Gumyocho
Note: Since this is set in the "Ephemeral" timeline you know how it ends. But I feel like Adrien and Marinette probably had a few days together as a couple before Gabriel found out. I read about Gumyocho online and figured it would make for a good transformation. Enjoy.
Opening theme
It was a beautiful peaceful night in Paris as Ladybug and Cat Noir were on a rooftop together with candles lit. It had been two days since Marinette had revealed her secret to Adrien and they both realized how much they loved each other. They were sharing a romantic night together as they held hands and danced with each other on the roof. Cat Noir lovingly twirled Ladybug around before pulling her back as he held her from behind while she smiled up at him. He then twirled her again and dipped her before pulling her back up, they kept dancing as they stared lovingly in each other's eyes.
They kept staring into each other's eyes as Cat Noir lovingly said, "Knowing who you are behind that mask makes me love you even more."
Ladybug smiled sweetly as she said, "And all this time the boy I loved was right in front of me, and I didn't even know it."
Cat Noir kept smiling lovingly as he said, "My life is perfect as long as I have you my lady."
She sighed happily as she blushed and said, "I love when you call me that."
They both shut their eyes while leaning closer to each other and kissed on the lips passionately while holding each other. Unbeknownst to them, Marinette's best friend Alya was walking on the street nearby when she looked up and saw them, prompting her to gasp in shock.
She was baffled as she softly said to herself, "Marinette?"
She made sure no one was watching before she ran off while Ladybug and Cat Noir pulled away from each other with loving smiles.
She then let go of Cat Noir and turned to the direction of her house and said, "I should get home before my parents notice I'm gone."
Cat Noir then leaned over and scooped her up as he smiled charmingly and said, "Let me give you a ride my lady."
She sighed lovingly as she shut her eyes and held him while leaning her head against his chest, hearing his heartbeat. Cat Noir smiled lovingly as he ran and jumped across rooftops before arriving on the roof of Marinette's home as he put her down.
She smiled at him as she stood up and said, "See you tomorrow."
He smiled charmingly as he bowed to her and said, "I look forward to it."
He then jumped away as she watched him before going into her room and transforming back to normal and going to bed without being heard. The next morning, Adrien was waiting in front of school for his girlfriend and smiled with delight as he saw Marinette come toward him.
They embraced warmly before Marinette smiled at him before looking at his jacket as she said, "Hi Adrien. Hi Plagg."
Plagg poked his head out of Adrien's jacket and waved at Marinette with a smile on his face, then Marinette's purse opened as Tikki looked at them.
Adrien smiled down at her as he said, "Mornign Tikki."
She smiled up at him as she said, "Hello Adrien."
Plagg smiled as he said, "Good morning Sugar cube."
Tikki became annoyed when Marinette looked down at her with intrigue and said, "Sugar cube?"
Tikki shut her eyes as she scoffed, "It's just an annoying nickname Plagg likes to call me. I've told him a thousand times not to call me that."
Adrien then turned to the school and held his hand out for Marinette as he said, "Well, it's time for school. Shall we my lady?"
She took his hand as she lovingly said, "Of course my prince."
He blushed a bit while Plagg and Tikki hid themselves while walking up the stoops and proceeding through the hallway. As they passed their classmates, they couldn't help but stare at them with their moths agape, while some showed delight.
Alya and Nino were thrilled as Nino said, "Awesome!"
Rose gasped in delight as she put her hands together while Juleka smiled fondly and Alix smiled as she chuckled happily. However, not everyone was thrilled with this sight as Lila bitterly glared at Marinette with hate and disdain. Sabrina smiled fondly while Zoe frowned in mild disappointment before smiling, then Chloe turned and curiously saw what they were looking at.
When she saw Marinette holding Adrien's hand she gaped in shock as she said, "What?!"
She angrily glared at them and was about to march over to them but the bell rang and it was time for class. They went to Miss Bustier's class and paid attention Adrien and Marinette smiled lovingly as they glanced at each other, and Chloe watched them with anger and jealousy. Later, during lunchtime Adrien and Marinette were happily sitting together along with Alya and Nino sitting across from them. Chloe was spying on them from her table with envy and hatred, and Lila also stared at Marinette as she bitterly thought about how she would ruin this for her. When lunch was done they walked holding hands again and Lila watched with hatred until Alya walked up next to her.
She smiled as she watched them and said, "Don't they look so good together?"
Lila immediately put on a face of admiration as she deceived, "Yes, Adrien and Marinette are so lucky to have each other."
Alya smiled as she followed them and when she was gone Lila immediately showed her disdain again as she hated pretending to praise Marinette. At the end of the school day, Marinette was by herself getting books out of her locker when she closed it, and she was startled to see Chloe standing right behind where her locker door once was.
Chloe leaned toward Marinette as she threateningly poked her with her right finger thrice saying, "I don't know what you did Dupain-Cheng, but there is no way you're stealing my Adrikins from me! So I suggest you stay away from him before I have my daddy split you two up for me!"
Marinette was nervous but before she could say anything, they heard Adrien say, "Leave her alone Chloe."
Chloe turned around and was surprised to see Adrien glaring at her before he protectively passed her and protectively stood next to Marinette. While this was happening Alya was hiding behind the edge of the lockers as she watched this with curiosity and interest.
He kept glaring at Chloe as he strictly said, "I'm sorry Chloe but I love Marinette and I could never be friends with someone who is cruel to her. So either you start being nicer to her or stop talking to me."
Marinette was amazed while Chloe was shocked and then angrily said, "Of all people how can you love that baker girl?!"
Adrien kept glaring at Chloe as he passionately said, "Marinette is the greatest girl I've ever met, I would never let anyone hurt her."
Marinette was amazed while Alya smiled in delight, then Chloe stomped her foot and said, "Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!"
She left in a huff and when she was gone Marinette looked up at Adrien and asked, "Did you really mean that Adrien?"
Adrien smiled at her charmingly as he said, "Of course. I've never met anyone as amazing as you, that's why I love you."
Marinette then held his arm and smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder lovingly and said, "Oh Adrien."
Alya smiled tenderly and Adrien smiled lovingly as he said, "I'd do anything for you my lady."
Hearing that made Alya gasp in shock as she knew one other person who called Marinette that and she watched as she and Adrien shared a quick kiss. Adrien then walked away as Marinette watched him, then when he was gone Alya joined Marinette with a shocked expression.
She pointed in the direction he went while looking at Marinette as she asked, "Did he just call you…?"
Surprised that Alya was listening, Marinette smiled as she knew she could not hide the truth and said, "Yes. Adrien is Cat Noir, and he now knows that I'm Ladybug."
Alya was speechless for a moment but then she smiled in excitement as she held her head and said, "No way! This is so great! You two really are meant for each other!"
Suddenly Adrien walked back in and smiled as he said, "Thank you Rena Rouge."
Alya and Marinette gasped in shock as Alya asked, "You told him?"
Marinette was almost speechless as she asked, "No! How did you know?"
Adrien smiled as he calmly answered, "Nino told me his and your secret the day he was Akumatized into Rocketear."
Alya's face softened as she understood and Marinette curiously said, "Does he know your secret?"
Adrien shook his head as he honestly answered, "No. I kept both secrets to myself, but now that I know you both know my secret, I felt I should tell you."
Marinette smiled fondly while Alya excitedly said, "This is so cool! You two are finally together in both identities! I'm posting this on my Ladyblog!"
Marinette chuckled in an amused manner before they walked out, then she joined Adrien in front of the school. She got into his limo with him and they held hands as his bodyguard drove them to her home, where they both got out of the limo.
They kept holding hands as they walked in as Marinette said, "Mom, dad, I'm home."
Sabine smiled happily at them as she said, "Welcome home Marinette. Hello Adrien."
Tom looked at them as Adrien smiled and waved to them while saying, "Hello again Mr. and Mrs. Dupain-Cheng."
Tom smiled as he nodded to greet him and shortly after Marinette brought Adrien right up to her room, and when she was certain her parents weren't listening she brought him to the Miracle Box. All the Kwamis flew out, including Plagg and Tikki, and Adrien could not help but smile in delight and amazement. Plagg socialized with the other Kwamis before he snuck out to get some bread without being spotted, then he brought it back up and ate it with some cheese. Adrien and Marinette smiled as they sat together on her bed holding hands while they happily watched the Kwamis. The next morning, Marinette went to Adrien's mansion as she patiently waited at the gate, and Adrien convinced Nathalie to let her in.
When she walked in, she lovingly embraced Adrien before Gabriel came in and asked, "Adrien, what's going on here?"
Adrien held Marinette's hand as he smiled at his father and answered, "Father you remember Marinette."
He had a serious expression as he said, "Yes, your artistic classmate. What is she doing here?"
Adrien glanced at Marinette with a slightly nervous expression as he said, "I invited her to come over before we go out later today. We're going out to meet our friends, and then we're all going to a Jagged Stone concert tonight."
Gabriel stared at Marinette with a serious expression before he finally complied, "Very well. Enjoy your visit."
Adrien smiled with relief while Marinette happily shut her eyes while hugging his arm and he led her straight up to his room. While they walked Nathalie and Gabriel watched them and once they shut the door Gabriel expressed his disapproval.
He turned to Nathalie as he vented, "How can he fall for that girl? He should be with Kagami! Him dating this Marinette Dupain-Cheng will tarnish the Gabriel Agreste brand!"
Nathalie was calm as she stated, "I'm certain it will not last. From what I understand they've only been together for a few days. Be patient and I'm sure Adrien will move on from her."
Gabriel's expression softened as he said, "Perhaps you're right. Adrien will probably come to his senses and end his relationship with this Marinette in a matter of days."
He turned around and walked away, meanwhile Marinette was with Adrien in his room while Tikki and Plagg flew around. Marinette watched Plagg get a piece of cheese out of one of Adrien's drawers and chuckled in amusement as he ate it.
Marinette turned to Adrien as she commented, "Looks like Plagg eats as much camembert as Tikki eats macaroons."
Adrien was sitting at his piano as he smiled at her and added, "At least you have an easier time feeding her, I have to make sure Nathalie and my father don't find any of Plagg's cheese."
Marinette kept smiling as she glanced at Tikki and said, "Well, I do have to make sure she doesn't eat all of my parents' baking, or they might suspect something."
Adrien chuckled a little bit before he put his hands over the piano keys and said, "I'm dedicating this to you my lady."
Marinette was flattered as Adrien played a romantic song on his piano and Marinette could not help but blush as she held her hands together. He closed his eyes as he kept playing with passion while Marinette put her hands over her heart and let out a dreamy sigh. Meanwhile, Kagami was walking by herself through the park when suddenly her phone beeped and she opened an email she got to see a photo taken. She gasped in shock as she saw a picture taken the day before at school of Marinette on Adrien's arm as they smiled lovingly at each other. Kagami's mouth was agape for a moment before she closed it and stared at the image with a mixture of jealousy and disappointment. She took a deep breath before putting her phone away as she started walking, meanwhile Chloe was in her room with Sabrina when she received an email on her phone with the same image.
Chloe gasped before snarling furiously as she stared at the image and angrily asked, "What does he see in that baker girl?!"
Sabrina glanced around nervously before smiling and saying, "Uh… Maybe she's just his type."
Chloe stomped her foot as she glared at Sabrina as she furiously said, "But he should be mine! I deserve him! Not her!"
She then marched out of her room as Sabrina nervously followed her, meanwhile Shadow Moth was in his lair as his window opened and butterflies flew around him.
He stared out the window before clinching his fist while he evilly said, "Jealousy, hate, and self-entitlement? These are the ingredients I need to claim my victory and remove this girl from my son's heart!"
Shadow Moth plucked a single feather from his fan and held it in his left hand as it turned blue when he transformed it into an Amok. A butterfly landed in his right hand and as he clinched it and transformed it into an Akuma before it flew out of his palm.
He watched the Amok and Akuma fly out of the window while he smiled evilly and said, "Fly away my Akuma and Amok, and turn this jealousy into a vicious beast!"
The Akuma and Amok were flying over Paris together, coincidentally the person who sent the pictures to Chloe and Kagami had just hung up her phone. It was Lila Rossi, who sat in her bed with a malicious grin as she stared into space, realizing what she had just set in motion.
She got out of bed and started walking as she evilly said to herself, "Enjoy your time with Adrien, Marinette, because it won't last long."
Meanwhile, Adrien walked out of his house holding Marinette's hand as they walked down the sidewalk smiling at each other.
As they walked Adrien charmingly said, "So, how about some ice cream my lady?"
Marinette smiled happily as they kept walking and she said, "I thought you'd never ask. Alya texted me saying she and Nino are going to Andre with Luka, maybe we can meet them."
Adrien was pleased as he said, "Sounds good to me."
They were both unaware that Lila was hiding nearby as she listened to their conversation with a devilish grin before leaving. Meanwhile Chloe was angrily marching down another sidewalk with Sabrina following her nervously.
Chloe had her fists clinched as she kept marching and said to herself, "Out of all the girls chasing after Adrikins how can he pick the baker girl?! It's ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!"
She and Sabrina stopped walking when they heard Lila say, "It really is."
They both turned to their right to see Lila smiling deviously at them as she leaned back against a wall with her arms folded and her left knee out.
Sabrina was somewhat alarmed as she said, "Lila?"
Lila paid no attention to her as she walked to Chloe and said, "Adrian really does deserve so much better than Marinette."
Chloe agreed as she held up her palms and angrily said, "Yes! Thank you! Finally someone gets it! I should be with Adrian! We're meant for each other!"
Lila had a devilish grin as she glanced to her right while saying, "A shame Adrian can't see your true quality. He and Marinette are going to share some Sweetheart ice cream in the park, but they really aren't meant for each other."
Chloe then angrily stomped her foot and said, "I'm going to find them and give them both a piece of my mind!"
She stormed off while Sabrina followed her yelling, "Chloe wait!"
Lila watched with an evil grin and noticed the Akuma and Amok flying overhead, following Chloe, and then she started walking to watch. Meanwhile, Adrien and Marinette were still holding hands when they arrived at the park and spotted Andre's ice cream cart with Alya, Nino, and Luka standing nearby eating ice cream.
Marinette smiled as she pointed at them and happily said, "There they are!"
They started walking toward them but stopped when they heard Kagami say, "So it's true."
They turned to see Kagami staring at them as she held an ice cream cone with some melted ice cream in her hand.
They were both surprised to see her as Adrien said, "Kagami?"
She showed jealousy as she stared at them and said, "I saw the image of you two together, I didn't want to believe it but now I see it."
They were both a bit nervous as Adrien sincerely said, "I'm sorry Kagami but I've realized that I love Marinette. I still care about you but my heart belongs to her."
Kagami did not change her expression as she said, "I hoped you would change your mind, but I see now that you truly do love her. And I accept that."
Marinette was surprised as she said, "You're not jealous?"
Kagami kept staring at them as she honestly answered, "I am, but you are still my friend and I care about Adrien. I want you both to be happy, even if it means I might not be happy."
They both smiled as Marinette graciously said, "Thank you Kagami. I'm sure you'll find someone special someday."
Kagami was moved by her kindness as she smiled fondly, then Adrien and Marinette walked over to the ice cream cart to see their friends. Kagami watched them as she kept smiling for a moment before frowning in disappointment to express her jealousy.
Nino saw Marinette and Adrien coming as he said, "Hey the two lovebirds are here. Glad you could make it."
Marinette smiled as she waved at them and said, "Hi everyone."
Andre smiled at them as he happily said, "Yes! I knew you two were made for each other!"
Luka smiled fondly as he stared at them and agreed, "Yes. You are perfect for each other."
Marinette shot him a smile of appreciation for his support before Andre served the two of them some ice cream. Kagami watched before turning around and walking out of the park by herself as she proceeded down a sidewalk.
While she walked she sadly said to herself, "I always felt Adrien and I would make a wonderful couple. But I suppose it wasn't meant to be."
She kept walking until she heard something and she turned to see Chloe angrily running while Sabrina kept chasing her.
Chloe spotted the trees of the park as she furiously pointed in its direction and said, "There's the park!"
Sabrina desperately tried to catch up to Chloe as she cried, "Chloe stop!"
Chloe did not listen as she kept running and furiously said, "No way! Not until I punish Marinette for stealing my Adrikins!"
She kept running toward the park but Kagami protectively hurried in front of her to block her path and glared at her.
Chloe was somewhat intimidated at first before she angrily said, "Get out of my way!"
Kagami did not as she fearlessly defied, "Leave Marinette alone."
Chloe was shocked as she pointed at Kagami and said, "You're protecting her?! That's ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous! Why are you helping her?!"
Kagami kept glaring back at Chloe while she coldly declared, "Because unlike you, I'm not cruel and selfish."
Chloe then clinched her fists at her sides as she argued, "But you like Adrien too! Are you going to let that baker girl steal him from you?! She doesn't' deserve him!"
Kagami remained strong as she said, "You're right, I do love Adrien, but Marinette is my friend. I'm not going to ruin her happiness for my own benefit. And she deserves him far more than you do."
Chloe was offended as she gasped before poking Kagami with her left finger as she said, "How dare you! I deserve Adrien far more than she does, and you don't deserve him at all! You're even worse than her!"
Sabrina watched with worry as she clinched her fists while Kagami swatted Chloe's hand away and said, "I do deserve Adrien! Much more than you do! He may prefer Marinette to me but I know I am worthy of his love!"
Chloe then spotted the ice cream cone in Kagami's hand and smiled cruelly as she took it and said, "Well if you're so special why didn't he choose you! It looks like your dreams of being with Adrien have melted like this ice cream!"
Kagami was somewhat hurt but kept glaring at Chloe as she spitefully said, "Then I suppose both of our loves have melted thanks to Marinette."
Chloe gritted her teeth as she stared Kagami in the face while she hatefully glared back at Chloe while Sabrina became very nervous.
In his lair, Shadow Moth sensed their anger and jealousy as he smiled and said, "It seems I've doubled my power! Two girls with such intense anger, jealousy, and hate! A golden opportunity!"
Sabrina stood at the sidelines as Chloe and Kagami kept staring each other in the face and said, "Please calm down! Don't do anything you might…"
While she was talking the Akuma and Amok both flew down and she gasped in horror as they both flew into the ice cream cone Chloe took from Kagami. A split-screen showed half of Chloe's face and half of Kagami's face as glowing butterfly-shaped masks appeared over them both.
Shadow Moth smiled evilly as he spoke to them and pointed his finger while he said, "Gumyocho, I am Shadow Moth! The boy you both love has found another, but I will grant you the chance to prove yourselves and win his heart. I'm giving you the power to control others through singing. Anyone who hears your songs will be shown what you want them to see! And your Sentimonster Totem Stole will capture anyone who stands in your way and force them to obey you! All I ask for in return are Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous."
Chloe and Kagami both stared forward as they simultaneously said, "We will show Adrien who he deserves."
They were both covered in dark purple ethers which spread and changed them as it fused the two girls together while Sabrina watched in horror. While they were Akumatized a Sentimonster was also created, which resembled a floating dark blue tiki head approximately the size of a small trash can. The transformation was complete as Chloe and Kagami had been transformed into a colorful two-headed bird as big as an ostrich. They had long tailfeathers almost like a peacock's, long colorful wings, a plump body, two large feet with sharp talons, and long flexible necks like an ostrich. Chloe's head was on the right side while Kagami's head was on the left, both on the end of their long ostrich-like necks. They had a very colorful arrangement of feathers all over their body, consisting of purple, red, yellow, and green. Their heads and faces almost looked the same but their faces were yellow, Chloe's hair was blue like Kagami's, and Kagami had blue eyes like Chloe's. They also had bird beaks on their faces in the place of their mouths and noses as they stood still for a moment. The ice cream cone was now on their back, just behind their two necks and it was much bigger than it originally was.
Sabrina took a step back as she nervously said, "Chloe, everything will be okay. Don't worry. I'll…"
Chloe moved her neck closer to Sabrina as she angrily said, "You'll do what we want and help us prove that we deserve Adrien!"
Kagami showed a serious expression as she declared, "We will prove ourselves worthy of Adrien's heart and show him our quality."
Chloe then turned to Totem Stole and ordered, "Totem Stole, get her!"
Totem stole shot two blue lasers from his eye, and they hit Sabrina, making her disappear, then her head became a tiki attached to the bottom of Totem Stole.
Now a tiki head she stared forward like a zombie and said, "I obey you Gumyocho."
Chloe smiled cruelly while Kagami stated, "Now to prove ourselves to Adrien."
They flapped their wings and flew into the sky while Totem Stole followed them to obey their commands as the flew over Paris.
Commercial break
Adrien and Marinette were sitting on a bench together as they finished their ice cream while Luka watched with interest.
Adrien enjoyed one last spoonful before smiling at Marinette as he said, "Honestly, I don't see how things could be any better than this."
Marinette smiled in agreement as she happily said, "Me neither. Right now I feel like my life is perfect."
Adrien smiled charmingly as he took her hand and said, "Mine is perfect whenever you're with me."
She stared into his eyes as she dreamily said, "I feel the same way about you."
Adrien was so happy as he said, "We're going to be together forever."
Marinette's dreamy smile remained as she said, "I can see our future. You and me together in a house with three kids and a cat."
Adrien kept staring at her with joy, briefly glancing to the side while he said, "That's exactly what I was thinking. If we have a daughter I'd like to name her after my mother."
Marinette smiled lovingly as she said, "I'd love that."
Adrien smiled sincerely as he stared into her eyes while saying, "You remind me so much of her. When I'm with you it's almost like she's back."
She blushed as they both leaned closer to kiss, but then stopped when they heard a loud thump and felt a gust of wind. They turned and gasped in horror when they saw Gumyocho standing in front of them while Luka, Nino, and Alya all watched in terror.
Chloe and Kagami both moved their heads closer as they spoke in sync and seriously said, "Adrien!"
Adrien recognized Kagami's face and fearfully asked, "Kagami?!"
Marinette also recognized Chloe's face and nervously said, "Chloe?!"
They spoke in sync again as they exclaimed, "We are Gumyocho, and WE deserve Adrien!"
Totem Stole floated down and shot his lasers at Marinette, but Luka jumped in front of her and yelled, "Look out!"
The lasers hit him and he disappeared and turned into a tiki head underneath Sabrina's as Marinette gasped in horror.
Alya frantically cupped her mouth as she yelled, "Marinette! Adrien! Run!"
They both immediately got off their bench and started running as they held hands while Gumyocho watched them. Chloe then smiled sadistically as she looked at Nino and Alya before she sang like a bird, which put both of them in a trance.
Their arms hung limply at their sides while they both simultaneously said, "Chloe is better than Marinette. Marinette is ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous."
Kagami was not amused when Chloe stopped singing and then Totem Stole shot his eyebeams at Alya, then Nino. Both were added to the flying totem pole underneath Luka as Kagami looked at them with a serious expression before looking back at Adrien and Marinette.
She looked at Chloe and said, "We can't let them get away."
Chloe smiled arrogantly as she said, "Well then, let's fly."
They flapped their wings and flew after Adrien as they retreated on foot while still holding hands out of fear. Unbeknownst to them, Lila was watching nearby with an evil grin and her arms folded as she was entertained by this event.
Adrien turned to Marinette as he frantically asked, "What do we do? We can't transform with them following us."
Marinette held onto his hand as she urgently said, "We need to get somewhere safe!"
They stopped when Gumyocho landed in front of them and Chloe and Kagami simultaneously said, "Nowhere is safe from us!"
Adrien protectively stood in front of Marinette as he desperately stared at Kagami's head and said, "Kagami stop! I know you! You don't really want to do this!"
Kagami showed a reluctant expression until Chloe turned to her and strictly said, "Do you want to prove yourself or not?!"
Kagami then narrowed her eyes as she stared at Marinette and seriously said, "Sorry Marinette, but this my chance to find someone special!"
They both prepared to swing when Marinette urgently yelled, "Don't listen to their songs!"
She and Adrien both put their hands over their ears while running away as Chloe and Kagami shut their eyes and sang their hypnotic bird song. Adrien and Marinette kept running as they managed to block it out while other people heard them and were put in a trance before showing fear. Chloe and Kagami opened their eyes and stopped singing when they noticed Adrien and Marinette were both gone, and when they stopped singing their victims returned to their senses.
They all ran away in fear while Chloe angrily said, "They got away!"
She grunted in rage until Kagami looked at her with a serious expression and said, "Let's take to the sky. We can spot them from above."
Chloe smiled as she nodded and then they flapped their wings and started flying over the city while looking down at the streets. Totem Stole also flew with them as it awaited their commands with all of its captured victims beneath its head. Chloe spotted her half-sister Zoe walking on a street by herself, prompting her to chuckle evilly before flying down and landing in front of her.
Zoe let out a cry of fear as she said, "Chloe?!"
She smiled arrogantly as she said, "It's Gumyocho! Now Zoe what do you think of me?!"
She immediately started singing while Kagami showed an annoyed expression, and the bird song put Zoe in a trance.
She stared forward with her arms at her side as she hypnotically said, "You're much better than me Chloe. I'm ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous."
Totem Stole then shot his eyebeams and turned Zoe into a tiki head underneath Nino's while Chloe stopped singing.
She smiled arrogantly as she boasted, "Ha! Everyone pails in comparison to my perfection!"
Kagami glared at her as she said, "Our perfection! We are connected now! We share the same body and the same power!"
Chloe glanced down at their body before glaring back at Kagami as she retorted, "Well I'm the better half!"
They kept glaring at each other until their glowing masks appeared and Shadow Moth said, "Enough! If you want to prove yourselves worthy you must work together!"
Their glowing masks dissipated before Chloe angrily said, "Fine! But this conversation's not over!"
They took flight and started searching for the boy they loved and the girl they were both jealous of all over again. Adrien and Marinette were hiding in an alley when Gumyocho flew over them, but they clung to a wall and managed to avoid being spotted. They both sighed in relief before Tikki and Plagg came out of hiding and floated in front of their holders with concerned expressions.
Tikki was worried as she urgently said, "I knew Chloe and Kagami were jealous but I never imagined something like this would happen!"
Plagg was stressed as he agreed, "I agree with Sugar Cube! One of them being Akumatized would be bad enough, but both of them fused together into this two-headed bird?! This is cataclysmic!"
Marinette clinched her fists over her chest as she nervously said, "I know we have to save them!"
Adrien bravely smiled at Marinette as he said, "Then let's not waste any more time my lady."
She smiled as she nodded and they both looked at their Kwamis as they prepared to transform when suddenly they heard flapping.
Suddenly they heard both of Gumyocho's heads shout, "Oh Adrien…"
They both looked up toward the sky as Marinette fearfully said, "They're coming!"
Adrien narrowed his eyes as he bravely looked at Marinette and said, "I'll draw them away while you find a safe place to transform!"
Marinette was scared as she said, "But Adrien…"
Adrien smiled as he held her hands and said, "Don't worry, they won't hurt me. My only concern is for you."
He then gave her a quick kiss on the lips before he ran off while Plagg flew into his jacket, and Marinette couldn't help blushing before running in the opposite direction with Tikki. As she ran she passed Lila, who watched her with an evil grin before following her from a safe distance as they passed some other people. Adrien was running until Gumyocho landed in front of him and blocked his way as Chloe and Kagami stared him in the face.
Chloe smiled happily as she said, "Hello again Adrikins."
Kagami had a small smile on her face, "It's not too late to change your mind."
Adrien spoke sincerely as he held his hands up and said, "I'm sorry girls, but Marinette is my true love and nothing can change that."
They both expressed extreme disappointment as Chloe angrily said, "Then you'll join our collection!"
Suddenly the glowing masks appeared over their faces as Shadow Moth strictly said, "No! Do not harm him! You can still win his love! You only need to get rid of Marinette and then you can win him over!"
Their masks vanished as Kagami said, "Perhaps you'll have a change of heart when Marinette is a totem."
They both flew away with Totem Stole following them while Adrien watched, then he ran into a room where no one was around. He then transformed into Cat Noir and ran off in the direction Gumyocho and Totem Stole flew as he trailed far behind. Gumyocho was flying over Paris looking down at the streets but could not find Marinette as they grunted in annoyance.
Suddenly they saw Lila smiling evilly as she waved at them before pointing her finger as she said, "Gumyocho! Marinette went that way!"
They flew in the direction she pointed, and in his lair Shadow Moth smiled evilly as he said, "Lila Rossi always proves herself useful."
They followed the direction she pointed while Lila smiled evilly, meanwhile Marinette was running down a street with other people nearby. She made a dash for the entrance to a building when suddenly Gumyocho flew down and landed in front of her, blocking her way.
She let out a cry of fright as she stared at them and Chloe grinned devilishly as she gloated, "Going somewhere Dupain-Cheng?"
She backed away as they both stepped closer to her with Totem Stole floating overhead as he looked down at her.
Chloe smiled sadistically as she said, "Let's see if Adrien still wants you when you're a tiki head!"
Marinette focused on Kagami as she sincerely said, "Kagami please stop! I know you're jealous but we're still friends, aren't we?"
Kagami's expression softened as she showed reluctance and stared at Marinette with a conflicted expression.
Seeing Kagami's expression, Marinette sincerely pleaded, "You're better than this! You're not like Chloe! Don't side with her!"
Chloe angrily turned to Kagami as she said, "Don't listen to the baker girl! We want the same thing and she's standing in our way!"
A glowing mask only appeared over Kagami's face as Shadow Moth manipulatively said, "She's right, and once Adrien is yours you can still be friends with her."
Kagami then narrowed her eyes as she glared at Marinette and said, "Sorry Marinette, I can't let you stand in my way."
Marinette looked up and saw Totem Stole's eyes glowing but Cat Noir came and snatched her off the ground before jumping away. As he did this, he narrowly dodged Totem Stole's eyebeams and then he landed and gently set Marinette down on the ground.
Chloe and Kagami spoke in sync as they angrily said, "Cat Noir!"
He twirled his bo around before smiling at Marinette and she was flattered before she ran off and Adrien started fending off Gumyocho as he swung his staff at both heads. Marinette ran into the building and found the closest bathroom, where she immediately transformed into Ladybug.
Back outside, Cat Noir kept fighting off Gumyocho while he joked, "You know you two would make one strange swan boat."
Chloe glared at him as she angrily said, "Well we'll see if you make a good tiki head!"
Totem Stole prepared to fire his eyebeams until Shadow Moth angrily said, "No! You must take his Miraculous!"
They both obeyed before flying straight toward Cat Noir, only for him to swing his staff between their two necks and knock them to the ground.
They got back on their feet as Kagami glared at Cat Noir and said, "Surrender your Miraculous and stand down! You're not the one we want!"
Chloe agreed as she impatiently said, "Yeah! We want Adrikins and we'll make that baker girl pay for stealing him from us!"
Cat Noir twirled his staff before holding it behind his back while he smiled and said, "Don't blame the girl. Just because he loves her doesn't mean you two ladies are any less remarkable. Maybe you should let him decide who to date."
Kagami seemed conflicted while Chloe stubbornly said, "How do you know what he wants?! Marinette's brainwashing him and we'll prove it!"
Kagami became determined again as they flew at Cat Noir and hit him with both their heads, knocking him onto his back. They then landed on top of him and grabbed his upper arms in their feet as they pinned him down and stared at him.
They both lowered their heads and stared him in the face as Kagami fiercely said, "Let's find out if a cat always lands on his feet!"
They both took flight and carried Cat Noir in their feet before flying high in the air, but suddenly Ladybug's yoyo came and lassoed their necks. They both gagged as the string tightened around their necks and they dropped Cat Noir, who fell on his back.
He got up and smiled as he saw Ladybug holding her yoyo as she smiled and said, "Sorry to be late kitty cat."
They smiled lovingly at each other until Ladybug was catapulted through the air and slammed to the ground as Gumyocho swung their necks around. The yoyo's lasso around their necks also loosened when Ladybug slammed into the ground, but Cat Noir rushed to her and took her hand as he helped her up.
Cat Noir smiled charmingly as he tried to kiss her hand while saying, "Late? Early? On time? Anytime is perfect when I'm with you."
She giggled as she pulled her hand away and said, "As much as I enjoy your compliments we need to stay focused."
He smiled eagerly as he nodded and said, "Right!"
They both turned to Gumyocho, who came flying toward them as they simultaneously yelled, "Give us your Miraculous!"
Lila showed up and watched everything from the sidelines with an evil grin on her face as she watched them.
While she watched she sinisterly said to herself, "So I help Chloe and Kagami destroy Marinette and Ladybug. Perfect."
The two superheroes split up before watching Gumyocho fly away before turning around while Ladybug spotted the ice cream cone.
She pointed at it as she said, "The Akuma and Amok must be in the ice cream cone! Kagami had it when we saw her in the park!"
Cat Noir agreed as he hastily said, "Yeah! Chloe must've touched it when they both got Akumatized!"
Gumyocho swooped down toward them but they both jumped over the two-headed bird as they flew up before turning around and hovering in the air.
They both stared at them as Cat Noir asked, "Any ideas on how to get it?"
Ladybug was tense as she honestly answered, "I'm not sure, but we'd better figure something out before they sing again."
Ladybug then swung her yoyo at them and lassoed their left leg but they flew up and started to carry her up in the air. She hung on tightly when they suddenly turned and flew down toward her, tackling her down onto a rooftop. Ladybug lied on her back as the two heads stared down at her with hostility while Ladybug thought of something.
She flashed a sly grin as she said, "Wow Chloe, I never thought I'd see you share anything with anyone, especially Kagami."
Chloe was insulted as she angrily turned to away with a pout and said, "I don't share anything with anyone!"
Kagami turned and glared at Chloe as she strictly said, "You do now! We share a body! That means you and I are conjoined!"
Chloe opened her eyes and glared at Kagami as she argued, "Well, this is still MY body! You're just attached to it!"
While they were distracted Ladybug used both her legs to kick the two-headed bird girl off of her and sent it into the air.
She hopped back on her feet while Cat Noir jumped up to join her and said, "Good thinking my lady."
She showed a flattered smile and they watched Gumyocho land on a rooftop across the street and got back on their feet as they started squabbling.
Chloe glared at Kagami as she angrily said, "You see what you did?! You distracted me!"
Kagami stared her in the face as she angrily said, "I distracted you?! You fell for Ladybug's trick when we had her!"
The young superheroes watched with smiles as Cat Noir asked, "If they keep fighting like this, getting the Akuma and Amok will be easier than we thought."
Suddenly Kagami finally snapped at Chloe before they both turned to the heroes as she said, "Enough! We're attached! We have to stay focused if we're going to get their Miraculous!"
Chloe snubbed as she arrogantly said, "Fine!"
They both glared at the heroes while Ladybug said, "If we can get them to fight long enough we might get the cone, but we need a plan to do it."
Ladybug then threw her yoyo out toward them but Kagami caught it in her beak and held it in place while Chloe smiled smugly. Ladybug became nervous before they took flight while holding the yoyo and hoisted her right off the rooftop.
Cat Noir watched her with a worried expression as he yelled, "Ladybug!"
Ladybug screamed in distress as they made a loop and sent her flying as she crashed into Cat Noir and slammed him into a wall. He was on the ground as Ladybug looked down at him in fear before glaring at Gumyocho while she defiantly got on her feet.
She clinched her fists as she angrily said, "You can mess with me, but no one messes with my kitty cat!"
She whirled her yoyo as she jumped at them to attack, but Gumyocho flapped their wings toward Ladybug, creating a powerful gust of wind that blew he away. She cried in distress as she was sent flying over rooftops while Cat Noir came to and watched her with a worried expression. Gumyocho flew over him as they pursued Ladybug when she crashed onto another street and tumbled across it before finally stopping. She groaned in pain as she got up and then noticed Gumyocho landing in front of her as Chloe smiled cruelly while Kagami showed a shrewd expression. Cat Noir ran into an alley and watched for a moment as Ladybug stood in a fighting stance and defensively whirled her yoyo around.
She kept twirling her yoyo as she defensively said, "I'll never give up! Nothing you can do or say will make me!"
They flapped their wings and hovered in the air as Chloe smiled deviously and said, "Well then, let's sing!"
Cat Noir knew what was coming as he said, "Oh no!"
He frantically looked around while Gumyocho prepared to emit their birdsong, but Cat Noir spotted an open garbage can and smiled as he got an idea. She and Kagami both emitted their hypnotic birdsong as Ladybug was put into a trance and stared forward with her arms at her side.
As they kept singing she hypnotically said, "I will give you my Miraculous."
She started to reach for her earrings while Shadow Moth smiled evilly and said, "Yes! Music to my ears!"
In a nearby building, Lila was watching from a window with an evil grin, the walls were stifling the song so she was not hypnotized.
She watched Ladybug reach for her earrings as she wickedly said, "So I get a front row seat to Ladybug's destruction and I'll ruin Marinette's life too. I love days like this."
Before she could grab her earrings, Cat Noir picked her up and ran away from her with tissues stuffed into his ears to block out the bird song. He ran to hide with Ladybug, and when they saw he was gone, Gumyocho stopped singing and glared in the direction he fled.
As they glared into space Kagami angrily said, "That cat is going out!"
They flew in the direction they fled, and when Cat Noir stopped he held Ladybug in his arms as she snapped out of the trance and nervously looked at him.
Remembering what just happened she frantically said, "They hypnotized me! I almost revealed my secret identity and gave them my Miraculous!"
Cat Noir smiled reassuringly as he said, "It's okay my lady. I've got you. I'd never let anyone hurt you."
He put her down on her feet and she smiled gratefully as she said, "You saved me."
Cat Noir smiled as he took the tissues out of his ears with a charming smile as he asked, "Yeah, so am I your knight in shining armor?"
She smiled slyly as she said, "No."
He was shocked until she took his hands and lovingly said, "You're my prince charming."
She then kissed him on the lips passionately and he smiled in delight before she took more tissues from a trash can and put them in her own ears.
She then tapped his chest as she smiled and said, "Good thinking kitty cat. If we can't hear their song then they can't hypnotize us."
He smiled as he cockily put the tissues back in his own ears and said, "Yeah, and we don't need words to understand each other."
Reading his lips, she smiled before she swung from her yoyo and he used his bo to launch himself in the air. Gumyocho was flying over the city with Totem Stole flying with them but they stopped when Ladybug and Cat Noir jumped onto a street in front of them. They hovered in the air as they sang their bird song, but it did not affect Ladybug and Cat Noir at all as they smiled proudly.
When they stopped singing Ladybug pointed at the tissues in her ears and taunted, "Sorry! Can't hear you!"
Cat Noir smiled happily as shrugged and he held his palms out while he joked, "We don't care much for your music!"
Gumyocho glared at them as Chloe angrily said, "How dare they block out our song! No one ignores me!"
Kagami kept glaring at them as she stated, "Maybe we can't hypnotize you, but we can hypnotize everyone else!"
They landed on a rooftop and tilted their heads up as they emitted their hypnotic birdsong and everyone outside heard it. They were all under their control as they walked to them with hypnotized expressions and assembled on the streets. There were dozens of people, including students from their school as they all stared at Ladybug and Cat Noir, who were alarmed by this. While Gumyocho kept singing Chloe opened her eyes and looked at their minions with an evil look as Totem Stole flew over them. Totem Stole shot his eyebeams at Juleka, Rose, Kim, and Alix, adding their heads to the floating totem pole with the others.
Ladybug and Cat Noir were horrified as Ladybug fearfully said, "No!"
Chloe and Kagami kept emitting their birdsong as their minions held their hands out and hypnotically said, "Get Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous."
They started walking to them like zombies as Ladybug and Cat Noir stared back at them in fear while staying close to each other.
All of the heads of Totem Stole spoke together as they said, "Adrien deserves better than Marinette."
Ladybug held Cat Noir's hand as they courageously stared at the crowd surrounding them while Gumyocho kept singing their birdsong.
Commercial break
Chloe and Kagami kept singing their birdsong as their hypnotized victims closed in on Ladybug and Cat Noir with their arms out.
Cat Noir held out his bo staff but Ladybug grabbed his shoulder as she sincerely shouted, "No kitty cat! We can't hurt them! They may be under Gumyocho's control but they're still innocent people!"
Cat Noir looked at her over his shoulder as he raised his voice and curiously asked, "So how do we stop them?!"
Ladybug seriously stared at Gumyocho as she said, "We need to stop their singing!"
She threw her yoyo out while Cat Noir threw his staff, which hit Kagami in the face while the yoyo hit Chloe in the face. They both cried in pain as they stopped singing, freeing everyone from their control as they stopped and ran away in fear. Chloe and Kagami both growled in frustration then Ladybug managed to lasso the staff with her yoyo and pulled it back.
She smiled as she handed it to Cat Noir as he generously thanked, "Thank you my lady."
He twirled his staff around when Gumyocho came at them and Chloe and Kagami tried to hit him with their heads. He blocked them both with his staff before Ladybug lassoed them with her yoyo, and restrained their wings so they couldn't fly. She then jumped and kicked them with both legs, knocking them back before pulling them out of her yoyo's string and pulling it back with a proud smile. Cat Noir smiled charmingly at her and she blushed a bit as she smiled at him before facing Gumyocho as they got back on their feet.
From the window, Lila showed a vexed expression as she bitterly said, "The only person I hate more than Marinette is her."
Gumyocho flew toward them and flapped their wings to create a powerful gust of wind that blew Ladybug and Cat Noir back. They slammed into a wall while the tissues fell out of their ears before they both got back on their feet with Gumyocho staring at them.
Kagami showed a fierce expression as she said, "Whether we can control you or not we will have your Miraculous! You're outmatched!"
Ladybug smiled slyly as she asked, "Well then, let's see if we can even the odds!"
She smiled as she threw her yoyo in the air to use her powers as her costume changed while she exclaimed, "Lucky Charm!"
Her Lucky Charm then created a red speaker on a pole with black spots all over it, then it fell and Ladybug caught it.
She held it as she and Cat Noir looked at it with curiosity as she said, "A speaker?"
Chloe laughed arrogantly as she gloated, "Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!"
Cat Noir looked at Ladybug as he regretfully said, "Hate to say it, but she might be right. I'm not sure how a speaker will help us when we don't want them to sing."
Ladybug was uncertain but then noticed Gumyocho preparing to sing before she hastily said, "We'll figure out later! Right now let's leave before they hypnotize us!"
She used her yoyo to swing away while she held the speaker and Cat Noir used his staff to pole vault onto a rooftop. Seeing them getting away, Gumyocho angrily flapped their wings and pursued the two superheroes as they ran and jumped across rooftops. Lila also walked out of the building she was in and started walking down the street with an impatient expression.
Meanwhile in his lair, Shadow Moth smiled evilly as he stared into space and said, "Wonderful! Soon she will change back and reveal herself, and I will have her Miraculous! And Cat Noir will do everything to protect his love, and then his Miraculous will be mine as well!"
Ladybug and Cat Noir kept running and jumping across rooftops with Gumyocho flying after them with Totem Stole floating after them.
While they ran Ladybug's earrings beeped as she showed a tense expression as one of the dots vanished indicating how much time she had.
Cat Noir looked at her with a worried expression as he said, "We'd better think of something before you change back!"
As they flapped their wings Kagami fiercely yelled, "You can't escape us! We are swift, agile, and perseverant!"
Chloe agreed as she yelled, "Yeah!"
They were gaining on Ladybug and Cat Noir as they flew at them, but the two heroes jumped and dodged them. They turned and ran across other rooftops while Gumyocho turned through the air and started chasing them again. While they were running Ladybug glanced around to see if there was anything that could help her with her Lucky Charm. She and Cat Noir stopped when Totem Stole floated in front of them and blocked their way while Gumyocho flew and landed behind them.
Chloe smiled overconfidently as she gloated, "Now we've got you!"
She and Kagami prepared to sing their birdsong but Cat Noir jumped and swung his staff at their faces, knocking them aside. He smiled lovingly as he took Ladybug's hand and she smiled back at him as they avoided the eyebeams shot by Totem Stole. They kept holding hands as they ran together before Gumyocho got back up and they flew with Totem Stole after Ladybug and Cat Noir.
As they kept running Cat Noir looked at the speaker and suggested, "Maybe we can beat them with a song of our own."
Ladybug ran while she thought and uncertainly said, "Maybe but I don't see how that would help us stop them."
Totem Stole suddenly cut them off and shot his eyebeams at them; they dodged the eyebeams while running toward him.
They kept running toward Totem Stole while Cat Noir suggested, "Maybe I should use my Cataclysm on him."
Ladybug worriedly looked at him as she said, "No! We don't know what that would do to the people he's captured!"
He kept holding her hand as he looked at her and said, "So what should we do?"
Ladybug stared at Totem Stole as they came closer and looked over her shoulder to see Gumyocho gaining on them.
She smiled slyly as she got an idea and said, "I've got an idea! Let go!"
He let go of her hand and they split up as they passed Totem Stole before Gumyocho came flying and crashed into him. He hit their body between their necks and their heads slammed together before they got back up and showed annoyance.
Ladybug and Cat Noir jumped down to the street as they ran together as Cat Noir smiled and said, "Good thinking my lady!"
She smiled at him before staring forward as she said, "Thanks kitty cat. Now let's hurry and figure this out before I change back."
Chloe glared at Totem Stole as she angrily said, "You useless tiki head! If you were my employee I'd fire you just like my mom would!"
Kagami impatiently glared at Chloe as she said, "Enough! They're getting away! We have to hurry and catch Ladybug and Cat Noir!"
All of the heads of Totem Stole spoke in sync as they said, "And take their Miraculous."
Chloe then shut her eyes and looked away as she complied, "Fine! But all of you stay out of my way this time!"
Kagami was annoyed before they flapped their wings and started searching while Totem Stole followed them. Meanwhile Ladybug and Cat Noir stopped running near the river and listened as Ladybug's earrings beeped and another black spot vanished. They were both worried as they Chloe and Kagami's shouting and could see them flying over some streets nearby.
Cat Noir then showed concern as he said, "Maybe you should transform back and recharge your powers. I'll distract them."
Ladybug placed her hand on his shoulder as she sincerely said, "No. I won't leave you alone with those three! We do this together."
Cat Noir was still concerned as he asked, "But what do we do with your Lucky Charm?"
Ladybug glanced around curiously and then spotted an outdoor stage already set up for the Jagged Stone concert. Ladybug thought as she saw everything in grey and spotted several objects as she started to figure out what to do. First she saw two pairs of headphones, then she looked and saw a microphone, then she spotted a sound mixer. As she spotted these objects they were highlighted in red with black spots, then she looked at her speaker and it was highlighted the same way.
She smiled in delight as she got an idea and looked at Cat Noir while she said, "I know what to do! Come with me!"
She took his hand and he smiled happily as he went with her, trusting her with his own life as he followed her lead. As they prepared Gumyocho was searching for them along with Totem Stole as they grew frustrated and looked for them. They landed on the corner of a rooftop as they scanned the streets below and saw people, but none of them were Ladybug or Cat Noir.
Chloe then angrily shouted, "Where are those little insects?!"
Kagami glared at Chloe as she angrily said, "If we don't find them Ladybug will change back and recharge her powers!"
Chloe annoyedly glared at Kagami as she angrily said, "Thank you Miss Obvious! Why don't you tell me something I don't know?!"
Kagami kept glaring at her as she spitefully said, "I would, but there's so many things you don't know, I don't know where to start."
Chloe moved her neck and stared Kagami in the face as she angrily retorted, "Oh you think you know everything, don't you?!"
Kagami kept glaring at Chloe while she bitterly insulted, "No, I only know more than you do, which isn't much."
As they kept bickering Lila looked up at them from a sidewalk with her hands on her hips as she showed disdain.
She was quite annoyed as she softly complained, "If you two fought Ladybug and Cat Noir as well as you do each other, you'd already have their Miraculous."
Suddenly they heard Ladybug's voice over a speaker as she called out, "Hello? Gumyocho! Totem Stole! Still looking for us?"
They then heard Cat Noir's voice as tauntingly said, "Yeah! You want our Miraculous?! Well here's your chance to get them!"
They flapped their wings and flew in the direction of the sound while Totem Stole flew beside them and they went to the stage. Lila followed them on foot as she ran toward the stage, which was only a few blocks away and she arrived in time to see the confrontation. Gumyocho landed in front of the stage as Ladybug and Cat Noir stood on the stage in front of the microphone with their hands behind their backs as they smiled innocently. They had Ladybug's speaker plugged in, and they were hiding cordless headphones behind their backs as they waited for Gumyocho to make their move.
Chloe glared at them as she angrily said, "This game is over! There's nowhere to fun!"
Kagami also glared at them as she fiercely said, "Agreed! We won't let you escape this time!"
Ladybug smiled proudly as she turned to Cat Noir while she said, "You're right, the game is over. We're done running. Right kitty cat?"
He smiled at her before looking at Gumyocho as he agreed, "Right. If you want our Miraculous you'll have to take them from us. Why don't you sing your song and hypnotize us?"
Chloe smiled arrogantly as she laughed and gloated, "You two are bigger fools than I thought! You're ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!"
All of Totem Stole's heads laughed in strange hypnotized tones as they followed Chloe's lead while Kagami felt different.
She stared at Ladybug and Cat Noir suspiciously as she turned to Chloe and said, "Something's not right. This is too easy. These two are up to something."
Chloe was annoyed by her as she angrily said, "Will you stop being such a downer?! We've won! They know they can't win!"
Shadow Moth spoke to them as his glowing mask of light appeared and he smiled arrogantly and said, "She's right. Ladybug and Cat Noir are definitely up to something, but there's nothing they can do that will save them from your hypnotic song. Take control of them and bring me both of their Miraculous!"
Kagami then complied as she and Chloe both turned to Ladybug and Cat Noir and took a deep breath as they prepared to sing.
From the sidelines, Lila watched everything with disdain as she said, "Shadow Moth you are such an idiot."
They emitted their birdsong but Ladybug and Cat Noir immediately put their headphones on to drown it out. Ladybug immediately took the microphone and jumped in front of Gumyocho and held it close to their faces as they kept singing. The birdsong then sounded out of Ladybug's speaker, sounding very loud because of their close proximity to the microphone. The birdsong also sounded as an irritating reverb, causing Gumyocho to stop as they cried in pain and cringed from the sound. Even Lila covered her ears in pain as she bent over and cringed in pain, unable to block out the loud irritating noise as she gritted her teeth.
In his lair, Shadow Moth was angered as he said, "No!"
Ladybug then smiled as she gave Cat Noir a thumbs-up and he smiled as he jumped at Gumyocho and yelled, "Cataclysm!"
He used his power to destroy the ice cream cone, then the Akuma and Amok flew out of it as he and Ladybug took off their headphones.
Ladybug then used her yoyo and whirled it around while she heroically said, "No more evildoing for you two! Time to de-evilize!"
She caught both the Akuma and the Amok in her yoyo and pulled it back before releasing them as she said, "Gotcha! Bye-bye little butterfly and feather. Miraculous Ladybug!"
She threw her Lucky Charm into the air and swarms of her magic ladybugs flew around and fixed everything. Totem Stole disappeared and all of his captured victims were free as they returned to normal and looked around. Chloe and Kagami also returned to normal as they were separated and became human again as they looked around with confused expressions.
Ladybug and Cat Noir smiled at each other proudly as they pounded their fists while saying, "Pound it."
Kagami was somewhat confused as she asked, "What happened?"
Chloe then angrily pointed at Kagami as she said, "I don't know but it must be your fault!"
Kagami glared at her but then they both turned to Ladybug and Cat Noir as Ladybug said, "Actually it was both of you. It seems you let your jealousy get the best of you, and you both went out to get that Marinette girl."
Kagami's eyes widened as she remembered the argument and said, "Yes, I remember now. I was so jealous and angry because I believed that I deserved Adrien."
Chloe then angrily pointed her finger at Kagami as she said, "You don't deserve him and neither does the baker girl! He's mine and I won't let anyone take him from me!"
Cat Noir raised his finger as he respectfully glanced at Ladybug out of the corner of his eye while he said, "Hold on a second, maybe you should let the lucky guy decide for himself. Love's not a contest to win. We all choose who we want to spend our lives with."
Ladybug looked away with a blush, then Kagami wisely said, "You're right Cat Noir. We can't make Adrien love us, he must decide himself."
Chloe then angrily glared at her, Ladybug, and Cat Noir as she clinched her fists and said, "You're all ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!"
She then stormed off and Sabrina hurried after her, then Kagami smiled gratefully as she said, "Thank you Ladybug and Cat Noir."
They smiled at her but then Ladybug's earrings beeped and she waved as she said, "I'm about to transform back. Bug out."
She then used her yoyo to swing away and Cat Noir used his bo to launch himself as he followed her and Kagami smiled as she watched them. Lila watched everything with a bitter expression before she turned around and walked away with sheer displeasure.
In his lair, Shadow Moth held his cane in both hands as he stared out the window and said, "Enjoy your victory Ladybug and Cat Noir, because one day your good luck will run out. I know that I am far superior to both of you and deserve to have my wish fulfilled, and that is why one day I will have your Miraculous!"
The round window of his lair closed and it became dark inside as he remained in it with butterflies around him. Meanwhile, Ladybug and Cat Noir jumped down into an alley and glanced around to make sure that no one was watching them.
Ladybug smiled as she said, "Spots off."
She transformed back while Cat Noir said, "Claws in."
Marinette smiled as she gave Tikki a macaroon while Adrien fed Plagg a piece of cheese before putting them both away. Adrien and Marinette smiled at each other lovingly before they embraced each other in a warm hug and shut their eyes.
As they hugged Adrien lovingly said, "You're brilliant my lady."
She pressed her head against him as she lovingly said, "I couldn't have done it without my purr-fect partner."
He pulled away from her with a sweet smile as he asked, "Did you just steal one of my jokes?"
She blushed somewhat as she bashfully admitted, "Yes. They do liven up dull moments, but they're always better when you're around."
Adrien held her as he lovingly said, "I'm just glad they didn't hurt you. I know how strong you are but I always worry when someone wants to hurt you."
Marinette was touched as she smiled up at him and said, "Don't worry, I know I'm not invincible, but as long as you're here to help I know nothing will happen. We're a team, two halves of one whole, stronger together."
He smiled lovingly at her and inside his jacket Plagg loudly complained, "Ugh! Please stop! You two are so disgustingly sweet!"
Tikki popped out of Marinette's purse as she said, "You make it sound like a bad thing Plagg. They're made for each other."
Marinette smiled down at Tikki as she said, "Thank you Sugar Cube."
Tikki then sighed in annoyance before going back into Marinette's purse and closing it while Marinette smiled back at Adrien.
He smiled at her while he took her hand and said, "Come on, let's go find Nino and Alya."
She smiled as she walked with him and they both left the alley while holding hands as they proceeded down the sidewalk. As they walked, Lila was walking down the sidewalk across the street as she spotted the young couple with a vexed expression.
She kept glaring at them as she softly said to herself, "I swear Marinette, one day I'll make sure you lose everything and everyone until your life is empty and miserable."
Later that night, Adrien and Marinette arrived at the Jagged Stone concert, where they saw a huge crowd of people assembled. In the crowd were Totem Stole's victims, and Luka smiled as he noticed Adrien and Marinette walking as he smiled and waved at them.
They were greeted by Alya as she secretly said, "Hey, great job you two. You saved us all from being stuck together as living tiki heads."
Marinette chuckled and said, "It was a team effort."
Alya agreed as she folded her arms and commended, "Yeah. You know, you two look better together than I thought."
Adrien had a friendly smile as he said, "Thanks Alya."
She turned around and joined Nino, then suddenly Kagami came up next to Marinette and said, "You are lucky to have each other."
They both turned to her and simultaneously said, "Kagami!"
Kagami expressed guilt and regret as she explained, "I'm sorry for attacking you both earlier. I should never have let my jealousy control me."
Marinette forgave her as she kindly said, "It's okay Kagami. Chloe is cruel and selfish, she causes a lot of people to get Akumatized."
Kagami looked down in shame as she said, "Yes but I shouldn't have let my feelings get the better of me. You're both my friends and I do want you to be happy."
Adrien held his left palm out toward her as he sincerely said, "We want you to be happy too Kagami. As much as we love each other we still care about you."
Kagami looked back at them as she said, "Thank you Adrien, but I see now that your heart is hers, and I cannot make you love me. And I am at peace with that. You deserve to be with the girl that you love, and if that girl is Marinette then I support it."
They both smiled sweetly at her as Marinette kindly said, "Thank you Kagami. You're a true friend and I'm sure you'll find your own happiness someday."
Kagami smiled at them but then they were all startled when they heard Chloe shout, "Out of my way! Move! My daddy is the mayor!"
They turned to see Chloe coming toward them as she rudely shoved people aside to make her way through the crowd. She angrily came toward them with Sabrina nervously following them, bumping into a few people as she quickly apologized.
Chloe angrily stomped toward them and pointed her left finger at Marinette before pointing it out as she said, "You! I'm not letting you take what should be mine! Get your hand off my Adrikins and get out of here!"
Kagami then shoved Chloe back and stood between her and Marinette as she boldly said, "Leave Marinette alone!"
Chloe was shocked and then held her hands out as she angrily said, "What?! How can you defend her?! She stole Adrien from you too!"
Kagami remained brave as she glared at Chloe and selflessly said, "Marinette stole nothing from no one. Adrien has chosen her to be his and she makes him happy. He belongs to no one and Marinette clearly loves him."
Chloe was shocked as she pointed at Marinette as she said, "But she doesn't deserve Adrien! He's too good for her!"
Kagami kept glaring at Chloe as she said, "She does deserve him, it is you who don't deserve him because you are cruel and selfish. Don't ever lay so much as a finger on her or I'll show you how strong I truly am."
Sabrina hid behind Chloe in fear, while Chloe was also scared and they both backed away in fear as Kagami glared at them. They kept backing up until they were at the back of the crowd and some people stepped in front of them and they could no longer be seen.
Adrien smiled with appreciation as he commended, "Wow. Great job."
Marinette also smiled gratefully and said, "That was amazing! Thank you Kagami! I can't believe you did that for me!"
Kagami smiled at her friend as she said, "My pleasure Marinette. Now you two enjoy your night together."
She walked away while the music started and everyone started dancing happily as Adrien and Marinette smiled at each other. Sometime later, Jagged Stone was singing a slow song as people were arranged into couples and dancing together. Alya and Nino had their eyes shut as they danced together and next to them Adrien and Marinette were doing the same. Chloe was sitting on a bench with Sabrina as she bitterly folded her arms and watched her rival and crush dance. Luka and Kagami smiled as they watched Adrien and Marinette dance together from opposite sides of the dance floor.
As they danced together Marinette lovingly whispered, "I'm so glad that nothing will ever come between you and me, my prince."
Adrien agreed as he also whispered, "I know. I promise that everything will be fine my lady, our love will overcome anything."
The closing card showed an image of them dancing with Ladybug and Cat Noir kissing beside them while Shadow Moth glared at them both from the back. Chloe glared from the left side while Kagami smiled with approval and Tikki and Plagg floated beside both images of their holders.

Author's note: That's the end of this oneshot. Originally I was just going to have Chloe get Akumatized but then I decided it would be fun to have Kagami do it too. Despite how much they hate each other they both agreed they were jealous and wanted Adrien, and they both felt they deserved him. I thought it would be entertaining to have them fused together, and it was funny whenever they argued. I also gave them the name Gumyocho as a nod to Kagami's Japanese heritage. I also came up with Totem Stole as a fun Sentimonster to collect victims and turn them into talking heads. Now since this is in the "Ephemeral" timeline you know how it ends, but it's happier than the "Cat Blanc" timeline. I feel like this is what it might be like when they learn each other's secrets. This is maybe the night before Gabriel walked into Adrien's room and heard his conversation with Marinette, and you know the rest. Please review.
