Five months and still no leads but she feels in her heart that they are alive. Everyone told her once before that they were both dead and deep down it did not feel real. She will not give up on them then and won't do it now. She tried to search them starting in small towns in New York and even Canada but nothing. Laura, Lucky, and Spinelli have been doing their best searching even Anna is using her contacts but nothing. " Wherever you both are please be safe and come home or give me a sign to find you," Elizabeth whispers. She remembers the day her life exploded into chaos and they disappeared.
Flashback to January 2025
" How wonderful it is for you two to finally join us," Valentin says as he has a gun locked on them. " Ay yes, I see God's message has been delivered. As you can see dear nephew and Mr. Morgan we procured these two lovely participants we would have procured a third but you were able to get them to safety. How unfortunate for you that we managed to capture Elizabeth Baldwin and Jacob Webber. How fortunate for us that he was coming home for winter break as a surprise before we procured him." Cyrus says. Jason looks at them both and Elizabeth has a weight tied to her and Jake has zip ties on with a blindfold.
" Do not move or I will push her off and that would ruin all the fun. Seems she is too smart and stubborn for her own good. Figuring out who was behind Sam's death and how it connects to Lulu and Officer Dex. We have been watching and God told us to give her a chance to live she has earned it." Cyrus says. " What do you want with them?" Lucky asks. " We have a conundrum that she can help resolve. See she can sacrifice herself for you all but that would leave Aiden, Cameron, and Jacob without a mother and Mr. Morgan will lose the only remaining mother of his child he has left and leave you with no mother to your only child. Another option would be for her picks choose between Mr. Morgan and Mr. Spencer who lives. The last option would be one of you choosing to sacrifice yourself instead for her and Jacob." Valentin pauses as he removes Jake's blindfold and he looks at his parents.
" You see Mr. Morgan has been a thorn in my side. I attempted to eliminate him but he survived it and I have learned how close you and my dear Anna have gotten." Valentin says. "Tick-tock gentleman and no heroics or I push them both into this water and we kill you. They won't survive it below freezing and she will sink to the bottom of the harbor." Cyrus says. " You are both bastards you know that," Lucky says. Jason looks at Elizabeth and he can tell she is afraid for Jake she is looking at him with trust and he says " Elizabeth I want you to know it is okay if you choose to save Lucky just like you did after Emily died at Wyndemere." Jason says and he sees the realization hit her.
She eyes Lucky after and hopes he gets the hint that they are about to move because this is their own shot for all of them to make it. She jumps down and kicks Cyrus's legs and Jason dives and shoots him while Lucky aims for Valentin. Jake ducks and shields his mom. Cyrus has been hit Lucky kicks his gun away and Valentin is hiding behind a crate. " Untie them and get them out of here," Jason says. Lucky crawls to help while he takes his knife and cuts her rope and Jake's zip ties. As they try to unlock the chains on Elizabeth, they hear a grunt and it is Jason who has been hit. " Stay back" Jason shouts. He makes another attempt to get Valentin who starts to fight him and Jason is losing but before Lucky or Elizabeth can move. Jake attempts to tackle Valentin who dodges at the last second and Jason and Jake go over the ledge.
" No Jake Jason." She says as she tries to get to them but Lucky holds her back. " Let me go damn it," Elizabeth says. " You would not make it and trust that Jason will back him back. They are both strong Elizabeth." Lucky says and he hears footsteps and it is Dante and Anna. " Call 911 Jake and Jason went over the ledge and have not come up and Valentin got away," Lucky says. Elizabeth gets close to the ledge looking for life but nothing. Not again how did it come to this? She just wanted to clear her name but somehow that led to this. She would gladly lose her job if it meant Jake and Jason were ok.
Holyhead, Wales
" It is too early Dad turn off the alarm. It is our day off." His son Roman says. "I switched with Owen." He says. His son mutters something and goes back to sleep. They both woke up on a ship with no name and no memory. They were taken here and they ran tests on them to see if they were a match seeing the resemblance and to see if anything popped up but nothing. So he went with John and he went with Roman and they used the last name, Smith. They work in a garage where John is a mechanic and Roman handles the books and other odd jobs around the place. They try to stick together and work on the same days. He may not remember his son but he knows he would give him life for him.
