Damn it's been a LONG while since the last chapter, Hope you enjoy and More is still coming. I just got stuck for a long while.

The air on the mountain was almost painful as I sat on the steps to High Hrothgar. I had been going back and forth between home and the mountain for weeks in order to train with Arngeir and the others. Every now and then they would teach me a new word of power and I studied its use under their guidance. The way of the voice was a path to using the Thu'um for peace rather than war, I didn't much agree with war in general but I felt this power was something that needed tender care. "Your training goes well Dragonborn." Arngeir said behind me as he waited in the doorway to the old castle. "Yes, I thank you for these lessons…this power I have is so unknown to me I didn't know how to handle it at first." I had explained, Arngeir looked on edge more than usual. "That is very good; my initial worry was how you would take to these powers if you would follow the example of your ancestor Ilgrad who formed the blades, such barbarians never served the Dragonborn but for their own gain." Arngeir had once expressed to me that he despised the order my ancestor created.

"Well Ilgrad formed the blades centuries ago for a specific reason that Hyrule's destruction couldn't happen in the world he had come to." I had explained, Arngeir only nodded "That may be true, Ilgrad wasn't an all bad person I assume, but those who came after him poisoned his vision and allowed hatred to choose their actions!" Arngeir grumbled angrily as he spoke of those who came after. "Well we'll agree to disagree on the small things but we shouldn't let that cloud judgment, some still believed the order of the blades was as valiant and honorable as when my ancestor created it." I noted before standing and stretching. "Indeed, the earlier days were a different time I suppose. What will you do now?" Arngeir asked me curiously as he opened the large double doors back into the keep. "I'll go back home and start making my way to Solitude, I've spoken to Ulfric about staying neutral in their little skirmish it's best I go see the old war horse in Solitude as well." I told Arngeir that I planned to give my opinion to Tullius about his war with Ulfric, I didn't enjoy it nor did I feel like taking part but I needed access to all over Skyrim if I am to put the old Hyrule to rest.

"Safe travels Dragonborn. Sky Guard You." Arngeir said just before I transported myself to New Hyrule, the warmth hit like a wall of relief as I took a deep breath of the clear air. The travel markers were going to be of use and eventually I would plant one in every major city in Skyrim little by little. As I walked the field in New Hyrule near the temple I felt a strange pulling sensation that originated near the upper shrine. I made my way over to the tunnel entrance and peered inside. I couldn't get a read on what was drawing me there so I tried to stretch my senses through the darkness to see if anything hostile had been born in New Hyrule as it molded and shaped almost every day now. I didn't realize that I had walked through into the upper shrine itself and I came out to a large flowing river towards a waterfall at the end. But at its beginning was only a pond that couldn't possibly keep water flowing towards the fall but somehow the magic kept the water running.

It was a strange feeling walking across the water to just an empty bit of land in the center. I felt the collection of magic at the very middle and it felt like an overwhelming surge of electricity beneath my feet. I quickly stepped away and back to the shore, for the time being I should probably stay off of it and just get back to Time. I focused my will and was back in my home when I opened my eyes. Time was packing a travel bag and looking over a map before he noticed I was standing in the middle of the room. "Good morning Lady Kotera." Time said calmly as he trailed his finger across the map, he only looked in my direction for a second before glancing back at the map. "Why worry about the map? I thought we were going by the carriage drivers again." I had asked walking up the log stairs to the bedroom picking up my own travel bag and the individual pieces of my armor.

I took a breath looking around my bedroom before heading back down. "I thought we'd walk this time around and camp if we need to. We've been out of the game too long it's time we got back into it." Time said leaning against the bench, I started packing food for the travel before Lydia came out of the storage room. "I would like to accompany you both on this journey." She had said outright in a manner that said I'm not taking no for an answer. "Understand dear girl you can't enter Hylian ruins if we find them, you must remain outside, I cannot promise the ruins are safe to those who are not of our blood." Time said sternly, I assumed he was looking her in the eyes.

Lydia straightened her back as she looked to Time's glare. "I-I understand." She began before Time quickly stepped forward; I had to put my arm between both of them. "This isn't the time for a show of power you two. Lydia he is right, Hylian ruins are dangerous and we aren't sure how dangerous. The one just south of us is practically leaking malicious magic; it even haunted my dreams for a time." I had pointed out prompting a glare from Time. "You were near that without help?!" Time nearly shouted, he must have forgotten it was directly in my path to New Hyrule. "When I first started exploring Skyrim to stumble across New Hyrule yes, the ruin Morwitijaal holds a very dark power I wouldn't call Hylian but it is definitely not of Nirn." I had said pointing to where the ruin was in relation to the entrance of New Hyrule on the map circling my smaller finger around where the ruin should be. "Not Hylian but not of Nirn…" Time grumbled to himself in thought his hand at his chin as he mulled over the information.

I let him ponder his thoughts while I geared up into my armor tightening the straps to my sides and arms before carefully reaching down and adjusting my shin and knee guards. "It's Majora…that can be the only explanation to what is causing that malice." Time muttered to himself. "What was that?" I asked trying to get him to speak up. "Long ago in my time a mask made of pure evil was hell bent on destroying a border world I knew as Termina It was like a mirror of Hyrule but not exactly of Hyrule, to this day its presence is a mystery. But I can think of no other entity that possesses that type of raw malice than that of Majora, the cursed mask." Time began to explain as he reached for one of the old Hylian books opening to a page that contained that same mask I saw in my nightmare, a purple spiked heart with large glowing orange and green eyes. "You said tried to destroy the world, Should we be concerned about it being here in Nirn?" I asked him, Time only shrugged unsure of how to answer the question. "In honesty Kotera, I'm not sure what to make of it, Hyrule has been in collapse for centuries apparently or at least that's the way I see it. If Majora has not done anything now we must take it that Majora is confined within the temple, I have a hard time believing Hylian entities can travel far from these ruins that aren't Hylian themselves." Time said shrugging as we headed for the door, putting his mask on and crossing his arms.

We headed out and started on the path west that we might be able to head up the pass north and enter Solitude. The three of us traveled quietly for a while just listening to the sounds of the world around us before Lydia broke the ice. "So much of this is still confusing to me…" She mentioned as we stopped and turned to her. "Well to you normal humans I'd imagine it's very…what's the word? Difficult for you to understand the nature of the task that lay at Lady Kotera's feet. What is it that confuses you?" Time had asked as we walked off the path for the moment to sit and eat some of the bread we packed. "Just the whole aspect that another world is parallel to ours, everything about Hylians and other entities I've never even heard stories about could they possibly be true? Then again it wouldn't explain you Sir Time, but Lady Kotera? How is this all real?" She asked her arms slumped to her side in defeat.

Time took a deep breath and sighed loudly. "Lydia, I can't currently show you proof of all of this because normal beings aren't allowed beyond the threshold in the pass. New Hyrule is locked to normal humans that don't hold the blood of the goddess in their veins as we call ourselves Hylians, It was a safety measure the guardian spirits put in place to prevent the same disaster that is now befalling Skyrim." Time explained in an apologetic tone, we continued on what felt like hours, the air was becoming bitter cold that I pulled a cloak over my armor and pulled the hood over my head to try and conserve warmth. We reached Dragon Bridge at nightfall; imperials were stationed at the small town and running drills up and down the street.

When we walked into the tavern the soldiers all looked up from their horns of ale. We walked over to the bar sitting on the stools. "Three horns of ale please." I asked the barkeeper the man only grunted before putting the mugs in front of us. "We're drawing a lot of eyes." Time sent to my head quietly, I looked over to see his eye looking to me through its corner. I nodded while keeping my head down by the mug. I reached down with my left hand resting it on the handle of the Master Sword strapped to my hip. The holy weapon began to hum warmly acknowledging my presence.

Someone was most certainly watching the hair on the back of my neck was standing up and I felt a sense of looming drape over my shoulders. We quickly finished our Ale and left for the Inn just down the road. I told the Innkeeper we'd only stay until daybreak, the woman nodded and led us to the large basement room with three beds and we turned in for the night well Lydia and I turned in, I remember Time telling me he'd keep at the door until he was sure we were safe. My dream was filled with the blue sky, dragons shouting at one another with fire and ice but it seemed it wasn't out of hatred or malice. The dragons seemed to be enjoying their conversation for neither attempted to use the scythe like talons on their feet to strike at one another when they drew close. Suddenly the two dragons furiously flapped away as a much larger dragon swooped by them as black as night. Alduin was an unmistakable entity as his spiked black wings unfurled a large shadow across the ground. "YOL TOOR SHUL!" He shouted and a massive wall of flame shot from his maw across the land scorching the fields and all that ran across it before my vision turned that field into what looked like Hyrule.

I woke up in a cold sweat shooting upright and holding my chest, this movement was enough for Time to quickly draw his blade Redemption in a ringing flash. "What is it?!" Time exclaimed worried something happened as he ran over to me. "J…Just a nightmare, I haven't had one for a while." I explained my dream to him and I heard a low growl come from his throat. "Damned winged cowards…Well, it's morning we should get going." Time said peeking out of the door and looking around before leaning back in. "It's clear." Time sent to my head, I quickly got back into my armor and we were out the door.

It was maybe another two hours before we reached the city of Solitude. This was the bustling capitol of the star in the north. We put up our hoods and entered the city keeping our faces well under cover, when we entered the city people were gathering to a stone stage where a prisoner stood awaiting the headsman's axe. We watched as people hissed and shouted at the man while he tried to claim his innocence, the man supported Ulfric's claim and was now being put to death for having let Ulfric escape Solitude after he had killed the previous high king. I felt Time's hand on my shoulder trying to get my attention "You shouldn't watch this; we have other things to attend to." Time had said, I knew what was in his heart. He wanted to stop the death of an innocent who did not know any better.

We turned around as I heard the axe bring brought down, I flinched at the sound before we moved on towards the military encampment. "State your business here travelers!" One of the soldiers barked his hand on his sword ready to draw at a moment's notice. "We came to speak to General Tullius on what that conversation is about is not for a common foot soldier." Time had replied standing tall pushing his right foot forward, the man stumbled a little, I knew it would be this way. I'm sure the poor kid could feel the energy being put off between Time and himself a veteran warrior and new blood. "I apologize for my companion's demeanor, we are not here for any ill intent, I am the Dragonborn. I have come with my terms in the time the empire deals with war." I had explained lowering my hood to show the man my face. "Ah, right this way Lady Kotera, we received word some time ago that you may be visiting from Hadvar. Please enter and just walk forward General Tullius should be in the main chamber talking with Rikke." The man had said bowing his head before opening the door for us.

We walked in to hear the conversation about the growing conflict in Whiterun, Apparently Ulfric was amassing a force to take the city but they were at a stalemate, I knew this. Ulfric wouldn't make a move if he didn't know what side Balgruuf was actually on. I knocked on the wooden frame of the entrance before the two shot a glance at me causing Time to grip Redemption, I put my hand up so he would relax in that moment while Lydia stayed behind us. "Identify yourself!" A tall woman ordered, fully cloaked in armor and holding her sword already in her hand. "I am Kotera Kilyerd; I have come to discuss my place in this war of yours." I had announced, Tullius' face relaxed as he took a more relaxed stance. "Welcome Kotera, I was just about to mention the Dragonborn as an option." Tullius had said as he looked over me, as if he were trying to remember something. "A welcome from the man who tried to have My Lady killed just not a few months ago." Time snarled at him, the realization hit Tullius like an arrow to the chest. "Yes, and for that I apologize. I realize you were in the wrong place at the wrong time which is something I've been meaning to discuss, as an apology from the empire we have requested an invitation from Elenwen to the banquet at the Thalmor embassy. She has accepted your name to the list when the banquet occurs in the next few weeks." Tullius explained as he held out a letter.

I hesitantly took the letter from him before opening it and reading "Dear Dragonborn, You have been invited to a banquet at my embassy building just southwest of Solitude in the mountains, a horse and carriage outside the city shall bring you to my abode free of charge. Please dress appropriately there will be no weapons allowed at this party so there should be no need for fighting of any kind here. You may bring one guest with you if that fits any of your requirements. We will be remaining in the main chamber of the embassy, No guests may leave that room for any reason other than personal need which you will be led by my guards. Any infringement of these rules and you will be forcefully removed from the premises and they will have to find their own way down the mountain. I look forward to your attendance at eight in the evening. Ambassador Elenwen, Ambassador to the great Thalmor."

Every word positively stunk of that highborn upturned nose attitude the Thalmor reeked of. I heard time audibly groan as he read the letter over my shoulder. "Well then Time I guess you're my plus one to this it'll be a pain without my gear but I guess I'll just deal with it." I had said but through our connected thoughts I mentioned to him I would sneak them in through the void storage in case things got out of hand and we needed to enact some kind of escape. Time nodded and looked back to Tullius. "Well our other business here has to deal with what else you just said. We are not a weapon to be used in your petty war. I've seen enough war in my time and I refuse to join another. I especially won't join a war for people I don't care for, you Nirn folks are a pack of children playing at a game too big for them. So occupied with each other you can't take ten seconds to look over your heads and see the real danger is in the sky." Time nearly spat as he spoke that brought a scowl to the face of the old war horse.

His words were hot with anger but they were an honest truth, I felt how much Time truly despised war. The woman at Tullius' side was red hot and ready to jump over the table until I stepped up. "To his point, I am not here to pick sides between men. I have chosen to remain neutral in these affairs; this fight for land is petty in the face of my purpose." I had announced, my words filled with disgust as I looked to the old man who I once revered. The sour taste of his disregard sits upon my tongue like a sickness. I almost didn't want to look at the old man anymore, my family helped his men countless times and this was the thanks I got? My head nearly chopped off and now I was just a glorified weapon? "I wish you would reconsider, you would be a very valuable voice to the other Jarls of the holds and maybe this rebellion would cease." The man said the words that made me want to vomit. "So now you hold me valuable? Your men were cared for by us numerous times at our farm when you all camped there during a bad storm, your sick were taken care of by us, and you didn't even recognize me as you sentenced me to death for being in the wrong place at the wrong time? You refused to listen to me so I will refuse your offer!" I had shouted slamming my hand on the table before storming out in a furious rage. I had hoped the man wanted to repent for his mistake but I guess the old war horse was too obsessed with this rebellion to look at what he brought with him.

Before I knew it, I as at the inn drinking down warm ale to maybe calm myself down. Time was able to easily find me sitting at one of the tables and he waved Lydia over. "Are you alright?" Time had asked me in a soft tone, his hands squeezing my shoulders. I nodded not even looking up at him. "Yeah, It's just a lot to process, the man I looked up to when I was younger turned out to be such a piece of garbage. I'm just going to go lay down for a while, would you and Lydia go and get supplies in the market?" I had asked, Time just nodded and helped me to the room where I had locked the door behind me and flopped onto the bed burying my face in the pillow, it was probably foolish to have reacted like that, but his face made me so sick with anger I couldn't control it. After a while sleep took hold and I drifted off into a deep sleep, I'm sure Time and Lydia would understand I wanted to be alone and just wait for me to wake up from an afternoon nap. Or at least it would have been a good nap if I didn't suddenly feel something was different about my surroundings when I was starting to wake up again.

"Sleep well?" Was the question I was asked as I opened my eyes to a new location, my surroundings unfamiliar, I shot up and spun on my heels to face the voice, a woman in a tight fit outfit was sitting on top of a shelf holding onto the beam of the small house we were both now in. "Who are you!?" I had asked furiously "What does it matter? You're warm, dry, and still very much alive, that's more than what could be said for old Grelod hmm?" she had said, her eyes remained calm as the rest of her face was covered, she didn't know who she was dealing with. "Yeah and what's to stop me from making this place a whole lot warmer?" I said opening my palm ready to blast her with fire with any wrong twitch. "No need to be hasty girl. I brought you here to have a little chat about the old woman you murdered. It was a good kill but that contract was meant for us." The woman explained before I violently kicked the shelves she was sitting on. "Listen whack job! It's not my fault your brotherhood of murderers are a little slow on the draw! What's done is done, you either let me out of here or I fry you and leave you as a three course meal for the wolves, take your pick!" I shouted as the flame began to grow in my hand. "So what, you'll burn in here with me? You won't be able to get out of here if I die you know, a shack in the middle of nowhere. Did you think I didn't plan this through?" She had asked me, those words brought a smile to my face because I knew what had been approaching since I came to.

I started laughing before I wiped my eye and looked up at her. "You know, you think you had it planned out. The whole kidnap the Dragonborn and start to blackmail her about a murder of an abusive old woman. But you didn't plan it out in the slightest because you and your order know nothing about Hylians." I had said bringing a look of confusion to her face before I brought my fingers to my lips and whistled. Time bashed down the door with Redemption in his hand and Lydia stormed in behind him the both of them stood in front of me. "The moment I came to, Time was alerted to my new location, the two of us share a mental connection. He knows where I am at all times and we're able to communicate telepathically. So you have one option now, leave me and mine alone!" I had said the Master Sword and Hylian shield came to my hands and a golden light filled the room as new power quickly found its way through my voice. For that moment the woman's eyes lit up the same gold and she had fallen to her knees. "I submit…" She had said softly and we started to leave, I kept the sword tight in my hand as we made our way out. "I was only asking if you would be interested in joining our order." She had explained as she bowed her forehead to the floor. "Then send a letter, kidnapping me was a bad idea I could have torched you and teleported back to New Hyrule the second I felt threatened." I had simply replied as we walked away, the golden light was still filling my body as we walked. "My Lady….That golden light, you just used what was once called Will Of The Goddess." Time had said as he quickly walked in front of me before we reached town.

I shrugged it off for a moment. "I guess so, but what significance is it right now?" I had asked him, and as if it was listening the world rumbled. I heard an echo in the air, old and ancient as its deep voice shook the heavens. "En dašebu nobe šundu!" The voice thundered to the sky like the shout from the greybeards. I noticed Time covered his ears and was forced to his knees through my shaking blurry vision as my entire body shook to my very bones. When it subsided I felt the fear climb across Time's face as he ran past me. I struggled to keep up as we looked out at sea. A large temple spun into view as the old mechanism quaked and let out a breath of new life. "It can't be…" Time had said shaking like a leaf blowing in the wind. "What is it?" I had asked him, when he turned to me and the mask had fallen off, I saw him mouth the words. "The Tower of the Gods." He had said before he had fallen to his knees. "It's there, my Ocarina is in its jaws. It's called out to its new master." He had said with what sounded like relief. "What, old Kinolangdanzel is this Tower of the Gods? No one's been able to even enter it since it first shot out of the ocean like that." I hear Lydia say behind us. Time quickly closed the distance between them. "You don't understand, no one was able to enter because the Hylian Hero was still dormant inside of Kotera, She's come close enough to awaken the tower and the trial inside!" Time had blurted before he turned to me. "We need to get you in there and now!"

Those were the words he said before he stormed off for the docks. We followed behind him a little confused, but I'd be lying if I said I couldn't feel the structure willing me to it. "What you said earlier though about the Will of the Goddess, what did that have to do with all of this?" I had asked him, he only shook his head "The Will of the Goddess was the very power Hylia used to first command the creation of our world, a booming command that every being is made to carry out. It's like a chain that shoots through the body of those who hears the words and they're suddenly compelled to obey. She only used it during Hyrule's creation and never really used it again, Our Goddess just spoke through you that her will be heard. But what that has to do with those ruins is that your power was close enough to awaken the shrine. The locked gate to the fragmented world just shuddered. The Call To Destiny is at your door, and you must answer it." Time had said as we finally reached the dock as Time approached one of the dock workers. "I need someone to sail two of us to those ruins immediately, I'm willing to pay for the journey!" Time demanded, the men laughed for a moment. "None of us are sailing there boy but we'll tell you what, we'll give you a boat and you can paddle out there yourselves." The man said arrogantly as he waved us to a life boat.

Time didn't even hesitate as he hopped onto the boat holding out his hand to me. "Well it's now or never Kotera!" I blushed furiously as the men laughed while I climbed onto the boat before I saw Time stab the oar into the boat pulling his cloak from his armor and tying it to the oar, He held his hand out blowing his frost spell across the cloak and suddenly the wind shoved the small lifeboat out to the deeper water. "Use the other oar to steer us!" Time shouted as he kept up his spell. I barely even thought twice about it as I helped the boat turn us towards the ruins, I was a little disappointed we left Lydia behind but I'm sure she'd remain at the Inn and wait for us however long we would be gone. "You're in such a hurry!" I had shouted to Time, he only grunted as he sped us to the tower. When we arrived I was greeted to the view of Dwemer ruins, a great door stood between us and the inside but the door wasn't Dwemer, it bore the Hylian crest and words were inscribed on the door. "Only the hero may enter the trial of waves." I turned to Time after reading it aloud and he just waved at me. "It doesn't mean you go alone Kotera it means only you can open the door." He had said as he pointed to his palm. I turned around looking at my own hand before removing my gauntlet and touching the cold bronze door. The tower shook as the mechanism to the door loudly unlocked, it sounded like metal was dropping onto stone before the door creaked open slowly. The two of us slowly walked in to find a Dwemer elevator.

Time wasted no time kicking the lever over and we descended down the dark shaft. The few minutes we descended were quiet until I broke the silence. "Why are you in such a hurry? you'll run us into traps if you rush ahead this much you know!" I pointed out to him, he spun around and our eyes met. "Kotera, this is the first temple on this journey, I once thought that you wouldn't be able to get into these until Alduin was slain like the cowardly worm he is. This changes things, your power awakened the temples that which is inside can lead you to what we need to slay the beast, especially what we'll get from Termina." Time had said as we hit the bottom and suddenly the water had flooded up to our waists. When he mentioned Termina his tone dropped. "Is that place a touchy subject for you?" I had asked as we waded through the back room gathering the floating arrows and some gold, we were going to check every room we could. "Let's just say I don't like the idea that we're going to be facing that old devil again." Time had grumbled as we pressed on, oddly enough the water hadn't flooded completely and we were on dry land again. Several of the rooms ahead were loaded with walking skeletons that we dispatched with ease. "Wow these are some strange weapons…" I had pointed out picking up each one and sending it to the storage. "I'd like you to keep a hold of anything Hylian we come across in here, don't sell any of it to the town we need to find a way to preserve it." Time had noted out before bringing a shield over to me.

It was a purple shield with a bird's claw on it. "Especially things like this, they're virtually priceless…" Time had mentioned before I stored that one into the storage void as well. We came across a path down the temple and I felt the unnerving pressure of grief and sorrow that made me step back into Time who was busy wrapping up the clothes we had found that were of Hylian make as we journeyed down the path of the temple. For a trial it seemed like it was just another straight forward ruin, I'm not sure what Time thought this would be. "Are you alright?" He had asked me before putting some of the stuff into his pack. "Down that way…there's so much spiritual grief…" I had said pointing down the path, when he went to look down he nearly dropped his sword before he gripped it tightly I thought he'd break the handle. Time slid down the path flooding with water. "Please listen to me!" He shouted, I couldn't hear the rest as I heard the steel clashing I rushed down to his side. "YOU DID THIS TO US!" I heard echo in the halls "TRAITOR!" I heard another voice scream. "HYLIA SAVE US! IT'S SO COLD!" Another shouted in fear as the three spirits were trying their best to slash at Time.

I leapt into the fray with the Master Sword and it was like the light from the blades energy blasted through them, they shouted and the armor they wore clattered to the ground. Time had fallen to his knees. He didn't move for a while, like he was stuck in place unresponsive. I took the time putting the armor and weapons in the void storage before I went over to him, salvaging the armor before the water swept it away further down the flooded broken pathway. "They have every right to hate me…Every right to curse my name, every right in Hyrule to strike me down for what I've done to them." He had said refusing to move before I forced him to stand. "Listen…I know you feel guilty for the sins you committed but this isn't the time to be washed away in depression, I need my ancestor at my side to guide me, I absolved you in the presence of the light spirits….Whatever you've done I don't care right now we need to move, if there are more Hylian spirits trapped here we need to cleanse them and lay them to rest we can't join them now!" I had told him, he only nodded and we pressed on.

The miasma the spirits generated made me feel sick and heavy as I held up the Master Sword each time one of them rushed us in a mad frenzy. It was hard to swing my sword at the skeletons and other creatures while their grief was weighing my body down. The weight lifted as we entered another flooded corridor, I heaved ragged breaths as I had to stop for a moment to regain my energy. "I'm so sorry…This whole ordeal is my fault." Time had said holding my shoulder, I mustered up most of my strength to hit him in the chest. "I said to stop wallowing; you can't atone if all you do is cry about it!" I hissed at him trying to snap him out of this depression he was now in after seeing the spirits of his kin who labeled him traitor and devil. "You don't understand, looking at them is like my deeds being thrown right in my face because everything is here because of what I did, If it weren't for me…" He had started before I shoved him over. "Get over it! This shouldn't be stopping you right now! We have a duty to them to reach the end of this trial so we can move on and put them all to proper rest, they're counting on us, on you to atone by ending their purgatory!" I shouted at him as he looked up to me before looking away, I could hear him grind his teeth before he stood.

We entered a large open room where a giant draugr stood with an enormous great sword. "Come dragon hero, face me in combat and show us your might!" It said as its friends stood aside as if watching. As time went to step forward a force blasted him against the wall violently and I heard him let out a pained groan as his body connected with the wall. "Nay, we did not ask for you cursed one! We ask for the chosen one!" the giant draugr snarled. I took the Master Sword in hand and stepped up showing the Hylian shield, the giant took up his blade. "Your first trial as hero, face me in combat. Win and my kin will kneel and yield our knowledge to you before departing for that which was lost. And you may proceed further to the other three trials." It had said before it took a stance. "Once I win, you will also apologize to the Hero of Old, He is on this path with me to atone for his crime." I had said in a stern tone, the giant looked to the still kneeling old hero who was trying to recover after being thrown several feet into the stone wall. "I accept your terms, If you truly are the hero you shall best me and we will adhere to your demands." The giant said before he quickly burst into action swinging the giant sword towards me, I could feel the energy in the blade trying to leech my magic from me.

I knew one wrong strike from his blade and that would be the end for me. I dodged and evaded his swings they displaced the water around us kicking up the wind in the room. I knocked against his plated armor several times with my blade but none made any headway into even phasing him. However I noticed there was a spot in his armor missing where his heart would be, I planned my moves and evaded each swing feeling my energy being sapped as the blade nearly made contact with me several times during our duel. When he had swung upwards it left him open and I rolled forward before he began to bring the blade down and I slammed the Master Sword into the open space of his armor. The giant froze in place for a moment. "Well done…Normally for the hero there would be more to it than just one simple sink of your fated blade, But I am not here to fight to death." The giant said lowing the blade and stepping away from me, the sword sliding free from his chest plate. "I recognize you as the Chosen Hero, My name is Durai, I am king of the dead. The lord of this tower corrupted by the dreaded black winged beast that had slain him in life once passed had ordered you to be put to death, but we denizens of Hyrule will not so easily follow those orders, well some of us anyway, we retain our will to serve Hylia. We cannot promise the others will have the view we do." He had said as he waved his friends forward.

They brought a key and a book to me, It was a Hylian made spell to summon what was called Redeads. A moment later they walked over to Time helping him to his feet before presenting a weapon and shield to him. "Old hero, we apologize for our hostile feelings towards you, we do not forgive your sins but we hold the same belief as your descendant to allow you to atone the atrocities you committed against Hyrule, bear in mind the rest of the old world you know shares our hatred for what you've done. Your atonement is not only to absolve your sin but to beg the dead you wronged for forgiveness. You may not fight alongside your descendant during her trials, you are to kneel like a good dog and wait for your master." Durai growled as he walked up to Time before holding out his great sword to him. "Take my sword, a token and a sign to others that I the king of the dead hath deemed to hear your plea." Durai said in a stern manner before Time once again collapsed to his knees. "I haven't the right to beg for forgiveness from any of you, I've made a terrible mistake in the guise of trying to help Hyrule grow, I cannot accept your sword because as a whole, I don't deserve the right to even plead my case." Time had said, for a moment Durai gripped his sword tighter and I thought he was about to strike Time down. That was before he turned back around to hold his sword out to me, the stone blade shimmered for a moment. "I leave this to you then." Durai had said annoyed at Time's refusal. I took the blade in my hand and sent it to my void storage before I bowed to Durai.

"Thank you old one, If I ever feel the need to use it in battle I will use it with the same ferocity you used to fight against me." I had said to him, he chuckled for a moment before he disappeared and the room lit up. I heard clicking as a locked gate over the next door quickly lifted. I went and picked up Time from his sulking on the floor and we moved on into a room covered in webs. I looked up to my horror to see what was like a giant frostbite spider but in its center was an enormous eye. Time was quick to cover my mouth "Do not scream, when it notices you I want you to shoot it right in the eye and when it drops make haste and jam the sword right through her eye." He had whispered, I nodded and summoned the bow to my hand knocking the arrow and taking aim. My deep breath gave me away and the enormous spider eye stared me down just as the arrow sailed into it. The spider shrieked and came crashing down. "GO GO GO!" Time shouted, I switched back to the Master Sword and like he said, didn't waste any time letting the blade find a home in the eye. The giant spider curled in and went limp. "Was that easier than It would have been if I didn't follow your advice?" I had asked him, Time kicked the body and nodded. Yeah Gohma isn't fun….Wretched thing I don't know how its species endures at all." Time had said just as the body fizzled away with the webs and a key floated into my hand.

The next room stood a large skeleton holding a shield and a war hammer. It was easy enough to dispatch him but I had to roll away every time it went to bring down the enormous hammer, He was durable but eventually went down. Time was able to take up the hammer before he asked me to store it, the storage was getting full of many artifacts. "You know we're going to have to sell at least Some of the copies of this gear right?" I had said to him, he only shrugged. "Just leave five for yourself in order to repair the others. You can learn how to make them in that time as well." He had pointed out and we moved onwards to see a suit of armor standing in the center of the fourth room. "I…I can't help you against a darknut, be careful they're expert swordsmen sworn to Ganon and will stop at nothing to see either of us dead." Time had told me. I nodded and stepped forward. "Looks like you stumbled into the wrong hole hero, come die and serve my master in the afterlife!" The knight had said as he held his sword high.

The battle was furious, he was keeping up with my speed as his great sword smashed into the Master Sword, his strength made me stagger my steps before I switched to the Armos great sword Durai had given me. My swipes began to slow down the lumbering giant as it was sapping away his energy before he screamed and tried one last ditch effort to throw his blade. I spun out of the way and sunk the sword into the gap in his helmet, a dark energy spewed from the armor before it fizzled away leaving nothing but the sword, the door ahead opened while I walked back to get the sword into my storage I found another Hylian book to summon those knights, except the Triforce on the book was upside down. "A book of Demise…" Time had uttered before I put it away not daring to open it.

Further on we came across a mighty door, when we opened it we were greeted with two statues stood tall in the center and at the end was a Dwemer construction made of complete silver, it was a massive automaton. I was going to step into the room when Time put his arm out and stopped me. "The second that thing activates it'll be on you, let's take the time to observe the construction for a moment." Time had said quietly, we knelt down and just looked on at the automaton, the giant silver Dwemer Centurion was still silent aside from the gentle clicking that echoed across the enormous chamber we were in. "That's the smartest suggestion you've made since you pulled me to this temple." I remarked getting his head to turn to look at me, he must have been scowling under that steel mask.

I took note of its joints thinking maybe I could bring it down by severing them leaving it helpless on the ground unable to spin the horizontal axis to push itself upwards again. That's when I noticed each joint was crimson rather than silver making me believe my connection wasn't that far off I nudged Time and pointed it out to him. "Good eye, in my day the entities of the temples always had some form of weakness that was plain to the eye, a lot like Gohma back there, it's giant eye was its weak point." Time had started explaining before he suddenly pulled me forward with him as he started running for the automaton. He had caused the bars to shoot up just in front of the door we just came in through trapping us in the room with it. "Hey you overgrown bucket of bolts!" Time shouted and waved his arms, was he trying to draw its focus? The automaton whirred and clicked to life before letting out a roar and swinging its giant blade towards Time who rolled away from it just before it struck down. The giant construction tried in vain to free itself but its blade stuck fast into the ground that it didn't have the strength to pull free again. "NOW!" Time hollered to me, I shook my head and got to my feet sprinting forward as fast as I could in the water almost up to my knees.

I shouted and sliced the joint of the arm severing the blade arm from the rest of the automaton which shrieked in agony as it flailed back almost losing its balance before the gyroscope inside helped it regain footing. "Get back!" Time shouted to me, I instinctively dove for the ground as a blast of steam erupted from the silver body. My back caught the brunt of the burn but luckily the rest of my body was spared thanks to the cold water. I pulled my head back to the surface with a gasp just as the colossus was winding back the hammer on its free arm. I rolled and quickly moved away as the thunderous strike slammed into the water knocking me off my feet from the shockwave it left behind. I struggled to hoist myself back to my feet using my sword to help my balance as the Colossal being was able to easily lift the hammer again.

"Alright time for the other play, When it raises the hammer again I want you to slice both of its legs and as fast as you can run forward, it'll fall behind you!" Time shouted to me, I nodded understanding the plan as I saw him throwing loose stones at the colossus. To no avail his stones bounced off the body as its glowing red eyes were fixated on me, it had its target. The colossus stomped over towards me staring me down like it was expecting me to lay down my sword and give up, I steadied my stance and let out a scream at it forcing it to raise the enormous hammer again. In this window I sprinted forward while it was unable to look at me as it reared back and my blade hit home in the right ankle joint. I tried to make a break for the left but I was blasted back by another blast of steam blowing me back away as the colossus fell to its knee. "THE HAMMER, USE THE HAMMER!" I heard Time shout to me, I remembered we picked up an enchanted hammer in one of the other rooms and I put the Master Sword away before I summoned the hammer to my hands, it was heavy but I knew the enchantment was allowing me to use the massive skull hammer. I ran towards the automaton as it horizontally swung the hammer towards me, Instinct took over my body as I swung to the head of its hammer. When the heads met the giant silver hammer shattered making the colossus scream in agony as it was now left defenseless.

I sprinted towards it as it was rearing its head back to blow steam across the chamber and I pulled the Master Sword free again and slammed it into the body. The shockwave it created nearly shot me away from it but I held on tight to the Master Sword as the creation went silent and started falling forward and threatening to crush me. I only had time to put my arms up before the colossus evaporated into a cool mist, I blinked and looked around, it was no longer in the chamber and the door on the opposite end we came in from slowly opened. I saw Time running towards me. "Thank Hylia I thought you were about to be crushed…" He had told me with worry in his tone. Time took my arm over his shoulder and helped me towards the door before we were suddenly blinded by a white light coming from the door and I was suddenly elsewhere. "Hello, Hero of Nirn." A child's voice said, I rubbed my eyes to adjust to the visage that stood before me. "H…Hello?" I had asked out of confusion, suddenly the feeling of Time wasn't around me put me in a panic.

"I am the caretaker of this temple, I was once called the Hero Of Winds, The Tower Of The Gods was constructed in Nirn once the merging happened, at my death at the hands of Alduin the black scourge of the sky, I wandered here for ages waiting for the next hero. Then the imbalance shook the three temples as the lost fragments of our world corrupted my mind after a thousand years, you have cleansed this temple of its grief but you have to others to go, once you pass the threshold of the chamber ahead, you will find the key to the other temples and a teleport to the entrance." The old Hero Of Winds explained as he pointed towards the door ahead of us. "Where is Time? He should be here with me." I had asked the spirit who turned his small head. "That was the Hero of Time? Then excuse me a moment." The child said before a short moment later Time had fallen on the ground beside us with a groan of confusion. "It's a pleasure to meet you my ancestor Hero Of Time, I apologize that I didn't recognize you in this new body." The child said walking up to his predecessor.

"You shouldn't be apologizing to me, were it not for my sins you wouldn't have been pulled into the merge and Alduin wouldn't have fragmented Hyrule the way it is now. You wouldn't have met your end by that blasphemous dragon." Time had said looking down at his younger descendant. "You mistake yourself Hero Of Time, it's our duty as the hero to die for what we believe in. Committing the most heinous sin against Hylia or not, I trust the path you walk now with the new Heroine is to atone for your misdeed. I do not share the hatred for you that others will, having been a hero myself I understand what you wanted, even if it was just a foolish wish." Winds had said to Time who had just turned his head away and walked to the door waiting for me. "What will you do now Winds? I'm not sure in this form that you'll be able to travel with me as easy as Time can." I had asked the spirit. He turned his gaze to me again. "Worry not, I am meant to safeguard the temple here. It is my duty to pray to Hylia here and offer my strength to you, with the temple now cleansed you can return here anytime with that which waits for you ahead." Winds responded and bowed before disappearing. I walked over to Time and the two of us entered a darkened room with a stone table at its center with a small blue instrument at its center sitting atop a small book.

Time went to reach for it but the strangest thing happened as his hand went to touch the instrument, it passed right through as his body was treated as a spirit. I felt the anger behind him as he slammed his fist down on the table. I reached out and took hold of the small instrument feeling a warm energy crawl from my hand to my mind, the feeling caused me to shudder before I took some leather strips to make a sling for it to hang the instrument on my hip. I then took the book and flipped through its pages seeing only an assortment of dots and song names I turned the book to Time who raised his head a moment to look. "Oh…They're a collection of songs, those dots are notes to press in their order." Time said as I flipped through the pages again, I saw Time double take for a moment as he looked towards a locked gate. "Kotera…play the notes I mimic exactly as I do with the Ocarina!" Time had said as he led me to the gate and positioned me to face him. I brought the ocarina to my mouth and mimicked the notes he gestured. The somber tone echoed through the chamber and suddenly the same tone chanted behind me as the gate flew open causing me to shriek in fear a little and I raised my hand to cover my mouth. "Could you warn me the next time? How did you even know that was going to work?" I had asked him, feeling the heat rushing to my face knowing my shriek was girlish and not anything like the Hero I was supposed to be.

Time pointed to the floor at a tile that held the insignia of a sun and three beams of light. "The Song of Time opens all things with that marking, I'll have to teach you to use this Ocarina, it's got special powers you know." Time had said as we stepped towards the portal at the end of the newly opened path. "I should warn you hero….That is the Between World path, It is a path between Nirn and the forsaken Hyrule, It may not be safe to enter while the other two temples are still corrupted. My power alone is not enough to protect you." Winds had said appearing behind us. I was hesitant to move forward for a moment at those words.

"We're just going to look in to see what we can expect when we're ready." I had stammered a little before we entered the portal, I was hoping I could make quick enough movements to make it somewhere worth the risk. But I was mistaken as soon as we were through the portal. The air was thick and heavy, I felt my body ache immensely as I crumbled to the ground as my energy was sapped almost instantly while I fell to the crystalline floor. "Kotera are you alright?!" I barely heard Time shout, when I went to answer him I felt sick and began coughing, blood splattered against the crystal floor as I coughed up a large amount every time I tried to even speak, I was frozen there, I couldn't move or talk in this corrupted atmosphere. I couldn't even feel my Hylian energy to teleport me to safety. Time made quick work of pulling me by the back of my armor back through the portal where I gasped and slowly felt my energy returning.

"I did warn you that it wasn't safe you know…" Winds had said with a scowl on his face. "You could have said it would be hostile to her health the minute she stepped through you little Cretin!" Time growled as he stood to confront the spirit. "Both of you!-" I had started before coughing out the last of the blood and spitting, Time looked back at me with what I felt was the most concern from him where as Winds looked indifferent. I waved to Time that I was alright. "That's enough, we shouldn't fight amongst each other, there's bigger fish after all…." I had said getting a chuckle out of winds. "I wish you good fortune on your journey young hero, I will be here if you ever need advice or just wish to talk." Winds said before opening the gate of the other portal. I waved and we walked through finding the elevator again and took the ride back to the surface. "Are you sure you're alright? That seemed like it was killing you." Time had asked me, I nodded still struggling to completely catch my breath. "I'll meditate in New Hyrule when we get all this home, Let's go look at the view at the top…" I had said getting a nod from time before he put my arm around his shoulder again and helped me to the entrance.

"I don't get it, Why would Lady Elenwen send us to get into the ruins if we can't open the door?" We heard on the other side of the door. It sounded like the Thalmor were interested in the temple. When the door opened we were met with drawn elven steel. 'You there! How did you get into these ruins?" Their cloaked leader had ordered. I pointed to the Hylian writing on the door. "This temple is meant for Hylians, not the filthy grubby hands of the Thalmor. You are trespassing here, be gone!" I had demanded to them, I wasn't wrong, the temple shouldn't be sullied by their destructive intentions. "And what will you do about it girl? The door is open now, what's to stop us from overpowering you and your ward in what appears to be a weakened state and entering the ruins now?" The cloaked leader said arrogantly sticking his nose up as his subordinates readied themselves.

The temple then shuddered for a moment before two walking frames of armor passed Time and I, cloaked in a brilliant gold armor with the Triforce embedded in their armor. "Gentlemen, you are not welcome at my temple, you will leave or be treated as a threat and my phantoms will be happy to leave your corpses at the bottom of the ocean." I heard Winds say as his visage remained just behind the threshold of the temple doors. The two phantoms growled and took stances holding their giant blades in one hand and raising them high. Their shields pushed forward as their growls rumbled inside their armor. The Thalmor agents were quick to climb back into their boat and row away from the temple without another word.

"Thank you." I had said to Winds who just nodded. "Please feel free to take my bow from the top of the tower. One of the phantoms here will give you the key, The Great Sea Bow does not need arrows to loose the pure light it uses, but be wary that it takes energy to use so use it sparingly. There is also a book inside that will allow you to for a short time summon a phantom to fight by your side." Winds had said motioning us to the ramp at the side of the temple. We followed one of the phantoms up to the top who had placed a Hylian flag into then flag pole at the side of the tower. It then held a key out to me. I took the key and the phantom lumbered back down the ramp joining the other at the entrance before taking a position and both had become statues that stood guard of the temple doors.

Opening the chest I had found the golden yellow bow inside, it was an elegant creation, I pulled on the string and felt my energy rush to create an arrow of pure light I let go of the arrow and it plunged into the water illuminating the silhouettes of hundreds of fish before it pattered away. "Okay that was cool, also Oww." I groaned forgetting my energy was not fully recovered yet. "Come on fool, we better get you to the Inn and help you recover." Time had said helping me back to the boat, this time he just rowed us back to the Solitude docks, we returned the boat and made our way back to the Inn. I fell into a deep sleep as soon as my head hit the pillow of our room bed. My dream was of that between space, but I was looking down at it from above as if I was flying. One corner was now glowing in a brilliant gold while the other two were covered in a black miasma. I saw the Triforce being created by a visage between the three temples before I woke up.

I groaned as sat up in the bed to see Lydia there at my side. "Thank the Divines, what was in that ruin that roughed you up so badly? Your body was covered in burns and you were coughing all night." Lydia had told me about the night, telling me that she had helped me out of my armor and bandaged the burns on my body. I looked down looking at the bandages that now covered a good portion of my body. "Well in the very depths of the ruin there was a Dwemer centurion there, it was the size of three dragons put together, the burns are from the steam it blasted out whenever I struck a joint to bring it to its knees. As for the coughing…I stepped into a between realm that didn't like me being there, Luckily I was done coughing up blood by the time we got out of a temple, Got a bunch of relics and spells, and I made a new friend that can't leave the temple but saved us from some snooping Thalmor that trespassed on the temple grounds. That about sum it up Time?" I had asked Time who shook his head.

He waved Lydia out and I assumed they were going to have a long conversation about what happened. I laid back down and took a deep breath. I felt like I was going to be here for a little while before I could move again.
