Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: If anyone noticed continued references to the movie script of Sphere, the story is going to follow some of it, but changes in other areas. And this story on Sphere, is going to be book 3 of the 6 part series I'm creating now. Basing it from now, to end of Season 5, and instead of dead, Daniel's going to be training to be a Q. And like season 6 showed, only 3 of the 22 episodes, has him with the trio, the others.
He's there at the SGA, Daniel's clone, turned twin brother ascended and Daniel is at the SGA, making his powers stronger. As the last episode unlocked his potential completely, though by doing that, everything that came with it. Starts coming out in visions, till they reach my other story, of the Past and Present series. Till the final shot results now her in the 5 years he spent, on board the enterprise, there in Antarctica.
With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector here is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.
The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.
This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 122: New Futures And Fresh Starts VII

"Yeah that's real good right now, real good, 6 episodes into a movie, we can put 6 episodes into a movie, revealing how far gone that psychosis is, in them is. Saying they don't care about anything but themselves and the protagonist with the help of his team. Has to have them all incarcerated, before they murdered 90,000 people." Wright said and Hoffman smiled, knowing the updated version to the movie was his opinion, as he, as Henderson, fixed everything.
"Sorry Barry, but our version, to their, that's Sam and Sharon, and to my opinion needed more work done on it, I get that by joining the program, playing Brandon now." he said and Levinson nodded gently in understanding. "Rob, Brad, I can be the director for this episode." he said and they nodded. "Do it, 11 months, it's 11 months later, though he's healed physically, he's not there yet completely emotionally, he moved on from the SGC fieldwork, he's recovered here."
"He and Sarah are married, and they just told everyone, they're expecting here." Wright said and they nodded. "Yeah once it reaches the teams, it's spreading like wildfire throughout the rest of the command." Landry said laughing and Daniel smiled. "Well 35 years old and our first born, is, to us now, a cub, and that's literal cub, with him being a werewolf now. But if he's an exact replicate of Daniel at 15, expect trouble." Sarah said and they nodded with a chuckle.
"Saying of which, hey honey, how about it, you and me living together, we already know each other, so why not. Legally married, and 6 months from now, spiritually married, and 5 months after that, second trimester and the test results just back, baby is a boy now." he said and she nodded smiling at that as she said it smiling then. "I got extra help with Erica, but yeah, she and I cover your medicine, make sure your morning and dinner are double helpings, Rosy now."
"She covers lunch, also double helpings, as we get prepared for the school year and that's 18 months to 2 years exactly now. But yeah, yeah, the Drs. Jackson, generation 3, under one roof again finally here, but you gave it up. You gave up the dangerous fieldwork for me, I always come first to you now, but there's my you, my husband, the love of my life. The you I know cares more about your family then your job, and once baby is born, 80% at home 20% work."
"Becoming a curator and bringing in specimens to fill up the museums with now." she said and he nodded, as he wrapped his arms around her. "And I would do it again for you my love, after my last marriage, this one is normal earth now, work from home. That 5 days a week, weekends off, holidays off, we live the normal life we deserved, that I never wanted it more now. But they give the choice, the job or you, it's always going to be you, and why go back to that exactly."
"As you know this, I'm doing anthropology work, bringing in the bacon, making sure we can afford the baby and his brother's and sisters upbringing. That my job in the Cartouche, that nearly cost me you now, but no, not anymore now. In the diving team I'm just below you, but in truth, retirement from the original mission regime, and being a treasure collector. That is far more appetizing than lousy hours and constant peril." He said and Sam and Jack went white.
"Being able to run my own museum, filled to the brim, with the history, that which I touched, I would do it in a heartbeat, for you, when the old ways came close to making you a widow. And our baby fatherless repeatedly, I would do it again in a heartbeat." he said and she nodded smiling as he hugged her, and she buried her head into his neck, in response. And they all paled, realizing her asking him to retire from the Abydos Cartouche, he would for her immediately.
"I made that mistake once, I'm never making it again, Sarah, I…, in Sha're's case, I had the chance to live out my life with her, but I couldn't leave it alone. I was the one that unburied the Gate, what happened to her was my fault now. I couldn't save Sha're, what if I can't save you, every Goa'uld I helped eliminate, another one took its place. Maybe I did something good every now and again, but nothing I've ever done there, it never seems to have changed anything."
"When in that base, nothing, maybe here I can make difference, they may say I made difference, but that's bull crap, I never did a thing to change anything. I can't do this anymore, I lost one wife, because of the SGC, what about you now, that's what scares me now. If you get it next and they do it again, till I lose you too, no more, I can't do it anymore." he said, his eyes loaded with tears, and she nodded, as she hugged him, and he buried his face into her neck.
"You get the point here now people, there's the context here now, he has never felt better anywhere in his life, he's always felt out of place on our planet. He wanted to make a difference, said planet is the SGC, he felt out of place there in the baseline program. You did your job, marginalization, now leave him alone." Jim MacGregor said and they started shaking, knowing without him, they never stood a chance. "Then you stay there." Addison said to that sternly.
"They only need him for two reasons, but we took a stand and said enough, Jim." he said and MacGregor nodded sternly to that. "Well I agree with you entirely Jerry, if they're that desperate, maybe they should have listened to him, to dad, sooner." he said and they all went pale in shock. "Dad, as in…." Sam said shaking in fear and he nodded. "That's right, my name is Junior, James MacGregor Junior, I'm no older then Adam." he said sternly and they went white.
"Your father's no older then Catherine, you're no older then us, so 54, 55, Jim?" Hammond asked and he nodded, smiling gently. "That's a 4 year age difference George, the kids are 18 to 34 years old, my students, seems the cubs needed a college visit day. Though the academy is good, in Colorado Springs, it doesn't hold up very well, and I see I ended up. And with another prodigy, after her adult self." he said and Chris looked down smiling and Landry chuckled at that.
"That I had my fill of the job, in the dangerous missions, lousy hours, constant peril, and ignorant team mates, who never think of protocol, ignoring the medical rules. Said ordained by our parents, ignoring the sciences, said which are more dangerous. Then the crap they think is not dangerous, that which is bloodshed and violence, when I can be running my own museum. Touching the minds, of thousands to billions, of children, interesting their love in sciences."
"And history." Daniel said and everyone that followed him nodded then. "And there's why they refuse to leave you alone, on the one hand, they're convinced you're the traitor. And the other thinking they need you, so they can protect themselves, I call that psychosis in both ways. But the Navy just took over the entire project, in time we become space bound, by ships now. But for now, we have the alpha gate to travel to different worlds here, as for these boneheads now."
"It's they all think you're the traitor, yes they all need serious help, in both ways now here, but they're, to us, they just been turned into the same enemies, the renegades are." He said, squeezing his shoulder. "Well 6 episodes now, that's going to take a lot of time now, but it'll work right now, change of names, but matching exactly here. Only the real villain of the hexalogy is Carter here, and partial O'neill now." Hoffman said and Sam swallowed hard in fear.
"Do you realize you sound like some stuck up house wife, one denying them their mail, each an acceptance, to a top grade college. And to the spouse, he finds out from his, your child, that is being denied their mail and confronts you. It's, if you were like them, refusing to let your kids leave you, when they all want to go to college?" Hoffman said sternly and she went white in fear. "Don't you get it, I'm trying to get away from you, I'm not a little kid anymore here, you idiot."
"So just leave me alone, and get your own lives!" Daniel screamed at her and she swallowed hard then. "He chose the school for me, and I went to Chicago, he wasn't denying me my biggest opportunity ever, my mind, I had a rival or two. But I was in my element, I played basketball, but like Chris, my grades and my winning games in high school. Were my ticket, my shot into every college in the country, but I was serving off the coast of every dig Mac is at."
"This is that exactly, but the Air Force academy is not much, you want to be seen as the best, but me, my mind, my grades and my ability as the power forward. In high school was how I got noticed, everyone that knew me was always me this and me that. I was happy till you came back into my life, but the determination to hang on, you're smothering me. But I want to move on, but you realize you sound like the Duchess of Dargul!" he said and she broke out in a sweat.
"Chase me around the system, chase me into the storage room, target me at my house, around the planet, where do we have to go, to get away from you!" he said and she and Jack started shaking in fear then, realizing they sounded exactly like that Starwars character. "Agreed, we just never tell them where the digsite is exactly, dad said Ein Gedi, but not where exactly here." MacGregor said sternly and Sam swallowed hard, realizing she was the Duchess, he now.
Was the con artist, never leaving him alone now, only he didn't have a bounty on him, but they sure did, before she could answer then, the gate activated and they heard a fast remark. "Sorry for the unexpected arrival, Admiral, but I figured you had work for me." they heard over the radio and Daniel smiled. "Yeah Aris, we do, we're on deck 21-A blue elevator." he said and knew he nodded, as he came in 10 minutes leader. "Hey Commanders." he said and he smiled.
"Hey and thank you for your help, but as it's not money, but rather help, liberation of your people: Sobek?" he asked and he nodded. "We can give a hand, but you're to deal with his jaffa yourselves, in return here, is monitoring frequencies here. These guys are obsessed with me, thinking no me, then they're going to run into Pyrus's courts. Wherever, despite the fact we removed the Ancients repository from the system." he said and Aris nodded sternly then.
"I never knew the queens effects are that addictive, so you're recovering mentally and emotionally. And from what O'neill and his marine counterpart did to you, and you're still refusing to go back." he said and Daniel nodded. "Yeah, on the one hand they claim I'm a traitor, planning on given that to a renegade, and the other. Is they're needing me to prevent them from making fools of themselves, I just called enough is enough, they want to kill themselves."
"Then the hell with it right now, so on missions here now, if they're trying to track me down, if Sobek is an underling to Lord Yu, leave it be, you're already part of the Federation. Because we're becoming like you, your only targets, earthling wise are these two, and their NID counterparts." he said and he nodded. "Fair enough, I can, if he gets goa'ulded now, set the trap, and hand him to Lord Ba'al, for a hefty sum." he said and Jack swallowed hard then.
"We never made any progress, so sorry man." he said and Aris nodded. "I know, but it was worth a shot here." he said and Landry nodded. "Is Naquada acceptable payment in your case, you can afford the chemical?" he asked and Aris nodded. "Alright, trace Neuman's whereabout, and we're paying you quintuple, in Naquada the amount Sokar offered for Korra." he said and he nodded smiling. "You have a deal, for 5x's for Keltar, is your NID unit." he said and Jack paled.
"The unit's whereabouts, said planet located on and confiscating everything they stole from the races, and Tok'ra, and bringing it back to us. As this way we can return it to their rightful owners nows." he said and Aris nodded. "My people are called the Ilempiri, as I told you, Commanders, our physiology prevents us from being goa'ulded now." he said and Daniel nodded. "I understand, the most we can do is help free you from Sobek, you take out his Jaffa now."
"Yourself, but if we have business for you, just fly right to the door, because you're, with you under Lord Yu, a federation planet." he said and he nodded in acceptance, as he looked from the actors, to the people they were playing. "These people here are the acting doubles, to my adoptive family, my wife, her parents and our friends, of my age group." he said and he nodded smiling. "So the Doctors Jackson now, okay, nice to meet you Mam." he said and she nodded.
"We're cloning her, so keep an ear out, if Osiris returns right now, he's here, somewhere on Earth, him and Isis, after we killed Hathor and Seth." he said and Aris nodded. "Well Kali's minor was here back in the early 3rd decade of your planet." he said and they nodded. "The Thuggee cult." Jordan said and he nodded, and Daniel closed his eyes. "Harrison unknowingly knocked off another one, without realizing it, in the movie." he said and Hammond nodded smiling in relief.
"Looks like even in the 30's we were taking them out left and right." Landry said and he nodded. "His character is where my nickname came from Aris, my friends call me Indiana Jones, because what my older peer. Said as an actor did on the field, I do that all the time, as a result I got women coming after me every time. That I turn around, as a result here, but sorry ladies, I'm married." he said and he started laughing. "I see why you're that good." he said smiling to him.
"As for what you said, Danny, regarding your teenage life with me, I had baby?" Hoffman said and Daniel nodded gently then. "Yeah, with dad not coming back into the picture till 14 years later, you did everything, so you handpicked the school. And you had a basketball ball court in your backyard, for me to train on, for 4 years, I won 75 games. Straight A's in every class, and the offers were pouring in the door, after a fast talk here now, so we chose Chicago now."
"And I went there and then told you I found Anna, and made some friends." he said and he smiled and Sam swallowed hard, realizing the psychiatrist wasn't some random. In adopted uncles, that knew him, he helped raise him here, with the trio busy on medical areas. Taking the time to be there for him all his teenage life, that Daniel loved him like a father. "Good enough, I know the exact way to go about this with you." he said smiling as Coyote also smiled gently.
"More accurately here they're convinced you brainwashed me, her especially I saw the light finally right now, seeing how blind being around them made me. Once you come back into my life now, I just became far stronger then they wanted, as I created a Jedi Order. Based on not good or bad, but somewhere in between, but they're convinced they're the Jedi Order. We're the Grey Order, but we never killed billions for a bio weapon." he said and she went pale in fear.
"Nor did we ever turn on each other because we hate not being seen as strong either." Barnes said sternly and she started shaking violently in fear, now realizing she was blinded. And by the flaws of her chosen career path, Daniel broke free of the SGC, and now saw the path. To enlightenment and that power was so strong, he changed in only going on 3 weeks. "If you immediately know the candlelight is fire, the meal was cooked, a long time ago now."
"Translation, if you been thinking long and hard about a choice, the decision was made, before you even made it, I been planning on retiring from the SGC ever since Sha're left again. And now with her dead, I'm taking leave of your presence, permanently." he said and she and Jack started shaking violently at his remark. "Everyone of Brandon's diving posts was in range of my parents dig-sites, for 7 years, before the accident now." he said and she went white completely.
"Lost 5 years, got the other 18 back now, before we get a lifetime together." Barnes said and she swallowed hard at that remark. "So 7 years, in range of you and Brandon, before the program murdered his entire family, via the back up cover stones coming with the gate. But lost 5 years and get the other 18 back now, before we came back into his life at the moment. Before getting another lifetime together, as he does his job under you." Landry said and they nodded.
"I call that time and money well spent, you took care of being the father to him, when I'm not around, I see why he's so attached to you." Hammond said smiling and Henderson nodded smiling gently. "Practically raising him myself now, but I got his last 5 years, and we never been more tightly bonded. So every Navy docking station I was at, is Mac's dig was directly at that spot, so he did both at once." he said and Barnes, remembering it.
Nodded in agreement at the memory. "Mac's a great guy, after getting to know him, like me, I knew that he saw the kids like his own, his activation training was the big one. Here's why Jeffrey's lesson was so dangerous, it's like pressurized salt acid, an ancient booby trap. It may look like soft science, but it's anything but, you never know the dangers till you get slapped by it." Jordan said and Hammond nodded sternly, realizing this was why Daniel was so careful.
"Listen to me, compared to normal booby traps on earth, what with you now telling us these cultures are alive and thriving on other planets. That the job just got a lot more dangerous, because the tombs are boobytrapped for real now. So with that, my father is going to say this exactly right now, but some of these dunderheads now. They don't possess the understanding in the art here of our job, the science and exact art that is archeology/anthropology in truth."
"We seen some gruesome sights in forensic work, but listen to me, you recall the old explorer, that went into the mountain range that was underneath restaurant that Joe lived in?" he asked and Hammond nodded. "We go through this all the time, there is always a booby trap, that you have to watch where you step right now. So hanging boulders, turn the dial the wrong way, it unlocks the next stage, that if you don't have rope, you're going to land on something deadly."
"And then there's organ, before they got into the grotto, George, at one point, checking the space around one of the hotspots, I realized it could be booby trapped. Shooting the cover of one of the stones in a cavern, just like The Jungle Book, the others all started breaking one by one, till the ceiling started caving in, creating a 4ft table, so anyone got stuck in the pit. They were buried alive, or just drowned in the spillway." A man said and Hammond nodded in shock.
"Yeah I remember, 1965, we were in India, not far from Pankot, and one well aimed shot triggered the booby trap." MacGregor said and he nodded. "My parents were involved with the medical/psychiatric/archeology department in all 3 departments. We just never associated with the Marines with losers like these guys in the military right now. If it doesn't involved military intel, it's not worth knowing, and results in a backfire." Daniel said and Hammond nodded.
"And you call your job dangerous, you never seen mine, we had that happen just last month, before I got back to Antarctica, in time to join the recruitment. Indian burial grounds, of an Ancient city like the monkeys were living at, was a treasure trove. But we had a python in there, and seeing a beautiful in city there, we decided to investigate, and a stupid idiot. Like you boneheads, after we got startled, shot the first and they all started going off now, in truth."
"Nobody got stuck in the spillway, thankfully, but it was way too close." MacGregor said sternly and they swallowed hard at that. "And that's not the only thing here, after another grave robber, triggered another booby trap, and said was the acid salt. And got cooked on the spot, these ancient cultures had some gruesome defense methods. If they thought you're an idiot, they could easily slip you something worse then Lotus, but acid here." Jordan said and Jack paled.
"And there's why Daniel, Annie and David never let him live this down: Kynthia." Landry said and he and Henderson nodded sternly. "Instead of one version of the elixir, it could have been the one mixed with salt acid, drink it, you liquify your insides. Ancient Cultures of every country have some deadly weapons for their enemies, only France gave the libido heightener." Jordan said and Jack swallowed hard, realizing he made a gigantic mistake, in not listening to him.
And sooner, now at that remark. "But hey here, anything not military related, is ignored, so who decided that exactly hmm, who exactly in you hotshots now." MacGregor asked and the quartet, SG-8 and the NID all paled, realizing they were the ones. Now, that decided that, anything not military technology related was ignored, and now realizing here. Daniel's job now, in being a skilled archeologist, was far more dangerous then they realized and the brass nodded sternly.
"When we have aliens like these, Greek, Egypt, Indian, Mayan, even the Ancients, they're Roman mythology, pre the crusades now. That you better believe it's dangerous right now people, more dangerous anything you ever seen. This is why, we're so careful about the job, rush the trap, you could get trapped in a Temple Of Doom, style booby trap. It could be anything, you rush the excavation, and it could kill you." MacGregor said and they swallowed.
"Well young man I call it here he's right to keep throwing it in your face, if you listened closer to his sciences, you would not be in this mess. But you're not his big brother and he's not a little child anymore, but you are exactly the reverse here. Of Patrick's character, he wants him to succeed, you're holding him back right now. So we could easily see you as the villains here, you crossed over, you're one of them now." Hammond said to him then and he started shaking.
And she went white, all Daniel wanted was freedom from this, and they were refusing to let go and leave him alone. "Mac, as in MacGregor, or Macdougal?" Jones asked and Daniel chuckled then. "MacGregor, but speaking to Sean, he took the job, he's playing Mac and Susan is playing Nattie." he said and she nodded, smiling. "Looks like my next shot to see him, Sean's going to be in shock I'm here, doing the diving we both remembered doing on the movie right now."
"Just without the said eye mask right now." she said and Liam chuckled and nodded. "Sean's memory as Harrison's father, he's a tough teacher here, but we're his previous students. So as a result right now, we passed his class, in anthropology, but these idiots now in truth. Did exactly as Mac said never to do and drank it, before checking it, remember the Invisible Killer." he said and they nodded. "That's what it is, only kill is by sin." he said and she nodded, bemused.
"And he's half dead already, by drinking that crap?" Liam said and he nodded. "Death by sin, clearly they never took the bible seriously enough, and you're a Devout Catholic, bordering. Now, in being a Jesuit, though your grandfather is one, well with Dustin being my psychiatrist here, that helps, we knew you by reputation, and said a very good one. And now we know you as a best friend and brother." Owen's double said and he smiled and nodded as Finnegan smiled.
"Like I said, I'm a scientist, extensive research into nomad customs here and at times, this results now. In getting the girl, which is why I've got girls coming after me every time I turn around." they heard from Harrison with a smile in his tone then. "Yeah and at times here's where the danger, like say the Thuggee, results in a close call touch. With both your soul and your sanity." he said and knew he nodded. "Oops." Jones said and he started laughing at that.
"Yeah working in the cartouche tests your soul and sanity nothing like ever could, why would you want to keep going back in, when you can travel around the planet. Learning the real mythology, and we slaughtered another one without realizing it, one minor. Two real on earth, and we could possibly have Osiris and his wife, on earth still right now." Harrison said and Jack swallowed hard, realizing the voice, was the actor of the man that played his nickname then.
"Lousy hours, constant peril, our spouses thinking the next mission could be the death of us every time we go through on the cartouche now. Or very flexible hours, home for dinner every night, watching our kids grow up, 165 days on missions, 200 at home. Simple here, I choose the second, I prefer this to the Abydos Cartouche." Boyd said and Cromwell nodded. "Me too." he said and the two Dixons nodded. "And me." they and everyone that followed Daniel then.
Said together and Jack went white, realizing he, Sam and SG-3 were the only hold outs, in realizing in trying to save the planet, they destroyed their own little worlds. And this was why Daniel left, he wanted more, a chance to raise a family, have a life. And to them in the eyes of the brass, this team was a cult, to them the job ruled their lives. And Daniel wanted to be with his family then. "I think we can all agree on this." Daniel said and everyone nodded sternly.
"Agreed, that's why the team, to them is all important, because the job, in the Abydos cartouche destroyed their marriages, in his case. That it murdered his son and destroyed his marriage, and to him the team is all that matters. But you want freedom from that and live a real life, and to them is no can't have that right now, the team is what matters. Well we can all say this for real now, but the hell with you, want to die, then the hell with it." Boyd said and they all went white.
"And there it is, but answer this people, would you give up going on dangerous missions, accepting a desk job. For your spouse now, they're scared out of their minds, the next one could be the death of you, and ask you to quit the current mission regime and switch?" Hammond asked and they went white, never thinking about that at all. "And that says it all, they're adrenaline junkies, it's like an addiction, they're addicted to going into the Abydos Cartouche."
"In regimes here, it's their addiction, or their family, and they chose their addiction, and I see a string of divorces on the horizon, as a result." Landry said sternly and they swallowed hard. "A nice relaxing mission, and enjoying good food, great lodging and a chance to touch history. Or being in a never ending struggle, that which could be barely kill you, again and again. And again, and said could make their spouse, a widow or widower, and their children parentless."
"Of that gender, they chose the second, well you people destroyed your marriage, because you're adrenaline junkies, thinking you're saving the world. "Yeah exactly, but your and Susan's current digsite is the Ein Gedi park, directly on the coastline." he said and they both nodded smiling.

"Daniel, son, it's okay, we got the other one." he said, gripping his shoulder, and he nodded, shaking, as he threw up, and she nodded. 'Being this ruthless, he can't take it, alright enough is enough, we're finishing this. That it doesn't matter what they do, the decision is final.' they heard sternly in her mental voice at that, and Jack swallowed hard.
"How the hell did they find us exactly, that letter was to George only." she asked and he looked down. "You need to ask, they broke into dad's safe, said in his quarters, and stole the return address." he said and she nodded. "Giving them our exact location, alright, Junior, get the ship up here, getting this little bastard in the infirmary. As for the others, it's the brig right now, set the trap and up." he said and Harrison nodded.
"Got it dad." he said and Daniel nodded, smiling in relief then, knowing them, the crew, he could live with, Sarah wasn't a host, because they cloned her during that episode. But the close call nearly killed him, he'd been a father and newly wed for over a year now. And now they were trying to tear his happiness apart. "How stupid do they think we are exactly, you're so smart you can think circles around these bastards and that little tramp here now."
"Instead of what they wanted, it's they got caught, thinking you need them to survive, but no you don't, not when you have James and the crew." she said and he nodded smiling at her and they paled, realizing he had a crew, a team, a family and a life. He didn't need the so called team anymore, not when they stabbed him in the back now repeatedly. Or kept trying to set him up, so they can claim he's mentally incompetent, or the job there.
Said was too dangerous now. "Junior, Brandon and David, you're safe with them, this is what we do, and we're part of the crew ourselves too. So why exactly, why should you be with clingy military types, who only need you for translations. Or are trying to protect themselves from their own stupidity, well someone else got arrested here." he said and Daniel nodded sternly, as they waited for the duo to show up, with that knowing smile.
On their faces, it was the next day, as they saw him, after he recovered from the attack as Jack and Sam arrived with a smile. "Oh what are you smiling about exactly Colonel, Captain, you think I never figured it out. Said that was a trap, to bring me back, claiming I need you to survive, oh Admirals." he said and the saucer section appeared right above them then and they went white in fear, realizing they got figured out and were being arrested.
"Well I did figure it out, and your men and you, are being returned to the SGC, right now, get them out of here." he said and they zapped out, and appeared in the SGC, as they were surrounded by SF's all pointing their guns at them. "They teleported the one that got shot in the leg to the infirmary, and he's being treated for septicemia. Before we have him tried and convicted Colonel, you weren't fooling anyone here at the moment."
"Still convinced you need him, though we removed the Ancient repository from the system, you are being arrested and confined for 7 months, again." Hammond said sternly and he swallowed, realizing their threat was genuine now. Every time they never let it go, it was more time with the psychiatric networks, as the entire planet now saw. That they were out of their minds in desperation to protect themselves, and Connery nodded to that.
"And like I said, we walk from wherever, if the locals are too scared to go further." he said and she and Connery nodded to that in agreement then. "But we can make this one a book as well, the story going by the name Bushido, as it's a Japanese system lord planet. Most likely another of our ownership, and these idiots piss off another one now, and prove once again. Why we shouldn't bother in continuing to stay there, if not going to listen." Daniel said and he nodded.
"Sarah's clone was taken, just 3 months prior, followed by once again here not bothering to listen to reason now, and get arrested, whipped to unconsciousness. He just had to kill in cold blood for real, here's the god damn aftermath to that." Connery said sternly, as Daniel played back the exchange between them after he gave his remark, before the mission, regarding a true version of the game Doom 3 happening, only this was season 2 series in the real books now.
As they saw Teal'C had a smirk. "We're not SGC-1, but rather SGA-1, so no loyalty, but time to leave now." Teal'C said to this, and Daniel nodded. "Just when did this happen?" Jack asked, his voice dangerously low. "I gave Hammond my resignation after our last briefing." Daniel said, his tone tired and resigned, knowing this was too much for the duo then. "So you knew, you knew this was going to be your last mission, and you didn't even think."
"To tell any of us?" Jack's voice was getting louder with anger, a tinge of hurt, panic, colored the words, in contrast, Daniel's tone was just as soft as before. "Yes, Jack, I knew, would it have made a difference in the long run anyway, I meant it during the light. Sha're is dead, Shifu is now an ascended in training, my journey with them is over. Time to begin anew, only I never got that chance, because of Sarah." he said sadly then finally.
"But really right now, would it have made it any difference you to, any at all?" he asked and she swallowed hard at that. "I can't believe you did this without at least talking to any of us." said Sam, uncharacteristically jumping in before the colonel could respond. "Sam, we haven't, none of us, really talked in months right now, it's like the lines are drawn. But scientists on one side, military on the other." he said and she swallowed hard at that.
"Is that what this is about, we're not hanging out any more to reassure you of our friendship? Feeling lost and alone?" Jack said then, his voice took on a mocking ring that hit Daniel like a punch to the gut. "No, Jack, that is what this is all about." He said, gestured to the three of them, sitting on one side of the table. "It's become obvious that you have no respect for me, or the work that I do, my contribution to the team in truth here."
"Said-is continually derided, you don't listen to me anymore, and I have to fight you harder than I have to fight the Goa'uld just to get my point across. This last mission is a perfect example. I'm done, Jack, I'm done, you won finally. I quit the program right now." he said feeling the immense pain at this. "This mission is a perfect example of why we still need you on the team." Sam said then, hating the defeat in the linguist's tone then.
"How so?" Daniel asked Sam, as he turned his gaze to Jack as he said it then. "I told you that I thought I saw something a mile from the gate. I told you I suspected that the planet might be inhabited, because it was just the civilian. Who saw something, and I didn't have anyone who was military to back me up. My concerns were completely dismissed, there was an opportunity, at that point, for us to leave the planet."
"In all probability, they would have let us go, but even after we were captured, after we had to deal and treat with the locals, you still refused to listen to me. And it got you tied to a pole and beaten until you passed out I'm finished, Jack. You didn't need a civilian on your team, then fine, I'm gone, I'm not going to fight you any longer." he said and that did it as he said it in desperation then, realizing he never considered this then.
"Dammit, Daniel, you can't do this!" Jack said desperately, as the unhappiness was clear in his tone, as was the confusion in his eyes. But that did it as for the first time ever, anger sparked in Daniel's eyes as he shoved the chair back and stood. "How dare you." he snapped, his tone low and dangerous in a way none of the others had ever heard it before. He was trembling with suppressed rage. 'Oh crap.' Sarah thought, seeing her husband beyond furious.
"Christ, I don't know what happened, Jack. It started with the NID thing, and after that, the trust was just - gone. I tried, dammit, I tried to talk to all of you, but more and more things happened that put me on the opposite side of the fence. And you shut me out, I had no idea what the hell I had to do to get my friends back. After a while, I just wanted to get the team working again, but I just can't do it by myself anymore."
"And you have the temerity to tell me, after doing nothing to try to save this team, that I.." Daniel snapped his mouth shut, turned on his heel, and left the debriefing room and Jack pushed the chair back and ran after Daniel, uncaring that Carter and Teal'c were right on his heels. "Daniel, Daniel!" He said as he caught up to the storming linguist, and grabbed his arm, pulling Daniel around, the next thing Jack knew, a fist was coming at his face then.
Special Ops training took over, but in the blink of an eye he was on his back on the ground, Daniel standing unruffled several feet away. Carter's face was shocked, and even Teal'c's expression reflected disbelief. "Stay the hell away from me." Daniel said coldly, turning on his heel as Jack hauled himself to his feet, prepared to take off after the linguist. As he disappeared down the hall, and was pulled up short by Hammond's voice then at that, in response then.

And as the General hefted a fat pile of folders, indistributing half to each member of SG-1. "I refuse to have anything to do with this. I want your decision in no later than two weeks' time." he said and they swallowed hard, realizing once again their mistakes, ripped the team in half and Daniel and Teal'C were taking another permanent leave. "It seems like every time we're together, something inevitably happens, in the cartouche, we're retired here now."
"From lousy hours and constant peril right now, that why bother here, in staying at the SGC right now, as the team is a toxic relationship. One that I'm not still not comfortable with here, scared out of my mind of being around the one that abused me, so no. As for my job, I call what I do a craft, if they're never serious." he said and Teal'C nodded. "We don't need to be seen together all the time, we can work alone, but the craft as you say." he said and he nodded.
"And to quote Alan later, I don't expect any of you dunderheads to understand the exact science and art, that is archeology." Connery said sternly and Jack swallowed hard, realizing what Sam did for a living was technical science, Daniel's science was an art. In the eyes of every skilled archeologist, to them, the soldiers like himself, were the ignorant dunderheads. Like the members that Alan Rickman's character taught, but Daniel was genius when it came to the job.
As he looked at Daniel smiling. "However for those select few, who possess, the predisposition..., I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory, and even put a stopper in death." he said and looked directly at him, Sam, Makepeace and the NID then. "Then again, maybe some of you have come to the Stargate program's Archeology department in possession of abilities, so formidable here now."
"That you feel confident enough to not pay attention!" he said sternly, and they all paled at that, realizing they all did think that and the ending results. Said were it struck the four of them down, leaving them in fear of Daniel's craft now, in the job. "That is absolutely perfect, you play Mac perfectly here, Sean." Jordan said and he smiled sternly to that remark then. "Well there's the different now, I'm a teacher of medieval literature, ancient cultures and religions."
"The one the students hope they don't get, which is why Anthony ended up dead, he drank it, he never paid attention in class now. And with that now, you really never pay attention in mission debriefings before missions, do you?" he asked and Makepeace said it as he started shaking. "Well we're not on a just leaving, or coming back briefing, Professor." Makepeace said shaking, realizing what he was saying, and Connery smiled sternly, as he answered him then.
"Not even on the old ancient marital rituals as Junior, Dave and I recall." he asked and they swallowed hard at that, shaking then, in fear, realizing this particular lecture. Said had the archeology department in hysterics, in laughter. "As even the most bovined brained nitwit, perks up for this lecture, because you see this as funny. In knowing a single drink can cause that much of a problem." he said and Bert covered his eyes as Adams started laughing at that remark then.
And before the other members all started laughing, remembering that lecture'll be in the SGA, so they could protect themselves from these situations. "What's your point?" Johnson asked him, shaking then and he picked up the bottle gently, smiling. "Do you recall what I said this was used for?" he asked them then as he held up a bottle of something, said was an earthling version to the lotion Daniel got from Shyla's apothecary and they shook their heads then.

Once on your skin, it's not coming off, so anyone wants to go to a case of tickle torture, your body is refusing to move away from their hands." he said and Jack swallowed hard. That, in truth, could cause every volcano to go off, then don't say we didn't warn you." Connery said to them and Matheson and Jordan crossed their arms and Jack paled, realizing he had warned them.

"Did you see me, or the team, that's Teal'C, Bill and the Generals, pour both glasses and from the very same bottle?" he asked, with the same slasher smile Jeffrey Jones used on Anthony Hall, before his organs were liquified and they went white as a ghost. "No of course not, and how could you, you weren't paying attention as usual here." he said sternly to them then.
And they started shaking in fear at that. "I said, time and time again, if they never say it, it could also be drugged gentlemen, young lady. But the fact you never listen to us, if it takes getting changed to get the message across how dangerous now. That our sciences really are now, well then so be it, but the fact you used your military training against one of us. Then all's fair in love and war, that one of us, lays you out." he said and they swallowed hard at that.
"They may claim if they never said anything of the sort, that doesn't count, but rather they shouldn't be drinking period, if George and the others forbid it, on duty anyway." Susan Sarandon said sternly and they started shaking violently in fear then, and Connery nodded in agreement. "Agreed right now, just because they never said it, you should at least check the scent right now, well ignorant of the science, the craft, is a one way ticket to an early grave."
"And that really is dangerous, where the hell is your brain, hmm, you realize, instead of the elixir, you could have drunk the acid. Said disguised as alcohol, as it cooked and melted your insides here, and it's not his job to prevent you. And from making fools of yourselves, you should have the common sense here to know. When they never say it, you should at least check, by a fork, or at the very least smell it?" Connery said sternly and they all went white.

"Jim's no older then dad, he's 56." he said and Harrison nodded, knowing that was him, his character. "My exact age, and he's 18 years older, so 74, but still working, best guess here, is being on the coast line, let me guess, the Middle East coastline: Ein Gedi?" he asked and Daniel nodded smiling. "You're from a long line of archeologists, like I am, but, in truth, the reason I quit, now, is because the coverstone that came with the gate, their counterpart now, in truth."
"Was what killed my parents, 1973." he said and Harrison nodded. "So the program murdered your immediate family, and you decided, after 3 years of this crap. It wasn't claiming the life of another Jackson now." Susan said and Daniel nodded gently to her. "Exactly, but these bastards are refusing to leave me alone, and your characters, actually came right to the base. And then laid the boom here, but I wanted to be a Navy crewmen, deep sea." he said and they nodded.
"I'm actually 34, going on 35 year old you man, fact of the matter is my job, in the cosmos, it's getting out of hand, so imagine you're walking into India, see what they told you.
