Before blacking out, the last things she saw were her father's semi-bright teal-blue eyes. Then, her world went black.
Now
Izumi slowly woke up, her vision blurry. She attempted to raise her hand to wipe away the blurriness, but her hand would not move. Shock forced her to wake up faster, before she looked down at her hand and saw that it was bound to a hospital bed. She felt stiffness in her back, so she looked behind her at her wings, and saw that they were bound to her back by a special harness. Shock bled into anger, as she tried to get her hands free.
The noise she made trying to escape brought in four people. The first through the door was a nondescript man with peach skin in a brown trench coat and fedora. The three after him were a stick thin man with sunken eyes and messy dark blonde hair with his clothes hanging loosely off him, a pleasantly plump woman with green eyes and her green hair done up in a slightly messy bun, while the final person was a girl that looked similar to her but with pink hair, white wings, a sun mark on her thighs and skin so healthy they looked almost tan. Before the man with the hat could speak, the plump woman practically teleported to izumi and gave her a death squeeze. "My baby," inko said, as she cried into izumi's shoulder.
"Release me," izumi said coldly. Inko froze and pulled back to look at her youngest, only to see no love in her eyes, only hate. Trying to not cry (and flood the building in the process) inko pulled away. "Izumi, that's no way to speak to our mother! Apologize to her, right now," akane chastised her sister. "Your sister is correct, izumi. Apologize to your mother," toshinori said to his youngest in disappointment. In response, izumi simply looked at them, eyes colder than the dark side of the moon. "Why should i apologize? She stopped being my mother, when she focused on the sun. Just as you did, toshinori," izumi stated.
"Izumi, don't talk to our parents like that," akane scolded her sister. Izumi slowly turned her head to look at her sister. "They are not my parents, and you are not my sister. Release me," izumi stated coldly, eyes looking like cold onyx. "Sorry to say this, young lady, but they ARE your family," the man said. Izumi looked at him and said, "tsukauchi. What are YOU doing here?" she asked. "i'm simply here to help a misguided girl rehabilitate to rejoin her family," tsukauchi said honestly.
"As i said, they are not my family, so there is no reason for me to be with them. Release me, and there will be no fuss," izumi said with a cold tone. The yagi family, in addition to tsukauchi, actually shivered a bit at her tone. "Sorry, but i cannot allow that. You must stay here to heal, be rehabilitated, and rejoin your family," tsukauchi denied her. "I see," izumi simply said. "How did those useless police and heroes even find my home in the first place?" izumi asked. "A man came to us for help in getting his daughter back, and he gave the location of that base," tsukauchi said.
"I see," izumi said, cold fury simmering just beneath the surface as she laid back down. "I have a few questions for you to answer, miss," tsukauchi said to izumi. "I have nothing to say to you," izumi said coldly as she stared at her ceiling. Tsukauchi asked her various questions, but izumi did not answer. After about an hour, tsukauchi gave up on asking her questions, since izumi didn't answer any of them. "If you are done futilely trying to interrogate me, all four of you can simply piss off. I don't want to see or hear you," izumi said in an arctic tone. The yagi family flinched at that and, crying a bit, they left the room. Tsukauchi followed after looking at izumi in shock for a few moments, before he followed the yagi family out the door, shutting it behind him.
Tsukauchi looked at the three of them. "From what i was able to get from her, which was NOT easy mind you, she feels incredible amounts of rage towards the three of you, and she spoke the truth when she said that she doesn't consider you three her family," tsukauchi said sadly. Inko was on the literal verge of flooding the hospital with her tears, toshinori looked shocked and akane hung her head, shoulders shaking as a few tears escaped her eyes.
Meanwhile, back in the room, izumi was looking around the room, looking for something like a button that could release her. In idle curiosity, she looked at her chest, and saw that her necklace, her weapon, was gone. Hot fury burned within her, but she remained calm as she looked around the room some more. After looking for a few minutes, she saw a button by the door to the room. So, using her moonlight to pick up a book left behind by someone, she threw the book at the button, pressing it. With a 'click' noise, her hands were freed. She quickly got off the bed and stretched her arms and legs.
After she stretched, she looked down at the harness, trying to figure out how to get it off. She saw a buckle, and when she undid it, the harness fell and her wings were released. Izumi let out a sigh of relief as her wings were freed. She felt for the connection she had with her necklace, and felt that it was in a police station, likely in evidence being processed. Izumi scowled, before she called it back. With a small flash, the necklace appeared back around her neck, to which izumi smiled happily, before she scowled, again. "Kai chisaki, you made your last mistake trying to take my unicorn away for your experiments" izumi thought. She encased her fist in moonlight and punched the wall, creating a lot of noise, a large dust cloud and a massive hole. After the dust cleared, izumi took flight to find kai, then her girlfriend and daughter.
Hearing the noise and feeling the vibration, the yagi family ran back to izumi's room and burst through the door, only to see an empty bed, the harness on the floor and a large hole in the wall. Somewhat correctly guessing that her sister flew off, akane also took flight. Upon seeing her sister in the distance, she quickly flew towards her as fast as she could. After getting much closer, she called out to her sister, "IZUMI!"
Upon looking back, izumi scowled, before she quickly spun in midair and ax kicked akane to the ground. "Agh!" akane said as she was kicked in the spine before she landed on the pavement of the road. Above her, izumi used her moonlight to essentially staple akane to the ground by the wings, arms and legs. Izumi then flew off, only one thing on her mind: keeping her little unicorn safe.
After a bit of flying, she arrived at the shie hassaikai. However, unknown to her, members of the nighteye agency were watching the place, and they quickly called sir nighteye as izumi walked in the front door. The people inside decided to try getting in her way, but she quickly planted their heads in the walls, in pain but alive. She stomped on the floor and the whole building shook a bit, except for one wall. She walked over to that wall and knocked on it a few times. Hearing an ever so slight echo, she grabbed that part of the wall and literally ripped it out before tossing it close to the front door. After tossing the disguised door, she saw stairs leading into darkness. "Kai, the princess of the moon is coming for you, and she is NOT happy," izumi murmured, before she descended into the darkness, using a silver flame to light the way.
With akane, the staples holding her to the ground vanished, and she painfully stood up slowly. "That was weird, what's up with her?" akane asked herself. "It's like she had a goal, and i was distracting her," akane said to herself. With nothing better to do, she went to go find her parents. Meanwhile, at the nighteye agency, nighteye was performing sanctioned torture on bubble girl (strapped to a tickle machine and turned it on) when he received a call. He set his phone to only allow for one of his men to be able to call. So, he went to his desk, sat in the chair and answered the phone. "This had better be good, or you will join bubble girl in her re-education," nighteye threatened. "Sir, this is the leader of the team you sent to spy on the base of the shie hassaikai," the man on the other end said. "Ah, ok. Is there anything to report aside from the usual?" nighteye asked. "Yes, sir," the man stated. After waiting for a few moments, nighteye asked, "well, what is it? Or should i guess what it is?" a moment later, "sir, a girl in her late teens early adult years landed in front of the door to the shie hassaikai. After she walked in, there must have been something of a disturbance, because there were sounds of fighting inside," the man reported.
"What happened after that? Is she trying to take over?" night eye asked. "Unknown, sir, since we did not go in, per your orders. Based on the sounds we could make out, the shie hassaikai did something to upset her, so she decided to deal with them-*loud noises in the background* WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! YOU, GO FIND OUT! IT SOUNDED LIKE IT CAME FROM THE FRONT DOOR OF THE BASE!" the man yelled. About ten minutes later, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT IT WAS WHAT LOOKS LIKE A HIDDEN DOOR?!" the man yelled. Getting irritated, nighteye decided to remind his subordinate that he was still there. "What's going on, over there?" nighteye asked. "GAH! Sorry sir, but i think it might be prudent that you come here, yourself, as i don't know how to explain it," the man said sheepishly. "Understood, i'll be on my way shortly," nighteye said before he hung up the phone and set it to 'do not disturb' before going over to bubble girl, turned off the machine and released her. Bubble girl landed on the ground, still giggling as she curled up on herself. After a few moments, she was able to collect herself, before she stood up. "Bubble girl, get centipeder, mirio and our other capable fighters, we're going to the shie hassaikai," nighteye ordered.
Meanwhile, back at the hidden base for the shie hassaikai, izumi was wandering the lit halls, lost. "Damnit, where the fuck is kai?" izumi asked, as she put away the flame. "The boss is busy at this moment, please make an appointment," a voice said to her left. She looked to her left and saw that it was an old man, a large muscular man, a drunk man and a man in a priest outfit. The one thing that all four of them had was that they all had bird beak masks. "Oh, lookie here, kai's underlings," izumi stated. The priest spoke up. "Why are you here?" he asked. Izumi felt a compulsion to answer truthfully, but she mostly managed to resist it. "I'm here to speak with kai," izumi said. Not liking the casualness of which izumi answered, the drunk attacked. Izumi felt off balance before she dodged the attack. "Must be his quirk" izumi thought to herself. Adjusting quickly, she put her fist through the chest cavity of the drunk, killing him on the spot. "I don't like alcoholics," izumi stated coldly as she threw the body towards a wall, the body coming off her fist in the process. "YOU MURDERED HIM, YOU BITCH!" the priest yelled, as he pulled out an ordinary gun. "He attacked me first, i merely defended myself," izumi refuted.
"What is your quirk?" the priest demanded. Izumi managed to not answer, as she brought out her bow. "ANSWER ME!" the priest demanded. Izumi smirked as she pulled back on the non-existent bowstring, an arrow made of moonlight appearing and being pointed at the priest. "Not telling," she answered, before she released the arrow. The arrow travelled at the speed of light and impaled the priest in the heart. The priest was dead before he fell to the floor. "Who's next?" izumi asked nonchalantly, as if she did not just kill two people, as the arrow evaporated into nothingness.
The large muscular man raced towards izumi and started punching her, only for her to catch the fists of the man and she threw him into a nearby wall. The thrown man crashed into the wall, spiderweb cracks and chunks of concrete falling, along with some concrete dust, before the man fell to the floor and slumped, unconscious. The old man used his quirk to put up a barrier, but izumi simply walked through the barrier, not even fazed by it.
While the old man stood there, bewildered at how someone could just slip into his barrier, izumi grabbed his neck and hoisted him into the air, choking him. "Now, where is kai?" izumi asked. "I will never tell you, little girl," the old man stated defiantly. "Ok, here's how it's going to go, old man: you can either tell me where kai's office is before i give you a swift and painless death, or you continue to defy me before i give you prolonged suffering until you break and give the information regardless before i painfully rip your heart out. Which is it going to be?" izumi asked. "Do your worst, little girl, but i will not talk," the old man said defiantly. Izumi got a dark look on her face, before she got an evil smirk. "I was hoping you said that," she said, before she slammed him against the wall of the hallway, causing him to grunt in pain, before she slammed spikes made of moonlight through the palms of his hands, causing him to scream in pain.
"Oh, please, i haven't even STARTED yet," izumi complained. She made a scalpel out of moonlight, and literally began to carve up the old man like a thanksgiving turkey, and she made sure to avoid places that will cause excessive bleeding, so he doesn't die of blood loss, such as his wrists and the arteries in his neck. The old man screamed as she carved into him, until his lungs almost gave out from all the screaming. "Fine, i'll tell you. Just, please, put me out of my misery," the old man begged after about 30 minutes of carving.
"Good boy," izumi said patronizingly. "Now, where is the office?" she asked him. Gasping for breath, the old man told her the directions to get to kai's office. "Thank you for finally cooperating with me," izumi said, before she shoved her hand into the chest cavity of the old man. "As thanks, i will forgo the slow death and just be quick about it. Goodbye," she said, before she grabbed the heart of the old man and just ripped it out of the chest cavity. The old man gasped in pain, before his head slumped forward, the light from his eyes gone. Izumi dropped the heart and dispersed the spikes, causing the old man to fall into a large puddle of his own blood. She gave the old man a final look, before she put her clenched right fist over her heart and bowed her head in respect. "Requiescat in pace," she said to the old man, before she straightened up, and went in the direction of kai's office.
However, on the way to the office, she smelled blood, but it smelled old. Following it, she came upon a lab with a chair in the middle. She froze in horror, fear and revulsion at the room. "This must be the room that kai gave all those scars to eri in," izumi said in fury. She quickly got the hell out of there and continued on her way to kai's office. On the way to the office, she heard a beeping noise. Following it, she saw an old man in a bed, appearing to be in a coma. "Huh, this must be the former leader of the shie hassaikai," izumi said thoughtfully. She put her hand on his head and her hand glowed silver. "Shit. kai, just how badly did you want to be the leader of the gang, to turn your boss into THIS?" izumi asked as she healed the boss from what kai did to him.
After she finished healing him, which took about a minute, izumi wrote a note, folded it and put it on his face, so that he'll see it once he wakes. With that, she continued to kai's office. I'll leave the vault alone, since the previous leader will most likely need the funds inside, once he retakes control of the gang," izumi said to herself. After a few minutes of walking, she saw the door of the office, so she knocked on it. After a few moments, a guy with silver hair and slightly narrow eyes opened the door. "Who are yo- *slice*" the man stopped talking as izumi held her right hand to her right, about shoulder level. After a few moments, the silver haired man's neck gained a crimson line going from one side of his neck to the other, before the head fell forward and hit the ground, with the body following an instant later.
"Who killed my assistant?!" kai yelled angrily as he stood up from his desk. "I did, kai," izumi said as she walked into the room, the lamp on kai's desk lighting her face, which showed that she was not happy. "Ah, have you come to return my daughter?" kai asked. "No," izumi shot that down bluntly, and faster than bullet leaving a sniper barrel. "Instead, this is for me, and for my little unicorn," izumi stated. Kai angrily used his quirk to turn his desk into wooden spikes that launched themselves at her. Izumi simply made a warshield of moonlight and held it in front of her. When the spikes hit the shield, they turned into splinters. "You used the police and heroes to try to get her back, just so you could torment her more," izumi said as she dispelled the shield. "Here's a fun fact for you, kai: out of all your subordinates with those plague masks, only the large muscular one is alive," izumi said, shocking kai. "Plus, i undid whatever you did to your boss," she said. Kai began to shake in fury. "You know, kai, it's time for you to die," izumi said. She summoned her katana from her pendant, practically teleported next to kai and sliced his head off with ease.
After the head and body fell to the floor, she un-summoned her katana held up her hand and summoned the same kind of fire she used to dispose of muscular's body, and dropped the flame on the body before she left. She knew that the flame would go out on it's own once the body was turned to ash.
Shortly after izumi went into the hidden base
Nighteye was standing in front of his subordinate that he placed here to spy on the shie hassaikai, being debriefed on everything that happened since he hung up the phone call. "Right. Lemillion, centipeder and bubble girl, come with me," nighteye ordered, before going into the main building, with the three named following close behind. Just as the four entered the main building, they saw what looked like the secret entrance to the underground base. "Um, sir, what is this?" lemillion asked. "This appears to be the door to the hidden base, mirio," nighteye answered. "Whoever did this was incredibly strong," bubble girl said. "Agreed, and whoever it was appears to have issues with the shie hassaikai that they want to personally resolve," centipeder said.
With that said, the four used some flashlights they carried with them and went down into the hidden base propper. Once inside, they turned off the lights and went deeper. After walking for about 20 minutes, they smelled iron, until they realized that is was fresh blood. They quickly ran towards the source of the scent, only to find three or four bodies, with a person slumped on the wall, as if unconscious. Centipeder quickly went to the unconscious one and felt for a pulse. "Sir, rappa's alive, just unconscious," centipeder reported. Bubble girl looked through the bodies and saw that they were dead. However, once the four of them reached the old man with the barrier quirk, all four of them were bothered by how ruthless the person was, and bubble girl and lemillion actually puked up the contents of their stomachs. Nighteye actually saw something similar during his days as all mights sidekick, and centipeder didn't have the facial muscles to show anything.
"Whoever the person is, they were particularly vicious with this one," nighteye said. Lemillion and bubble girl finished puking and saw a trail of footprints walking away. "Sir, we found footprints walking away," lemillion said. The four of them followed the footprints, saw the lab with dried blood, followed the footprints more until the four of them saw the old man in the hospital bed. Bubble girl checked for a pulse, found one and reported it to nighteye. Lemillion noticed the note on the face of the old man and picked it up, before he read it. Once he finished reading it, she let out a strangled choke, like someone strangled a chicken, which got nighteye's attention. "Mirio? What's wrong?" nighteye asked in concern. Instead of physically answering, mirio simply handed nighteye the note, which nighteye read after he took it.
To the former leader of the shie hassaikai,
Kai has really pissed me off, so i went to personally deal with him. I stumbled upon you by pure chance, and undid whatever kai did to put you in that coma. You should know that kai has tormented eri, which covered her in a massive amount of scars, which i have long since healed shortly after i took her in. Based on recent events with her, she has begun to see me as her mother, and i can guarantee that i will be vastly better compared to her birth mother and kai.

Nightmare moon
Nighteye put the note in his pocket, a deeply shocked expression on his face, before he looked at centipeder. "Centipeder, carry the man on your back," nighteye ordered. Centipeder did so, and the four of them followed the bloody footprints. However, once the four of them got to the hallway that contained kai's office, the footprints began to fade each step. But, on the flip side, there was a fresh body that was a body and a severed head that belonged on said body. Once the four of them entered the office, they saw two piles of ash, one much smaller than the other. "I believe that we just found kai. Or, rather, what's left if him," lemillion said. "Agreed. If that note was not an indicator, then this is. Apparently, nightmare moon was pissed at kai for some reason," nighteye said. "Let's go, we need to get the man to the hospital, and get the police here," nighteye said.
Within an hour, police were there, along with an ambulance for rappa, and body collectors for the dead members of the shie hassaikai. "I believe that i owe nightmare moon a thank you for getting rid of the shie hassaikai," nighteye said.
About an hour later, rappa and the old man were in the same room, waiting to actually wake up. Also in the room were nighteye, the yagi family and nezu. A nurse came in, carrying a clipboard while looking at it. "Well, whatever was done to him, the old man will recover. Someone reversed what was essentially a forced coma via altered chemistry in the brain, and his body is currently putting the chemistry back to right," the nurse said, explaining the current prognosis of the old man. "As for the large man, rappa i believe, he was knocked out by being thrown into something hard, perhaps concrete. The worst injury he'll have is a concussion when he'll wake up, which should be any minute now," the nurse said. "Thank you, ma'am," nighteye said.
The nurse bowed out the room, and the awake ones began to talk. "Who could have done this?" toshinori asked. "And for what reason would they do this?" nezu asked. "I'm certain that it's relevant, but i made copies of the note that was found on the face of the old man there," nighteye said, pointing at the old man, before taking out the copies of the note he made and handed them to the yagi family and nezu, who began to read.
The yagi family choked on their own spit, while nezu simply raised an eyebrow. Just then, rappa made a groaning noise as he put his hand on his head as he sat up. "What the hell happened?" i was hoping that you'd be able to tell us," nighteye said. Rappa looked at him, "who are you?" he asked. "I am sir nighteye, and i was wondering what the last thing you remember is?" nighteye asked. Rappa tried to remember, before he did (or rather, it hit him with the force of a semi) "where is that girl? I want a rematch with her!" rappa said passionately. "'Girl'? Describe her," nighteye ordered. "From what i remember, she has hair as black as an abyss with eyes and wings of the same color, was really pale and had a crescent moon on a field of black on her thighs," rappa said. The yagi family was shocked at the description.
"What's the last thing you remember about her, before you passed out?" nighteye said. Rappa thought back. "Well, the silent alarm was tripped when the door opened. We found her, the intruder, and she said that she wanted to speak to the boss. Some stuff happened, and one of my comrades attacked, not liking how she spoke, he was the first to die. Then i attacked, but she caught both of my hands as i attacked her, then she threw me into the wall, and i blacked out. The next thing i know is that i wake up in here," rappa recalled.
"I see. I'm not sure how close you were with the others in your group, but the girl killed them, and she was particularly vicious with the old man of the group. Also, a guy with silver hair was killed, and we found what was left of kai," nighteye explained. "Huh, so the boss and his aide are dead," rappa said.
"Indeed. Apparently, kai had really pissed off the girl who knocked you out, so she went after him personally," nighteye explained. With that, nighteye bowed to rappa, then he, nezu and the yagi family left the room.
