Chapter 4: Jury Duty
Danny and the others had been telling their story, but Val interrupted again.
"Okay...again...how did you all know how that meeting between Walker and those Observer ghosts went?..."Val asked, still confused about a lot of things.
"Observants. They call themselves the Observants..."Danny corrected
"Again...ghosts like to gloat a lot and let's just say someone filled us in on the rest..."Star said, and her friend still looked confused.
"Correction, evil likes to gloat a lot. Ghost or human, if you're bad then you love the sound of your own voice..."Tucker corrected.
"Like Psycholette..." Sam added.
"True..." Star conceded.
"But..."Val tried, but Danny answered again.
"Again, all will make sense once we're done telling the story..."Danny promised.
Val sighed.
"Okay...so...what happened after Walker started his whole evil plan?..."The red huntress asked, still curious about that.
"Okay...like we said...Danny-Boo and I were officially starting our pest-free weekend and were trying to enjoy it..."Star said, as she continued with the story.
Story
Danny and Star had just finished their movie, gotten pizza and were now bowling together.
"STRIKE!..."Star cheered, after getting her fourth strike in a row.
"Awesome! Looks like someone is on fire today!..."Danny praised, as he noticed that she already broke their bowling record from last time.
Star giggled.
"Oh, you..."She said, before planted a kiss on his cheek.
Danny smiled at that.
"You're the best, Starlight!~..."He said in a lovesick way, making her laugh again.
"It's good to be the best..."Star said, happy about this.
"A whole weekend with no Jean-Puke, no witch with fake red hair pestering us...just me, my Boo and two days of fun and freedom. This weekend is gonna be awesome! I just know it!..."Star thought happily, unaware that she might have just jinxed herself.
Present Time
"Looking back, I probably should have bragged a little less at that moment. I was just in such a great mood back then that I basically forgot about Murphy's law..."Star said with dread, since she should have known something could have gone wrong.
"Why am I getting the feeling that the psycho did something to ruin things for you guys?..."Val said.
"No, not that time. Surprisingly enough..."Danny said.
"Then something like a random ghost attack was about to ruin your date?..."Val guessed and Star scoffed.
"Believe me, I WISH that's all that happened..."Star grumbled, apparently still bitter about something.
Val sent Danny a questioning look.
"Again...everything will make sense once we finish telling the story. Moving on..."Danny said. "Now, where was I?..."He wondered.
"You basically talked about you and Star trying to be overly cutesy with each other, while Walker plotted his evil scheme and Star's mom dragged your mom to her tennis tournament..."Sam reminded.
"Oh, right. Well, I didn't hear about this until Mom told me when I got home that night, but apparently Star's mom and Eleanor asked her to be on their team for the tennis tournament...and wouldn't take no for an answer..." Danny said, he continued with his tale.
Back to the story
At the country club
Jack and Maddie had just arrived here, having received a call from Eleanor and Stella to arrive immediately.
The club's head of security allow them inside once Eleanor explained she was expecting them and now Charles, Eleanor's assistant brought them into the Golden Guild's room.
"Here you are. Madame President and Madame Bevier will be here shortly. Please enjoy some tea and crumpets as you wait..."Charles said, as a server brought them a fancy and elegant looking tray with tea and snacks.
Jack grinned.
"Sweet!..."He said as he began to scarf them down in a not-so-classy manner.
"I wonder why Eleanor called so suddenly and asked us over. I hope the new Anti-Ghost security system we installed isn't malfunctioning..."Maddie said with concern.
"Impossible. We both double checked it when we installed it. That baby is designed to kick ghost butt whether or not we are here to do it..."Jack said, as he gulped down his tea.
Maddie still looked a bit concerned why they were brought here, but felt her mood lifted when her husband shared some of the crumpets and tea with her, which were indeed delicious.
That is when Eleanor walked into the room, along with Stella.
"Hi, Jack. Hi Maddie..."Eleanor greeted politely, while Stella smiled widely and seemed happy to see them.
"Maddie! Thank you for coming..." Stella greeted, hugging the mother of her daughter's boyfriend and hopefully in the future her son in law, much to her confusion.
"Yes, thank you for joining us..."Eleanor said, and the couple were confused by Stella's presence but notice the injury on the country club president.
"Eleanor, what happened to your wrist?!..."Maddie asked, concerned and confused as Stella let her go.
"Was it a ghost?! Where is it?! I'll tear it apart molecule by molecule!..."Jack said as he pulled out a blaster to make his point.
"Calm down, you two. No need to worry, this was just a little golfing accident...and the result of me trying to show off..."Eleanor said, slightly embarrassed.
Both Fenton parents seemed a bit disappointed that there was no ghost emergency but are also grateful that Eleanor wasn't seriously harmed by a ghost either.
"Oh, well...sorry to hear that. I hope you get better soon". Jack said in sympathy for his friend and at least glad to know that no ghosts got to the club or the golf course again.
"Thank you for your concern..."Eleanor said sincerely, as she ordered her assistant to bring more tea and snacks to her guests.
Jack and Maddie saw the elegant display, though Jack was more impressed by the smell and look of the delicious food and soon started eating some more.
"So, not to be rude...but why did you call us here if it has nothing to do with ghosts?..."Jack asked, as he ate a slice of cake that was brought in for them.
"Actually, it was Maddie who we wanted to ask a favor..."Stella explained.
"A favor?..."Maddie asked, curious.
The two women began to explain why they asked for her to be here and what they need help with.
"Every year, the golden guild holds a special tournament for charity every year. Tennis to be more precise..."Eleanor explained, as she gestured to a trophy shelf that had numerous trophies and pictures of her and Stella together when they were younger or Eleanor and another person.
"And before I left Amity Park, Eleanor and I always team up and we completely dominate the competition. We were even champs for seven years in a row..."Stella said proudly, as she pointed to the last picture that had her and Eleanor winning first prize, which was taken a few years ago.
"Seven years, huh? That's quite impressive..."Jack admitted.
"Thank you..."Both Stella and Eleanor said at the same time, but with different tones in voices, one neutral and one enthusiastic.
"Sadly, it looks like we won't be able to do so again this year because of some bad luck. So, I need someone to serve as a substitute for me in the tournament..."Eleanor explained.
"And that's where you come in, Maddie..."Stella said eagerly, while the blue jumpsuit wearing scientist blinked in confusion.
"Come again?..."Maddie asked, wondering if she heard them right.
"You heard me. I want you to be my partner for a charity tennis tournament. I just know that together, we'll do great in the competition..." Stella repeated in a grandiose way.
"A tennis tournament?..."Both Maddie and Jack said in union.
Stella nodded.
"Yes, this is for charity and as you can see, poor Eleanor won't be able to compete this year..."Stella said, as her friend pointed to her injury.
"That's why we wanted to ask if you would be willing to be Stella's partner during the match, Maddie..."Eleanor asked, and the female ghost hunter seemed at a lost for words.
"But why ask me? Aren't there other members of your club who could help?..."Maddie asked, not getting it.
"Some of our other friends won't be able to compete and Eleanor and I have seen how athletic you are Maddie. I think you're exactly what we are looking for..."Stella said, and Eleanor nodded.
"Stella is right. We need someone to take my place, and we know how fit you are, so we would like to ask you to do it..."Eleanor said.
"I'm flattered that you think that of me, but I haven't played tennis since high school. I barely remembered the basics..."Maddie explained.
"Maddie, you have a black belt in martial arts, and we have seen how you fight ghosts. I'm pretty that I can teach you the basics of tennis easily..."Stella said confidently, thinking that Maddie can relearn everything about tennis without much difficulties.
"I just know that together, we can rip the competition apart molecule by molecule…metaphorically speaking obviously..."The blonde woman added, while the ghost hunters considered this.
"Hmm...on one hand, there's no ghost for us to deal with. But on the other hand, I get to see my wife kick butt in a non-ghost hunting way. I see this as a win..."Jack silently thought about this for a moment as he pictures his wife showing off her athletic skills and how cute she looks in a tennis outfit.
Jack grinned as he thought of her competing in the tournament and showing off her skills like a pro.
"Man, that's hot!..." He mentally added, not minding the non-ghost related favor, especially since it's for charity.
All the while, his wife asked more questions to the two other women.
"Well...can you at least tell my how this charity tennis tournament is going to work?..."Maddie asked.
"Yes. It's very simple. Every team is representing a department in North Mercy hospital, the hospital which the golden guild is going to donate to. Each bracket of the tournament is a donation milestone and such for this good cause. The more you advance, the more money for your department and throughout the tournament, the audience can donate to any department or departments they choose..."Stella explained.
"Some people have already donated the equivalent of the grand prize in advance to make sure their department receives the money. Stella's father sent a donation to the cardiology department and Reginald Loadman made a donation to the ER department and Ida Manson donated to three departments, though mostly in the department that her late husband used to work in ..."Eleanor added, knowing fully well how actual golden guild members could be very generous.
It was very few people in high society who acted like entitled snobs and that made the rest look bad, but the country club president wasn't like that and made sure her fellow Guild members did this for the right reasons.
"Former mayor Montez and his family are also making a donation to and are helping pay for hospital supplies and equipment..."Stella added, smiling.
"True, it's mostly so he can look good to the voters but at least his latest stunt will actually benefit the community..."Eleanor thought, knowing how that former mayor is really like.
"This tournament also includes sponsor companies that used the charity money to help fund other charitable functions related from animal sanctuaries to medical research. It's all meant for a good cause..."Stella added, explaining some of the other charities involved.
Once she was done explaining all the details, Maddie nodded in understanding.
"I suppose it sounds simple enough. And that's very wonderful to hear that North Mercy hospital is getting so much money..."She added.
"I know. That place has just been sitting there, rotting for decades. It's about time we brought it back to life for Amity Park. Healthcare is essential after all..."Eleanor said, sounding quite passionate about this.
"The best part is that the winning team receives a ten-million-dollar donation to be used in the name of the winners preferred department..."Stella said, while Jack nearly chocked on the tea he was drinking.
"Sweet syrup on hot cakes! That's a lot of money!..." Jack exclaimed.
"Yes, it is. All of Amity Park's elites will be there and our goal is to get as many donations as possible and help fund the hospital and other charities as much as possible..."Eleanor explained, knowing how important this is as she always wanted to serve the community as best she could, and the guild members did the same.
"Glad to see not all wealthy people are narcissistic creeps who care only about themselves..."Maddie thought, frowning as she thougnt about a certain mayor she rather not think about.
"Eleanor and I want that prize money to go to a new and improved children's ward. We want to update it with the finest medical equipment and pay for anything the staff will need to give the best treatment and medical research. The best money can buy. Not to mention basically renovating the place up to code..."Stella said, since that place had received a lot of damage since a certain ghost fight between Danny Phantom and those ghosts that one time, or at least that is what Eleanor told her.
"Indeed. This is one of our most important charity events and we stand to help as many people as we can in it..."Eleanor said, as her friend decided to try and use the guilt card to convince Danny's mother to help them.
"Please Maddie, you're the only one I can rely on! Please..." Stella asked, trying not to look desperate as she tried her best to appeal to Maddie's softer side.
The female ghost hunter was still unsure but even Eleanor was sending her a pleading look as well.
"Please, you would really be doing us a favor by doing this. Me especially. You'd be helping many people improve their health by providing funding toward the hospital..."Eleanor said, and the mother of Danny Phantom sighed and thought over this idea.
She is somewhat familiar with tennis, but her skills are rusty, and she wasn't so confident in winning. Even so, this is for charity and Eleanor and Stella were practically begging for her help now.
It made it harder for her to say no, especially since Maddie really did want to do something nice for Amity Park that wasn't just protecting them from ghost attacks.
"Well, it is for a good cause, and I do want to do my part to help the community. Aright, I'll do it..." Maddie agreed, wanting to do her best in helping the less fortunate.
The rich women smiled widely.
"Wonderful!..."Eleanor said.
"Of goody! Thank you, Maddie. You won't regret this, I guarantee it!..."Stella said as she even hugged Maddie, while the female ghost hunter was a little offput by it.
"I sure hope not..."Maddie thought, still unsure about teaming up with Star's mother for this.
She and Stella have been getting along since that dinner incident, but she and the rich blonde woman weren't what she would call best friends. Still, she suppose she could team up with her for this good cause.
"Thank you so much for helping us, Maddie. We really do appreciate this..."Eleanor gratefully said.
"When is this tournament anyway?..."Maddie asked, as Stella released her from her grip.
"This Monday..."Stella said, and Maddie seemed surprised.
"Monday? That doesn't give us a lot of time..."Maddie said, almost concerned but the mother of her son's girlfriend waved it off.
"You'll be fine. We have all weekend to train and with your skills and my love and knowledge of tennis, we'll totally dominate the tournament!..."Stella said brimming with confidence of their chances of winning the tournament while everyone sent her funny looks at what she said.
"And be able to donate a lot for the children's ward of the hospital...but also win..."She added, whispering the last few words quickly under her breath.
Maddie seemed a bit unsure, but her husband seemed happy for her and sent her an encouraging smile.
"You'll be great, Sweet cakes. Oh, I better break out the Fenton tennis racket and get it ready for your big game..."Jack said as he wanted to give her moral support, but what he said caused the women to raise a brow.
"How can a tennis racket be used to hunt ghosts?..."Stella asked, not getting it and even Eleanor seemed confused.
"Actually...it's a regular tennis racket..."Maddie explained.
"But it's a tennis racket with the name Fenton on it..."Jack said proudly.
"Oh, okay then..."Stella said, seeing this as just another Fenton family quirk of theirs. "It must be a Fenton thing..."Stella thought, trying her best not to overthink it.
Maddie shrugged and her husband kept trying to be encouraging and in Maddie's corner.
"This is going to be great, Mads. You're going to kick major butt and win the entire thing..."Jack declared, confident she'd win the promised 10-million-dollar donation for the hospital.
"I like that attitude. We'll win for sure..."Eleanor said and Stella grinned widely.
"As the kids would say nowadays, we totes have this tournament in the bag!..."She said, seeing an easy victory, a huge donation to the hospital and ANOTHER trophy to take home.
"Yeah, you two ladies will certainly slam dunk this tennis tournament in a cinch..."Jack said, not quite understanding how tennis is won, or the teen slang works.
"Jack, it's a tennis tournament...not basketball..."Stella corrected before smiling. "And you're right, it's going to be a cinch..."She added, excited.
"I'll certainly do my best..."Maddie said, and the blonde woman suddenly beamed, looking very excited.
"Great! We should practice right away so we can be in sync..." Stella said, grabbing Maddie and pulling her along.
"Actually Stella, it's getting late, and I need to get home to get started on dinner. Any chance we can do this tomorrow?..."Maddie said, seeing the time and still needing some time to process what she just agreed to.
"I..."Stella wanted to argue but a look from Eleanor silenced her and she sighed.
"Fine. I'll pick you up at your house tomorrow morning and bring you back here and we'll spend as much time as we need to until you're ready for the tournament..."Stella offered, as Jack practically finished all the crumpets and tea that were offered earlier.
"Fine, that works for me just fine. See you tomorrow, Stella..."Maddie said, unaware that soon, she would regret those very words she just said.
As Stella left with Maddie to talk plans on when they were going to train and Jack took the last of the scones with him, Eleanor stepped out the country club to get some air
"At least we have a chance to both keep our winning streak and make sure that prize money is put to good use..."She thought, as she wondered how this will all play out later.
Overall, she was just glad they even had a chance to enter the tournament this year and had a chance to help out. The dark-haired woman then went to finish some last-minute work and packed up to go home. However, someone spotted her and decided to bug her.
"Oh, Eleanor!..."An annoyingly perky voice was heard.
The country club president's smile turned into a frown; her good mood gone now.
"Pamela? What are you doing here? I told you that I won't renew your membership, and the Golden Guild is all about CHARITY! Not whatever snob club you conjured up in your mind!..."Eleanor said, irritated to see her.
"Oh, don't misunderstand, Madame president. I'm not here about that. I just needed to talk to you..."Pamela said with an unnaturally large smile on her face.
"Then make it quick, I am a very busy woman..."Eleanor said impatiently.
Pamela just sent her an overdramatic and exaggerated concerning look, like a bad actress that was hamming it up.
"Oh, I heard the terrible news that you hurt your wrist and won't be able to compete in the tournament this year. How awful!..."Pamela said with a lot of heavy sympathy that was no way at all genuine.
"I see that gossip travels as fast as ever..."The country club president thought.
"Thanks for the concern but it's just a sprain. No need to worry, it'll heal in a few weeks..."Eleanor said, sounding more neutral than a computer.
Pamela was a bit put off by this unfeeling response but continued the conversation regardless.
"That's a relief to know. Anyway...I heard that you won't be able to compete this year and Stella might have to forfeit. How awful. Perhaps...I can be of any assistance..."Pamela said with an innocent looking smile on her face, but Eleanor already knew what this is about.
"Let me guess...you want to offer to take my place in the tournament with Stella...presumably so that I'll revoke you being banned, am I right?..."Eleanor accurately guessed, seeing right through her.
"After all, why else would Miss I'm-too-good-to-do-volunteer-work want to join unless she got something out of it?..."The country club president thought, not impressed at all as the red haired woman tried to deny this accusation.
"Oh, Eleanor. The thought never even occurred to me..."Pamela said in a dramatic fashion before she immediately returning to the topic at hand.
"But if you were thinking that I would be more than happy to have you let me and Jeremy back into the club after I help win the tournament..."She said, not doing a good job at hiding her intentions.
"What a phony..."Eleanor thought, deciding now to burst her bubble.
"Thank you, but your help won't be necessary, Pamela. Stella and I already found a substitute and it was actually Stella's idea to ask her in the first place and I consider ourselves lucky that she accepted..."The country club president said, smirking internally as she watched the annoying woman's jaw drop.
'What? So soon? Who?!..."Pamela said, wondering who they chose over her
"Oh, a wonderful woman who Stella is very confident will help her win first place and give that huge donation to the hospital. Maddie Fenton..."Eleanor said with a smirk, and Pamela's jaw dropped even lower and actually was rendered speechless for a moment.
"I have to get home now. I have dinner plans with my family, and I'd also like to get some rest to help my sprained wrist heal a bit quicker. And don't forget, you're still not allowed on my club's property. So, I will give you ten minutes to leave the premises before I order Charles call security if you aren't gone by then..."Eleanor said as she went to her limo and her driver drove her home, leaving the flabbergasted Manson woman behind.
Inside her limo, Eleanor let out a sigh of relief.
"Maddie agreeing to take my place happened is perfect timing. I'd rather risk losing than have someone like Pamela take my place..."She thought, hoping that that was the end of it.
She also knew how...determined...Stella could get away winning and she really did hope that Maddie will stick around for the whole tennis tournament.
The country club owner merely shrugged.
"Eh...Maddie is a tough woman and I'm sure she can handle Stella for a few days. Either way, I'm sure it will be an interesting tournament. And at least I don't have that brown nosing Pamela bugging me to give her a shot now..."She thought as her driver took her home.
Present Time
"Mom...I'm so embarrassed!..."Sam complained, recalling how she came back home that day complaining nonstop.
"I am assuming that your mom wasn't happy that her plan to bargain with Eleanor to get her back into the club failed, huh?..."Val guessed.
"Understatement of the year. When she came back home, she wouldn't stop yelling and whining. She ever said something about Danny's Mom stealing her thunder or whatever. It was so stupid..."Sam grumbled.
"On a scale of one to ten? How overboard did they go? One as in trying to get chocolate milk banned when we were in kindergarten and ten being your strange delinquent friends are leading you down a path of being a delinquent?..."Tucker asked, while Sam held up five fingers.
"Five..."She muttered bitterly, and her two oldest friends knew what that meant.
"Ah, trying to get the school board to adopt a prep school uniform for every school in the district..."Danny answered, since her parents lead that protest group but failed since none of the other parents neither wanted nor could afford the kind of dress code they had in mind.
Val and Star blinked upon hearing that.
"That was your parents?..."Val asked, surprised.
"Unfortunately..."Sam said bitterly while Star was surprised to hear this since it happened before she moved to Amity Park.
"Ok...I mean...I know that Sam sometimes goes overboard with her causes s but she's nothing compared to her parents..."Val commented, since her parents were on a completely different level.
"They seriously had an issue with chocolate milk of all things? Why?..."Star asked, not understanding.
"They apparently were going through a health kick at the time and didn't want any sugar "hurting their precious baby". Their words, not mine..."Sam said bitterly, having a gag feeling whenever she remembered it.
"Geez, that explains a lot...do they really wonder how their kid turned into a goth?..."Star asked, joking but her jaw dropped when the original three nodded
"Seriously, I was kidding..."The blonde girl went.
"I wasn't. Apparently, anything that isn't as shallow and peppy as they are...or goes against whatever trend they obsess over at the time, and they deem it as an insult to their perky happy Sunny shiny ways. They are the reason I hate pink and anything floral print, so is it really any wonder I like being a goth since it's the opposite of them?..."Sam muttered, arms crossed and sounding bitter again.
"Poor Sam..."Danny thought in sympathy and the goth girl sighed.
"I don't want to talk about them, but we need the context..."Sam said, rolling her eyes.
"I'm guessing there's a story on your part too, am I right?..."Tucker asked
"That's one way to describe it. I guess it's my turn..."Sam muttered, as she explained how that incident went.
Story
Sam had just arrived home.
She had finished school and a meeting with her environmentalist group.
"So far, so good. Just got to make a few more picket signs and we'll be ready to protest the construction of Vlad's latest environmental nightmare of a new parking lot, as well as that new building and his plans to add a new oil refinery in no time. I swear it's like he wants to provoke Undergrowth to come back here..."Sam thought, already thinking of new things she can put on a picket sign when she heard a door open and loudly slammed.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!..."Pamela's voice echoed angrily.
Sam heard this and sighed.
"Uh oh. I haven't heard her yell that loud since Eleanor kicked her and dad out of the club..."Sam said, wanting to leave before she became involved with her parents' drama.
This was going to be a headache. Sam just knew it.
Unfortunately, luck wasn't on her side and her mom and dad both were in full crazy mode as soon as he entered the room and the goth girl was unfortunate enough to hear them discussing about what had just happened at the country club.
"Honey, what happened? Did Eleanor agree to our terms?..."Jeremy asked, hopefully.
"Does it LOOK like that's what happened?..."Pamela snapped, furious. "You will not believe what just happened to me..."She yelled as she began to tell him about her problems.
She spent the next five minutes ranting and complaining about what happened at the country club between Eleanor and the rich redhaired woman. Pamela recalled and explained every single detail of what had happened during her recent visit to the County Club, especially the last part.
The part where Pamela Manson was overlooked in favor of Maddie Fenton of all people.
"How could they?! Choosing Maddie Fenton over me as Stella's temporary replacement. Has the world gone mad?!..." Pamela asked in outrage, as she kept complaining about the Fenton matriarch being more accepted in high society than her and how "unfair" it all was.
"Honestly, you shouldn't be surprised anymore that Eleanor likes the Fentons better than us...even if it still makes no sense..." Jeremy commented, while his daughter rolled her eyes.
"You two are the only ones who think that..."She thought, while her grandmother couldn't help but make comments.
"The real wonder is you being interested on playing tennis. You hate physical activity..."Ida said, since she knew Pamela always avoided anything that might mess up her hair or risk breaking a nail.
"I hate it, but I love rubbing shoulders with socialites like Stella Bevier. Not to mention that entering a charity tournament could be our ticket to join the Golden Guild..." Pamela replied.
"Organizing your own charity event would give you better chances..." Sam muttered.
"Don't give them ideas, bubeleh..." Ida said, while her son waved off his daughter's idea.
"Too expensive. The Golden Guild isn't worth it..."Jeremy said stubbornly and unaware that his mother already made a huge donation.
"But it's worth entering the tournament..." Pamela replied, before turning to her daughter.
"Sammy-kins, do you want to join with me? I need a teammate. I want to show Stella and Eleanor they made a big mistake by choosing Maddie over me the hard way by winning the whole thing and I pick how the grand prize will be spent on the hospital..."She said, arms crossed and making her intentions clear.
Her daughter rolled her eyes at that immature display from her own mother.
"As much as I'd love the thought of entering a charity event and I support the cause, I'd rather play with someone else than with you or him..." Sam replied while pointing at Jeremy. "I'm not even sure minors may enter to begin with..."She added.
Besides, knowing the kind of person her mother is, she'd care more about the hospital looks or installing something pointless like a spa instead of spending the money on actual MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. So, it's probably best that the prize money be given to someone who actually has more common sense and who'd spend it on something that is actually needed.
Pamela looked like she was about to complain, but then recalled that this tournament wasn't for kids, so her daughter really couldn't compete even if she wanted to.
"Ida, what about you?..." Pamela asked as she turned to her mother-in-law, who just scoffed.
"At my age?..." Ida asked. "Forget it. In case you forgot, I don't exactly ride this scooter because I find it fun..."The old lady reminded.
"Oh...right. Well, I'm sure that there is someone I know who'd be happy to be my partner..."She said, trying to think of something.
"Let's see...Helen...no...Marjorie is-...no, she's going to be busy too...Mildred?...No..."Pamela wondered out loud as she tried to think of a "friend" of hers that she could use as a partner for the tournament.
"Why didn't you ask me first?..." Jeremy asked in indignation. "Do you think I can't do better than my mother?..."Her husband asked, and his wife sent him a flat look.
"Yes..." Pamela answered in a rather blunt way.
Her husband's pride seemed hurt by that and he wanted to prove her wrong.
"I'll show you..." Jeremy replied. "Let's practice..."He said as he went to go find a tennis racket to go practice outside.
"Is she playing reverse psychology?..." Sam asked after her parents left.
"Beats me." Ida answered.
"But it wouldn't surprise me if she did..."Ida thought, having remembered what her son Jeremy and Pamela were like when they were younger.
She shrugged, not really caring to be honest.
"I already made a donation for the departments your pops used to work in. Let them do their own thing, bubeleh..."Ida said.
Sam nodded
"Fine. Besides, Mom is dreaming if she thinks she has any chance to win when she hardly does anything that counts as exercise. Still, maybe doing this might at least teach them something about charity and contributing to society..."Sam sai in a semi-hopeful way, while her grandmother sent her a look.
"Do you actually think that can happen?..."Ida asked flatly and Sam sighed.
"No. But there is always a first..."Sam said, as her grandmother nodded in agreement, as they left to go do their own thing and not pay attention to Sam's parents attempts at making bigger foods of themselves.
Again.
Present Time
"Seriously? You're mom wanted to compete just to get back at Star's mom and Eleanor for not picking her as her partner for the tournament?..."Val asked, finding it petty.
"Believe me, whatever you are thinking...I know. The only reason I haven't left yet is because I'm still a minor and also because of grandma..."Sam said, as she dragged a hand down her face in exasperation and shame.
No one could blame Sam. After the Psycholette fiasco and how her parents acted during that week, it was hard NOT to see why she had pretty much ditched them in all but name, cause of what they did first.
"And get this, Grandma says that the only reason she hasn't signed over the lake house to me yet is because I'm still a kid. So much for their plans to add it to the country club they wanted to start..."Sam said.
"So, when you turn 18...you go from being technically Dani's landlady to her actual landlady?..." Tucker pointed out
"Pretty much..."Sam said with a nod, but she didn't want to talk about her family issues right now.
So, now it was Danny's turn to continue with the story.
"The whole issues with our moms was kind of crazy but it was nothing compared to what Walker was up to. I heard about this from a certain ghost we know and let's just say he had a lot to talk about..."Danny said, as he continued to tell more about the story before he explained who it was that informed him.
Story
In The Ghost Zone
Kitty, Spectra and Johnny had just been tossed into the ghost zone and they were all in a bad mood.
"Darn it, I can't believe that punk got us again!..."Johnny complained.
"Useless bum! You're the reason we're here! If you and your shadow hadn't gotten caught the halfway through, none of us would be here floating around here right now!..."Spectra said harshly, while Kitty glared at her.
"Hey, it's not Johnny's fault that Danny and Star kicked your butt again because you can't resist messing with Phantom and his girlfriend and couldn't pay attention during the fight..."Kitty criticized, since Spectra's paln was half baked to begin with.
"Shut up, I'm in a bad enough mood as it is! And believe me, neither of you want to see how dangerous I can be whenever I'm in a REALLY bad mood!..."Spectra snapped, eyes glowing red as a threat.
She then groaned, hating this.
"Unbelievable. I could be anywhere but here right now but no. I got to spend my Friday night stuck here in this dump!..."Spectra said, in a bad mood.
"Not only was I not able to make any stupid teens miserable to retain my good looks and power...but I didn't even get a chance to see that stupid blonde's brat admittable handsome father again..."Spectra said with a forlorn sigh.
Johnny and Kitty sent her a look.
"Okay, I'm just going to flat out ask. Do you actually like the guy, or do you just say it since you know it will bug Phantom's girl?..."Johnny asked.
Spectra frowned.
"Not EVERYTHING I do is just to make those brats miserable; ya know! If I actually happen to like someone, I do want a chance to have a relationship. Regardless of my reputation as the ghostly villainess that I am, I'm still a woman and I want some eye candy and to spend my weekends with someone OTHER than my gal pals!..."The misery loving ghoul explained, while the other ghosts sent her looks.
"Plus, he's got my top two qualities I look for a man...good looking and rich. Him having a whiny teenage brat I can make miserable is just icing on the delicious cake..."Spectra said, grinning as she imagined getting showered in both money and love while being on a hot rich lawyer's arm, as well as finding another source of misery.
She sighed as she looked both sinister and even a bit gushy as she thought about Star father Johnathan Strong. Meanwhile, Johnny and Kitty sent her strange looks, and of disapproval too at what she just said she planned to do to Star.
"What are you, Cinderella's stepmom?..."Kitty asked, frowning.
"Oh please, I look WAY better than her and you know it..."Spectra said, not getting what she meant.
"No, I don't..."Johnny snarked. "Even Phantom's sister is better looking than you..."He muttered under his breath, while Kitty elbowed him for that.
"But Kitty is even more so. But that's expected from someone even hotter than any girl out there..."Johnny said quickly, making her smile.
"Better..." Kitty said, and Spectra was already annoyed.
"You two are a disgrace to evil, you know that! We're supposed to be bad..."She snapped at them, already irritated.
"Not really. We're just doing whatever we want, like you. Besides, with how you just talked about Star's dad just now... you almost sound like that bridezilla ghost..." Kitty asked, as Spectra slightly shivered at being reminded of that certain ghoul.
"I do not! And NEVER compare me to that nutcase of ghoul, I'm absolutely nothing like her!..." Spectra said, not wanting to be thought as anything remotely similar to Helena the Bridezilla ghost.
"Sure, you're not..."Both Johnny and Kitty sarcastically said, angering Spectra even more than before.
"If I were you, I'd drop the subject before I lost what LITTLE patience I have left!..."Spectra snapped, her mood getting worse now as her claws curled bloodthirstily.
"You don't want to be around me when I'm angry. And I happen to be a million times better looking than Helena and don't you forget it..."The shadowy ghoul added, while Kitty rolled her eyes.
"At least her looks aren't fake...even if her personality is a total nightmare..."Johnny couldn't help but commented in his mind as the ghouls started to bicker.
Before they could continue arguing, the sounds of sirens were heard and they panicked.
"Oh man, I don't like the sound of that!..."Johnny said, as his shadow got scared and hid inside his ring to avoid the flashing brighter from the source of the sirens.
Suddenly a ghostly patrol car appeared and many of Walker's goons appeared. Suddenly all three ghosts were supposed ghost patrol guards and were each being apprehended by a lot of them, much to their shock and outrage.
"Hey, unhand me!..."Spectra snarled but the ghost guards continue to try and detain them.
"What the heck?! Let go of me, you creeps!..."Kitty shouted as she tried to blow her teleporting kisses, but they had her restrained before she had a chance to.
"Hey, hands off my girl!..."Johnny snapped and tried to send shadow to attack them but was caught by the ghost cops and restrained.
"You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of ghost law..." one of the Ghost guards said.
"We don't have courts here! Now let go of me or I'll make you both regret it!..." Kitty shouted.
"Just wait till Walker hears that, kid. A civilian resisting an officer's orders. He'll love it..." A different ghost guard said, knowing what that actually meant.
"I heard that jerk! Stay away from my girl or I'm gonna-..." Johnny shouted before getting knocked out by a random ghost guard.
"Is this everyone, Booker? Or do we need more?..." Another random ghost guard asked Booker.
"I guess this is enough people in the paddy wagon for now. Let's just take them and leave..."Booker responded, satisfied with the result.
"Johnny!..." Kitty yelled out of concern for her boyfriend's wellbeing, as she started to fight back against the ghost guard detaining her.
"Somebody give me a hand over here! She's definitely stronger than she looks!..." The ghost guard holding Kitty back said.
"You need to watch out for everyone in the Ghost Zone! I'm going to rip you in half!..."Spectra snarled, as her would-be nappers quaked in fear from her slashing claws.
Kitty kicked high into the ghost guard's chin, allowing her to slip through his fingers. She flew towards the unconscious Johnny 13 in attempt to flee safely.
If it were not for the nets shot at them, all three might have escaped.
"What the heck?!..."They all exclaimed.
Soon, the three ghosts were forced into the ghostly paddy wagon and the door was locked.
"What the heck is all this?!..."Kitty shouted as they were locked up and tried to break down the door but couldn't.
"I didn't do it, man! I can't go back to the slammer! The food there was just awful!..."Johnny complained.
"Is that really your biggest concern right now?!..." Spectra angrily asked, as the biker ghost started to freak out.
"Let me out! I want a lawyer! I want a phone call! I want a tunnel dug by spoons!..."Johnny said in a panic, as he tried to get out but to no avail.
Kitty tried to calm him down, while Spectra rolled her eyes.
"Seriously? What does she see in him?..."She thought in annoyance, knowing this is going to be a long car ride.
Later
Spectra, Johnny and Kitty were forced inside the prison and dragged inside by the so-called ghostly policemen, much to their anger and dismay.
"Hey, paws off! I didn't do nothing!..."Johnny complained as he was dragged inside.
"Anything. You didn't do anything, Johnny..."Kitty corrected.
"Yeah, what she said!..."Johnny said, not realizing Kitty was trying to correct his grammar.
Spectra rolled her eyes.
"I'm surrounded by idiots..."She muttered, rolling her eyes.
They were soon tossed into a room, but it wasn't a prison cell, which seemed much more suspicious to the ghostly trio, especially since they weren't behind bars yet.
"What the heck? Is this place a lawyer's office or something?..."Johnny said, wondering why they were brought here.
"The one time I actually need a lawyer at my side and there's not one in sight..." Spectra muttered, while Kitty held onto her boyfriend for safety.
"You guys too?..."Was heard and they turned around.
They soon saw that they were not the only ones here.
They saw Skulker, Technus, The Lunch Lady, Box Ghost, Desiree, Bertrand, Youngblood, Prince Aragon (who was wearing chains for some reason), Undergrowth and Nocturn.
"What is the meaning of this?!..."Desiree shouted furiously, as she eyed everyone in the room with great suspicion.
She was angry due to having been dragged out from her own realm, and she wasn't the only one.
"Silence woman! It's bad enough I was prisoner in my own dungeon but now I'm a prisoner in this place! I am being forced to suffer the indignity of having to share an imprisonment with the likes of such worthless peasants. Not to mention, with even less worthless women!..."Aragon shouted, still chained up and is already the most hated amongst all the female ghosts in the room.
He yelped when Spectra sent a blast, hitting him square in the jaw.
"Who are you calling worthless, loser?..."Spectra snarled, while other ghosts tried to figure out what was going on here.
"Which one of you backstabbers is in cahoots with Walker in this little charade?!..."Skulker said as he used a missile, trying to get a confession out of the other through his intimidation.
Which didn't work, since most of the ghosts in the room were fairly familiar with Skulker at this point of their afterlives and none of them had any idea what was going on here.
"Oh, please. Like anyone would just answer you, Metal for brains!..."Spectra said, since this is definitely NOT how she wanted to spend her Friday night.
Ectoplasm would spill the moment she got free; she would make sure of that.
All the while, the other ghosts were getting angry and agitated to say the least.
"Someone get me out of here! I didn't even do anything!..."Bertrand whined, hating being here while Spectra rolled her eyes at his pathetic state.
"When I get my hands on Walker, your pelt will hang on my mantle!..."Skulker said furiously, since he was now missing his favorite show on TV and was still angry at being dragged out of his own home.
The other ghosts were voicing their outrage, but it was cut short when they heard someone approach the door. Just then another person was tossed inside by the guards, and they were not happy about it.
It was Ember Mclain.
"Hey, hands on my guitar!..."Ember yelled, trying to grab it and Ember kicked him in the gut.
They responded by using their weapons on her, briefly subduing the ghostly diva and she was on the ground now.
"Ember!..."Spectra and Kitty both shouted, as their friend as they went check on her.
The guard just discarded her guitar, not caring as he left the room. Her friends walked over to her to check if she was alright. Ember was fine and quickly recovered. She quickly checked her musical instrument for any damages.
Thankfully there weren't any, much to her relief. However, she got angry again and started to complain and demanded answers.
"Why the heck am I here?! Why are all of us here?!..."Ember demanded, as she looked around.
"I wish I knew. I was minding my own business, and I was in the middle of upgrading one of my spare suits for my next hunt of the young Halfa. But I was unceremoniously ambushed, and these fools drag me here. This is an outrage! I still have to hunt that whelp today and make him pay for all the trouble he's caused me!..."Her ex, Skulker said, looking angry.
"I wasn't even planning on doing anything nefarious this week. Come to think of it, I've barely done any villainous stuff for quite a while these past few months..."Technus said, not understanding why he was brought here.
"And I was busy playing my brand-new game that I got from the human world, and I nearly beat the middle boss too before I was dragged here..."Youngblood whined, being a bit hooked on video games now.
Other ghosts were getting angry and even more confused now.
"I will use this Walker as fertilizer for this! How dare he drag me away from my garden to this glorified cage?!..."Undergrowth snarled, while Nocturn was brooding.
"You'll have to wait until after I subject him to the worst nightmare that I can create!..."Nocturn added, just as angry as he is.
"Wait...how the heck did Walker grab you guys?..."Ember asked, confused since these guys are some of the strongest ghosts in the zone.
"My last battle with the ghost child left me weak..."Nocturn said, frowning bitterly as he recalled that battle.
"The same. After I deal with that fool Walker, the ghost powered fleshing will suffer for this indignity..."Undergrowth snarled, his eyes glowing red.
"The ghost boy is mine to destroy, for I am the box ghost, will destroy him and get my revenge!..."Box Ghost said obnoxiously, irritating all ghosts except one
"Now Boxy, settle down. We'll have our vengeance later as we crush these guards on the way out..."Lunch lady said sweetly, making him smile while the other ghost were grossed out and others kept ranting about other things.
Such as who would get revenge on the ghost kid after they deal with Walker.
"You're all wrong for I Technus will destroy the ghost child after I deal Walker! And I, Technus, master of all technology, was in the middle of watching my stories when those brutes broke into my realm and dragged me here. But once I get out of here, then I will go after that punk Phantom and really show him who's the evilest and grooviest ghost of all time!..."Technus said, getting on the other's nerves.
"Shut up already! You shout your name almost as much as the Box ghost does!..."Desiree snapped, annoyed.
"Who cares about Danny stinking phantom?! I want out of here. I'm missing my favorite cartoons!..."Youngblood whined, while his assistant was trying to find an escape.
"I demanded to know what's going on here!..."Kitty shouted, as she stomped her heeled shoe on the ground and looking ready to snap at any moment.
"Oh, don't worry everyone. I'll explain everything..."Walker's voice was heard.
The ghosts turned to see a certain evil warden who grinned maliciously as he made his entrance through the opened door and had it shut behind him.
"Walker?! What's the meaning of this?! What business do you have with of us that's so important, that you had to interrupted us during our down time?!..."Skulker said in anger, thinking he was planning on imprisoning them again.
"I'm not going to let you lock me up again!..."Desiree said, ready to use her magic to vaporize him but the evil warden smirked and thought fast.
"I wish you would not blast me and instead blast the Observants recording device and make it seem like it was just a technical glitch!..."Walker said quickly, smirking as the wish was granted.
"So, you have wished it so it shall be..." Desiree intoned, and her magic just did that.
Walker smirked as the security cameras were no longer functional, while the genie ghost seemed more confused than ever now.
"Wait...why did I grant that wish?..."She asked out loud, as the evil warden smirked as his plan was going perfectly.
The other ghosts sent the evil warden angry and threatening glares, about to attack but Walker then raised his hands up in a surrendering gesture, which shocked everyone in the room.
"Relax everyone. This isn't an arrest...at least not officially...though that may come later...unless you all cooperate..."Walker said, sounding calm yet threatening to some but many.
The other ghosts sent him dirty looks.
"What do you want, Walker? I haven't broken any of your actual rules..."Ember said, glaring at him.
Knowing how he normally is, she knew that he definitely wants something out of all of the ghosts here. The evil warden gave a small smirk in response as he decided to spell it out for them.
"Simple. You all have been summoned for jury duty..."Walker revealed.
Everyone was silent now, blinking confused and completely caught off guard by this answer.
"Uh...what?..."Ember asked, wondering if she heard that right.
"You're not serious, are you?..."Spectra demanded, wondering if he was joking.
"I am. There is going to be an upcoming trial for that punk Danny Phantom and I need a minimum of 12 people...or ghosts in this case, to serve as my jury. And you're a jury of his peers..."Walker said, as if that explained everything.
Everyone else immediately became wary of the control freaky warden.
"What?!..."All the other ghosts exclaimed as the evil warden sent them faux cheerful look and mockingly clapped his hands.
"Congratulations. You all have been chose to be my jury and make sure the punk gets what he deserves..." Walker said, sounding a bit pleased with himself.
"Which will be a hundred millenniums in the deepest dark pit in my prison if you all do what I say for the good of your fellow ghost community..."He told them.
"The ghost zone uses the jury system?..."Ember asked, since this is the first time she heard of this.
"It's in the rules..."Walker said as if it was obvious.
"Since when do you use trials or even have juries?! I thought you were the judge, jury and executioner!..."Skulker demanded, still angry about the time he imprisoned him.
"Yeah, you just captured us and tossed us in a cell after you read some nonsensical rules and threw away the key just because you saw us do something you don't approve of..."Technus said, also angry but Walker waved it off.
"It's a new policy. One that's as old as Pariah Dark himself and has been re-introduced under the Observants approval. Something that has been LONG overdue..."Walker said, sounding suspiciously genuine. "Besides, isn't it obvious that the jury system would be a thing?..."He said, condescendingly yet calm tone.
"No, it isn't. Do you know how many different legal systems have existed through history? How are we supposed to know which one is the one the people in power use IN THR GHOST ZONE?!..." Ember stated.
"You know she has a point, Sir..."One of the guards said, only to be silence by an annoyed glare from his boss.
"Irrelevant. This new policy to the Ghost Zone is a benefit to its community and the rules say I need a jury in order to properly punish that punk and you all are the closest I can get...Walker said, once again surprising the ghosts in the room.
Now his so-called jury kept arguing and asking questions.
"And we qualify?..." Aragon asked, still handcuffed and chained and being hatefully glared at by all women ghost in the room.
"You all do...especially since we all share one thing in common..."Walker said.
"Which is?..."Johnny asked.
"We all want to get back at that punk. Unfortunately for me, I can't get near him due to the list the Observants put him on. That's where all of you come in. You all have enough history with the ghost punk to be considered his peers. We trial him, convince the Observants he is better up locked us as my prisoner...and make sure he never gets to see the light of day again..."Walker said, grinning darkly while the other ghosts listened to this.
Some were curious and others weren't sure how to respond to this offer. And one in particular was just whining nonstop.
"How does any of us qualify? I'm royalty, not a peer of phantom or a useless commoner like the rest of you all..."Aragon said as he still saw himself as superior to everyone else, but couldn't do much since he was still chained up and Walker didn't feel the need to unchain him.
"Do you know who Danny Phantom is and hate that punk?..."Walker asked flatly.
"Yes, he ruined my plan to have a human bride he clearly gave me a defective one! The same one who convinced my idiotic sister to steal my throne and imprisoned me in my own dungeon!..."Aragon snapped, so angry that he would have transformed had he had his amulet.
"Then you qualify..." Walker answered, before frowning. "In the loosest sense of the term..." He thought to himself.
"Uh, is no one going to talk about him kidnapping a girl?..." Kitty asked while Johnny stood protectively in front of her like a good boyfriend.
"What if we don't want to be your jury, huh? I don't like the punk, but I like him better than you..." Johnny demanded to know.
"Then I practice my role as executioner, and I really like that part of the job..."Walker threatened, while glaring down at the greasy haired biker.
"He's bluffing. The observants are keeping a closer eye on him now and won't let him waste someone without a good reason..."Youngblood challenged, sounding annoyingly confident with this knowledge.
Walker frowned, unable to believe that he was called out like this or that this annoying little brat is actually right.
"This brat is too smart for his own good. This is why I never had kids. They never shut up!..."He thought in anger, barely repressing his rage.
However, the warden's thoughts were interrupted by another ghost speaking up.
"How do you know that?..." Skulker asked.
"Spirit of youth, duh. How can I break the rules if I don't know them?..." Youngblood answered, while Walker made mental plans about locking this brat up next after the half ghost punk.
"Unbelievable. Fine, whatever. So, anyway, you guys are gonna serve as my jury..."Walker said, finding it hard to believe they were reluctant to serve as his jury for this plan.
However, more ghosts resisted his orders.
"I won't do it. How can I hunt that whelp if he's already locked in a cell and away from my sights! There is no challenge or glory in hunting a creature that's locked behind a small cage!..."Skulker shouted, while Ember rolled her eyes at his one-track mind.
"Help me get Phantom off the list, and I'll forget your records and you guys will never have to deal with me again..."Walker said, getting the ghosts attention.
"What does that mean?..."Spectra asked suspiciously.
"Don't forget, you all have charges as well for your own rule breaking...charges that can be overlooked in the right circumstances. If you all agree to give Phantom what he deserves...the original charges will be dropped, and I won't bother you all about them again...and you'll all get front row seats to me arresting that punk...and a chance to join in on deciding his...sentence..."Walker said, intriguing the villains.
This got all the ghosts thinking about how this might benefit themselves respectively and they began to change their tune about this jury duty.
"AT LAST, A CHANCE TO GET MY CARDBOARD VENGENCE ON THAT GHOST KID! OUR FINAL SHOWDOWN IS NEAR!..."Box ghost yelled in a hammy way.
"Sounds lovely. WE WILL SEE HIM GET HIS JUST DESSERTS!..."Lunch lady said, going from "sweet" to vicious in an instant at the thought of making that brat suffer.
"I agree. I shall grant your desire of me serving jury duty and I will get that brat out of my hair for good!..."Desiree said, as she considered this.
"Hmm...well, I suppose this jury duty will benefit me in some small way. Fine, I'll accept. Now, let's get the brat..."Spectra said, smirking darkly as the other others began to agree and look eager for a chance at payback.
"We'll take the job!..."They all said as they accepted the job offer, grinning and eager for revenge and for the offer of Walker staying out of their respective business afterwards.
"That's what I wanted to hear..."Walker said, smirking darkly as he explained to them what they would have to do during the trial and how to do it.
Ember said nothing as she watched all of this with mild interest, the rest of Danny's rogue's gallery grinning maliciously and were actually looking forward to this arrangement.
She gave this rare favor from Walker some serious thought than the pop diva realized that could be a rare opportunity for some real fun to come out of this rare event
"This should be good..."The diva thought, as she and her fellow ghosts began to get ready for "jury duty".
All the while, the ghost warden smirked darkly as these ghosts agreed to his terms.
Walker finally had a jury's worth of Danny's worst enemies...and the box ghost here...all ready to judge that punk and give them the sentence he deserves, as they should.
"We're almost there. Just a few more thing to hammer out and then you'll get what you deserve punk..."He thought darkly, silent excitement of everything going according to his plan.
Present Time
Before Danny and the others could continue, Valerie gasped in a panic and quickly hid under the table.
'What's wrong, Val?..."Star asked, wondering what is up with her friend.
"It's Nathan! I'm not here!..."Val said as she kept hiding.
"Valerie, is that you?!..."Nathan, holding a large bouquet of roses shouted, having spotted her.
"Darn it, not again!..."Val said as she fled.
'VALERIE! COME BACK! WHY WON'T YOU SAY YES!?..."Nathan shouted as he went after her to beg her to be his prom date.
Star and the others saw this and frowned.
"I can't believe he still won't give up! This is getting ridiculous! You'd think he'd take the obvious hint by now!..."Star said, angry on her friend's behalf as she got up.
She wasn't the only one as Tucker also got up, looking mad too.
"Where are you guys going?..."Danny asked.
"To help Val, duh. If there is one thing I hate, it's a guy who doesn't take 'no' for an answer!..."Star said as she went to have a word with Nathan.
"Yeah. No way I'm going to let him keep bugging her..."Tucker said as he ran to go help Valerie, also angry at Nathan for bothering her.
The rest of Team Phantom noticed that Star had cracked both of her knuckles when she said "have a word with Nathan" and Tucker looked angry enough to break something right now. It worried Danny and the rest who saw that.
"We should help..."Danny said as he followed his girlfriend and best friend.
"Yeah, before something happens that will get the cops involved..."Sam said as she got up to help them both deal with Nathan and make sure nothing would happen that would get THEM in trouble too.

REPLIES to my loyal and totally awesome reviewer:
Luiz4200: Well, even Pamela doesn't think Jeremy has a chance at winning.
RonaldM40196867:
1) Maybe.
2) I probably would have liked to use Julie Yamamoto, Trixie Carter, Operetta, Clover from Totally Spies, Marlowe, Techna, Princess Diaspro, Frieda Goren, Sha Shan Nguyen from The Spectacular Spider-Man and Serenity Zilla for Many Dates.
Invader Johnny: Thank you :)
Danifan3000:
1) Yeah, while Bertrand is a terrible person, I guess he could do SLIGHTLY better than Spectra.
2) She probably either made a deal with Desiree or found a way to reverse the effects on her own.
Luffy is king: Johnnathan already agreed to be Danny's family lawyer since "Bonding". This story was basically inspired by the Batman episode "The Trial".
Rock1030: Yeah.
JDF Legacier Morphicon: Thank you :)
Here are my responses to your questions:
1) Not really.
2) No.
3) Georgia usually makes her lunch.
