Gamindustri…
Here in this reality shift realm are 4 presiding CPUs, better known as Console Patron Units.
A long time ago, they would reside in Celestia, a world separate from the Land they oversee.
CPU Black Heart, and her "Land of Black Regality" known as Lastation.
CPU White Heart, and her "Land of White Serenity" known as Lowee.
CPU Green Heart, and her "Land of Green Pastures" known as Leanbox.
CPU Purple Heart, and her "Land of Purple Progress" known as Planeptune.
For thousands of years did the CPUs fight endlessly in battle for rule over Gamindustri. The battle etched in history, known as the Console War…
3 years to this day, the Console War came to an end. The CPUs united to bring down a powerful foe and restore order to the land.
With those dark times behind them, Gamindustri returned to an era of peace once and for all…
On a large land mass that sat at the very center of Gamindustri was a forest. For as far as the eye could see there was an endless amount of forest that showed no signs of stopping. Every dozen feet or so was broken up by a small clearing however.
In the middle of one of the small clearings spawned a bright beacon of light, tall enough to go through the clouds above and beyond. Within that beacon of light manifested the figure of a person who became less obscured as the seconds passed.
Finally, the beacon of light would dissipate as quickly as it manifested into reality. All that it left behind was an individual standing where it once was. The individual in question had their hand extended out as if they were reaching for something and wore a thousand-yard stare on their face.
"...?"
The small trance the individual found themself in was quickly broken out of, prompting them to blink a few times. They would pull their hand back and stare directly into their palm for a moment, almost as if they were taking advantage of this moment for quiet reflection.
"...Hhrk…!"
… That, or they realized that they were about to lose their lunch.
Date:
Time: Unknown
Location: Gamindustri?
Now Following: Silver
It took me a few minutes but I finally finished throwing up my lunch (maybe even a bit of my breakfast) and suddenly I felt great! It feels like a giant weight has been lifted off my shoulders, haha!
… Okay but to be 100% transparent with you, that freaking sucked. Media always painted teleportation as something relatively harmless for the most part! Sure, there are some examples of that not being the case, but that's beside the point! I didn't even think that would be possible, so thinking of the ramifications didn't cross my mind.
If you're wondering what it feels like, I think the best way I can describe it is that certain parts of me got here before the rest of me. I think it was more of the shock of suddenly losing something like my intestines before getting them back like nothing happened.
But I think I'm okay now! I got everything out of my system so hopefully I shouldn't-
"Ough…" I took a second and gulped.
Okay, now I shouldn't run into any more problems. Yeesh, I really wish the disembodied eldritch abomination gave me a heads-up…
… Oh yeah, where am I anyway? I was in my backyard, then I was in the void, and now I'm in a forest I think? Looks like one anyway. As far as I'm aware there aren't any forests like this at home, so…
… Bah, whatever. Whether this is real or some cleverly thought-out social experiment, I'll just go with it for the time being. Now… What was I supposed to do again…?
"…I would like for you to travel there and familiarize yourself with the land and its people. Eventually, an individual will contact you and attempt to guide you down a certain path. I do not know what forename they will use in this path, but they will most likely have the surname of Ali…"
Oh, that's right. I gotta get a lay of the land and its people until someone tries talking to me. What was the name I had to keep track of?
Ali…baba? No, that doesn't sound right.
Ali…expre- No, not that one either. I started saying it but immediately realized how wrong it sounded.
Ali…
…
…Yeah I don't remember. I think I was so distracted by everything else that the part with the name slipped my mind. It's okay though! I'm sure it's just one of those things where it'll come back to me after a little while… Oh, what's that?
Right by my feet was this leather pouch that reminded me a lot of the wallets in Zelda. It looked pretty beefy just from a glance so the chances of there being something inside was pretty high. When I went to pick it up, I was caught off-guard by how much it weighed. It felt as heavy as a bag of groceries that was inevitably going to tear because there was way too much packed into a single bag. When I opened it up-
"Well well well, it looks like the Goddess of fortune is smiling down on me~"
Inside of pouch were a bunch of tokens that had the letter C engraved onto them. Most of em were yellow but there were some silver and bronze ones thrown into the mix as well. If I had to take a guess, I'd say that this was money and not some fake currency that I'd be able to redeem at some fictional place called the Pizzaplex.
There was a piece of paper that was folded and placed neatly on top of the pile of coins. Since I was already close to the ground, I sat down completely and took the paper out of the pouch to unfold and read it.
Dear Trenton Tamazaki,
The coins in this pouch are the currency of this world. They are known as "Credits" and I've supplied you with 10,000 of them. Use it wisely.
P.S. Welcome to Gamindustri.
Sincerely, Your Benefactor
10,000!? That's… That's a lot! If I had this much money I don't think I'd have to worry about working for like…
…
… Actually, I'd still have to work. The IRS would find and take every last token if they knew I had this. Since I also live in [REDACTED, where the cost of living is absurdly high, I wouldn't get far with that either.
Oh right, this would count as foreign currency, wouldn't it? Who's to say 10,000 credits when converted to USD is even a lot? Heck, could this even be called foreign currency? It's more like otherworldly currency, right…?
Bah, it doesn't matter. What matters is I got a crapton of money that should help me get by for a bit! Even if the money was um… meant for someone else.
Dear Trenton Tamazaki,
…
…
…A-Anyway, look! There's more on the back of the paper! There was such a small amount of text written on the front that I wondered why they even used the back.
The words on the message will disappear once you have read them, so please pay attention.
Wha-Well, damn okay! You're really not trying to leave any tracks huh?
Dear Sylvia Tamazaki,
I thank you once again for agreeing to help me in this war to save our worlds as we know them. I know you may feel like this responsibility was forced onto you, and I deeply apologize.
In case you read this side of the paper first, you have been given a pouch that contains 10,000 credits. This should cover whatever necessary expenses you may need for a short while. Until you are able to secure a stable source of income, I advise you to use this money cautiously.
Next, If all went smoothly, then you should currently find yourself in a clearing surrounded by several trees. Regardless of where you are, I would ask you to look up.
Look up-WOAH!
I lifted my head and stared up into the sky. I didn't see anything at first, but when I turned to look in a different direction, I saw the top half of this ginormous tree! Like, that thing is going through the clouds dude, it's that big!
If that somehow wasn't what they wanted me to see, then I don't know what.
That is Gamindustri's World Tree. It is rumored to hold an unfathomable amount of power and is supposedly the reason behind important aspects of this world such as Share Energy and Magic-
Hold on, screw whatever that first thing was—THIS PLACE HAS MAGIC!?
I feel like that was probably a given since, you know, teleportation and me throwing up not even 5 minutes ago, but outright confirmation that magic is real? That's awesome! I just know the non-believers like Emile and Pete are going to be punching the air when I tell em' about this, heh heh~
… Though of course, those are simply just rumors.
I would like for you to head to the World Tree and approach any one of the roots that point to the nations beyond the isle. You mustn't make physical contact with those roots.
I repeat: Do NOT make physical contact with any root. Once you have found the root, the last bit of this message shall be revealed.
Kinda glad whoever wrote this letter tried to emphasize how bad of an idea it'd be to go and touch some root. I know it'd probably slip my mind if they didn't reiterate it like… twice.
But head on over to the World Tree? I can do that! It looks preetttyyy far, but I used to be an athlete so a bit of distance like that is child's play!
Phew… Okay, it was a tiny bit of a problem. My reflexes and flexibility might've improved thanks to waitress work, but my stamina isn't what it used to be…! Probably doesn't help that I threw up before this and now I kinda feel like throwing up again…
Either way, I went for a bit of a run and I reached the edge of the forest in no time! So I'd say there was a bit of success there. I walked past the last few trees and went to the edge of the forest… That's when I saw something that nearly took my breath away.
Before the young woman stretched a landscape unlike anything she had ever seen before. A vast sea of green sprawled out in every direction, with the sharp blades of grass responding to the wind's gentle touch.
At the heart of it all stood Gamindustri's very own World Tree, a staple of the land that pierces the heavens themselves. Its towering trunk, which seemingly defied all reason, anchored an impossibly vast canopy of leaves that shined brightly when bathed in the sun's golden light. Even at a distance, the young woman could feel a great power emanating from the tree itself.
Nestled against the trunk of the World Tree stood another structure. With a single glance, it appeared as if an assortment of spires, pillars, and archways had grown within the tree seeing how seamlessly they blended with the exterior. Another look would shed additional light on the mysterious structures and reveal them to be manmade. The structure, or building— whatever it was, held great importance, without a doubt.
Finally, beyond the gaze of the structures, the grasslands, and the World Tree, were the distant silhouettes of strange cities, each of them vastly different from the other.
In the west, dark metallic structures rose like fortresses, their industrial nature unmistakable even at a distance.
Going northward, white peaks and delicate, castle-like shapes stood like something from a fairy tale.
South from which she came, was more rolling greenery blended seamlessly with towering cathedral-like buildings.
Finally to the east, a gleaming futuristic skyline, its towers and lights flickering even in the daylight.
This was, without a doubt, the land of Gamindustri.
This place… This place is real, right? It's not a social experiment or some kind of wacky dream I'm having right? I've had some pretty crazy dreams but… none of em ever looked like this before!
I… I guess… I should be taking this seriously, shouldn't I? I wasn't all too worried before since I thought there were virtually no stakes involved and I was just… I don't know, having an episode?
But nope! After seeing all of this, there's something in my gut that's telling me: "Yeah, thoopid! Thith if the weal deel!"
Which means…
"I… know you said this is to save my "brothers", but Trenton is already gone. You acknowledged that much yourself…"
…
"But, Le-Le is still around, and you're saying that doing everything that you're saying will save him?"
… Yes, that is correct…
… I'm really doing all of this for you.
So get a lot of rest, okay? Big sis will be home soon.
I didn't really know what root to go for (since I think I was told to choose one at random? I don't have a way of checking since the words nuked themselves), so I just picked one using a reliable technique known to have aided world leaders in making important decisions.
"Eenie meenie miney mo-"
… You don't have any proof that world leaders don't use this technique.
After some careful deliberation, I chose to go with the root that pointed toward that futuristic-looking city. It was right past that building that was built into the front of the tree so I could also explore that.
… Mmm… Actually, I'm not too sure about that. I have zero idea if this place is inhabited or not, but just one look tells me that it's likely the former. Either way, this place is definitely important to this world so I somehow doubt anyone I meet here would greet me with milk and cookies. A bullet to the head though? That's more likely!
Wait, this place has magic so… A fireball to the head then?
Look, the point is that I'm not taking any chances! I'd rather not get a 'BAD END' immediately in the first part of the game if it's all the same to you.
With that said, I skipped past the front of the structure and went over to my desired tree root. I made sure NOT to touch it as I was instructed (man, I'd hate to be THAT guy in that scenario), and examined the thing. It didn't look too different from the rest of the roots aside from where it was pointing I guess, so I'm not sure how much this is really going to matter. There were carvings on the thing though, but I couldn't tell you what any of it means.
I pulled out the paper from my pocket and opened it back up again.
If you're seeing this, then you've done what I've asked. I appreciate that you can follow directions.
I'm unsure which root you have chosen, but in case it wasn't clear before, you will be sent to the nation it is pointing to. This shall be your main and possibly quickest way of transportation between nations for the foreseeable future.
Oooh fast travel, huh? I sure do like the sound of that! Getting from city to city would definitely be a hassle otherwise since they're kinda sky islands. Makes you wonder how people get around normally. Can they also teleport?
The transportation process is quite simple. You'll want to carefully trace your finger across the innermost carving of the root. When you're prepared to go, simply close your eyes and open them. When you open your eyes, you should find yourself within the nation.
I have no way of testing it myself, but I believe once you have grown accustomed to a nation and its surroundings, you should theoretically be able to travel anywhere you want simply by thinking about the location you wish to travel to while your eyes are closed.
When you wish to return to the World Tree, find another tree within the nation and simply repeat the aforementioned steps. Do note that touching the root is only required for travel from the world tree to a nation. You only need to make physical contact with any part of the tree when traveling from a nation to the World Tree.
With that said, that is all I can tell you for the time being. I wish you the best of luck on your journey, Silver. I will be watching and rooting for you every step of the way. Until we meet again, do take care.
Sincerely, E!H
P.S. Welcome to Gamindustri
That was… a lot to take in, but I think I got the gist of it? Trace the root carvings, blink, and then boom! I'm there! Getting back here is pretty easy too since I just have to find any tree and basically repeat the same steps.
Oh, and I FINALLY have a name for the disembodied voice!
… Well, kinda. They look more like initials if anything (what's with the '!'? Are they some kinda AU version of another person?). I guess it doesn't really matter though, huh? As far as I'm aware, I'm the only one who knows about their existence, so I should already know who it is right off the bat… I think.
Whatevs! I'm stalling for no reason in particular! I'm gonna try out this fast travel thing!
I got down on my knee and placed my index finger onto the innermost carving of the root. I then traced my finger alongside it and closed my eyes.
When I opened them, I would find myself… well, is flying through the air something I should have expected? And at pretty alarming speeds I might add? The pushback from the acceleration is forcing my eyes open!
Wait, did the note say outermost carving or innermost carving? Outwards is below you and inwards is like… upwards right?... Wait no, inwards is toward you, and outward is above you. So that means I went… outwards?
Uh-oh.
(Cutscene Start)
[In a quiet park located in Planeptune, a young woman carrying a medical bag hummed happily to herself as she walked down the stone path]
Young Woman
(Humming gleefully)
"Today was super fun! I didn't think so many people would like my cooking! They were so giddy they fainted!"
…
"It's a shame that I didn't get to win the competition, but at least I helped us reach our weekly quota!"
…
"Ooh, maybe I'll go get some pudding from that bakery to celebrate! I'll buy a few extra for Nep-Nep, and Ge-Ge, and Iffy, and-"
…
(The young woman raised her hand to her face and glanced at the digital watch on her wrist)
"Wah! The bakery will be closed soon! I won't be able to get there in time at this rate!"
…
"Ooh, I know! I can take that other path straight through! That'll leave me plenty of time for pudding!"
…
"But wait… Iffy was saying something about walking around those parts? Did she say not to or-"
…
?
"Waaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuugggggghhhhhh!"
[While the young woman was contemplating, she found her train of thought cut short when what could be described as a distant voice interrupted her. The young woman looked around, trying to spot the source of the voice. When she looked up…]
Player
(Frantically)
"MOVE! MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!"
…
Young Woman
(Shocked and caught off guard)
"WAH!"
[Despite their best efforts to warn the young woman, it seems it wasn't enough to prevent what would happen next. The person falling from the sky would dive straight into the woman, causing a giant dust cloud to form at the moment of impact. Nearby denizens would look off toward the direction of the park wondering what the dustcloud could have possibly been.]
[The dust would settle eventually to reveal… quite the scene. The person laid ontop of the young woman in a crater of their making. The young woman had a dazed expression on her face as she lay there idly. It was impossible to tell if the person had a similar expression on their face as it was currently buried between the young woman's… "mountains".]

Okay, so… Ontop of throwing up nearly everything in my body, I also fell an indeterminate amount of feet from the air and saw God briefly… Great! Awesome even! I can already tell that this "adventure" is going to be a fun one if stuff like this keeps happening!
Sigh Oh well, it's not all that bad. At least I was able to break my fall by landing in a bush.
Squish squish
It's a little weird though. Bushes aren't usually this soft or squishy. Hell, they aren't typically soft or squishy at all. Are the ones here in Gamindustri different than the ones back home?
Squish squish
… Wait… Something's wrong here. I fell from the sky and landed in some bushes? I… I think I tried landing in some bushes, but they were too far away, right…? What else happened when I was falling? Everything was happening really fast so I was panicking…
Squish squish
Wait… that's right…! I think I was heading straight toward some girl? And I was screaming at her to move…? Yeah… Yeah, that sounds right!
Wait…If I landed on something soft and squishy… and they weren't bushes…
…
… I slowly lifted my head up from the cushions and made eye contact with the girl. I could also clearly see that my hands, which were cupped around her breasts, were stuck in a mid-squeeze motion.
It was at that moment that everything became clear to me.
I had landed on this poor girl and her and her-
Squish squish
-Broke my fall…
…
…
…
"GYAH!" I fell back off of her, "I-I'm really really REALLY sorry for using you as a human cushion and subsequently violating you and your mammaries!"
I haven't even been here for a full day and I might just catch a case! Landing on a girl is one thing, but feeling her up too? They'd never let 'It was an accident' slide in the court of law, are you kidding me!?
"Oowie…" She groaned.
"It was really nothing more than a freak accident, I swear! I messed up a set of really easy instructions and next thing I knew I was in your boobs-I MEAN ON TOP OF YOU!"
Now given the situation, I feel like I'd typically be much more calmer than I am currently. Sure, the circumstances this time around are fairly unique but I think I'd be able to stay levelheaded for the most part.
With that being said, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO STAY LEVELHEADED WHEN THE GIRL YOU LANDED ON LOOKS AS CUTE AS HER AND YOU KEEP QUICK SWAPPING BETWEEN HER CHEST AND HER FACE BECAUSE YOU'RE AS STRAIGHT AS A CANDY CANE!
You'd probably be a bumbling mess too if you were in my shoes!
"Huh…?" She blinked at me, "Oh, that's okay!"
"...Wait, huh?"
"I said 'that's okay'!" She repeated, "I've had a lot of wacky stuff happen to me before, so someone falling on me isn't anything out of the ordinary, hehe."
That's um… slightly concerning?
"O-Oh! Are you okay?" I watched in real time as a lightbulb went off in her head, "I could tell that was quite the fall when you landed on me. I can check you for any boo-boos if you'd like!"
"Boo-boos?" It was right then I noticed the bag of spilled medical equipment right beside her, "Oh are you doctor…?"
"Close! I'm a nurse, fresh out of medical school!" Why did I sense a hint of dread behind that cheery tone? "My name's Compa! It's nice to meet you sky lady~"
New Character Entry Added: Compa
Nepedia Entries for Party Members and other potential people of interest will become available at a certain point. Should it be updated, comments shall be added to the appropriate chapter.
Compa, huh? Can't say I've heard that one before, but I shouldn't be surprised given I'm technically the odd one out here. "Compa's a cute name~! You can call me Sylvia or Silver—Heck, sky lady is fine too if you wanna roll with that."
"How about Vi-Vi?" She suggested, "It's nice and easy to remember!"
"Uhh, sure? I don't mind," Can't say I was expecting to add another entry to the list of nicknames I've been given in my life, but here we are. Sylvia and Silver aren't hard names to remember right? Uncommon sure, but hard to remember?
Then again, I guess it's easy for me to say that they aren't hard to remember since… well… it's my name.
"Okey dokey, Vi-Vi it is!" Eh, I guess it's okay, "Now Vi-Vi, did you want a checkup?"
"Oh! Uhh…" I patted my pockets to make sure I still had the wallet of credits on me, "I-I think I'm fine, thanks. I doubt my insurance even works here and I don't think I have the money to pay upfront…"
When our grandparents passed, our health insurance ran out around the same time. That was around the same time I uh… had an *accident* of my own, and had to go to the hospital. I don't think anything has scarred me more than receiving a bill with 3 extra 0s.
Point is, I'm never paying for medical services without active insurance ever again.
"No worries! I just finished my shift for the day, so there's no need to pay me."
I wanna believe her, and it's really tempting because she's using her cuteness to her advantage, but I know damn well that nothing in life is free. Like the wallet full of money I have in my possession? Something tells me this didn't just pop into existence and it actually belongs to someone.
"Really, I'm fine!" I stood up and moved my limbs to showcase my perfectly fine stature, "See! No broken bones! I'm the perfect embodiment of health! (For the most part…)"
"Huh?"
"Nothing~!"
Though it is kinda odd now that we're on the topic. I'm not sure how far up I fell from but I was pretty high up in the sky. Ontop of that, I'm not exactly the sturdiest person in the world and have had to take multiple trips to the ER in the span of a week because of that.
That fall should've killed me is what I'm trying to get at, yet here I am with only a few scratches on me. Maybe some God out there watching decided to give me a freebie in the form of Compa.
If that's the case then… I gotta shake their hand.
"Well if you're sure, I won't try to force you," She sounded a bit disappointed when she got up and started dusting herself off. "If you start feeling nasty all of a sudden, or think your eyeballs are going to pop out of your sockets, then the hospital I work at isn't too far from here!"
"I sure hope it doesn't come down to that…" I looked around, "That reminds me—where are we?"
"Hm? Ohhh that's right! You did just fall from the sky, so it's only natural you're a little lost," That's… one way of putting it, "We're in 'Green Park Zone'! It's the oldest national park here in Planeptune."
"Green Park Zone". It was a small patch of land that stood within the seemingly endless city. Amid a city of neon lights and technological marvels, this area offered a small glimpse into the nation's tranquil heart. Citizens could find a moment of respite away from the technological heartbeat that was ever present outside of its walls.
Drones would zip through the skies, either delivering parcels/messages or racing through the city streets to their destination. Various vendors and storefronts hosted lines of citizens waiting excitedly to claim their latest products.
Modern yet, nostalgic. Chaotic yet orderly. While a paradox, this city was a perfect representation and byproduct of its people and ruler, CPU Purple Heart.
Planeptune, a city of boundless energy and endless innovation. It currently stands as a testament to the progress and creativity of its people. To the young woman, everything felt strangely new… everything WAS strangely new. And yet, the prospect of being in a distant land didn't seem to scare her one bit.
Planeptune, huh…? I get this strange inexplicable feeling that me and this city are going to get all buddy-buddy with each other for however long I'm-
"OH NO!"
"Gh!" My inner monologue was cut short when Compa decided to scream suddenly, "W-What!? What's wrong!?"
"I was supposed to visit this really nice bakery with tasty pudding to celebrate reaching quota at work today!" She said quickly, "I just checked the time and they're going to close in 10 minutes! I have to hurry!"
"Aww shoot! That's my fault, I'm really sorry!" I apologized, "Like I said, I'll be fine. I'll go visit the hospital if uh… my eyes do in fact start falling out of their sockets."
"Okaysies! As long as you promise!" She finished scrambling to pick up her medical supplies, "It was nice meeting you Vi-Vi! See you later!"

"You were destined to die and he was destined to live, but it seems the tides of fate have shifted and your roles were reversed…"

…
"With that said, that is all I can tell you for the time being. I wish you the best of luck on your journey, Silver. I will be watching and rooting for you every step of the way. Until we meet again, do take care."
[The person stares blankly at the paper in their hand and chuckles a bit before folding it once more and sliding it back into their pocket. Looking in the opposite direction Compa had gone in, they began to walk down the stone path]
