BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP-

The annoying sound of the alarm woke up Jim, who grabbed the magazine on his face to pull it off, and slowly blinked the tiredness out of his eyes. He gasped in shock and immediately sat up as he realized that it had worked! He was back in the past, and nothing had went wrong!

Nothing?

Only then he noticed that he felt way taller, and bulkier than he had been as a human, and for the first time looked at his fingers. Only four of them... Jim sprang up from his bed in panic. How? He had been human at this time, and he had time travelled as a human, so why was he back in his half troll form?! Oh.. this was going to be a massive problem for the boy. His jaw tightened as he bit his teeth together, and then smashed the alarm clock which immediately stopped beeping as it was crushed. How would he explain this to mom? How would he go to Toby who didn't remember? How would he explain everything to Blinky and Aaarrrgghh? Just.. How?

He held his head in his arms, which was resting against his knees, because at some point during his panicking he had sat against the wall. He'd only wanted a normal life so everything could maybe for once not go wrong. He felt like smashing everything, he wanted to rip everything in his room apart. But he did none of that, and silently stood up. That was an another mistake which made his day ten times worse. Guess what was laying on his desk?

The damn amulet. It was glowing and dimming like a pulse at him, like it was greeting an old friend. Jim wanted to throw that thing out of the window immediately, he wanted to never see it again, but instead of that he only sighed. Of course. He had to be the damn Trollhunter on top of that, AGAIN. Nothing ever goes to plan, but what should have he expected anyways? He gently grabbed the glowing amulet, and looked down at it. The amulet looked the same as always, well, it looked the same before it had been smashed. Jim wouldn't probably admit it at the moment, but he had missed the annoying thing. Yes, he had his new amulet, but he would always be fond of the first amulet that chose him. That had helped him through many battles.

He had no time to pout and throw a tantrum like a toddler, the first thing that he had to do was probably tell Tobes. Speaking of the boy-

"Jimbo! You there?" Toby shouted from outside, and knocked on the door. Jim's head slumped against the wall, he grabbed his horns and slowly slid down. He couldn't do it. What if Tobes wouldn't believe him and just called animal control or did something worse? He couldn't blame the boy if he did anything like that, but you know? Still.

The banging continued. "Seriously! I'm starting to worry, are you alright dude?" Toby shouted. Jim finally decided to stop being a coward, and made his way downstairs, opening the door. Thankfully the sun couldn't reach the porch, so now he was facing Toby in his troll form.

"AA-" Toby's scream was cut off by Jim grabbing him by his arm, and then by pulling Toby into the house. He shut the door behind him quickly to avoid any neighbors seeing him, and shushed Toby. "Tobes! It's me, Jim." He let go of his arm and raised them to try and look friendlier. "Last time I checked Jimbo wasn't blue!" The other said in return as he backed off in fear and grabbed a kitchen pan, holding it up like a weapon. "Who are you and what did you do to Jim?" Toby asked with wide eyes.

"We've been friends since childhood, once you had to eat cat food to hide that you nana's cat had died, and you liked the food. It's me, please.. just, trust me." Jim pleaded as he slowly approached. He felt like crying. Once Toby noticed this he slowly lowered the pan. "Jimbo?" He asked unsurely as he looked at the boy in disbelief. "What happened? Why are you so blue? Why are you so tall? Why do you have horns? Why- Wait! How do you know about the cat-?

"I'll explain everything." Jim said as he grabbed the others hands gently and looked into Toby's eyes.

"You won't believe this- But, i'm from the future."

AN: I've never written a fanfic like this about Trollhunters before, so the characters are probably out of character. I still hope it's readable for you! I'd love to hear your opinion and comments about this btw, so don't be shy;)

I have plenty of time to write this fic while i'm having a break from school, but once I go back, updating will take time, and i'll be sorry about that. I hope I still do have motivation at that point, cus school makes me lose it all lmao

Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy this journey:)
