I hate this website, it deleted my formatting no matter what I did. I tried copypasting, I tried a docx file, I tried everything. Nothing worked. Don't read my story here, read it on Ao3, it's under the same story name with my author name being Yellowscar.
[Bonnie]
Alright, time to narrate that rewr- …wait, what do you mean we're ditching the rewrite? Seriously!? Dude, we spent a month rewriting it to have Ethan escape and leave before the animatronics reach the office again! You decided it wasn't realistic that Ethan would just team up with them like that, that he'd end up following Foxy's trail on his own!
A comment? Really? That convinced you? Ugh, fine.
Bonnie was sitting against the wall, tears going down her face as everything caught up to her. The people hurt, the guards terrorized, the families likely broken by all this. So on and so forth. And worse yet, one of her closest friends is missing, possibly hurt, all because she and the others couldn't tell the difference between a human and an endoskeleton.
"F-find anything yet?" She sniffled, asking Chica who was checking the cameras.
"Can't find anything live, and I can't figure out how to check the recordings… I don't even know if these cameras have recording." Chica groaned.
"I doubt it," Freddy spoke, "this place struggles just staying lit during the night, wouldn't surprise me they wouldn't bother having cameras record stuff."
"Wait- Found it!" Chica exclaimed. "Pressed one of the keys, it brung up some sort of menu."
"...nevermind then." Freddy shrugged.
"S-so you can find where he went?" Bonnie asked, getting up to see the laptop on the desk.
"I can try," Chica answered, selecting footage from ealier that night. "but I doubt it'll show anything more than Foxy getting the keys and leaving."
"Then let's see if we can find any clues during it." Freddy spoke, "That, and hope our new friend finds some clues outside."
And so they did, setting the camera to Pirate's Cove and fast-forwarding until they saw Foxy run out… and reach the blindspot outside the door.
"Did he get inside?" Chica asked.
"Maybe, he usually starts heading back to his cove by now." Bonnie noted.
"Oh, he's leaving!" Chica pointed, with Foxy going back into the hall and turning around. "Wait, what's he doing now?"
It was at that point that a key ring, the very same you read about in chapter one, was thrown at him.
"Wow, even when making the deal he kept his distance." Chica spoke.
"Makes sense," Bonnie sniffled, "We scared him half to death."
It's worth noting that if Foxy or Ethan were there, they'd probably have joked about scaring him completely to death.
"Fair, fair." Chica changed the camera to catch Foxy going past his cove… then to see him going through the main room… and then nothing.
"Well, that's it for the cameras." Chica sighed.
"Not yet, it isn't." Freddy spoke, taking a hold of the laptop and pressing a few buttons… revealing cameras outside the pizzaria.
"What? How'd you know about that?" Chica asked, the guard moving to their truck on the camera.
"My brain is hooked up to the cameras, remember?" Freddy spoke, rewinding to find Foxy going outside. "That's how I was able to stay on top of any trouble, back when we could still move during the day."
"That's great! That means we can see where Foxy-" Bonnie spoke, only to be interrupted by a loud noise and an impact on camera… Much to everyone's horror.
[Ethan D Kraft]
Ethan, a chair in hand and his head on a swivel, made his way through the other hall… making his way to the front doors, having already forgotten about them being locked. He'd obviously remember it once getting there, and make his way to the unlocked fire exit, but the detour was annoying regardl-
*CREAK*
…It opened… It opened as if it weren't locked to begin with… which it couldn't have been without the keys.
…And judging by how Ethan stopped in his tracks, looked at the doors, and facepalmed… It seems the implications of his stupidity had caught up to him.
Groaning at this, he moved forward to his dad's truck… Only to notice something metallic glimmering on the street, along with a trail of oil…
Said metallic object being- on closer inspection- a pirate's hook… Foxy's hook.
Needless to say, this was bad news.
Naturally, he chucked the chair toward the restaurant and got in the truck, using his other set of keys to start it…
Or, try to start it. The old thing had trouble starting, but once it did; he started moving to follow the trail…
"HEY!"
…Only to be interrupted by one of the animatronics yelling at him, and all three of them running towards him. Probably thinking he was about to ditch them or something.
Judging by how Ethan raced forward to follow the trail they weren't wrong.
Sure, he considered the idea of stopping to let them more easily tag along, but between his lack of trust in them and the fact he wanted to do this solo; he wasn't gonna.
…Or at least he wasn't gonna, until he remembered the time limit and how Foxy being kidnapped like this meant Ethan might need backup. This thought prompting him to slow down.
"…Naaaah," he sped back up. Sure, having three metal titans to help rescue whatever kidnapped the fourth would be nice. But he still did not trust those three, and figured he'd be better off doing this himself.
…And, with that, he was left with his thoughts…
As well as the simple fact that he was, completely and utterly, f#$&ed.
He's at risk of being sued or imprisoned over a missing animatronic… He was at risk of getting stuffed in a deadly fursuit by some dumb robots… And since quitting wasn't an option, his best-case scenario was just surviving another night.
To summarize his situation in words he himself would use; Not great.
…and as he drove further, it dawned on him that driving ahead like this no doubt pissed the three animatronics off… whether they were telling the truth or not.
If it turned out that that of all decisions is what kills him that night, he might just die a second time laughing about it in the afterlife.
Whatever the case…
…
He was in…
…
For one hell of a night.

Foxy awoke to find himself restrained on a flipped table perpendicular to the floor.
"Ugh… what in th' seven s-" He groaned, only to find himself face to face with the figure that ran him over.
"You…" Foxy breathed, unsure of who this was… or if they meant him harm.
"Yes… It's me." The figure spoke, voice sounding as if they were grinning under the mask.
"Who… who are you?"
"Why, you don't recognize me?" The figure mock-gasped, "I'm hurt! I would have thought you would recognize me. Having tried to kill me for five nights."
Ah… so this was a guard…
"I… I'm sorry, lad. If I knew then what I knew now, I never would've-"
"Ah ah ah, don't apologize!" The figure interrupted, pushing Foxy's jaw shut with a chuckle, "You will ruin the moment!"
"Wh-"
"Now that I say it, don't speak, either. I only needed you active so you could run the new code I've put on you!"
Foxy's eyes went wide open,."WHAT?!"
"That is correct, my dear friend. I was initially planning to simply return you to your establishment to run it later… but it appears your new victim came to rescue you!"
"New friend?" Foxy asked aloud,.not remembering any new f- "...The night guard?!" Foxy gasped.
"Yes! The night guard, and that is not even the best part." The figure chuckled, "You see, it will be you who kills him!"
"What?! But I know th' laad isn't an endo! I would never-" Foxy stopped, recalling the statement about new code, "...No, no! You [bully]!"
"Oh yes, and it'll happen with just one word…"
A door opened at the other end of the room with a loud *Clang,* a new digure with a familiar voice. "Hey! Hands off the bot!"
"No lad! It's a trap!" Foxy shouted, only for the figure to laugh.
"It's showtime!" the figure donned their mask.

And suddenly, on que with the word, Foxy felt his control slip away… His head and limbs twitching as his body breaks free of its constraints. This was bad, real bad.
