Chapter 56: The Mission Begins And Permanent Farewells VI
"Till we decide to reactivate you." his Army counterpart, William Francis Maynard added to him. "Here's the real reason for the transfer dad, with my knowledge of understanding Teal'C's rules. Rules of engagement, we can use it against him, I have to create a better, more advanced regime. And do away with the SGC ways of training, so he never knows, in the next 10 months, what is going on up here, after the guys."
"And Claire were murdered, before he got arrested by Sokar, so 10 months to a year. That's where I come in, new training, and we fix the kinks in the armor here now, for the cubs: Entrance into the academy is the same way on the show, you need an entrance exam, get all the questions right, the no winner exam. And you pass the tests, you're in, and the quartet that you took in, are the ones getting that test now."
"But as their parents are possibly all under my command, they know this, as my name is all they hear in being a mentor here, they respect. But it's that way for Emilio's character, before Jeff took over, that's me entirely now in their cases, Colonel. But this is outside the academy system, once they pass the entrance exams. Into the academy, based on everything I know, such as the Barque of heaven, they pass that now."
"That questionaire, all vocal questions, the training begins now, in truth here, as that's provided. In getting into the academy, as this is just the beginning, I provided the added exams for entry. Once 18, the training intensifies now and the fun, in their eyes, truly begins." he said and he swallowed hard. "As you hate science fiction here that much in truth now, the cadets, and out of 150 recruits, the ones that wash out."
"Of training, are all your worshipers now, but the 120 all love the academy and want to stay there, stay learning everything for real now. Our mandate, aside from search and retrieval is Ancients and advanced beings, we're covering the races and Q now. So as they're your worshipers, and failed academy training, they wash out of Starfleet. And then get sent here, as they see it, but mixture of Emilio and Jeff, that's me."
"In the 30 I'm training, and they love the training, as the volcume becomes the colored flag, and there's explosions. And intars going off every which way you look at it now, as they work out a fast strategy here. And then take them out, as they get the flag and game over, can you make it so real here, they see it as fun. And as the real thing, think it over Rico and Florez were using their training at school, applied it."
"And to the academy, and soon there the ending results were they survived longest. Out of their team next to his new best friend, after he lost his flanks, one of them was the officer. That asked him on their lieutenant, the other said best friend himself, but your training here. Said is severely flawed, because Apophis knows it all and taught it to Kyle." he said and the duo both paled, now realizing then they never thought of security.
In remembering the warzone they walked into 2 months earlier than at the time. "And I'm using that against him, as I'm recalling Kyle, Nelson and their teams." he said and they went white in shock. "And there's the you we all know and love, knowing like any coach, you're only stern, because you care, want us to succeed, we are your star pupils now." The District hockey captain said and he nodded, as the boy's surrogate twin sister hugged him tightly.
"Three stages training, they're on their own, or repeated scrimmages, various SG missions, the final stages are a foothold on the base, or the base got compromised. Like you saw, trying to get through the SGA undetected." he said and they went white as a ghost then. "Yep, and what I said in the locker room was code for what your mother told you, without even realizing that we walked right into each other." his father said with a smile then.
"Better make it 5 now, 5 stages of training, the last is when you're 37, as we get Skaara and his friends off their planet, and with them the Abydonians now." Hammond said and he nodded. "And you made an even better teacher then you were expecting after we saw them in going to security detail, in case we have further trouble dropping in. Before I came to investigate right now, my being your best friend here now." Lou said smiling and he nodded.
"Yep, so 3 years of training, our young cadets are all 15 to 18 years old, and by then, the real cadets are all 21 years old, so now what exactly, what three years of training does. But remembering everything we taught them, they're going to survive a real warzone now. They been in the academy training, since they started high school right now, but I guess you never knew this now, but acceptance into the academy."
"And that is a very young teenager, at 14 years of age, you can get in by academic records, taking an entry exam here now. So why was Wes having to do it 3 years in a row." he said and Jack went white in shock then. "Well the reason though an academy cadet, he found he learned better in OTJ." he said and they swallowed hard. "On the job training, we learned this, before we went to the academy." Jenny said smiling in pride then.
"Now that makes the training more fun, you're not alone, but are training against various teams, nice idea son, I couldn't think of better here now." Hammond said smiling and Kerrigan smiled, knowing his cadets were going to love this. "Yeah but Michael, I'm taking exactly as first decided, the best and brightest here. Because it's not about how fast you are, but the amount of correct decisions you make." he said and he nodded.
"But with them this young, it's they never had to pull the trigger for real, do that they lose their innocence, so they use it. The more advanced intars, gives the same feel, but they never killed anyone." he said and Jack swallowed hard at that that remark, realizing his training strategies were spec ops, not being a skilled scientist who could. "Damn it Jack, they're cubs, babies, they still have their innocence, so until they get out of training."
"And are close to being ready to go off training mode to real, the intars are staying in training mode, so they never lose their innocence here, but you been jaded. And by too much bloodshed, and by being in combat, these children are not facing true combat till now. We have it come to us, but you are total hardass, thinking as they didn't do as you wanted, that they're not ready here, they'll be ready later here.l
"I guarantee that, but conduct themselves as though this was the real thing, well let me tell you here. That you can't get anymore real then a foothold situation, like the game headsets, Etana used on the crew. That's the point, of all the ships that are the nest why did it have to be their own, as this is the worst damn nightmare. And of any cadet officer, the ship and crew in question is their own." he snapped ant him sternly.
And he started shaking in fear. "Billy's reaction to realizing it." Stewart said sternly and they all went white in fear. "Ouch, yeah good point there baby, it's training, training is supposed to be fun, but throw it in. In your old school teacher and you apply, what you did in high school, and it results. In the respect of your commander, who was more than proud of you." Matheson said smiling and Landry and Picard nodded then gently.
"Starship Troopers." Teal'C said in understanding and he nodded gently then. "You're coddling these guys way too much with endless simulations. They want a real challenge and Daniel just gave it to them, via his training experience." Hammond said sternly and Jack went white, realizing he never saw the junior teams as teams. "But still teenagers, kids, there's why here, they're teenagers, padawans, players, to an adult coach."
"There's why they look up to us, we're a skilled whatever specialist, as they take what we teach them, us them, and as Yoda proclaimed here, when the student teaches the teacher. That the partnership is correct, it's a perfect match." Jackson said with a smile. "The kids, that's Skaara and his friends, figured out how to use the guns, and he freaked out. On that after Charlie suggested they help us, it's Charlie." Lou said and they nodded sternly then.
"Well said student, I just walked right into her, and her best friend, they, one of Ted Orion's new ducklings and their quartet, are the first now." he said and Hammond nodded as Maynard nodded with a chuckle at that news then. "These kids are just out of high school graduated cadets, they want a real challenge. And instead of endless simulations, and whoever it was gets her wish, if her parents are on board the ship."
"She's where she belongs, happy, fully energized and ready to put her inquisitive young mind. And to the task of being an excellent pilot, marksman and scientist now, so why bore her with coming here, it's you're coddling her way too much, boring." Daniel said and they swallowed. "Good point and I have just the cadet for you, Dan, Cadet Jennifer Hailey." Brigidaire General Michael Kerrigan said and Landry nodded smiling then.
"Jen's bored, Sir?" Daniel asked and he nodded. "Yeah I am, too easy there, I want a challenge here right now." She said and her quintet nodded. "They just graduated from high school, turned 18, but the academy is not providing enough. And of a challenge here, it's too boring, she wants more to do." he said and Daniel nodded then. "I can provide that, and she excels and graduates the top of her class." he said and Landry chuckled.
"You remember what you walked into when you came back two years ago, 13 months you had no idea what I was teaching Skaara and his friends. Well with the earthbound cubs, it's all that and more, your nickname for me took on a whole new meaning, well dad is Sean. At his current age now, but under Sean's remark of training, is I find if I sit down and think. And the solution presents itself, there is always an answer."
"And without a gun going off, as Bra'tac showed. But under Bra'tac I became the most level headed human Jaffa here that ever came out of the SGC now, and following me are my friends now." he said and he swallowed hard at that news then. "But he drops in and it's greeting him like one of his own, and he sees me as he sees Teal'C. A very, very dear friend, a son, and his apprentice, combining two areas of training together."
"But after Kyle, the level of training is flawed in so many ways, we need to update it." he said sternly to this. "You trained Larry, and he was forced to train Kyle." he said and they swallowed hard at the news then. "Larry never died in vain, after seeing what we walked into, it's now countermanding the training. In using tactics Apophis has never seen before, which is why I have to go, now here, before he attempts that again."
"And we get attacked by another teenage training camp, owned by him, how do we know he never had more then one exactly?" he asked and they both went white at that. "Yeah that's a frightening thought right now, how do we know it was just us exactly, there could be dozens of camps like us right now." Kyle said and Picard nodded in agreement then. "Exactly son, as such here, first lesson, is switched." he said and the trio nodded, smiling then gently.
"On various planets, yeah that's another good example to leave, just so we can see if there's more then one here. Connor died after he trained them, they learned enough to act like cadets, though watch the attitude, you're breaking ranks, young man." Haden said and Landry nodded in agreement to his opinion. "If there's more just like us, we can create the weaponry to training for you guys, maximum is like the phasers." he said to him then.
"So 1) is we have to get more medicine, 2) to change cadet training to bypass Apophis's cheating and 3) is Pelops." Addison said sternly and they went white in fear at the news, realizing it created multiple reasons for him to leave finally. "Well, funny thing about it, this new information, is all of these are providing a new recovery. And safer environment to heal from, are all such good reasons to transfer him to you, Hank."
"You and Vance, as this gets him away from these guys, the ship is fully fortified city, 6 cities long now. And has everything an adult or teenager wants now, in the areas of being a scientist here, on the edge. And of being a Dan Akyroyd fan, in terms of personality, to the John Candy ways of life." Hammond said sternly then and Jack paled then, now realizing Daniel was Dan Akyroyd to his John Candy, and everything he saw as safe.
It was to Daniel, he saw it as pointless and boring to his way of life. "That there is no point in arguing, it's our decision, and these little brats are all Colonels and Captains. So there it is, you never brainwashed him, you gave him acceptance and a fresh start now. A place to belong, SGA/Enterprise D, are completely diversitized and are adopted family. And to each other." Adam said and the trio smiled and Sarah hugged him tightly at that.
"What he sees as living is, to us, completely boring, look at you, you're Dan to his John Candy, you're not spending all your time in endorsement deals. But 25% on missions and trade deals, 75% home here, training the kids, helping me update our museum. That in truth, I always your knew parents are what Dan was masquerading as here as we grew up. And in a completely different way, but then the bloody bastard is a savage." She said and Jack jerked at her remark.
"Agreed, he would see going camping as living, no to us is going to Europe, enjoying the culture, a night on the town, we go to the Orpheus, go see a movie. There's our idea of living now, that you're absolutely right baby, we should have gone to Europe. To Delhi, or to the Middle East, we'd have had a lot more fun right now that way." he said and Sarah nodded smiling, knowing repeated vacations he was going to take them to cultures they studied back in their heydays.
"There are things here you never thought of out of your desperations to protect yourselves, the bastard knows earth training tactics of the late 20th century!" Daniel snapped at him and the quartet all broke out in sweat. "But what of training of 370 years into future, as he sees something he never believed possible. Why is one military still primitive, the other so beyond advanced, they can countermand his tactics."
"And destroy his attempted attacks?" he said and the brass nodded then firmly. "Oops, yes and the reason why is he now realizes there are only two people. That could provide that answer and they got moved to the blue soldiers, said carrying intar rounds. Only the intars are now so advanced, they feel like real bullets here now. The blue soldiers are living in a 1,000 mile wide outpost, holding the planet's only line of defense."
"And with multiple weapons and ships on board it, holding the Ancient's weaponry." Landry said sternly and Daniel nodded. "The blue soldiers, we are blue, the SGA is blue command, and soon everyone starts doing business with blue teams, containing two members of the most well known unit ever." he said and Landry nodded smiling. "SG-1 is beyond famous, only half of SG-1 got transferred to the blue uniformed base."
"And they, the system lords, then see that the blue teams never challenged them, so why attack, we leave them be, and Teal'C is pardoned." he said, smiling sternly then. "And this is why we both left the current show, and moved to the new one, along with Cam, and our counterpart, as we add Patrick, Beau and Diane to it." he said and Wright nodded smiling, in agreement, knowing what the test on the foothold needed to be changed to.
"So there's the reason I left the current tv show, I'm not dead, instead I'm reassigned to the other command, under the command of Patrick and Beau now. So Season 6, my disappearance now here, is I left SG-1 for a year, but her sister show now. I'm there full time now here, pretending to be a Q, as I heal the damage to my body done. And via whatever." Shanks said smiling and Daniel nodded in agreement as he answered that.
"New future, better life now, so this is completely new canon, answering questions to why you, as yourself left SG-1. And came back a year later, answer: you decided to here now that, instead of soul searching. You're staying with your new family, that family is at the Enterprise, the team and our family, the Gardeners." Daniel said to him then. "Knowing you're recovering it helps here now." he said and they nodded in agreement.
"Global warming is about to becoming a thing of the past now, water purification technology, to deal polluted areas, air pollution, water and destroying litter now." he said and Landry smiled as he patted his back smiling. "So what does interference at the climax of your healing process cause?" he added and Guinan explained that to him gently. "Intense interference erases everything, but just minor now, little tidbits of information are fine here."
"But our more advanced technology, said is healing your body, as you're getting stronger everyday now here, but if you chose to blast our sith like system lord. That resets your memories, for up to 3 months, and then reactivates everything." she said and they smiled. "So before the SGC find him, we have to and then, once the 3 months are up, everything is up and running again!" Cam said in delight and she nodded.
"Yes, but if Morgan decides this the recalls are going to land on a vital memory that memory is the one now. That results in what he became in 2 years, since this betrayal now, his instincts are going to 'say don't trust. Just leave me alone' in these 3's case, but to George and Teal'C, yes they're safe." She said to him gently. "Yeah and with a little help from the system lords, my memories return." he said and Picard nodded, smiling then.
As Daniel crossed his arms as he made it clear then firmly. "Ahh crap, yeah I never thought of that baby, Apophis kidnapped 11 and forced them. To teach him our training, so SGA, he never kidnapped an SGA team. To know the training was flawed, so we can catch him by surprise, he's been out of action for close to 11 months. If he's still alive, he doesn't know we found the weapon, or that the SGC split into two sides now.
"And we got him on the run, by SGA academy training!" Addison said in fury and Jack swallowed hard at that. "Kyle, I never thought of Kyle here till now, we can use that against him and we got him on the run. As your two years of SGC training was just used against the more primitive ways. Fully updated with living in a base, shaped like a ship and the resident living quarters, with the cadet areas blocked off to them."
"As they go what you decide, and now the show got a hell of alot more, in interesting, you're Billy in every sense of the word." Hammond said and Daniel nodded. "Well there it is, if all the teams are coming, we have a fully functional training academy. Said up and running, there at the outpost, providing scenarios now. Said that are beyond our wildest dreams, and enough the training turns so real, it's not till the gun goes off."
"That we all realize, it's training, with the intar rounds." he said and Landry and Picard nodded sternly. "The holodeck, can turn it so real it's training with more advanced intars." Picard said to that gently, smiling then firmly at that news. "But the first non canon episode after your cliffhanger, shows in clear detail. What staying here would result in, and instead shows the side effects, said foothold situation, it gets into Davis."
"And could get right into the joint chiefs, that happens, it's a line drive right to the president!" he said to him and she went white in fear, never thinking of that at all. "Oh my god, these aliens are like my movie!" Sutherland snapped in shock sternly and she swallowed hard at that. "There's why I have to leave, no me here, it's only him that catches her, but is exposed, as the alien impersonating me, is trying to play dumb."
"So Michael, just go with that, the real me would never do that, she's willing to allow a foothold to go through. Just to protect herself, as Jacob would later tell me, no one's life is more important than the majority. For the greater good, sacrifices must be made, mine is leave and we stand a better chance." he said and they nodded sternly. "And there's another good reason, no you here and only the SGC/NID get hit."
"And with them Davis, but not the joint chiefs, and outside military here. Or the SGA, because no you it never rose all the way to the admirals. That happens they can't trust anyone in the mountain, or in this case the ship." Landry said sternly to that news annd Daniel looked ant her in shock then and she swallowed hard. "So you're willing to risk it growing out of the base to protect yourself." he asked and she and Jack went white in fear.
"Yeah she's screwed now, she's so desperate, she's willing to let the drug grow right out of the base, and get into the other areas, that crossed the line so far down. There is no coming back from this." Barnes said in stern disgust at that news then and Levy nodded in fury then. "The you I know is dead, my you, my best friend, just where is my best friend. "And when I need her most, as such here, like I'm the narrator, he had a you for himself."
"It was them against the world, as they added 2 more members of the gang, but seems here. Loyalty lasts till some idiot black ops, never lets go of the fact they're not indestructible. And then all loyalty gets thrown out the door, and you become everything you swore to destroy." He said and she swallowed. "Your anger and your lust for power have already done that, you allowed these bastards to twist your mind."
"Till now, now you become the very thing you swore to destroy." he said and then let rip at her, with the sternest bashing he ever gave anyone then and they nodded. "Here it comes, Commander Jackson just came out now." Davidson said sternly and Haden and Barnes nodded then firmly. "The whole concept here of gathering this technology was to protect everyone on Earth, all of Earth, not just this country, but this is like the bio weapon."
"That McClintock was creating, even though they had the serum now. He was still going to nuke the town, these people are so corrupt. They'll kill anyone for the perfect weapon, real or viral, and like Dustin's character. I'm doing everything I can to stop it, but looks like you finally crossed over, I can't believe you're this blind. Not to see the truth standing right in front of you, that if they don't get the president to over rule it."
"They're going to kill him, how can you not see that, our boss is endanger!" he shouted and she swallowed hard. "So our boss is expendable to save your own ass!" he shouted in fury and she went white at that, realizing that's exactly what she just said to him. "And it's because of what you done and what you're planning to do, there's nothing left of you to save: The you I know is gone, in it's place is Darth Caedus." he said and she went white in shock. "Whoa, well you deserved that, Captain, a Sith is selfish, they only care about themselves, a Jedi are selfless, they only care about others. But you crossed over, you're one of these sadistic bastards now." Lou said sternly to that remark.
And as Hammond crossed his arms sternly at that and she started shaking in fear, now knowing she was screwed here finally then. "I don't want to hear it, there is no excuse for this, you and Frasier, there is no coming back. And from this, I wasn't lying when I said I'd rather the final dose finished me off, and instead now. Uncle Brandon gave me an alternative, one that takes me away from this hellhole right now, a chance to live life."
And to the fullest again, you realize here this was their biggest fear, the quartet and their parents, Teal'C and dad. You realize what this means now to them, to them the choice has been made now, I'm free of you idiots. A choice where I never been more thrilled at, did you forget already here, they were scared here that I would just give up now at the time now. Sha're is gone, there is no reason to stay here now.
"And when you three effectively stabbed me in the back, I'm free of you now and I can move on with my life here?" he asked her sternly then and the cast crossed their arms, as his version, trying to hold it in, wiped the tears off their faces in relief. As Lou sat down in relief, feeling the tears of happiness pouring down his face, relieved it never happened then. "Lou, Charlie, if he was alive, Annie, Jared and David, their parents, Teal'C and dad now."
"You realize what my acceptance of the job that fast means to them?" he asked and she started shaking as the 20 crossed their arms and knowing that was never a bluff, but true then. "Not a bluff I meant it, there is nothing here for me now, you three effectively stabbed me in the back, that's why dad is sending me away. Personal time off, became reassignment now, and a reassignment is enough the Army and Navy, in truth.
"Were never more thrilled I took the job, their best archeologist, staying, only I'm now on the Navy payroll now starting now. Look at them right now, they knew I meant it after you stabbed me in the heart 24 years ago, only now it's different, flashback to my parents. But the SGA, or the Enterprise, that team became friends, those friends became a family, so a new team, a new family, a family we created."
"And all our own, you call it brainwashing, I call it fresh start, but I just bring along some of my family and it truly is my family, the quartet, Teal'C." he said and she started shaking in fear, as Teal'C gripped his shoulders and he leaned against him then, with a brotherly look of trust and Lou, Warren and Parker smiled then sternly. "Don't you dare say it, the only one corrupted here is you, upon seeing my favorite series is real, I realize the expanse of the truth. That truth is, the SGC is nothing, but a playground for NID forces, persecuting good people. Just to shove them into exile, so nothing stands in their way, of planetary domination, well I just arrested the ring leaders." he said and she started shaking in fear then, never thinking that's how he saw them.
Now, as he went on. "So you're saying our boss's life is expendable, in order to save ourselves, just to save ourselves. Turn over our planetary inhabitants, just to get the pain to stop or what not, you sell out our own people. Yeah you're a traitor now, you're traitor, you're going to sell us out now?!" he said and she went white at that, realizing that's exactly what she just said, as she looked from him to Hammond and Carson.
"Is everything expendable to save our own asses here!" he shouted at her and Jack went white in fear then, realizing that's exactly what they just said then. "No, no people, our lives are expendable to save our species, we're expendable, they're not!" he said, shaking in fury, and she started shaking in fear, now realizing what she become had completely ticked him off. "Lock these guys up and throw away the god damn keys!" he snapped at this truth.
And Hammond nodded then, sternly, in shock and total disgust at what they decided then. "Bunch of traitors, your self preservation matters more to you then our entire planet. Yeah you crossed over alright, you're one of them now, you're a god damn Sithlord now." he growled and she swallowed hard, realizing what she decided to protect herself, had completely disgusted him. He never felt more loathing for her, then he did now, in the truth.
That was coming out, her and Jack, they were traitors now, in his eyes, he, to her, had truly had been brainwashed by the brass now, and his eyes narrowed sternly then. "You call I been brainwashed, I call, I'm taking my job too god damn seriously. In defending against all enemies foreign and domestic, guess where you fall into here people. Because this attitude, you're a traitor, you're crazy, dangerous and a loose cannon on deck."
"As Billy said, you're the empire, well we're the rebellion alliance!" he said sternly then and she swallowed hard then. "To quote Simba after she said he's not the same man she remembered. Well you're right I'm not, I'm getting remarried and starting a family. I have a job I love. I'm home all the time, training my students and doing what I'm being paid to do now, but you're a traitor, but if we have to deprogram you."
"To knock some sense into you, so be it." he said and she paled, now seeing what she become, he saw it after their stupidity. That she been truth brainwashed, realizing to them, she was the one that needed deprogramming. And by psychiatric ways, which was, if Boen's double was there wad the same as Linda's psychosis. "Not brainwashed, I never took my oath more seriously then I did now, you tramp." he snarled and she swallowed hard at that.
"So to you, my taking my oath more then seriously is considered brainwashing to you, I'm willing to consider myself expendable. To stop Apophis, Hathor or whoever, even risk a lethal dose of radiation, to save billions, you call that brainwashing. Yeah you lost your mind alright, my life for billions, even trade." he said and they swallowed hard. "Bunch of cowards, 20 men run from 4!" he quoted sternly and she swallowed hard then,
Now realizing she'd become a total coward, but it was only to save herself from further conversion, but to Daniel she had lost her mind finally. "Where is the courage to attempt the unknown, where is the courage to protect earth here. Or is it, stay away and use bombs now, do the job without facing your demons?" he asked her sternly then, and Carson crossed his arms, knowing she became Jack, only in post stargate form at that news.
"Dear god right now, tell me I didn't hear that, it's screw everything we're trained to do. And for self preservation, tell me I didn't just hear that?" Schular said and they started shaking as the 2 medical teams nodded in shock. "Afraid so Case', they admitted it, everything is expendable here to save themselves from further assimilation, even if that means assassinating our boss, so be it." Daniel said to this then, sternly in disgust.
