Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: This story is going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 92: Changes And The Search For Camelot VII
"The lord passed judgement on your cruel act two years ago, during Hathor, by going to what Colonel Maybourne decided. As anything, as you say, goes: your soul, your virginity, your friends family, for a way to protect the United States, rather then Earth. Yes very well, very well then, then anything goes and what went is your virginity, and half your genomes. Did you not take the message, to get you off this path, before you destroy yourselves?" she said and he paled then.
"The lord passed judgement on us, by Shyla's kingdom, no wait a minute, reverse it, change us back please, change us back, we take it back!" Jack said, shaking in fear and she shook her head sternly. "So you see that what you did, sexual assault, attempted murder 3 times, doesn't deserve this punishment for years to come Colonels?" she asked and they started shaking violently in fear, as they saw the entirety of the military brass and Hammond cross their arms.
"You did this to yourselves gentlemen, now he gets the last laugh, there is no cure albeit one, the sarcophagus itself, so you three are stuck like this, for life." Rosen said and they swallowed, "Your cruel acts can not be undone, gentlemen, just like the effects of the elixir can not be, you are half earthling now, for all eternity, Colonels." she said and they started shaking in fear, now realizing Daniel was her chosen, for the next human angel, and they been struck down.
"Sexually assaulted him, tried to kill him 3 times, either by a cave in, drug come down or last night, in attempted murder. You've murdered countless people to gather technology, you're nothing, but a murderer, and as we all know. Is the lord frowns severely on that, but as the said game turned movie actor would say, you're all killers. That what they pay you for, but are you really willing to kill everyone on the planet, to protect this secret?" she said and he went white.
Now realizing everything he'd become these last 22 years, even the races were disgusted with that. "Well the path to ascension laid with following the bible lessons to the letter, but rather then the Ori, is this same lesson. Fear not the evils of darkness, fear the darkness that would conceal the knowledge of the universe. "And a man has no greater thing under the sun than to eat, drink and be merry, Ecclesiates now, well I'm a Catholic and your teachings very resemble Catholic preaching now, Mam." he said and she smiled at that and Jack paled, realizing Cam stuck closely to his religion. And the reason he'd become this bad in 4 years, was he became Moses as teenager. "So you see it now do you, why do the gods torment me with such, reckless, blasphemous sons, that's you to a T."
"Colonel, your soul is painted black, that the trip to Netu, should be a message, if General Carter gets captured, but Sokar's symbol is the symbol of the Baphomet. In Ancient Egyptian version, Tuat is hell, for Egyptians, well hell comes in many forms here. Least of all by way of the fires of damnation." she said sternly and they all paled at that. "Demonology, the inverted cross, is the symbol of hell, all things evil, we always knew that." Landry said sternly and she nodded then.
"Indeed the leader of us, could be seen as Jehovah now, but my baby, as you now speak latin, you are undergoing your own quest for the holy grail. Your scholar type show a love for knowledge and learning, as the proverb goes, only from learning from the past. Can you save the future, the stories are that knowledge, ignorance in truth, ignorance. And bloodshed holds no favor in us, we believe in science and enlightenment, which is you gaining your wings."
"Your late wife, was your guide, she was a dove, was meant to lead you into my arms, via the baby my friend, but your ex trio they only furthered it, they been poisoned. And by the venom of evil that which is hiding on Delmak now, you understand, looking for a way to save lives. Not destroy them now in truth, you found the first step to that by going to the queen's apothecary. You are saving lives with every decision you come too, but fighting a needless war now."
"Is wasting time and money, that would neither you do not have as of yet, time for a new path, my young friend, a new future, journey's end." she said and Sam started shaking in fear. "Master is the Harcesis knowledge meant to be ancient knowledge, it's a gift from you, like the outpost you left us, only someone like me can use it wisely?" he asked her and she nodded. "Yes, your command is the right stage, but SGC, not yet." she said and Jack paled at that.
"So in the hands of the SGA, we do what I would in the alternate reality Carter ended up in, being as we're changing everything back, aside from switching new system lords. As we get Egeria back and we get them on a cure to go without symbiotes. But everything else stays the same, our new ownership is the new gods now and with that now." Landry said sternly to this and Sam paled, realizing this was her acting like a communist in the eyes then finally at that.
And of the rest of the community, that their command was about to create, but to her, she saw things as fine the way they were, just like the NID did. "The SGC has become everyone's Moses to their Hebrews, but your only targets are the ones that challenged you. Not the majority, the majority and their planets deserve to live in peace, so time reversal now. Before the galaxy never had knowledge of your Base, as SG teams." she said and Landry nodded sternly then.
"The SGA decided to go with the Starfleet prime directive now, non interference, as they live their lives, if they ever have need of help, we give it. But we're not fighting their wars for them, the ways things are, is keeping to the status quo now. The freedom of the Jaffa, could be some sort of drug, that drug is necessary to change their lives. No symbiote, no chance at death, they just heal the human way now." Picard said and she nodded in approval then, and Jack paled.
"What are you talking about, we're bringing hope to these people by killing their system lords!" Jack said in shock and Daniel crossed his arms. "No you're upsetting the status quo, the way things should be, I only sent that message to Apophis. Not to every system lord out there, I agree with Jacob, oh yeah things certainly gotten better. And since you started killing system lords one by one, let's examine the evidence here, shall we, in every case another one worse."
"Shows up to take their place, there's more chaos then ever before, if Apophis returns and amasses Sokar's army for himself, we're on the brink of never defeating that snake!" he said and they all paled at that. "My idea saves countless lives, your's are killing off our soldiers, faster then we can count right now, you idiots, we lost Charlie. Because you got the attention of that bastard, by killing his brother!" he snapped and Jack started shaking violently in fear then.
"Our war started with Apophis, Ra was an accident, one you created to upset the apple cart young man, we did plenty, by killing Artemis, Hathor, Seth and whoever comes next. But the others never attacked us, so why provoke them exactly?" Landry asked sternly and they started shaking violently in fear, realizing they thought they were acting like prophets. And said which was what had Hanson suffer a nervous breakdown, before he was killed by Connor's captors.
"Have you seen this? It was an Irish village. It was just bombed by American F-302s." Daniel said and he nodded as Hammond glances at the television, but does not seem concerned. "NID catch here, Sir, your reality is the future of the SGA, we just undid all their handiwork. And the president is my commander in VP position, undoing all of the SGC's hard work. In fanaticism, of thinking they're saving lives, instead of destroying them?" he asked and Hammond nodded.
"Yep, the NID are trying to take back control of the program by rioters, that's one of their hotspots, the Vice President. He decided to destroy all areas that are interfering with the peace process, let me guess your reality, the advancements has scared the NID out of their wits. Your knowledge, you went to Pyrus's kingdom, and they're scared of him?" he asked and Daniel nodded. "Yeah that's my one safe haven here." he said and Hammond nodded in understanding.
"At the request of the Irish Prime Minister, that 'village' as you call it was in fact a training camp for terrorists, more accurately NID rebels bent on overthrowing several European governments." he said and Daniel nodded. "You did what we did, and went SGA, and started taking over, you know, I've also been going over several mission reports. You abandoned the Alpha Site and switched to Beta." he said and he nodded and Sam paled, realizing to them this was fine then.
"Yes we did, but in truth, we didn't have a lot of choice, we devoted our full resources to planetary defense here right now. Son, but you saved three realities and just saved us now, by your advanced knowledge, it's just. In truth now, going to take more time then you wish it to, before we send you home." he said and Daniel nodded gently. "Well be thankful you never had this argument with my Carter now, because they see this that the SGA is getting too corrupt."
"Simply here because we're not letting them do what they want here, the way they think it should be done." he said and Hammond nodded. "The SGA was doing this to save earth mankind, all of it, not just this country, but in my reality. In order to prevent me from leaving, after said vision from Sha're via said hand device, I was going to search for the baby. Till the trio realize do that, they have no idea which planets are which now, and in an attempted suicide,"
"Is they tried to kill me, but got caught, with the evidences left behind, and Shyla's apothecary saved my life right now." he said and he nodded, as Lieutenant Evan Lorne crossed his arms and Sam started shaking in fear, realizing how bad this looked. And to the other reality, their version was missing in action, and her's was spilling his secrets to them. "And they were convicted to a mental institution for psyche evaluations, they're of the impression here, they need me."
"In order to prevent them from making fools of themselves." he said and Hammond crossed his arms and she started shaking violently. "Your knowledge of Shyla's kingdom, no you and they no idea who belongs to which member that chose them. Well like your version of me and president, it's not your job to prevent them from making fools of themselves. These rules exist for a reason son, if they would follow the rules, these things would not happen right now, baby."
"As such, the way you talk to me, says son to his father, so let me guess adoptive father?" he asked and Daniel nodded, and he smiled in affection gently. "Them and the SGC rebels huh, understandable, let me guess the Vice President is your boss. In your reality, me, I'm your father." he said and Daniel nodded. "Yeah, just imagine the conversation, after you left everyone to fend for themselves, now that both threats are over." he said and Hammond nodded sternly.
"Yes, the Jaffa can live their lives, without our interference, now that they're free of symbiotes, the Tok'ra went back in time, and saved Egeria, they're saved. And the Tok'ra over ran the galaxy, while the Goa'uld are 3/4's extinct as for the peoples of the galaxy. They're safely under the command of the surviving system lords now, so everything is fine. Now we just have to get everything on earth under control." he said as they ended it at that, and she swallowed hard.
"Shall we, I can stay longer, till we get this under control, you're not the first reality I helped, the president needs me longer, to bring peace and stability that's fine. I stopped the Ori with destroying the device that brought them to our galaxy, my reality. 7 years ago, but being the figure head, giving them hope and peace, like I did till the NID ruined my happiness. When Apophis kidnapped Sha're and turned her into a host." he said and he nodded as they ended it.
"What am I going to do with you, Colonel?" Landry asked her with a bemused smile, as he looked over some classified records. "You could let me go." she said and he shook his head. "I still need you." he said and she said it with annoyance. "For what? My knowledge of phase technology? Or as a prop for public relations?" she asked and he looked at her. "What if I said both?" he asked and she shrugged. "I won't keep my mouth shut." she said and he stood up.
"But that's exactly what you do in your own world: The SGC's still a secret, right?" he asked her and she sighed. "Young lady the idea in my world is and was if we started in 1999, we had to control the conspirators that interrupted the peace process. If you ran into Mitchell, he saw this the way you do and did and decided in not keeping his mouth shut, stirred up trouble. I had no choice, but to let him go and he's stuck in that chair." he said and she went pale at that news.
"I know his exact words to you, how he felt about this, 'after Antarctica, they flew me to Washington. Pinned a medal on my chest. Next thing I knew, I was being trotted out to state dinners, political rallies. I think…yeah, I think I even opened a few malls. Mr. President said: 'it would be good for morale, son. Help soften the blow for keeping the Stargate secret. And for so long.'…., what a load of b.s." he said and Jack started shaking in fear, he was not a diplomat.
As Daniel got all the attention, he had the gift of words, he came forward and started his job, of bringing more technology. He was going to become the most loved man on earth, he saved Earth, by being who he was, and it wasn't a soldier as he listened to the rant. "I called them on it, and they dropped me…, like a rock, no more fancy dinners, no more expensive doctors. Anyway, walking's overrated, I got everything I need right here and I do not have to deal."
"Deal with curfews, or military checkpoints or being detained…without charge…, life is sweet." he read out and she swallowed, realizing Daniel preferred it his way, he was a diplomat, he was great at trade dealing, giving the words of encouragement. "As Billy told Jellico, over soldiers like the man you revere now, your ex commander, when I, in your version of me. Am your commander, and yes, unlike you, if it was Danny who came here, instead of you right now."
"As this is my exact thoughts on you, let's drop the ranks for a moment, I don't like you, I think you're insubordinate, arrogant, wilful, and I don't think you're a particularly good first officer. But you are also the best pilot on the ship." he said sternly and she realized how much he detested her, he was detaining her while Daniel did his job. And without her clinging to him, as he smiled sternly, then. "Caught on finally now." he said sternly then and she swallowed hard.
"Danny saw the necessity here, he understands, but he, like your version went undercover in the ranks, till we can destroy them right now. But your attitude is wearing thin, it says here right now you been converted by the NID 5 years ago, shall I paraphrase. As I'm like George, in everyway possible" he said and repeated it. "So with that, Why? Our core mission is to go through that Gate and find technologies we can use to defend against Goa'uld incursion."
"Am I right, well, with no due respect, General, that's just plain stupid, and since the Pentagon won't approve our backup program, we have no choice! We have no choice but to take whatever steps we need to get what we need! And when the Goa'uld wipe us out because we have nothing with which to defend ourselves, I'm sure we'll all feel great about ourselves and our high, moral standards!" he read out and she started shaking, never thinking they converted her to that.
"But I know you talk about 'freedom' and 'democracy', but you're hiding the greatest secret mankind has ever known from your own people. Followed by holding him hostage and then nearly killing him three times, the cave in, NMS and then finally. Is they're trying to set him up for suicide, to make him out as everything they been saying since Hathor now. Only now it's case here of no him, you could walk into this Aramis you're so afraid of right now in truth."
"But I call this he needed a serious break from you, you don't see your attitudes as damaging, I'm not surprised he left. What's wrong with starting back in the mid 30's for the benefits to mankind far exceed your greatest hopes. Near as I can understand, if your positions were swapped, Daniel would see my decisions as fine, once in my command. Once in my command sum years, he'd see this as what you been you doing is terrorism in the worst now."

The Tok'ra, their ranks over whelmed the remaining system lords here, so no more chaos now. No more wars, no famine, earth has it's own ring system just like Chalcis, you can gate to a neighboring planet. Isn't that worth telling everyone on earth, you have a better way to live, to end all wars on earth, because this secret."
"It could result in what is happening in my world." he told her sternly then. "Well at least on my world, we don't intend to abandon the rest of the galaxy to the Ori." she said, hedging the answer, knowing so long as the NID was there, they could never reveal things. "That's just your problem: they were better off without us, before you stirred up the hornets nest. And it killed billions of people, if we stuck to ourselves, they'd been happier." he said and she went white.
"Oh so you don't think so, you think they weren't happier without you stirring up the hornets nest on certain planets, Apophis was the Ancient God of chaos now. A giant serpent, trying to swallow the sun and succeeded by you killing Ra yourselves. And now this galaxy was plunged into an eternal eclipse, that took going on 5 years to end." he said and she started shaking, as Jack swallowed, never thinking all the Brass and joint chiefs thought this, about his handiwork.
"Daniel, coming under my command, decided to undo what you did, and placed them under new goa'uld masters, they're happier this way. The Jaffa live without interference, they have tretonin, they don't need our furthered assistance, the Tok'ra ranks are blossoming again. Everything is as it should be out there, we're just ending all wars on earth, as a result. By taking out the instigators trying to bring out strife again." he said and she swallowed hard at the rationality.
"This is the world the SGA lives in compared to the SGC, we see things like this, everything was fine till you decided you'd became everyone's Moses, to their Hebrews. Till Daniel, after you hurt him one too many times, his chains are broken and starts undoing your work. I see the doubt in your eyes, it's the Trust huh, you know you reveal this, it results in them killing people. I took care of that in my world, erasing them from existence right now, but they're a problem true."
"But there is no cure for what they caused at this late a state, but turning back the clock now, you see, this is what Skynet was afraid of. In trying to wipe us out, there was a single person they tried to erase, the one that gave them the strength to fight. Danny is John Conner, without Danny, we don't stand a chance, I know he's gone undercover in your world now. But the Trust are going to claim he turned on us again, but their idea to study the hybrid, killed 3 people."
"Everything they try goes straight back to Hathor, why not insure they never get a leg to stand on anymore here, because once you erase their department from existence. That allows you to control the program, or is it because of Shifu, after what he left in Danny's head. Is this what you're afraid of, you realize you refusing to even consider this you crossed over, to 'them'. That's a problem that can be destroyed long before you're born, my age group, Nash, his psychiatrist."

"Why not use that power to stop them, the Tom Cruise movie for one now, they stopped all crimes before they're committed, total peace now. A little glitch in the matrix, not a big deal that can be fixed, you see what allowing someone like Jack control you results in. You only got up to this level, because he scared you into submission one too many times. But you see start before their age group is even born, erase their department from existence now, and you reach it."
"All the way to TNG." he said persuasively at that. "Telling them back in 1997 was a mistake trust me, but starting when Langford was no older then you, that's the key to true power now. Because NID, the CIA, has no word here in how you live, they been erased from existence now that Jack can either face his own weaknesses or be deactivated. But Danny, I always considered him my son, that Jack screwed himself over now, you ever consider this now at all in truth."
"Use what they did to Danny against them?" he asked and she swallowed hard, realizing not once had she ever considered this, allowing Jack to continue walking all over her. "Yes I see that in you as well, you're afraid of him after he cut his wrist and beat the crap out of Danny. As well as the mess you walked into, well maybe if you opted out of that mission here. Or not be drinking at all right now, that would never have happened, your clinginess is dangerous."
"He returns to what he's good at and it's not being a soldier, but being who he is, that's what I love about the kid, he understood, but where you do think he gets it from. Hmm, where, in my reality I adopted Daniel after the accident, had Ballard locked up at the time. Daniel grew up and become an exact version of me now as a young adult, but allowing you and Hammond. You allowing yourselves to have O'neill walk all over you, this is why we took exact measures."
"I arrested Jack and his little gang of followers, Kinsey and the rest of the Trust, they're gone, this is what George meant right now in his talking to you. They were one of the threats I dealt with right now, I know you spoke to Mitchell, but someone can only handle being popular. And so long, before they decided they had enough, leaving only 2 choices right now here. Continue working and keep everything they worked so hard to build, or let the pressure take them down."

Well maybe not now, but what do you think will happen if you give them a foolproof way to hide like you've given us? Don't be surprised if the rest of the galaxy suddenly doesn't seem that important anymore. In the current ways if you decide to use that device Danny discovered." he said to her gently and she sighed.
"Danny always did consider things like what Jack keeps talking you into as below you, in the worst way imaginable, why not stick up for what you believe in. George told me now about how Daniel dragged up going against our morality is going to turn you into the NID. Jack lets his jealousy of Danny control his actions, you know this, why not do something about it. This is why I arrested every NID officer and had them jailed." he said and she sighed as she answered him.
"Now, see I know at least one man who won't feel that way. He's the leader of Stargate Command. His name is General Hank Landry." she said and he smirked. "Hmm." he said and they ended it at that. "Indeed and that is the very point, destroy all the system lords, the Ori come here, and the more prayer and they start becoming invincible. It would take powerful deprogrammer to starve them, before I finish the job and kill the Orici, who is Daniel in Ori."
"Daniel is us of the Ancients, she's an Orici, which in Catholicism is…" she said and Cam crossed his arms. "Christ and the Antichrist." he said and Sam went white in fear. "Indeed, Christ is righting all the wrongs done by the so called Moses of your people. Daniel was leading you in the right direction, we all think this, the path to enlightenment has many paths. Only you can choose the right one to take, and you are doing that now, by reversing time now, Cameron."
"Your base is the exact rival to the original one, but you're not real warriors, you're scientists, you understand, the weapon is hidden. But that would you do not need, so long as you destroy the entry to our galaxy, the fires of damnation will not cross into the Milky Way. So go now, and remember, as he said, once you understand, your training is complete, my dear friend. "Will understand, just take your time, patience and kindness will prevail." she said to them as she disappeared. "Like I said here, would say here now, if there is one thing I learned in my time, on this base, is there is nothing wrong with a little prudence. And when dealing with alien technology, you always knew this, with great power comes great responsibility now. And the power to affect great consequences baby." Hammond said then and he crossed his arms then.
"It's the damn artifacts for enhancements you need to worry about dad, not the medical care, we hit the jackpot medically, but they're suffering a demigod complex here, being Moses." he said and they nodded. "The heliopolis, the outpost." he said and Landry nodded smiling then. "So we have our demons name, the Ori, short for Origin, as they broke off the original path and became a heretic, and started recruiting followers, but they're fanaticals with a taste for blood."
"And violence, the Ori are fallen angels, the leader of the fallen, is Satan, the others became demons, it's a case of heaven and hell, and we're in heaven right now. But we're not in the market for anymore new religions here now, not with our current ones. Said being Judaism, Christianity, Islamic, Buddhism, Catholicism, Mormonism, Sikhism. And Jehovah witnesses here now, and for some of these idiots, they study Demonology, which is leading into Wiccans."
"But do that you get more then you bargained for, after someone punched a hole through the void, and a demon jumped into Robbie." he said and they nodded. "Nice detail baby, that's where we come in." Dalton said to him then. "To quote the game intro, we were standing on the threshold, of discovery, a powerful technology, with infinite possibilities. Instead, we let them in, fused of an unholy union, of flesh and metal, now…, this brave new world, has gone to hell.'."
"The long range communication devices, are the said gates, entry way into hell, Greek mythology, we activate that. And we let them in, by jumping into whoever had whatever is meant for it, to keep that gate closed. Is by blowing the damn thing away, immediately after finding it, we're said soldiers, Vala." Daniel said and Vala nodded sternly. "The doomguy and his best friend, said book series, brother?" Cam asked and Daniel nodded and her eyes narrowed.
"What was it you would have told me, if I came here in 6 years, I'm learning to be a humanitarian now and considered sin instead here?" she asked and he nodded in understanding gently. "None of this is your fault, but bow down or die, we hear this all the time and these people would still have had to either convert to Origin or face the consequences. And that's a dilemma the rest of our galaxy is also going to have to worry about." Daniel said in gentle tone.
"We unlocked a door, one that should have stayed closed, once we see our snake in the grass, it will be my friend, you and I seen the powers of the Ori. But looking at it the way I look at all mythology, I understand now, without their worship. They lose their power, it's the Greek gods in Catholic form, so to undo the damage now. We destroy the gates, and plunge into the edge of the abyss now, game 2, stargate style, my dear." he said and she nodded smiling gently then.

The real devils are whoever the leader of the Ori is, you're Christ, the rapture!" Landry said sternly and he nodded. "Then we begin now, as we retrace your steps, till we get to the outpost baby, followed by Camelot, only you can lead me in the right direction." he said and Daniel nodded then gently then. "Everyone the living quarters are fully furnished, in appearance they look like your homes here or wherever, so just unpack your personal belongings now." Q said and they nodded. "So everything in my apartment gets moved to the Enterprise." he said and he nodded gently then.
"And what happens if the quartet and the curator get added to the program, these bastards are going after everyone I love, and you just met the younger version to 10, as the actors playing them." he said and he nodded sternly. "The system got rigged Colonel, I left a tip to the U.N. authorities, any attempt to attack your loved ones, and your mythology professor.
