Chapter 10: The White Gem

The night had fallen quietly over Reefside, the city almost serene despite the constant threat lurking just beyond the horizon. Alex and his team were still recovering from their latest battle, gathering together in their usual café spot after a long day. But, unknown to them, something darker was stirring—a new force was about to rise.

Seth, still reeling from his humiliating encounter with Alex, couldn't let it go. His mind, already clouded with bitterness and a desperate hunger for power, twisted with envy and resentment. He had never liked being overlooked, never liked feeling small, especially compared to Alex and his team. But tonight, he would change all that.

He'd heard rumors, whispers in the dark corners of the city, about an ancient gem—one that could give him more power than Alex and his friends could ever hope for. The White Dino Gem, a forgotten relic that had been buried for centuries. If he could find it, he would become unstoppable.

And so, he began his search.

Deep beneath the city's surface, hidden away in an underground cavern, the White Dino Gem lay dormant, its pure white light pulsing softly in the darkness. As Seth ventured into the cavern, guided only by his greed and the whispers in his mind, he found the gem, glowing with an almost unnatural intensity. He reached for it with trembling hands, the temptation too strong to resist.

The moment his fingers brushed against the gem, the world around him seemed to shift. His body was filled with an icy surge of power, cold and unrelenting. The gem responded to his touch, awakening something dark inside of him. The power coursed through him like a wildfire, reshaping him—molding him into something entirely new.

Seth's once arrogant smirk grew darker, more malicious. "This... this is just the beginning."

The White Dino Gem granted him the ability to control the very essence of ice and power, making him a formidable new force—an evil counterpart to the other Rangers. He had become the Evil White Ranger.
