~Strong residents Stars room~
It's been half a month since the accident and Star is trying to think of a way to tell her parents, or at least her mom, about the accident without them going crazy. She knows her dad will just brush it off like everything she tells him, if it doesn't involve popularity he doesn't care. Her mom though would blow a gasket if she found out it happened at the Fenton's place. That's why Star is thinking of ways to talk about the accident without revealing the location. 'I could say it was from a weird portal opening up during the storm that started on my way home!' Star thought her eyes glowing in concentration, something that happens every time she thinks now.
Star nodded going with that idea. She left her room and went downstairs where her mom was, as she decided to just tell her, and approached her. "Mom I need to tell you something!" Star said nervously.
Her mom turned to her looking serious. "What is it sweetheart?" Her mother asked.
'Here goes nothing.' Star thought before telling the story she made to explain the accident. She even changed to show her mom.
~Casper High half a month later~
Star was walking through an almost empty hallway before being pulled into a stairway without people noticing. She was originally annoyed by this until she saw it was Danny and Tucker. She smiled as she held her books, "Hey guys whats going on?"
"There was a little incident at home today." Danny told her. He then recounted the events that transpired, about the ghost detector, how he let his powers slip, and wanting to tell his parents. "Should I tell them?" He asked.
Star bit her lip in thought. "I dont know Danny. Your parents aren't like my mom. Granted it took me several hours to convince her not to sue your parents when she saw through my lie of how I got my powers." She shivered at the thought of her moms anger.
~Strong residents half a month ago~
After Star told her mom about her powers, and Mrs. Strong insisting on how Star really got the powers, she is being dragged as she holds her mother's waist to keep her from storming to the Fenton's home. "MOM NO! IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT!" She yells trying to stop her mother. Despite Star adding in her ghostly energy her mom was still dragging her.
"I don't care. You still got hurt while at their house!" Mrs. Strong calmly said with fury in her eyes.
Even though she sounded calm Star knew she wasn't. "Mom please calm down, or at least have some tea!" Star said hoping the mention of tea will help some. "I'll make your favorite!"
~stairway Casper High present day~
"Mom was scarily strong while mad." Star said with Danny and Tucker nodding.
"Does she still want to "chew me out" as you so eloquently put it?" Tucker asked nervously. He really doesn't want to feel her wrath.
"Unfortunately yes. She still wants that talk about you daring Danny to do something dangerous." Star replied feeling bad for the techno geek.
"So you don't think I should tell my parents Star?" Danny asked.
"Not at the moment no. Eventually if you have no other choice." Star answered. She then remembered something making her ask, "Your keeping up with the meditation to help keep your powers under control right?"
"Yeah, thanks for the advice by the way." Danny said with a bright smile.
Star blushed slightly at his smile, "Yeah no problem." She then got her blush under control after realizing she needed to be at the cafeteria. "Oh shit! I got to go. Paulina is probably wondering where I'm at. Bye guys." She waved bye as she ran off to be Poulina's "satellite" as others call her to her annoyance.
The boys waved back watching her leave. "Bye Star. See you later for the tutoring session for math." Danny said.
"See you then." Star replied. As she continued a pair of purple eyes watched her as the owner growls.
~Casper High cafeteria~
Star sat down looking disgusted at whats on her tray. "What is this?" She asked no one in particular.
"Ugh, no idea but it's so not in my diet!" Said a latina girl sitting beside her. The girl had long black hair, tan skin, lavender colored eye shadow, and blue eyes. She wore a pink short-sleeved shirt showing her midriff, blue skinny jeans, and white flats. Her name is Paulina Sanchez the "Queen" of Casper High.
Suddenly Star felt a chill and a purple whisp escaped her mouth. She was thankful that Paulina was to distracted by her makeup to noticed as she turned to see if Danny felt the chill as well. What Star saw though was a jock throwing mud at Danny's head. The jock was a caucasian boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. He wore a red and white letterman jacket, black shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes like all the other football players which Star found weird. He is Dash Baxter star quarterback and "King" of Casper High. "FENTON!" Dash yelled when he threw the mud. "I ordered three mudpies. You know what they gave me?" He asked Danny loudly slamming a plate of mudpies in front of him. "Three mudpies. Literal mud, from the ground!" Dash answered his own question. "All because of your ex-girlfriend!"
"She wasn't my girlfriend!" Danny replied before Dash grabbed his shirt and lifting him up.
"These are the best years of my life! After high school, it's all downhill for me! How am I supposed to enjoy my glory days eating mud?!" Dash complained.
"It's actually topsoil!" Sam said from the goth table.
"Whatever!" Dash replied dropping Danny on the seat and moved the plate of mud closer. "Eat it! All of it!" He told Danny.
As Star saw Danny about to eat the mud her ghost sense went off again along with his. She was going through all the possibilities she could to distracte everyone when she heard Danny yell, "GARBEGE FIGHT!" He then threw the mud in Dash's face making Star wince knowing the jock would get him back for that. The cafeteria went into chaos as mud and grass on bread were thrown about. Before Star could duck mud hit her face and hair along with Paulina's hair making them scream, despite being secretly friends with Danny and Tucker she still hates ruining her hair.
~Casper High hallway few minutes later~
Star and Paulina exit the restroom, since she couldn't phase the mud off with so many people, and Star felt bad for leaving Danny to deal with the ghost alone, but she had to deal with her hair without being suspicious. As the two walked Star heard Mr. Lancer scolding Danny for the mess. She got an idea to get him out of trouble though. After quickly convensing Paulina that it was Dash's fault they stomped over to the four people as Star yelled, "BAXTER!"
Dash jumped along with Lancer. "Ms. Strong whats wrong?" Mr. Lancer asked confused.
"Whats wrong is Dash started everything by hitting Fenton in the head with mud." Star said wording it to where Mr. Lancer can't interrupt her and make what she was saying into something about football. "If it wasn't for him Paulina and I wouldn't have needed to fix our hair." Paulina nodded at Star's words.
Mr. Lancer and Dash were surprised to say the least, but since a A-lister was blaming Dash the former had no reason to punish Danny. "Well since you brought this to light thank you Ms. Strong." Mr. Lancer turned to Dash who looked scared. "I'll give you a warning Mr. Baxter." He said before walking away making Star groan mentally.
Dash then looked at Star and asked, "Why are you protecting Fenton?"
"As if. You threw the first glob of mud so you technically started it." Star said with faux sense of superiority. Thankfully Dash isn't smart enough to tell she was acting, and just stomped off to angry to even wail on Danny surprisingly. Paulina left with him, even though shes upset with him, not realizing that Star didn't follow. Star looked at Danny and asked, "What happened?"
"Well we're dealing with a lunch lady ghost, Sam entered the kitchen after I changed, the lunch lady ghost attacked us after Tucker said Sam changed the menu, and then Sam was taken after I phased me, Tucker, and Sam out of the kitchen before i lost focus changing back to human." Danny said listing off the events she missed.
"Wow a lunch lady ghost? Hmm, she definitely has a connection to lunch time if she came do to the change in menu." Star replied her thoughts running a mile a minute wondering if the ghost controls all aspects of lunch, since she wasn't there to help, or just the food.
"Star can we focus? Sam is in trouble and we need to help her." Danny said with some worry, they might not hang out anymore but she used to be his friend.
"Sorry Danny. So how are we going to find her?" Star asked.
"With my keen sense of smell of course!" Tucker proudly proclaimed. He then sniff Star before stating, "You had roast beef and Italian sausage last night, nice."
Star looked to Danny, "How is it that we have ghost powers yet he's the weird one?" Danny shrugged as he followed Tucker with Star following behind.
~Casper High meat storage~
Star, Danny, and Tucker are looking past a corner seeing Sam stuck in a pile of meat. Star and Danny were worried while Tucker was drooling over the meat.
"So how do we do this?" Danny asked.
"I don't know. Maybe we can talk to her? If not we can always fight." Star suggested.
"I think talking went out the window awhile ago Star." Tucker told her.
"Won't hurt to try." Star replied. She then focused on her powers as a purple ring appeared around her and separated. When it finished her appearance change. Her blonde hair changed to purple, her blue eyes became green with slited pupils, she has purple patches of scales on her cheeks, purple dragon wings sprouting from her back, and wore a blue and white hazemat suit, that shows of her curves much to the boys pleasure, with a white P with a whispy tail.
"Um, why did you change if you want a peaceful talk?" Tucker asked confused.
"You think Sam will accept my help as myself?" Star asked.
Tucker was about to say something but stopped before commenting, "Good point."
Danny changed just incase Star's talk turned into a fight and nodded ready to follow her lead. Star flew to the lunch lady ghost and introduced herself, glad she already thought of a name for herself, "Hi, I'm Phantasm nice to meet you."
Lunch lady looked at her, "Oh hello dear. What can I do for you?"
"I was hoping that you could return to the ghost zone without any problem?" Star asked politely.
Lunch lady's expression changed from friendly to mad. "I'm sorry but I need to teach this disrespectful child the value of meat." She says angrily pointing to Sam.
"I'm sure she probably deserves the lecture for changing the menu, but some people just don't like meat." Star says trying to keep the ghost calm while ignoring Sam's indignant "hey".
"What's not to like about meat? It makes you strong, and gives you disapline!" The ghost said almost calm.
Before Star could answer Sam interjected, "We don't need meat and thats a fact!" Star glared at her when she said that reigniting the Lunch Lady's fury as Tucker and Danny facepalmed.
The Lunch Lady ghost summoned almost all the meat in the storage room and made it surround her like meat armor. "Oh shit!" Star said turning to Sam again and shout to her, since she was freed from the meat pile, "RUN!" Sam did not need to be told twice as she booked it in the opposite direction of the ghost. She ran passed Danny, as Phantom, who joined Star ready to fight.
Star and Danny fly at Lunch Lady With Star holding her fist back for a punch and Danny going for a kick. She just caught the attacks and tossed the two half ghosts. Star hit some boxes that buried her as Danny was about to hit a wall he focused on his flight to slow his speed. He succeeded in slowing himself down and crouched against the wall. When he launched at the ghost Star came from the boxes for a surprise attack.
Lunch Lady was caught off guard as they hit her. Despite her meat armor she felt the hits so she made a strategic retreat. When she left Star and Danny sighed in relief. "This was an interesting day." Star said pulling a shiskabob stick from her shoulder. Seeing the wound heal quickly she didn't worry about hiding it. "Come on we still have class." Danny nodded and they went to the rest of their classes.
~Strong residents night~
Star was in her room thinking of what transpired that day when Mrs. Strong came in her room. "Hey sweetie how was school?" She asked.
"It was interesting." Star replied filling her mom in on the events.
Ms. Strong seemed worried but knew her daughter can handle herself. "Well I hope you and your new friend can get this Lunch lady ghost." She said hugging her daughter before she left the room. "Sleep tight Estella."
"Night mom." Star replied laying down after turning off her lamp.
~outside of Casper High next day~
Star was slack jawed seeing two protests at the same time. On one side there's a vegan protest calling for plant based foods and on the other was a protest calling for more meat. The head of each protest was Sam and Tucker. 'I can't believe Tucker would bring more meat right now. He's just giving Lunch lady more power.' She thought to herself. Suddenly her ghost sense went off putting her on guard. She jumps into a bush transforming into her ghost form just as the meat from the freezer truck burst out and form the meat monster that Lunch Lady's meat armor made the day before.
Star heard Tucker shout about meat betraying him but ignored it deciding to focus on the fight.
~Casper High after the ghost attack~
All of the students were helping pick up the meat and "ultra-recyclo-vegetarian" food that got scattered around during the fight. Star looked over to Danny just in time to see him use intangibility to bury Dash in meat making her giggle.
AN: I ended it this way cause I couldn't think of anyway to incorporate Star into the second fight with Lunch Lady hope you all aren't upset. even if you are to bad that's the reality of fanfiction. you never know if you can properly adjust the story.
