage disguised as food!"
Penny smiled. "See? Earth food isn't so so bad."
Amanita added. "Gem food isn't earth food, I'm not counting that trash the gems make."
Giant seagull was flying toward beach city. Terra gasped. "Oh no, Penny better tell you dad and your aunts."
Penny nodded and looked at Amarita. "Come you can eat later." He humbles took out a remote pointed at pressed. "What was that?"
Amanita counted. "Three two one." Lasers hit it out of the sky and it fell out of the sky into the ocean turning to goo.
The two looked at Amanita swallowed a hand full of fries. "Space Pirate remember? I have a spaceship stationed near the moon."
Penny gulped. "Ok that was pretty cool!"
Terra laughed. "Dude, that was awesome!" She high fives Amanita
Then they heard screaming. "What's that?" Penny asked as it got louder.
Peridot then grabbed Penny screaming. "We're being invaded!" Peridot then carried Penny and ran back to little homeworld.
He looked at Terra. "She's not a threat right?" He asked concerned.
Terra gave her own theory. "I think she mistaken your ships laser as the first strike of an invasion." Ronaldo came barreling down the board walk screaming. "There's my dad." He then grabbed Terra and ran to his car. "Bye Amanita."
Amanita sighed sitting alone. "Humans are weird."
Meanwhile, Little Homeworld was in total chaos. Gems were running around like headless chickens, screaming about an invasion. Peridot had sounded the alarm, and now everyone was losing their marbles.
Lapis came down and told them. "There's a giant space ship next to the moon! The end is near" That added fuel to the fire.
Amethyst was screaming circles and bismuth armored up ready to punch some invaders.
Steven came asking demanding everyone to calm down. "Calm down! Can everyone calm down?!"
They froze and peridot dropped penny. "Ok first which one of you killed that mutant seagull that was almost as big at the temple and second what got you all thinking there was an invasion."
Peridot then explained rapidly. "There was this laser, and it vaporized the mutant seagull and after that Lapis saw a space ship next to he moon!"
Penny spoke up rubbing her butt after being dropped. "That Amanita's ship and he protected us. Though I think he also did it to finish his lunch in peace."
Bismuth started de-armoring. "So no invasion? I got cleaned up for nothing!" She kicked the boot away.
Steven paused taking a breath. "Ofcourse, he has a spaceship. I need to thank him for taking care of that thing later." He turned to his daughter with a awarm smile. "Penny you have homework waiting for you with Pearl."
Amanita came looking at the chaos. "Well, I was expecting something annoying like taichi or art class. I'm going for a swim Your oceans aren't boiling right?"
Steven paused. "Uh Normally no."
Amanita smiled. "Good, see you in four hours, you guys do clean up— is that tree on fire?" He asked before running away.
Steven shacked his head. "Ok everyone, start cleaning up. Penny homework your time it's math." She groaned crossed her arms and followed her dad.
peridot looked to the sky concerned. "Hey lapis." Lapis attention turned to her friend, from picking a Ruby out of a tree. "What did the ship look like?"
Lapis concentrated recounting what had happened. "Like a gigantic shark, pitch black with white spots, the fins had lasers on it"
Amanita came back hitting his ear. "Your oceans are filled with salt, why?"
Peridot pointed at him and asked him in a demanding tone. "Why does your ship have laser weapons?!"
Amanita casually picked her by the finger and tossed to the ocean and turned to lapis. "Can you be polite please?"
Lapis shrugged thinking she would pick peridot out of the ocean later. "Sure, why do you have lasers?"
Amanita dug his ear. "Yea, asteroids and space debris. Why was that green one so mean."
Lapis deadpanned. "Because she's short."
Amanita smirked nodding. "Is That why rubies are energetic?"
Lapis shrugged taking the Ruby out of the tree. "Maybe, they're balls of fire."
The ruby just took it as a compliment and walked away. "Why is the oceans so salty?" Amanita asked whipping his face.
Lapis raised an Eyebrow. "Wait you drank from the ocean?"
Amanita shrugged. "It looked clean enough to drink."
Lapis chuckled. "Oh boy, better get you real water before you shrivel up."
Amanita blinked. "You unusually calm."
Lapis shrugged. "I decided to go with the flow more." She flew to a house got a bottle and Amanita opened it and drank from it.
